A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It's nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.
"Well other than running into you?" She pretend to think "No." Tay sighed. Taylor was still wearing basically no colors but she didnt have any makeup on this time. Her eyes had shadows underneath them.
He sighed looking at her, "Something's obviously wrong... and we're still friends. What happened to being able to come to each other with anything no matter the circumstances?" He frowned. He didn't know why he was doing this. He was just making it harder for himself.
"That ended when we drifted apart. I dont go to my friends for help, only my best friends and my boyfriend." She simply said, "It is none of your concern what is wrong with me anyways." Tay sighed.
"Taylor..." He fliched at her words again. He sighed, Don't be upset, she's helping you... Damon turned and started walking away, "I guess... I'll just leave then..."
"Damon wait!" She grabbed his arm and pulled him, "I'm sorry for snapping at you.... I havent slept in over 40 hours......" Taylor looked away and backed away, "I'm sorry....."
Damon looked back, lightly pulling his arm away, no more of that. No more touching. He looked at her, his brown eyes looking extremely dull, "There's nothing to be sorry about..."
Damon looked at her for a second, then started to sing the guys part with her. He didn't see the point in it but he did anyways, when they finished he looked at her, "Feeling any better now?"

Jonathan had always been able to see everything, even without her metamorphagus abilities reflecting her emotions for her. She had never hid anything from him...until now. She couldn't even think back on before this moment, back when things were simple and they were together. All there was for her right now was this. This pain. This pain that SHE had caused because....because she selfishly couldn't bring herself to trust him.
And then she saw it. Even though he acted swiftly and removed it to try and hide the fact that it had been there, Kurumi had seen it and she took several steps forward to try and reach him, but his words stopped her again. Still, she had closed the gap between them considerably and she didn't know if that was a good thing or not. Probably wasn't...nothing that was happening now between them was a good thing. None of it.
"Y-Y-Yes," she said honestly, her breathing shaky and her entire body trembling. It didn't matter that the instances had been back towards the end of the term and then nothing in between. She couldn't try to sugar coat it with that fact, she didn't want to. What she wanted was for Jonathan to get angry. Get mad at her. Shout. Throw things. Make her frightened of HIM so that she could say what had been haunting her thoughts for a while now and do so in the heat of the moment. But he wasn't. Jonathan wouldn't do that to her...not even after all this. "I...know..."
Regret. Kurumi was now feeling it and it was a terrible emotion.
His next words were the worst said between them so far and this time her legs actually buckled underneath her and she feel to the ground. Melted was a better way to describe it. Kurumi melted into the ground and her hands were back on the side of her face as if trying to drown out the world. She couldn't even bring herself to apologize. Those words...they wouldn't mean much, not like this.
She missed him shaking his head seeing as her face was buried in her hands as she sat there in a pile on the ground, but she certainly heard him. He couldn't possibly...after what she had just told him...he couldn't possibly still want her, could he? Want them? Kurumi knew she didn't deserve a second chance. She wouldn't have given one to her if she was in Jonathan's position. It wasn't fair...
"I...I...I..." The lump in her throat was back, chocking her and making it hard to breath while her heart was pounding in her chest. It felt like it was going to break her rib cage it was pounding so hard. "....I...I don't think...we...we should be together..." She whimpered and burried her face in her hands again, her black hair a tangled mess around her shoulders. "You...you can't trust me...you...you should be with someone you can trust and...and....and....I'm not her..."
Surely he had to see that, see that she was awful. See that she was the one at fault here. See that see was the source of everything. Why would he want someone like that? It broke her heart to think this, but she still cared for him...and it would be selfish to ask him to take her back when she knew that she would never full be his again. He could forget her easier than he could forgive her... at least that is how Kurumi felt about it.
Jonathan was just getting mad, annoyed and sad all the same time. It's not like he could blame her but at the same time he does blame her. After hearing her answer, Jonathan blames his father... for a lot of reasons actually. Not that he thinks of him as a bad person, he took the suggestion in the end too. But the reason that it all sum up to this was him leaving right? So what now? They both blame him, they blame his father? Or what? Jonathan doesn't know. He can't even reason out with this anymore. He's just tired bottling this up and once again, could not give her an answer. If he did, it wouldn't be much decent at all.
It had finally become a new reflex to Jonathan, when Kurumi took a step forward, his feet automatically moved backwards as well. He didn't want the gap between them close, he didn't want them close, he wanted this settled. He wanted this talked out. His back can finally lean on the tree, which means if she moves anymore close, he'll have to take a different route.
Gulp.
"I..." he said in despair "...trusted you" he couldn't help himself to bring this one up. "...all the time" his heart felt like it was suffocated, his breathing started to lessen, he was starting to feel suffocated.
Another deep breath and then opened his mouth once more to speak.
"What else is there to tell me?" he said in a rather annoyed tone. That was just him probably being sarcastic at this time but not entirely. Was there something else that she needed to tell him that can make him even more crushed than he already is right now? Jonathan hadn't switched to an expression, it was all blank and straight.
Jonathan blinked for several of times when he saw Kurumi on the ground. He held on to where he was though. Seeing her cry made it all even worse right now. It felt like he was being tortured for this. Was this some sort of filthy punishment? Jonathan stopped looking at her and distracted himself with another view. he couldn't bare doing so. It was just too much to handle not only for him but to her as well...
Suddenly Kurumi said something that snapped Jonathan's head back to her. His eyes widened and his heart beat raced faster than it was earlier. He's.... No.... He looked at Kurumi on the ground and as much as he wants being stuck to where he was, he slowly moved his feet, closed the gap between them and looked down at her while she was moping there. There are just soooo many thoughts in his head right he doesn't know which one should come out.
Bending his feet he positioned himself into a squat and held her shoulder once more. Jonathan was not ready for this, not even with her suggesting it. Was he mad? Of course he is. He felt betrayed and everything seems like nothing is right anymore. But does he want it to end? . . .
That he couldn't even answer. Kurumi is the only girl that make Jonathan different. She was the first girl to bake him something and not buy. She was the girl who considered him and his behavior nothing more but something normal. Apart from all of that, she never considered him to be the typical Slytherin when some people did. So right now, the words she just suggested was hurting him so much.
Blink. Blink.
Jonathan bit his lower lip, does she want this to be all over? "If we end this, you and me, this relationship..." he said looking at her "...I will never speak to you again" that is probably the most selfish thing he had said to Kurumi and this time, by the tone of his voice, he is dead serious. He couldn't bear seeing her just a friend. He doesn't even want to be just a friend to her because he'd always want more. So no.
His hand on his shoulder fell and was back on his lap.
He sighed looking at her, "Are we back to using songs to explain how we feel?" He paused before he looked down and started to sing. Maybe the song would help her understand a little better. It was more the chorus of the song that explained how he felt but he sang the song none the less.
Her eyes filled with tears and one dropped and trailed down her face. Tay's face soften and her hand came up but she didnt dare touch him... not yet. She sang back.
Damon bit his lower lip, he looked at her. His eyes also filling with tears. His voice shook but he continued with his next song. Changing the lyrics to fit him singing it to her.
Tay shook her head, "You didnt ruin anything, i did by refusing.... sorry for being so rude.... I was just hurt that you were pushing me away even though i understood why you were doing it, it still hurt....." Taylor sighed, "Sorry it took me forever to finally admit it.... but what can we do? It was useless for me to say it....."
Damon looked at her and sighed, she was right... both of them were dating someone else... Why did he have to ask Minnie out before seriously talking to Taylor about it? Gah... He was being stupid as always... He shrugged, "We... just see where things go... because I have no intention on leaving Minnie yet and Maxwell... well, you and him are..." He didn't know how to say it, they obviously were to young to be in love but at times that's how it seemed.
