Monte was EXCITED!

Not that it was anything new. He was excited everyday, ever since he opened his brand new hair salon shop right here, but today was the weekend of the Hogsmeade anniversary, and Monte was showing his spirit in the colors of blue and...blue. Blue shoes, blue pants, blue shirt, blue hair...blue eyebrows...

Blue!

Monte adjusted his sparkly BLUE jacket before going over to sit on one of the orange couches while fixing up the magazines, awaiting the moment when one brave customer would enter his shop. Maybe one of the young students wanted a crazy new hairdo! Or you know, not so crazy.

Well, this shop was certainty... colourful.

Glenn stepped inside the shop and eyed the board by the desk that said what they offered. She let out an audible snort. Why would people pay for all of this? She was only here because she needed a haircut, split ends and all that. She smirked and approached the receptionist desk.

The man was certainly enthusiastic and very different from the muggle hairdresser's she was used to. Those woman (Or at least the ones she had gone to) had paid more attention to the gossip they were spilling rather than the hair they were supposed to be cutting and had cut her hair lop-sided more than once, scissored her left ear last summer. She still had the scar.

"Hello..." She said, pulling her hands from her hoody pockets, "I'd like an er- wet cut." No dying her curls blue. Despite how fashionable he seems to think it is.

At first Daichi had only entered the shop because it was new and his curiousity was too big. But now that he realised that this was a hair styling salon the fourth year decided to stay. He had his plushed duck, Mr.Duckles in his right hand that was hanging by his side. He knew that his father would ground him if he found out he would get a different hair colour again but he didn't had to know right? hehe.

As he stood there thinking, lost in thoughts and unaware that another girl was in the shop as well he nodded his head. So, he would get his haircut. His father wouldn't ground him if he got a haircut because everyone were supposed to get them every now and then. But the coloring was going to be difficult... "Oh! i got it!" His eyes twinkled misschieviously. He would BUY a black hair color bottle and when there was only a few days left at school he would color his hair black at the washroom. His father never needed to know~!

The twinkles in his eyes never died even as he turned to look around the room some more and that was when he noticed a blue man sitting on a orange couch. Blinking a couple of time because he thought his mind was playing tricks on him, he stared at the man. That had to be the stylist right? Of course, only a stylist dressed funny hehe. "Haaaii blue man~!" he waved his hand and the plushy waved with it.

This.... is.... a new store, right?

Jonathan was sure, this store was not here before. Come on, how could he not notice this before? Especially during his fifth year when he had the blonde hair that he was purely against with. This place would have done the trick. Yes, now that he thought of it, he doesn't remember this place before. New store. Jonathan was just curious to what's inside.

Entering the store, Jonathan was a bit cautious with his steps. Hair salon? It looks really... uhmm... nice? Jonathan looked at the pretty interior designing. He's definitely sure, he hasn't been here before. Taking a few more steps to the receptionist desk, Jonathan saw the blue guy? Judging him from here, he seems to like blue.... A LOT. Smiling at the man in blue, Jonathan eyed the pricing list for the moment. "Hello" he said smiling awkwardly at him. He has never seen someone have so much blue for fashion.

Jonathan glanced his eyes back at the pricing list instead.

Snort?

Looking up from the magazines, Monte looked over to where the noise came from. By golly, look at those CURLS! Who would ever want to cut those?? This young girl here did! "Hello! Hello." he greeted cheerfully, hopping up from his seat on the couch and letting the rest of the magazines he was holding drop to the table. Merlin, the SMILE he had on his face! Excited!

He gave a BIG blue gesture to follow him around the desk and towards one of the colorful stations. "Yes, yes, of course." Monte nodded. He nodded because he understood. No, not really, he didn't. "I can't imagine why anyone would want to cut curls such as yours though."

Oh, OH! There was another young kid in here!

Monte LAUGHED at being called a blue man. That, and he found the plush duck was oh so picture perfect right now, it brought up his spirits TEN fold! "Hello there, young sir!" Monte greeted in return, giving a big blue waving back to him. "Welcome to Triple S!"

Did he like the nickname? Monte only thought of it just hours before while eating his breakfast!

THIS ONE!

The blonde suited him.

"Welcome!" he exclaimed, holding out his arms in a BIG welcoming gesture. Welcome, welcome! Monte laughed. He laughed because he COULD and this was a marvelous event. "What can I do for you, Mister..." Name?

Jonathan starred at the man when he had this sort of big gesture ready for Jonathan. Was he going to hug him? Jonathan was not big on hugs but he looked really friendly, in his own way. Still all the blueness is just different. You don't see someone like this on a normal day... except for Lola Jones. That girl was just weird.

Anyways, Jonathan smiled once more to the man in blue when he somehow asked for his name "Jonathan" no need to call him Mister Kim. Let's leave that for his father. He's not used to people calling him mister Kim. Well, other than the professors.

Oh, and why was he here? Jonathan brushed his bangs in front of him, just to give him a glimpse of how long it was. His hair is almost covering his eyes when he brushes it in this way. "I'd like to trim this" pointing to his bangs "But only trim it short" TRIM not extreme trim. He just wants his bangs to be trimmed above his eyes and not further more. He's not used to them too short either and he will be devastated if it was trimmed longer than he expects.

Pam walked in with a huge smile on her face. She loved going to the salon. When he walked in with a strange color of hair, she didn't feel out of place. But she wasn't really here for a coloring. She needed more shampoo and conditioner. Since the burning of her house, the only hair products she's had for the past year are the ones that she brought with her. Along with the products, she was thinking about getting her hair curled. Nothing major, just a different sort of look. But that was only if she had enough money. She looked around for a shopkeeper, hoping she could help.

Woah.

Daichi jumped a little after the man LAUGHED the moment he waved at him. The smile on his face got even brighter when the man wasn't mad at being called a blue man. "Triple S? what's tha--" His chocolate brown eyes landed on the shop sign and he let out a "oooh!" when he finally got it. Turning his gaze back to the odd but friendly man at the same time Jonathan walked in. And....HE DIDN'T EVEN SAY HI TO HIM! Hmpf!

The fourteen year old pouted his lips as he continued to look at Jonathan. Maybe he simply had not seen him. "YO JONNY~!" he shouted with a wide grin. Until he remembered he was in a shop. "Oops, sorry Sir" maybe he should tell why he was here now? "Sir, Mr.Blue man sir? can i have a haircut AND a different color in my hair?" He was missing something.. oh right! "And, sir do you sell black colored hair color because if my father finds out i have a new color in my hair ..." his eyes widened behind his big nerd glasses.

Jonathan was going through the price list at the moment. He was really quite curious about this store. IT WASN'T HERE BEFORE and thank Merlin he got to experience, see and smell this store before he officially graduates. Totally awesome and cool for starters. Jonathan has been meaning to trim his bangs but he couldn't just randomly approach anyone with scissors in their hands in school, right? NO! Plus, he doesn't know anyone that he could actually trust with scissors to trim his bangs, so basically this salon is now saving him.

YO JOHNNY???

Great. Another nickname. What is---- Jonathan's eyes widened as the voice sounded familiar. Could it be? B-but, he could never... Come on.... Jonathan turned around to see who it was, and he was right... It is Daichi. Why was he here though? To color his hair? It doesn't need much trimming like Jonathan's hair, right? Jonathan had a big smile on his face as soon as he saw it was Daichi. It's been awhile since he saw his little duck boy brother. "Hey, how are you?" he said smiling at him. Oh, "You're here for???" he added. Just out of curiosity that's all.

Sierra stepped into the hair salon and then took a quick glance back out into the street. Had anybody seen her come in here? For some reason, she wanted to avoid that at all costs. She wanted to be prettier, though. At fifteen-years-old, she still hadn't had her first boyfriend, and it bothered her. She'd never tell a soul, though. Maybe getting her hair cut or dyed would help. Maybe.

She looked over the pricing list and made up her mind. She wanted to get her hair cut and add in some highlights. Bright green or maybe just normal blonde. She didn't know. What she did know was that she had to ask her parents permission first. Blahh. She'd always had to. So grabbing a piece of parchment and a quill out her bag, she wrote:

Mom,

I'm in Hogsmeade, and they've just opened a brand new hair salon. Can I get my hair cut and highlighted with either green or blonde highlights?

She sent it off. A few moments later, the reply came.

Sierra,

Blonde would be best.

Mehh. She hadn't expected to be allowed the green highlights anyway. So then it was settled. She'd get her hair cut and dyed with blonde highlights. Or maybe she should just go ahead and get the green. After it was all said and done, there wasn't much that could be done, right? Ehh... She shifted awkwardly from one foot to the other and waited for the pwner to come her way.

Ira skipped excitedly into the hair salon. Yes! This was wonderful! She had wanted to change her look a bit for sometime now, but hadn't actually found the place or permission either.

But here, she COULD change her hair style and color and everything, right? *cough* No need to ask parents she hoped.

Entering in, she at first saw some students already in. She knew Glenn and Daichi.. but didn't know the older two for sure. "Hey Daichi!" she waved her hand at him. Was he gonna change his look too? He looked cute enough already!

Anyways, what to change? Looking at the price menu, which seemed a bit much, she pondered over it.

Maybe the shop keeper would suggest something good and cheap too? And then remembered taht she hadn't yet seen who the shopkeeper was. Eeps! That.. weird blue man? He was the shopkeeper? He seemed so.. alienlike!

...Alrighty then! Jonathan it was.

"Jonathan!" he repeated, clasping his hands together as his gaze zoned in on the young man's bangs. "I can do that, yes. Will take only a moment! Can even do so standing up if you so wish." Monte laughed and nodded as he stepped to the side, gesturing Jonathan to come around the receptionist desk towards the stations in the back. The sad case of long bangs.

It's why Monte didn't have them!

Monte SMILED. He did so, because another curious customer was in his shop. HIS SHOP! He still couldn't believe it after all these years. "Good day to you!" he greeted in a very cheerful manner. "Welcome! Welcome. If you need assistance with anything, just let me know."

The boy got what he was saying!

Monte LAUGHED and smiled even more as he nodded. Oh, friends! The more the merrier in his opinion. "No harm done." he said, holding his hands up in surrender before listening to what the young man wanted. A coloring, huh? Oh, against the parent's wishes, hmmmm? "We do sell black coloring here, yes."

Monte nodded a little before moving to the young man's side, lowering his voice a little. "I do also have a coloring that washes out over time if you're interested." Save the boy some money and time, right?

Monte saw the girl. Yup! Nothing got past him!

Even if he was silently rocking out to the music playing. A little jiggy here every now and then couldn't be help though. "Welcome! Welcome." he greeted, holding out his arms in a warm gesture as he made his way over to the girl, a bounce evident in his step. "Is there anything I can help you with on this fine day?"

Oh? Another person who knew this 'Daichi'. Must have been the boy with the duck.

Nevertheless, Monte waited for a few moments or so to give the girl time to look over the pricing and whatnot. Time to give her ideas on why exactly she was in here in the first place. "Good day to you! Welcome to Simply Stylish." he greeted happily, making his way over to her. Monte smiled! "What can I help you with today, Miss..."

Hmmm...Name?

Ira looked up from the price list as the weird blue man came towards her. She smiled at him. He did seem nice. But still all that overdose of blue seemed alien.

"Wilson." she replied, "I'm Ira Wilson" She introduced herself. She wasn't used to being called as Miss Wilson, she much more preferred to be just called as Ira. So she said to the shopkeeper, "You can just call me Ira, Mr...." Your name please?

So what did she wanna do here? Color her hair.. and style it too.. actually, Ira didn't know much about it all. She hadn't done any such styling before. Or rather her parents hadn't allowed her to. Nevertheless she was free to do as she wished here in Hogsmeade. Especially seeing that they had those special coupons. That made it even better!

"I wanna style m-my hair.. you know, a bit differently.. though I'm not sure what exactly.." she stuttered. But she did know one thing, she wanted red highlights. That was for sure.

"Um.. any ideas?" she asked the blue shopkeeper. "But yes, I do want red highlights." Yep, Ira was totally excited for this.

Oh Merlin... what was she doing here?

She followed the blue man hesitantly over to the weird stations and sat down. Was it just her imagination, or was he paying particular attention to her hair?

Glenn turned in her seat and saw a couple of people come in, Ira and Daichi she knew and she vaguely knew who the Slytherin girl was... the older boy she didn't at all. She gave a small smile to Ira and Daichi that she hoped accurately conveyed her feelings about being in this (shudder) beauty shop.

Right. She had been right about him paying attention to her hair, "I don't want anything too... full on." She said, glancing a the hairstyles in the magazines, "Just kind of- a trim?" Please don't murder her hair.

oooh! he looked at him~

Daichi's smile turned in to a grin the moment Jonathan turned to look at him. "I'm fine!" he called from the other end of the shop before moving a little closer so that he didn't have to talk so loudly. Well, he always talked loudly when he wasn't nervous hehe... What was he here for? "I want to cut and style my hair and add a little dark red in it~" Yes, he wanted that and NO ONE could stop him! "Jonathan?" he asked after his excitment had calmed down a bit. "I haven't seen Kurumi anywhere around the school..i must have missed her everytime" bleh one thing that was bad about a huge castle as a school. "But..but she promised me to make a cake and do someting with the duckies at the pond!" his cheeks puffed a little "Can you ask if it's still on, pleeease?" Because he was her boyfriend right?


Hearing his name called out, the Slytherin turned his whole body around in a kind of spin. Seeing a Gryffindor waving at him it took him a few seconds for his slow brain to understand the girls name but when he got it he waved back at her. "Hi Ira!" He wanted to say more but at the same time the shop owner talked to him again...


Giving one last quick wave to Ira, Daichi turned back to face the Blue man and he looked hopefully when he said that they did sell black coloring. But...how much was that going to cost? Automatically, the fourth year grabbed out his wallet while tucking his plushed duck under his arm. The wallet was yellow and the front had a ducks beak. He opened it at the top to count his money.

He therefore jumped a little again when he realised that the blue man had moved to this side. The Slytherin looked at the man through his big black glasses. "Really?! there is such a thing? wooah!" that would save him sooo much money. "You're a GENIUS Mr.Blue man sir!" Daichi said and bowed his head. A little to quickly because the glasses on his face slided down his nose and he saw it falling to the floor. He made an awkward attempt to catch it resulting in that he also dropped his plushed duck and the wallet which was thankfully closed .



Feeling awkward with his stuff on the ground, The Slytherin surveyed the shop in the hope that no one had seen that fail. His eyes landed on a certain third year and he couldn't help but blush when she smiled at him. Not that he liked her in that kind of way, he hardly knew her. Neither did he blush because there was a possibility she had seen him dropping his stuff. He blushed because he was instantly reminded of that Seminar class from last year. No need to explain more...

Jonathan seems happy nowadays, Jonathan used to remember his gloomy look that he gives to anyone. Something good must have happen to him, perhaps? He even called him Johnny which is odd because Jonathan has never heard the little snake refer him to any nicknames at all. He is officially JonJon to a few people but that was it. He can't take nicknames and quite frankly, Johnny is not a good nickname. Louisa dared called him that once, fail.

So he was here to cut his hair and add red highlights? Or some parts of his hair? Jonathan was quite at awe, he never knew Daichi would love to color his hair and especially in red. Wait, "Why red?" nothing really. It's more of a curious answer. Ohhh, maybe his favorite color is red? Who knows? Jonathan faced the price list once more as he waited for someone to entertain him for his haircut. But then, Jonathan suddenly looked at the ground when Daichi asked him that question.

She promised me to make a cake and do someting with the duckies at the pond! Can you ask if it's still on, pleeease?

No. He is not going over the whole 'we broke up' speech. Too many people had asked already. Daichi was a close friend of his but, sorry. He didn't want to talk about it. After awhile of not answering Daichi, he lifted his gaze once more and turned to him, giving him a smile. Jonathan was good enough to pull a poker face. "I haven't seen her around too" well, technically he still sees her in class but he just needed a good reason, right? "She's busy with prefect stuffs" continuing with another big smile "Maybe you'll see her around." and his head turned back to the price list.


Should he give Monte a picture of how long or rather, how short he wants his bangs to be trimmed? NAHHH, he seems to be professional enough to do this simple thing. Jonathan just needs to rely on the blue man some more. He didn't open up this salon so he could destroy hair, right? Exactly. Jonathan just needed to get out of his usual comfort zone and relax.

Jonathan smiled and nodded in approval when he suggested about trimming will take only a moment. Then he followed the man's gesture and walked at the stations in the back. Sitting in one chair, ready for his bangs to be trimmed.

Sierra was alright until the man's arms opened wide. Was he going to HUG HER?! He just better NOT! Her eyes grew wide, and she took several steps backward until she felt her body come into contact with the wall. Great. Just great. Sierra could feel confident in facing just about anything, but you put in front of someone possibly wanting a hug, and she completely folds.

"You're not going to hug me, are you?" she finally asked. "Anyway, ...I was coming in for a haircut and some green or blonde highlights. My mom said no to the green, but I'm good with blonde. Oh, and...I decided against the haircut." She took a moment to study the man's appearance, noting he looked far more...let's just say unique...than Sierra ever cared to be. "You can do that, right? And I won't end up with something weird, like...rainbow hair?"

Pam smiled at the shopkeeper. Finally! She thought. A cheerful person. "Yes, actually. I need shampoo and conditioner. But I was also in need of your opinion. I was thinking sometime soon I would get a new look. Nothing major. I can't color my hair. But I was wondering if you had any ideas for a thick curl look." She didn't dare tell him she was a meta. One, she couldn't control what color her hair turned. And two, she didn't think of it as something to flaunt. But she was tired of her straight, boring, hair. She needed something playful, but easy to work with when she was on the run over the summer.

Wow! The outside of the shop was definitely eye catching. Emmanuelle stood outside pondering whether or not to go in. On one hand, she had been wanting to go blonde for awhile now. On the other hand, if she went in and had her hair dyed, she would be going against her mother's wishes as any time she would ask to dye it, her mother had said no. 'Why would you want to dye that beautiful red hair?' she would say.

Emmanuelle finally decided that her mom would just have to get over it. Besides, it wasn't like she could see her anyway, being at Hogwarts and everything. And if she decided she didn't like it, she could always come back during another Hogsmeade weekend. So, tossing her naturally red hair over her shoulder, Emmanuelle opened the door to the shop and stepped inside. Finding the reception desk, she walked up to it and said "Hello!" to the man standing behind it.

Simply Stylish Salon?

How come this was the first time Nora had seen this super colourful and nice looking place, since she was living in Hogsmeade and all? Well, because it was NEW, that's why. And, of course, she had to try it! Stepping inside, she couldn't help but glance around at all those colours and textures and designs and whatever! At a more careful look... the girl spotted some plushy couches, and made her way over there, until whoever owned the place had time for her. Despite the fact that her hair had grown considerably, now reaching the middle of her back, she wasn't there for cutting it, neither for more green highlights. Well, she had one green streak, and she liked it that way.

As she filed through the magazines, she decided against anything way too... different. She just wanted to have curly hair. Curls were pretty. Hehe.

Glenn saw Daichi blush and it caused her own face also to go bright red. The seminar class.. she'd forgotten.

Veeeeeery awkward. She turned quickly away from Daichi and stared determinedly in the mirror. He wasn't going to see just how embarrassed she was by that charm thingy. Stupid pink woman.

Miss Wilson!

No?

"Ira." he nodded slowly, seeing if there wasn't another change in her name, but nope. Ira it was then! "Well, it's nice to meet you, Ira. I'm Monte Bossa, but, you can just call me Monte." He held out his hand to shake hers. Proper greeting and all of that, right?

OH! Styling! With RED highlights! Yes, he could do BOTH of those! "Well, there are just TONS of styles you can go for." He gestured on over to the stations behind the reception desk. Moving to one of the stations! "Curly or wavy hair is quite popular. Layers help a lot when going for those looks. Bangs have also made their comeback, though for you..."

Monte stopped next to a station and looked at her, patting the chair with one hand while rubbing his chin with the other. He was CONTEMPLATING stuff!

Mmmhmmm. Monte nodded. NODDED a lot.

Just a trim. Looking at the ends, there really wasn't much damage anyhow. "Just a trim." He grinned as he placed a BLUE cover around her, clipping it in the back. "Well lets go to the back then and wash your hair really quick, and then onto the trim!"

Hopefully repeating the word 'trim' would make her less nervous. He could sense it!

Monte SMILED and nodded. "There is!"

Oh, he wouldn't call himself a genius per say. Before he could respond however, ALL CHAOS BROKE LOOSE! Oops! Bending down to help the kid, Monte picked up the plushed duck and the wallet. SOMEONE...liked ducks. A lot.

"Wouldn't be interested in a duck design with your coloring, would you?" Monte JOKED, but he was also serious at the same time. He would, if the boy wanted it. He held the items out for the young lad to take back.

Yes, sitting was probably best. Otherwise, Monte would have to get his trusty stool out to get an even cut on the lad's bangs, and he despised getting the stool out. What he lacked in height, he brought out with personality ANYWAYS!

Taking out a light green cover, Monte wrapped it around the young man, and clasped it in the back before picking up a dark blue comb and pair of scissors. "Won't take long. We'll go a little at a time." See how short the boy wanted it. "If you can lean your head forward a little..."

Really, he wasn't going to ruin it, or he wasn't Monte Bossa!

Hug her? DID SHE WANT A HUG!? Monte did hugs!

Nevermind apparently. Hugs for another day then!

Monte nodded. Yup, he underSTOOD that! Highlights, but no on the green and the haircut. Monte LAUGHED though. "Goodness, no. You won't get rainbow hair unless you ask for it." he smiled. "I can do a blond for you. Natural? Or you going for a more platinum look?"

Oh? Shampoo and conditioner!

Monte nodded as he listened to what she was requesting. No coloring her hair, but ideas on a thick curly look? Monte grinned! "Curls are always in season. Though I do know people who would just die to have straight hair like yours." Mmhmm! Monte knew!

"I would suggest though..." He walked over to the shelves and pulled down two bottles. "If you do go with that type of hairstyle, to keep your hair long, and to not make the curls uniform." Was she following with what he was saying? "You'll still have the thick curl look, but not so much where it looks unnatural. Might have that slight natural messy look that a lot of people try to get."

Yes, Monte knew unnatural!

Monte was enjoying this Hogsmeade weekend a LOT. Meeting all these youngsters, it made him wish he was back in school again! "Hello! Welcome, welcome!" he grinned at the girl who just came inside his shop, resisting the temptation to be a little too over dramatic with his greeting using large hand gestures. Oh! What marvelous red hair. "What can I do for you on this fine day?"

It might've taken a moment or so before Monte noticed the QUIET person sitting down on the one the comfortable chairs, but when he did...

"Hello!" Miss Quiet! He was talking to yooouuu. Monte even made his way over to her a little bit, just so she knew it was in fact HER he was talking to. Mmhmmm. "I'm Monte Bossa, but you can just call me Monte. Is there anything I can help you with today?"

"I would like to have my hair dyed a strawberry blonde color, please," Emmanuelle answered smiling brightly at the shopkeeper. Merlin, she hoped it wouldn't cost too much, 'cause she had yet to visit the candy shop. Needed some money for that, obviously. Or else, it would be no candy for her.

Pretty much engrossed in the magazines, Nora jumped a little when someone greeted her, rather cheerfully. Looking up, she saw a very BLUE man, but she liked his style! See, she had a bit of green in her hair. It still couldn't be compared to the whole blue look, but -

... blehh.

"Hello, Sir," Nora said with a BIG grin. "Yes!" He COULD help her, actually. "Can you make my hair curly? I mean... not curly curly," because she didn't want to end up with an... afro. "Just wavy?"
