Minerva wondered when Damon was going to finally tell Taylor would it be before or after this picnic. It was suppose to be before the feast. "The lake is a perfect place, last term Justin had one for me for my birthday. It was a great day.'

"That's cool." Ronnie said, feeling a bit sorry for Andrew. His first day and all these.....scary things coming out of nowhere. Poor guy. "I'm a fourth year..." she replied, looking at him as he looked around frantically. "It's okay, Andrew. Look," she said, pointing at each house table, and then the staff table. "We have grown ups here to protect you if anything goes wrong, and many older students who know a good amount of spells. You'll be safe. I promise." she said, taking his hand in hers and giving it a squeeze. Strange how she could meet someone and start feeling as if they were her younger brother.

Andrew felt secure. But deep down in his gut he knew none of those things could protect them of the evil that could be upon us. "I just cant believe that the eyes could be anywhere. They could be watching us even at night watching....always..............watching......" Andrew felt queasy.

"Well nothing should ruin it." except for Damon she thought. "You two will have a blast. I can't wait to just go walk around outside."

Minerva smiled "Oh you will have a great time. You two are very cute together. How is the parent thing going, any better?"

Minerva smiled "Well it will get better. You are now away from it, so that will help."

Minerva laughed a bit "Oh I don't think I'm that amazing, but thanks. I only speak the truth." she shrugged why can't Damon think I'm that great she thought.

Minerva blushed she always took complements hard. "Taylor can I tell you something.." she was trying to keep her voice steady..

Minerva looked down a little nervous, "Taylor I wasn't coming back to school this term. After my family last term, I just couldn't even think about it. Then with the not so great company I have at home I was thinking about moving to my grandparents in America and being a normal well I mean just a muggle." she looked back at Taylor "If I wouldn't have met you guys, I don't know where I would be right now..Thank you for this summer and being a great friend."

Minerva laughed "I guess we have all helped each other in some ways. I just hope I didn't screw up." she glanced towards the puff table wondering where Damon had went. She chuckled a bit 'If you ask Harvey he would tell you that I am not the same person with you guys as I use to be. I was starting to become a very hateful person when I got back last term.. I'm glad you three changed that." she smiled as her eyes filled a bit. "Okay I'm done being sappy now.' she laughed. "Glad the boys weren't here for this."

Nerida looked around and saw her friend Tay, she said Hey Tay! How have you been? How was your summer? It was great to be back at Hogwarts she couldnt wait to talk to her friends!

Minerva searched the table again, but still didn't see him. "So it was neat seeing his real hair color today. I'm not sure I could handle seeing it all the time. He is super cute like that, but that's not the Damon I met and know, plus the black hair brings out his green eyes." she blushed talking like that. She just really had Harvey, so girl talk wasn't something that happened much.

Nerida smiled and said Thats good, my summer was good as well, did you go anywhere? She scooted over so she was closer to Tay so she didnt have to strain her neck.

"Wait?? He made his eyes brown? Why would he ever do that. I love his green eyes." she giggled, she couldn't believe she was admitting all of this. She knew Taylor knew she liked Damon, but they never really sat and talked about things she liked about him.

Nerida said Wow, thats really cool! How was New York, Ive never been! I went to Japan, Australia, and Switzerland and Alaska, and of course at my house and my godmothers house. It was really fun!
