The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

Nigel walks to the Ravenclaw table looking at all the amazing things around him in the Great Hall. This was his first Start of Term Feast. He starts think about food since he forgot to get snacks on the train and wondering how good the food is here.Sitting down at his table he starts to wait for others to join him.

Ameliah entered with Harvey, grasping his hand. She turned to him. "Guess plans were averted, do you want to go sit with everyone else and talk a while before we shock them?"

Nate nearly sprinted into the Great Hall, sitting down at the Ravenclaw table and leaving ample space around him for Pam, Jez, and Jordan--who would be most likely spending his time with the Ravvie trio due to the events of the summer--to come and sit down. "Alright, back at school!" he yelled happily, almost howling to the moon. He wasn't sure quite why, but he felt great about being at school. Maybe because it meant nine months of not being hunted down by an evil, elite assassin team? Yeah, that was probably it.

Violet skipped along to the Ravenclaw table. She didn't need to be sorted this year, and it was nice to just come to sit there by some new Ravenclaws. She turned to the two students that were by the table. "Hi! I'm Violet. Nice to meet you all." Violet put her hand out for a handshake or high five from them. "Can't you guys wait until the new school term and the food that's going to come. I am absolutely starving right now!" She smiled really cheerful to them.

Violet was going to try her best to ignore Maxwell from now on since her quick break up with him. She glanced over at the Gryffindor table. Nope, he will never say hello to her ever again from that incident with her mysterious memory loss

Ameliah couldn't help but let her mouth drop. "TAY? OHMIGOSH I LOVE YOUR NEW HAIR!!!!!!!!!!" she squealed. "Minnie's work, I assume?"

Nigel smiles, looks at Violet and high fives her."Hi I'm Nigel and same here i am starving too, i forgot to get food on the train"

Ameliah grinned. "Definently. We were talking at your party and thought of starting a buisiness together, changing hair and eye color." she laughed.

Violet looked over across the table and saw another boy sitting down. So many people she could make friends with! "Hi there! I'm Violet and welcome back to Hogwarts." She gave a small smile to him. "Aren't you excited for the food that's going to come? I'm starving. Oh sorry for talking so much. I'm just so jumpy on the first day back." Violet gave her hand to the boy as a friendly gesture of a handshake. As she looked at him, he reminded her of Maxwell, but she shook the thought out of her head. Maybe boys were too early for her right now. Violet then dropped her hand and looked down at the bench.

Ameliah grinned. "Well, me and Harvey were gonna go to the Puff table, feel free to come." they needed an audience if the plan was going to work.... she gave her sister a quick hug before moving to the other table.

Marie sat down next to Damon. "Hey how are you?"

Ellie kept her head down as she dragged her feet toward the Ravenclaw table, knowing the path by heart, where she clumsily slumped into a seat. Facing away from the Hufflepuff one. Otherwise, she'd probably be scanning it the entire night, searching for something that wasn't going to show.

Bunny, she treated much more carefully, setting the small pet carrier she was in between her own plate, and the one of whoever sat beside her.

Hopefully they'd be alright having a bunny there. Or else they'd just have to deal with it. Because Ellie was a scary seventh year now and wasn't afraid to just do whatever she wanted, regardless of the younger ones' thoughts. She wasn't in the mood to care anyway.

Or, said person could just re-locate themselves.

Point is, Bunny was staying right where she was.

Lily hustled into the great hall, yawning. She had gotten her own compartment on the train somehow and had decided to take a quick nap so that she would be ready for the long night. As she walked in, she took a deep breath and smiled. She was home.

The only difference was that now she knew exactly where to sit and was preparing to see the sorting from the other side. So she made her way down to the Ravenclaw table, looked around and took a seat. Now that she was here, you could see that she was definitely excited for the new year.
