Evelyn entered the common room...FINALLY.

After a rather interesting train journey and an awkward conversation with Lewis and Keefer, she was in the common room. YAY. She immediately made her way to the couch next to the fireplace and plonked down, before resting her head against the back of her seat. It felt she was home again. She was a little upset about the fact that she wasn't going to see Trey around this year though. Yeah, she'll miss him..a little. Anyway.

The seventh year stared at the fireplace with a small smile on her face. Yep. She was quite excited for classes to start.

Minerva felt like she ran to her comfy chair and dove into it. "It's good to be back" she said to no one, but she knew what was going on out in the castle somewhere and she felt so nervous about it. She curled up in her chair and pulled out her two way mirror setting it on the table beside her so she could see if there was movement. Resting her head she closed her eyes it had been such a long day.

Nate walked up to the hufflepuff common room. He looked around to see that he was the third one up there. He took a deep breath as he entered. I'm so glad to be back here in the common room. Nate thought. He looked around. He immediatly went over to the fire, and sat down in front of it. He couldn't wait until classes started. Espeicially with two new teachers. He was wondering what the new charms teacher would be like. He just sat down in a casual position facing towards the door to see who else would enter.

Alyssa quickly entered the Common Room and checked to see whether Oakey had beaten her there first. She grinned when she didn't see him at all. She had won her bet!! There was no way that he could have already gone up to the boy's dormitory. All she needed to do now was to figure out what she would ask as a prize for winning. While she waited for him to show up, she made her way to the couch and noticed their House Prefect sitting there.

Alyssa had intended on saying hi and congratulating her on being picked House Prefect but never had the opportunity to do so, but figured that now was a good time as any. "Excuse me, do you mind if I join you here on the couch. My name's Alyssa but everyone calls me Lyssie. I never did get the chance to congratulate you on being made Prefect." Alyssa stuck out her hand to the older girl.

Evelyn continued to stare at the fireplace..when she heard someone enter the common room. She turned to find one of the younger hufflepuffs. She just gave the girl a smile and was about to turn towards the fireplace again when..she noticed that the girl was walking towards her.

OH. "Not at all." Evelyn said, nodding towards the seat. It wasn't like she was busy or anything..and it would be nice to talk to the younger Badgers. She hadn't met a lot of them. "I've Evelyn and you can call me Eve. Nice to meet you Lyssie." She smiled again before she shook the girl's hand. "That's alright. Thank you."

Nate was watching to see the people come in when he remebered he had drumsticks in his backpack. So he reached in his backpack, and took them out. He then started to tap the ground with them. He would at least try to entertain people as they walked in. He might as well sing to if he was going to drum a tune. So he reached in his backpack, and grabbed a notebook. He flipped through the pages until he found a song. He then started to sing in soft voice "I tried playing it cool. But when I'm looking at you. I can never be brave. Cause you make my heart race."

Damon walked into the commonroom. He sighed, she knew she didn't feel the same way... Knew she was going to turn him down... So why was he so upset? When he knew exactly what was going to happen... He looked over and saw Minerva. He walked to her and sat down, knowing he had to look a mess. His hair messed up and his nose twisted slightly from where Maxwell had punched him, "Told you she'd say no."

Apologies for taking so long to get back to you.
 

Alyssa shook Eve's hand. "It really is cool to finallly get a chance to talk with you. Treyen was a great Head Boy and Prefect for our house and I'm sure that you'll be just as awesome. It's weird how I haven't been able to talk with you in the last two terms I've been here. I guess I've been too involved in classes and Quidditch. I hope to be able to get to know more Badgers this year."Alyssa told the older girl.

Louise walked into the common room it had been a long but good day she was happy to be back

As Alyssa was talking with Eve, she noticed Louise walk in to the common room and she called out to her,"Hi Louise, glad to see you back here in Hogwarts. How's things with you?"

Alyssa quickly turned back to Eve when she realized belatedly that she had not excused herself before calling out to Louise. "I'm sorry that was really rude of me to do that. I just wanted to make sure I said hi to Louise before she got lost in the crowd of the others coming in." Alyssa apologized to the older girl. She hoped that their Prefect didn't think that she was rude.

When Messer entered the Hufflepuff common room, he was greeted by a homey feeling. Its good to be back. He went toward one of the empty couch. How he missed the Hufflepuff couch. Its the best couch ever! Maybe he need to persuade Mummy badger so he could bring one of the couches home.

He was lost on his own little 'couch' world that he almost didn't see his current female prefect and Lyss sitting not to far from him. "Hello, Lyss. Ready for the new term?" he asked the older Hufflepuff. Then Messer eyes went to the new Arya which Keefer said that her name is Evelyn or something. "Hello new prefect." he greeted her with a smile. "I'm Messer. Congratulation on the badge."

Evelyn looked slightly amused at the girl's excitement. "Thank you, Lyssie. That's nice of you to say." Evelyn said with a smile. Yeah, Trey was great but if she'll be as good as him...that remained to be seen. "Me too." She was planning on meeting new Badgers as well. "What year are you in?" Evelyn asked curiously?

Evelyn smiled when Lyssie turned to greet someone...when she started to apologize? Erm. Why? "That wasn't rude at all..and there's definitely no need to say sorry." Evelyn reassured the girl, still a little confused but she just let it go.

Evelyn turned to find a young boy who congratulated her. She gave a wide smile before she said, "Thank you. Erm..I've Evelyn, by the way." Evelyn said, extending her hand, the smile still present on her face. She was quite excited to meet the youngsters.

Minerva must have dozed off in her chair, but awoke as soon as she heard the voice. She opened her eyes and turned her head, once seeing Damon she sat up quickly. "Oh Damon, your nose..I'm going to..." she moved past then when it registered what he said her mouth went into a frown, but the rest of her face a bit of shock. "Oh she did? Damon I'm so sorry.." she put her arms around him trying to comfort him. "Want to talk about it?" her mind raced trying to figure out away to help him that didn't involved doing something to irritate Maxwell for breaking his poor nose.

Laura was bored, she really wished she could think of something fun to do but what, then it came to her, but would she get into too much trouble for doing it, well if she did she didn't care, but how would she do it though, and could she trust someone to help her, maybe Minerva would help if she asked her, but she was taking to someone who Laura didn't know.

Minerva got up without even thinking. It hadn't even crossed her mind yet that this could be good things in the future between them. Friend mode had kicked in and her thoughts were at his poor nose and helping him get through this. "Where do you want to go?" She grabbed her bag throwing her mirror back into it. "Hope you didn't try to get me with the mirror, I guess I fell asleep."

Minerva came back into the common room. She was about to head to her room when she saw Laura. "Hey Laura what are you up to? So you didn't get me in any trouble for your hair did you?" a smirk across her face.

Laura smiled, "No I didn't say who did it I just said it was a friend." Laura had suddenly decided what she was going to do. "I think i'll go into the corridor and check something." Laura looked at Minerva trying not to giggle and then left the room.

He sighed, "Anywhere besides here." He really couldn't talk about it infront of all these people, so he stood leading her to the exit.

Minerva breathed a little easier, she didn't want to care about points this term or de..she shook her head not being able to say the word, maybe she hadn't changed as much as she hoped. Then Laura left, "Okay." she stood standing there..

Minerva followed Damon out the door.

She saw a girl say hi to her "yeah I am good happy to be back at Hogwarts, how was your summer" she smiled at the girl, she then saw a girl next to her "hi my name is Louise 3 year, it is nice to meet you" she put out her hand for her to shook,

Minerva walked back into the common room and found her favorite chair off to the side near the fireplace. She tossed her bag to the side and sat down pulling at the hand she was holding so he would sit right next to her.

Ella entered the common room and plopped down on the sofa with a happy sigh. The term was already in full swing and there was a lot to look forward to like classes and friends and maybe Quidditch if all went to plan. The second year looked around and smiled. Yup, it was good to be back.

Damon followed her in and chuckled as she pulled on his hand. He took a seat next to her wrapping his arm around her.

"See nice and comfy." she smiled wrinkling her nose a little. "Ash, if you still want to talk about things, I'm still listening." she still really didn't know what all happened other then she said no and Maxwell hit him, but she wasn't going to come right out and ask. She was happy, but at the same time still worried about him.

Damon shrugged, "There's nothing much else to it. I told her, stupidly kissed her, then ran. Maxwell followed me, I woke up laying on the ground with a broken nose, and Taylor found me, we talked about everything. Then I came and found you." He smiled, "And here we are."

Minerva shuddered at the laying on the floor with a broken nose part."I think I'm going to have a little talk with him tomorrow." she said in a low voice. She then looked up at him touching the side of his face with her hand. "Well I think I fixed your nose, does it still hurt?" she thought about giving it a kiss, but didn't want to push it to much in one night.

Damon shook his head, "Don't be mad at him. I was asking for it. I did do what I did with him standing next to her..." He smiled and shook his head, "No, it's feeling much better now." He sighed.

"No you did not deserve a broken nose." she frowned, but then gave a little smile "At least you found a girl that is good with her wand, and not just to change hair color."

He wasn't going to argue, maybe Maxwell had gone a little overboard... but he couldn't remember any of it. So he chuckled at what she said next, "So be honest, which do you like better? Damon or Ash?"

Minerva smiled "Honestly, I like both. I have met Ash last term, got to know him, fell for him, but Damon is pretty cute as well." she shrugged "I think you are pretty great no matter which way you want to look." this time she did take the chance and gave him a little kiss.

Damon chuckled, kissing her back, "Well, I'm flattered." He smiled at her, "To know that both my looks work out... Though, I'm going to stick with Ash for a while."

Minerva smiled and cuddle up next to him.what "Well if your going to keep that look, my I suggest adding the eyes back again." she didn't know if he forgot that he took the liner off. "Ash you be whomever you want to be. I'm not going anywhere no matter which way you look."

He smiled, "I like being Ash, honestly. I'm more comfortable and I feel more like my own person. While with my red hair I always feel like I'm just a younger Puck." He shrugged.

Minerva looked at him. "Well I don't see Puck when I see you either way. I just see you." then she laid her head on his shoulder again. "Why do you and Puck not get along, I know what he did with Taylor, but you told me before you weren't very close. Why is that?" she hoped she wasn't pushing to much for one night.

He shrugged, "We never were close. He wanted me to be a fighter, not a lover." He sighed, "He taught me how to get away from the dangers of the woods; always insisted that I'd learn to fight. Naturally, I refused everytime he'd bring it up. I have no reason to fight. I'm just a quiet teenage boy... There's no reason for me to know to fight." He shrugged, "And that never settled with him."

Minerva wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. "Well I don't know about wizards, but there is always been something about muggle dad's wanting their son's being fighters and stuff. So maybe it's the same thing, but I don't think it matters what you are. Puck loves you, that I can even see. He must have his reasons even if they are a bit different."

"Love is a very strong word to use with my father." He sighed, "He's honestly never told me he loves me... I never heard him tell Mom he loved her. I've seen him being lovey with Chelle, but I've never heard him say he loved her except at the wedding."

Minerva sighed "I don't want to upset you over this." she hugged a little tighter, afraid that she might be dreaming that this all happened. "So what's your class schedule look like in the morning?"

Damon looked at her, "You didn't upset me; but divination is my first class."

Minerva sat up. "Well I think you have been through enough tonight." she yawned and looked at the time. "Divinations is my first class as well. Want to walk together?" she kissed his cheek, "I do think we should call it a night, and get a good rest for classes. What do you think?"

He nodded in agreement, "Sure." He smiled kissing her forehead lightly, "I'll see you in the morning."

Alyssa smiled when she saw her Quidditch team mate. "Hey Messer what's up. The new term? To be honest. No. I have a feeling that for some reason, I won't be working as hard as I used to the last two terms. So you guys will have to work harder to keep the House Cup here in our House."Alyssa grinned at the younger boy.



Alyssa then turned back to Eve. "Oh I'm in 4th year. Don't let my height deceive you. I'm just tall for my age. Inside here," Alyssa said pointing to her head, "I'm still a 14 year old but will be turning 15 in November." Alyssa frowned when she realized what she had said. Who cared when her birthday was? No one cared last term and no one will this year. Alyssa sighed. 'That's one of the things that will never change around here. My birthday will be like any other day here in Hogwarts.'Alyssa thought to herself sadly.



Alyssa laughed because for some reason she suspected Louise had forgotten who she was...which was nothing new...again. "Glad to hear that you're happy to be back in Hogwarts. My summer was okay." Alyssa lied answering that last question. Her summer had been a really bad one and from what she could see so far, it wasn't going to get better.

Messer wants me to tell Evelyn that he's not a youngsters *shifty*
 

"Nice to meet you Evelyn." Messer shook the prefect' hand. "What year are you in, Miss Prefect?" Its really weird that he didn't know his female prefect before. She seem like a sixth or seventh year because she's really tall. Even though the older girl was sitting Messer could tell that she's tall. "You're very tall. I want to be as tall as you when I'm grew up."

The Hufflepuff raised his eyebrows. "Why? You're the highest point earner in hufflepuff. We couldn't win the cup without you." Did Alyssa really serious about that? He hoped not. "I'm not as clever as you though. So I think I'm not really going to be that much help." he shrugged.

Dangit! If Oakey wasn't so preocupied at the feast, he would have hopped from his seat and darted to the common room. The Feast's food and the company was great though.

But he had to win the bet he made with Alyssa! Coming through the entrance he spotted Alyssa, she made it already! MERLIN, does she know that I haven't left the feast, or can I sneak past her.... Good plan! If I sneak to the Boy's Dormitory and come out of it like I've been in there the whole time waiting.

As stealthy as he could be Oakey crouched down and ducked behind table, couches, and chairs until he slipped into the Boy's Dorm.

Finely came into the common room looking for a place to sit down. He was slightly tired, he didn't sleep well last night, but there wasn't really a good explination as to why. He sat down in an empty chair and looked around the common room to see if anyone he recgonized was there.

Nope, no one, he settled in to his chair to red a good book, well, okay, this one he was ready wasn't that great, but once he started a book he couldn't stop untill it was finished.

Minerva had ran up to the dorm and grabbed bouncers as well as ditch her robes. She would have liked to get her pj pants on and a big tshirt, but still wanted to look cute for Damon. So she instead threw on some comfy jeans and a nicer purple shirt. She walked back to the common room with bouncer on her shoulder and some chips and two pop's in her hands. Sitting down in her favorite chair she waited for Damon to join her. She felt bouncers leave her shoulder for a spot on the chair above her head. She leaned back and closed her eyes, still having a bit of a headache that came at the pond.

Oakey waited in the Boys Dorm for a good fifteen minutes before deciding to come out. Claiming his victory over Alyssa in making it to the Common Room before she did. He had to sneak past her as she had beaten him here, but she didn't catch him. Sooooooo, she wouldn't know right. Hey Alyssa, What took you so long. he lied with a smile. I've been waiting for you to get here. He lied some more. Guess I win the bet this time too.

Alyssa laughed. "Hah!...sure you did, Oakey. I've been sitting here all this time and I saw you sneak in even though you thought I wasn't looking. So unless I was invisible all this time and you couldn't see me, I believe that I won the bet." Alyssa finished the last four words in a sing song fashion.

"So all we need to figure out now is what I win. Any suggestions?" she asked grinning at him.

What! So Oakey just looked like a fool as he stealthed his way around the Common Room to avoid sight! Now Alyssa was rubbing it in too...in song no less. Why didn't you just say something? Oakey spoke back. If she saw him she could have won it there and then. How about the winner let the losser off easy, and they forget that the bet was ever made. OPakey shot a smile back at her. Really if you were going to win a bet don't let the loser chose his punishment.

NAte saw that his entertainment wasn't working so he looked around. Then he saw that Oakey finally made it at last. So he walked very stealthy the other way. Then when he was far enough from Oakey he moved farther back towars the boys dorm. Then he started to walk towards Oakey's back. He did the don't say anything sign to Alyssa. Then he suddenly said "Glad to see you finally made it Oakey. Oh and I overheard your conversation. So I have a suggestion. How about the loser (aka Oakey) has to do whatever the winner says for the next two weeks." That should startle Oakey, and give Alyssa a good idea. So it's a win-win. Except on Oakey's part then it would be a lose-lose. There really was no good benefit to him.

Alyssa laughed. "The only reason I didn't say anything was because I wanted to see whether you would acknowledge that I had won. Sneaky sneaky....and no I'm not going to forget that we made the bet because the next time we do, and you win, I don't think that you'll do the same for me. Soooooo....no I'm not giving you a choice of what you want to have to but since I'm in a generous mood....not that I'm never in one, I'll make it an easy one. Let me think."



Alyssa grinned when she saw Nate approach from behind Oakey and then give his suggestion on what the loser had to do. "Oh wow! That's a great idea. Oakey has to do anything I say for the next two weeks. That sounds like a good idea. Except I did say I'll be easy on you. So let's see, I know you attend classes. So how about you be my partner in classes that we're both in if there's a need for a partner. Does that sound fair enough? You are allowed to bargain."Alyssa smiled.

As Bear enters the room he looks like he was approaching a dragon. A girl dragon. With a mixture of fear and shyness he aproached Oakey. After a few seconds of staring at his feet, he start to stutter: "Are you.. are yo.. you the χeadboy of χufflepuff?.."

Oakey gave Alyssa a pouty face. Merlin she was tough and smart.

Then he jumped up and back just enough to hit the back of the sofa and flip behind it. N-Nate! Don't sneak up on someone like that! He said breathing heavily trying to catch his breath. Oh, and that sounds like an awful idea, don't listen to him Alyssa. but it was to the seeds of evil had been planted into her brain and she had agreed to Nate's terms. (somewhat) two weeks of partnering up with Alyssa didn't sound to bad. How many classes required partnering up anyways? That sounds like a deal Oakey said lifting himself up offering a hand to Alyssa.

Oakey had just gotten himself up completely when a first year asked him a question, or what he thought was a question. He had a thick accent that was hard to read. Oakey stood and looked at him for a moment. xeadboy...xufflepuff? ...Huh? me I'm no where near Headboy Material. Let alone being a Prefect for my house. Oakey wasn't even sure who the Headboy was this term, Last year it was easy because the Headboy was a Hufflepuff. I think you're looking for Lewis? Right, Lewis was the new Hufflepuff Prefect. I'm not sure where he is right now.

Bear blushed hard. "Sorry, i dident meant to bother you."

Hmm, No worries. Oakey said back with a smile. I wasn't bothered at all. I'm Oakey by the way. Who might you be?

Tall for her age? Evelyn couldn't help but laugh. "Me too. I'm way too tall for my age.." Ugh. She still wasn't sure if that was good thing. Hm? Birthday in november? She smiled at the younger girl. "That's great. When's your birthday?" You know, so that she could wish her and get her a present or something..She seemed a little sad though..why? She was hesitant to ask though..it was probably none of her business.

"Nice to meet you too." Evelyn smiled at Messer. Hm. Nice boy. Oh, who was she kidding? Badgers were nice. "I'm a seventh year. How about you?" Erm. Her smile faded a little when she noticed the kid staring at her..huh? He wanted to be as tall as her? She burst out laughing. "I'm sure you'll be taller than me." Evelyn nodded, the smile still present on her face.

"Bear is my name. Nice to meet you.. I need .. i can't say where to get my scadule. And where to find all the .. I am lost to be χonest." He blushes even harder and stares at his feet.

You got your daily dose of scaring people now Hmm? Oakey gave Nate a just as evil smile as Nate gave him. I'll just have to return the favor then won't I? Or, maybe not. That complement was to nice, to scare Nate out of his pants. Stop Nate, you're making me blush. Oakey joked.

Bear? That's such a cool name. and he was lost? Well it's a good thing you've found your way back to your Common Room and not down in the Dungeon with the Slytherins. He looked around a bit to see if he could figure out a way for Bear to navigate himself around Hogwarts successfully, but nothing came to mind. Oakey was just as lost as Bear was in his first year, but the Prefects and Teachers were always so kind as to help him find his way around. I'm sure one of our Prefects will pop in here any moment. or maybe one was here now and Oakey didn't know it...just no more surprises for him, thank you. If not, Professor Hadley isn't to far from here. Her Office is in the Arithmancy classroom on the second floor. She can definitely help

" Can you show me where it is?" Bear was rising his gaze to Oakeys chin, looking a littlebit more happy than before.

Alyssa was about to shake his hands when she realized that 3 classes had already started. So she said,"Wait a minute, we can't count this week, since classes have already started. We start counting next week and it's for the next 2 months"Alyssa grinned, hoping that he didn't notice that she had changed the duration of the bet.

Oakey looked at Bear with puzzlement. Was this boy truly that prone to getting lost? Oakey looked around the common room, was there truly no Prefects here that could help Bear or perhaps take Bear to see Hadley themselves. I-uh-I can...I guess. Oakey responded, Do you wanna go now or is there something else you need to do first?

Oakey looked around the Common Room once more. If there weren't any Prefects in here at all, Oakey wouldn't mind playing "Hot Lava" with the Furniture for a while. He may even be able to charm the floor to be hot to the touch for an extra effect.
Two-Two months of Partnering up with Alyssa! But what of Oakey's other friends? What of Zeke, and Mordy. Won't they want to Partner up with him? He had a choice though, which is odd for someone on the loosing side of the bet. One month he demanded.

"Two months. Remember I'm the winner. I get to pick the prize! ." Alyssa insisted, but then she realized that she was being unfair to Oakey. She knew that if he had a choice, he wouldn't want to partner her at all. Who would. 'Nobody ever wants to partner up with me and I shouldn't be forcing him to do something he wouldn't normally want to do.," Alyssa thought to herself.

"You know what? Never mind. I release you of your obligations. You don't have to do anything. " Alyssa told him sadly. She turned away because she didn't want him to see her tearing up.

Huh?...He was...free...but..that's not how bets work...she was very kind, kinder than Oakey. Oakey would have upped the months if he was on the winning side of the bet. I can't Oakey said, we made a bet. If you let me go free then I must demand that you have me do something you. He moved himself to her front and saw that she had tears forming, WHAT! Really? What had he done? Why are girls so sensitive about everything? Fine Two Months, Two Months. I'll be your partner. I swear it. He gave her a nice a smile as he possible could.

Alyssa smiled sadly at him. "It's okay Oakey. You don't have to do that. I told you that I release you from your obligations. Friends should not make friends do things they don't want to do, and I know that you wouldn't normally partner me if you had a choice of someone else. So it's okay, you don't have to be my partner. It's just that I have always had problems finding partners during class assignments. But it's okay, when there's a need for one, I'll do what I always do, ask around and hope that someone is willing to partner with me." Alyssa told him.

"Yes.. i can wait χere." He says, blush and walks off into a corner to sit on a chair, gazing onto his hands.

No, no, no, no ,no! But the bet!. Despite his losing it, a bet was a bet. He had to follow through with it.I never said I didn't want to partner up with you. Where did Alyssa get the idea that he didn't want to partner up with her. All he said was "One Month". Does "One Month" have a secret meaning for girls like, I hate you, go away or you're ugly .

He was just testing the waters. He really doesn't mind if Mordy or Zeke can't partner up with him, they can partner up with each other for the next two months. There problem solved, everybody's happy. Alyssa I do want to be your partner for two months! I do, I do, I do!

Why are girls so hard to understand. Oakey hopes he never has to find out, it'll probably hurt...a lot.

Alyssa sadly looked up at Oakey. "I really mean it. You really don't have to it."Alyssa told him. But he was insistent. 'Great I just made him feel guilty now. Great friend you are, Lyssie'Alyssa silently admonished herself.

She sighed, "Oakey, like I said you really don't have to but if you want to it is fine with me, but I don't want you doing it because I asked you to do it because you lost the best. I treasure your friendship then something stupid class assignment. You do what you feel you want to do. I won't be disappointed if someone else asks you to partner up with them and you want to, okay?"Alyssa finished.

At first he was afraid that the new prefect is a very strict person but she seems pretty nice. Maybe they could be friend or maybe she could be his new ice cream buddies! That would be nice.

"I'm a second year." he said proudly. Yes people he's not a first year anymore. It feels really good to say second year. "Seventh year? That mean this year you'll be graduate then?" And they gonna have a new female prefect again next term. Hmph.. "How you feel to be graduate soon from Hogwarts?" he asked.

Messer raised his eyebrows when he heard Evelyn laugh. What? What seem so funny? "I'm counting on it."

Bear gets up and takes a look at the study tables.

Ella walking into the common room carrying Barnabus the pygmy puff carefully in her hands. The second year was quite angry at her pet, not understanding why his behavior was suddenly so...wild. Finding an empty chair, Ella plopped herself down with a sigh. FROWN. "Barny, why do you insist on running away? Don't you like it here anymore?" She sat back and waited for the reply she knew wouldn't come. All Barny did was blink at her several times and get all snuggly in the palm of her hands. Sure, now he wanted to be with her...

Minerva walked down from the girls dorm, she had placed all her books on her bed and changed her clothes for the first gobestone match of term. She was getting nervous and it showed all over her face. She hadn't practiced as much as she should have over the summer. She was to busy having google eyes over.. Oh speak of the devil she smiled and walked up behind him. She put her arms around him and hugged him from behind. "Hello there.. How's your day been I haven't seen you that much." she let go to walk around him when she saw Grim, "Hey Grimalkin not have a nice day are we?" She reached to pet him, but wasn't sure if she would get his bad mood as well.

Damon jumped slightly when someone hugged, "Dangit what have I told you about doing that Tay… Minnie!" He turned to look at her, "I did not mean that!" He looked at Grim who purred at Minerva, "Great, you like your owner less than his girlfriend... I feel loved."

Minerva flinched when he jumped, she completely forgot about the touching issue since he had been so comfortable with her now. She didn't think about surprising him. She heard loud and clear his slip up.. Thought they were to mad to even talk so why would she be coming up behind him. Plus, they were in their common room.. She decided to just pretend she didn't hear Taylor's name. She frowned a bit "You didn't mean to do what?" she said as she still faced the cat. "Oh Grim likes you, he just is being friendly that's all. Aren't you Grim." she pet the purring cat. "So your in the common room I was a bit surprised."

Damon sighed, "You know what..." He shook his head. He was being stupid again. They were in the common room, why would Taylor be in there? Grim purred even more when she pet him. "Nope, he hates me because I left him in his cage so he wouldn't get into any trouble."

Oakey then decided, making bets with Alyssa weren't the best idea. He'll avoid those with her. I-uh, treasure our friendship too? Oakey said almost as if it were a question. He really did treasure each of his friendships, he was in Hufflepuff after all. It just seemed to him that Alyssa meant it more than a friendship.
Oakey's face suddenly got red and heated again. I-I Have to go uh take a shower...I think, and I need to take my cat to Williamson! Oakey lied to get out of the common room as quickly as possible so he could dunk his head in a sink of cool water. WHY WAS HIS FACE SO RED AGAIN!

Minerva just smiled and wrinkled her nose "i Do not know what.." she then sat down in a chair and picked up Grim putting him in her lap. Petting the cat was easing her nerves a bit. She was forgetting the upcoming match she was about to play. "So how's your day been dear." She looked back down to Grim and continued to pet him. "Oh he doesn't hate you, but do you really think he would get into that much trouble if he was left out of his cage?" how much trouble could one cat get into, she didn't think he could get into to much he was a pretty nice cat from what she could see, but then again he did look at bouncers like he was going to have a snack.

Alyssa saw Oakey's face turn red. Had she said something wrong? Before she could even say another word, Oakey was making excuses to leave. 'Now he's even embarassed to be seen with me.' Alyssa thought to herself sadly.

"Uh okay. I'll see you when I see you." Alyssa said goodbye to him. Even though she said that, she suspected that this would be the last that she would see of Oakey. He would be avoiding her like the plague from now on.

"He'd send some poor soul to the nurses." He sighed, raking one hair through his dark hair, "Min... What would you say if hypothetically Taylor and I were still close... Like as close as we were before I told her... What I told her."

Minerva looked up at him a little confused. Why was he asking that, she had seen them yelling at each other and just being completely mean away from each other. So what brought that up, she shrugged. "I would think it would be great, then we could maybe move on from this drama and finally get to hangout all four of us together." He seemed nervous all the sudden, she took a deep breath and was get ready for him to tell her they were over or something, she just got that feeling all of the sudden hoping that wasn't it.

Damon sighed looking at her, "You wouldn't be mad at me? Or her? Or... try to tell us that we can't talk like we used to?"

Minerva looked at him a little offended why on earth would she care if they were friends again. Unless they both had feelings for each other or something, but that was crazy she turned him down so she didn't like him like that. "Why would I be upset, you were best friends before me, so why can't you be best friends after me. Unless there is something more to it, then I don't see what the big deal is. Harvey and I are still as close as we have always been, does that bother you?" He never acted like he cared, but maybe he did and she didn't know. "Damon just come out with it, what are you trying to get at? Second thoughts on us, on Taylor? Have you to talked and worked things out? If we are going to be together you need to be completely honest with me and trust me. I trust you completely."

Damon looked at her, rather hurt. "Of course I don't have a problem with Harvey!" He sighed listening to her... She'd guessed it, "Of course I'm not having second thoughts on you. But you were right. The third option... We ran into each other outside one day and we made up... The whole argument you heard between us at the pond was all staged. We were both thinking that if you and Maxwell would be upset and there would be a lot of new rules over us and... we were just worried about what would happen if you knew the truth." He sighed and looked at her, "But we'rejustfriends still, like how it was beforehand."

Minerva didn't show any emotion either way. She just kept petting Grim. She was super hurt by the fact that he didn't trust her enough to know she wouldn't care, she never cared before so what would be the difference now. She even dealt with him liking her when he knew that Minerva liked him. She looked passed all of that and still he didn't think he could trust her enough to tell her. They actually faked an argument and liked to their boyfriend and girlfriend, she was shocked a bit as well as hurt, but she wasn't going to let on any of that. "Well I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't care if you two are friends, it didn't bother me before when I liked you knowing you were her friend so why would I care now. Like I said I trust you. I know you won't hurt me at least you won't mean to. No one is perfect." she looked down at Grim trying to get her thoughts together.

He looked at her and sighed, "I'm sorry Min... we just didn't knownwhat you would say and we have a decent idea of what Maxwell would say. I mean, you heard how he was when Taylor accidentally did a few things that were 'to polite'... I do and to say this though Min... I have no intention of leaving you just because we're talking."

Minerva sighed and motioned for him to sit next to her. She looked at his eyes, wishing for the green ones, but brown would have to do. "Damon, he doesn't care that your friends anymore. He trust Taylor. Him and I hang out a lot. I help him with his research and we talk a lot about things. He has been trying to help me come up with a plan to get you two back to being friends and all along we were planning for nothing, because you already were friends again." that was a little annoying, but at least they were friends again. "He got upset, because you to faking it, acting mad when your not.. well honestly makes you look guilty for more then just that. I'm not saying I dont' trust you, because I do trust you and if you say your just friends then I believe it, but look at it through his eyes, she is saying she hates you, but doesn't and lying about it. There could be room for suspicion. That's why its so important for you to please just be honest with me so then there is no room at all for doubt. Even if it comes a time you don't want this anymore, just tell me, don't hide it." she gave him a weak smile to show that she wasn't mad or upset.

[COLOR="Navy"]He sighed, sitting next to her wrapping his arm around her, "I'm sorry Minnie, but I promise you there isn't anything between us." At least not yet... Sh e did admit she loved me back, but Min. doesn't need that weighing down on her shoulders.

Minerva felt herself sigh and lean into him. "Ash I trust you. I just want everyone to be happy, so I am glad your friends again. Now maybe we can start moving on and enjoying being around each other as two couples instead of who loves who and what fight is coming next." she was honest at least about one thing. She wanted everyone to happy, she always did even if it meant not her own. "So is Taylor going to tell Maxwell what you have told me or are you two still going to pretend to hate each other in front of him, because I'm not a good liar." If that was the plan she wished he wouldn't have said anything because that was going to be hard for her to watch knowing it was fake in front of her friend.

Damon shrugged, "I don't know if she's telling him or not. I just felt bad for lying to you."

She didn't know if she could avoid the conversation with Maxwell and she hoped she didn't have to. Please tell him Taylor she thought. If she told him then they could all just be normal no secrets, no hidden agendas that would be the first time since meeting them that could happen. She looked at Damon and gave a small smile kissing him on the cheek. "Well I'm glad you told me. I don't want secrets from each other no matter how big. That is no way to be holding secrets from people your suppose to be closest to." she looked around the room and noticed it was very empty today. "Well see the common room isn't such a bad place. There isn't even anyone here right now."

Damon looked around and shrugged, "It's a nice day out. I sure they wanted to enjoy it."

Minerva sighed a little it had been nice out. She thought about her walking to her classes and seeing everyone out on the grounds. She pulled sparkles her lucky badger out of her pocket and played with it a bit. "Yeah your probably right. What were you doing in here all alone? Just letting out Grim or hiding from the social world?" she smiled at him teasing.

"Actually, I was about to practice the song I was telling you about earlier. I'd like to get it down."

Minerva got a big smile on her face and turned towards him. She had almost forgotten the song with thinking about classes, what Laura had gotten her into, and the Gobstone match coming up. "Oh, can I hear it?" she loss the smile "or did you change your mind on wanting me to hear it?" she was hoping he didn't, but if he did that was okay, she would understand. She looked around seeing that no one was there, maybe he would sing it. She put Grim down on the ground and moved a bit closer with a smile waiting to see.

Damon nodded, "Of course I want you to still hear it. But you'll have to excuse if I hit a wrong key. I just started learning to play." He waved his wand, a keyboard showing up in front of him, "After learning the guitar I figured it was time for another instrument." He pulled out his sheet music and started to play the song. He did hit a few wrong notes to start off with, but he overall thought his voice sounded okay for once.

Minerva sat and listened to Damon sing. She couldn't help but get a big smile on her face. This was kind of romantic, in a way she thought. If that was what romance was at least. Being thirteen she was just learning what that all was about, but this had to be. It was such a wonderful song she had never heard it before. She sat quiet with just a smile on her face the entire time. Looking very cool and calm on the outside, but on the inside she was screaming in her head. OMG, OMG he is actually singing to me, his voice is amazing, this song is amazing, and he is singing it to me.. not her.. woohoo:woot: her mind was being very loud and she had to calm it down for the song to end.

"Ash that was....amazing. You play great and your voice is wonderful. I love it, is that I song you wrote, or is it from a band?" she felt kind of dumb asking that if it was from a band, because she should have known the band if that was the case. She put her hand to his face and couldn't help but smile she leaned over and gave him a kiss. Looking him in his brown eyes "That was truly amazing."
