After reading a few chapters Justin went fishing into his bag and pulled out his iPod and went through his play list until he came to a song that was song by a muggle songstress that was quite popular back in the early 2000's. He put the ear pieces in his ears and began to mmble along with the words. " Someone like you..." he sung to himself under his breath. Depressed he picked up his book again and read along while continuing to sing in a hardly audible volume. He knew Minie had seen him walk in , but didn't even bother to say hello. |

Minerva looked at him a little disappointed, but she understood. "Yeah, that's fine. I will see you later." Her tone showed her disappointment. She got up and walked over to Justin, plopping down next to him and kicking her feet up placing them over his lap. She knew he wouldn't care and she wanted to stretch out a bit. "So what's wrong with you? I guess it's now Minnie's therapist service." Well that's how she felt today. Going from problem to problem trying to fix everything for everyone. She pulled one of the ear pads out of his ear and stuck it in hers to see what he was listening to. |

SPOILER!!: song Justin was listening to " The singer is some woman named Adele. Sometimes music helps my moods. " Justin said as he smiled over to her. It was feeling like the old times with her so comfortable relaxing accrossed him. Ever since first year this is how they hung out. It was nice having her so close again.... Although this time she was untouchable... Completely out of reach and he hated that. |

Nate walked into the common room nervously. He saw Justin talking to Minnie on the other side of the room. He took out his notebook to the pages he put down last year. He still didn't even start his story. So he walked over to Justin and said "Hi justin. How was your summer?" Nate wondered. He pulled out his quill and ink set. |

" Really, Min. It's nothing.... Not really important... a bit childish really. Well, I like her. Her music speaks to me right now... And no I haven't even bothered trying to find Ronnie. " he admitted. " And I never avoided you... You avoid me. " he retorted. " And the book is something my mother gave me just before I left home to stay at the leaky. It's a book she started to write when I was little. Every once in a while she would add to it... I think she wants me to add my own ending or something." Justin shrugged. Quote:

For Anyone Ella was positively beaming when she walked into the Hufflepuff common room. She had done it, made the quidditch team...HER! She couldn't shake the feeling that this was some kind of dream or something. Would she wake up if she was pinched? *Pinches self* "Ouch!" Nope, definitely not a dream. GRIN. Spotting an empty arm chair, the second year plopped down, looking around for familiar faces. Surely someone would want to celebrate with her, no? While she waited, the second year pulled some gummy worms from her pocket and ate them happily. |
After a hard day of analyzing Transfiguration class notes and reading about dragons, Aliza finally managed to finish her homework and believed it was now time for some reading. She strolled into the common room, scanning the room for familiar faces. She didn't really know anyone there, just a few people she spotted in her classes. Aliza walked over to a big armchair and plopped down in it. Opening her text book, she turned to the chapter on vampires. |
For anyone Jordon walked down from the boys dormitory with his guitar in hand. He walked over to the fireplace and sat down on the floor in front of it. He crossed his legs, sat the guitar in his lap, and began to play a low, soft tune. |

SPOILER!!: Jordon Ella gave Jordon a small smile as he explained you get better faster when you start young. "Yeah, I've heard something like that too." It made a little more sense that he had met people who would like to play, but just didn't have the time. That was common once classes started up. Even Ella hadn't been practicing as much as she would like. Oh, so he wasn't new...just gone for a while. "I'm sorry about your-uh family problems...I know what that's like." She said sincerely, turning to the fire again. She was sure he didn't feel like discussing those, and neither did she. The second year looked back at Jordon curiously when he said he could help her get better. "You would do that?" Cause Ella would love the help. Looking around them, she noted that he was right. The common room was pretty empty. "Alright, let me run and get my guitar up in the dormitory. I'll be back." After a few minutes, Ella returned to the fireplace with her acoustic guitar slung across her, a nervous look on her face. She sat down once again next to Jordon and smiled. "Alright, promise you won't laugh, okay. I don't write my own songs anything..." Like he did apparently. "But this is one of my dad's favorites." And with one more look around the common room, Ella began to play the song, looking down at the guitar as she went. |
Damon sighed walking in. After everything happened with Ariana it had ruined his good mood... Why was it impossible for him and Taylor to spend anytime together without there being drama? And not to mention he'd upset Minnie, which made him feel even worse. |
Aliza saw the expression on the boy's face. It was a not-so-happy look. She wondered what was troubling him but was afraid to ask since it really was none of her business. She got up from her armchair, rested the book in the seat and walked over to the boy. She didn't like seeing anyone being sad. "Hey there." She touched his shoulder. "I'm Aliza." She smiled. "Is everything ok?" |

Oscar strolled into the common room and glanced around the room. Not recognizing anyone he knew immediately, he made his way over to one of the tables and threw down his bag, his shyness once again getting the better of him. Oscar was never one to strike up a conversation, he let people come to him. |
Alec Summers!! Post 1: HoM Homework Assigment: Le Protest Alyssa quickly ran into the Hufflepuff Common room with her banners and sat down at one of the couches near the fireplace. She was going to stage a protest asking students and school staff’s support to allow everyone be allowed to enter each other’s common rooms. She was excited because she had never been involved in a protest before, and even better yet, be given permission to break the laws of the school, in order to do it. Alyssa just wished that she had somebody that she could protest with. Then she saw Alec Summers sitting in the other couch. She knew that his best friend was a Gryffindor and she suspected that if she told him her idea, he might actually want to help her. So she got up and walked to him. “Hey Alec, as part of the History of Magic homework assignment we are supposed to stage a protest or a rebellion. I’m protesting about the fact that we can’t visit our friends who belong in the other houses, in their Common Rooms. Would you like to join me? You can grab a couple of banners and do whatever you want with it. Just make sure that everyone can see it and they know what you are protesting about. Interested? Alyssa asked the 2nd year. |

When Ella returned, he looked over her guitar. It was pretty. He laughed, "I wont. Unless you mess up." He said, jokingly. He sat there watching her play. The song was pretty too. He tried strumming along with her trying to learn a new song, but when that didn't work he put his guitar down and continued to listen. |

... This was hard. He slumped in his armchair, letting his eyes flick from the banner to the wall opposite. And it was just in that instant that he heard a voice! His grey-blue eyes flicked over towards the fourth year who had just bounded up to him in the usual manner he expected from her. The presence of this girl was enough to bring a smile to his face. And what was more, she had an idea! Alec's smile turned into a grin. How perfect was this? He now had an idea of what to do for this protest! It was a great idea, as well. And it meant that he'd get the chance to work with one of his closest friends at Hogwarts. Perfection! "Yeah, sure, I'd love to work with you, Lyss!" he said, "Erm, do you need me to make any more banners?" He ruffled his hair as he looked down at the awesome banners Lyss had made. It would be unfair if they went around protesting and he had no banners to contribute at all. |

SPOILER!!: Alec "Awesome. It'll be great to work with you. And since you are so popular with everyone, especially the girls," Alyssa winked at him."I'm sure that you'll get a lot of attention. You can just make a protest sign or if not just use one of mine. I'll just leave some of them here for you." "As for me, I'm going to make my first protest in the Great Hall. I hope I don't get detention for this. Professor Scabior better not be kidding about us be allowed to break the laws." Alyssa grinned at the 2nd year, "Because I'm definitely going to be breaking a whole bunch of them." "If you see me back here alive and no one is chasing after me, then you'll know that I succeeded. Wish me luck." Alyssa told Alec before she headed out on her first protest mission. |

SPOILER!!: Lyss! Alec grinned back at the older girl. Unless he was mistaken, this was the first time the two would be working on anything to do with homework! Usually the older girl kept to her own friends and Alec kept to his own. It was sad, really. The two made an excellent pair! Say, what now? Him? Popular? With the girls?! He knew that he knew a lot of girls but he was pretty sure that he wasn't 'popular' with them. None of them gossiped about him during sleepovers did they? ... He hoped not! "I don't... I mean..." He ruffled his hair. He wasn't popular with them, at all! He wasn't even popular to begin with! "Thanks Lyss!" he said. They'll be very, very useful! Lyss was protesting in the Great Hall? For a fleeting moment, Alec got the mental image of the brunette standing up on a table and chanting something for the protest. Breaking... rules? So they were allowed to bend the rules slightly? "Well, good luck!" he said, "Hey, you could take your Beater's bat with you!" In case... she needed a quick getaway? Whack Bludgers at people as she ran? No, that was lame. The young Hufflepuff let out a small chuckle at the older girl's next comment. This seemed very daring of them! And maybe this was something they could change! He just needed an idea as to where to go, now. "I'll meet you back here!" he called, just as the girl started walking away. Smiling, Alec grabbed a couple of the posters Lyss has left behind before following her out of the common room. |

SPOILER!!: Jordon Ella appreciated that Jordon was willing to help her despite the fact he hadn't done so before. It was really nice of him, especially because they hadn't known eachother before today. The second year laughed when Jordon promised only to laugh if she messed up. So he was a joker, huh? Well Ella appreciated that. As she continued to play, she could feel that Jordon was watching. It made her feel a bit nervous but she focused on the song, remembering how her dad had taught her to play it over the summer. A small smile appeared on her face when he began to strum along and she was almost sad when her stopped. When the song ended, Ella looked up at the boy with her eyebrows raised. "So...was I terrible?" She hoped not. She didn't want to embarrass herself, especially in front of a potential new friend. |

Alyssa entered the Common Room after her flying stunt in the Great Hall. She somehow had a feeling that she had failed to make the impact that she had wanted to make but knew that it had been worth a try. She sat down on the couch and stated into the fireplace and felt a great sadness overwhelm her again. It would be her birthday in a couple of hours and like the past two terms, she would be celebrating it quietly and without her family. Students were already leaving to go to Hogsmeade, and she wanted to go too but since she didn't have anyone to go with, she didn't want to go alone. Alyssa sighed and sadly stared into the fireplace. |
SPOILER!!: Jordon Ella beamed at the older boy when he said her playing was awesome. "I-It was? Thanks!" She said, looking sheepish. When he continued to complement her playing, the second year felt the blush forming on her face. Oh great, here it comes again. "I just-I don't know really. I guess I just haven't been playing for long and I thought." Shrug. "Thanks though, I'm glad you think I'm good." As for his offer, Ella nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, I'd really appreciate if-that is if you don't mind." Though he obviously didn't since he had asked, right? "It would be nice to hang out and play. I usually practice out on the grounds, well before it gets too cold." |
Aliza decided to peel her eyes away from the pages of her book for a few moments. She'd become so engrossed in it that she almost forgot where she was. She took a look around the room to see if anyone else had come in. She spotted the guitar players still talking. She smiled and said to herself, "Must be an interesting conversation." Aliza also noticed that the guy she met before was still chatting with the other person who had approached them when she went to see what was wrong. She turned her gaze to the fireplace, noticing a girl staring into it. Aliza could tell that something was troubling this girl, but she wasn't sure if she should ask about it. She watched as the girl sighed heavily as the colors of the flames reflected on her face. Aliza couldn't resist it. She stood up, placed her book on the seat of the armchair and walked over to the girl. "Is everything ok?" |
Post 4: Hufflepuff Common Room Quote:
"Ella I really need a BIG favor from you. Could you help me distribute these badges out to as many Hufflepuff students as you can. I'm going to get Alec to help me too. It's for a good cause really, especially if you have good friends that belong in the other houses. Will you help me?" Alyssa asked Ella, as she held out the bag of badges to her. |
Minerva had just gotten done with her morning class and ran back to the common room to see bouncers. She had been so busy lately that she had been feeling a bit bad for the little fur ball. She sat down in her favorite chair and put the pygmy puff into her lap. He bounced and squeaked happily. Looking around the common room she had only seen a few people. It had been weeks since the fight with Damon, but they still hadn't talked. She realized that he was not lying when he said he would pretend he didn't know her. She looked towards the fire place and closed her eyes. So many thoughts were running through her head from all her classes, quiddtich, Maxwell, but always as much as she tried the thoughts went back to that fight. |
SPOILER!!: Alyssa Ella turned when she heard a familiar voice and smiled up at the older Hufflepuff as she approached. Her eyebrows raised a bit when Alyssa told her she needed a favor. Now she was curious, not sure what she could do to help out the girl. Ohhhh! Protest stuff. Grabbing a button from Alyssa, Ella read it and smiled. "These are good, Alyssa. Sure I'll help you hand them out. I hope when we have our Hogsmeade rally you'll come to that as well." That way they could support each other's causes, yeah? |

Post 4: Hufflepuff House Protest Badges Quote:
Alyssa was grateful that Ella agreed to help. "Here is a bag of the Hufflepuff Badges and thanks again for offering to help. The Hogsmeade rally? Sure you can definitely count me in. Now that I've got your help to distribute the Hufflepuff badges, I wonder whether I can get Anya to help me distribute the Gryffindor badges to her House mates. I'm going to look for her. Catch you later, Ella and once again. Thanks."Alyssa waved to Ella as she made her way out of the Common Room. |

Minerva listened to him and was happy that he had talked to Sage and was getting along better. "Well I'm glad you talked, and at least there is one left. I don't think he would lie to you about that. There is no reason to lie about something like that. Especially seeing you at the Willow and how much pain you were in. That drove me nuts not being able to do anything to help you, but I knew Taylor was next to you." |
