Harvey smiled weakly when he saw that it was Katie who had called his name out and nudged him too.. and she knew that something was up he couldnt hide it "Oh Nothing much me and Minnie are going through a bit of a rough patch thats all.. nothing much" he said to Katie still smiling weakly.. he hoped that they would get over this rough patch soon and be the Minnie and Harvey they were before..

Naww, girlfriend trouble? Katie gave him a pat on the head and smiled, "What happened?" Katie asked, she wasn't being nervous, just...curios, okay well a little nosey but Katie couldn't help being like that, it was part of her personality, she was like curious george the monkey, because she was cool like that. "Of course you don't have to tell me, but remember I'll always be there to help" She added, good come back Katie, now he won't think that she was nosey... right?

Tiffany, The sweet Tiffany. "Oh yes, I know her. She's in my batch right? If we are taking about the same person?" But wait, what was he doing? Why were they talking about these people anyways? "The Gryffindor who's a Korean too?" asked Erin. If she said that Tiffany was a friend of hers, Jonathan would ask her so many questions, so better not tell. If only, he had no girlfriend, Erin would think, he was into the second year lion girl.

Oh, so he was thinking Erin was actually wishing for her sister to be in good terms, he wished. The gap between them would be going on forever.

He grinned? So, he was starting to enjoy the conversation. Pay-off time. Worth it. Wish for something to happen this year? Yes, maybe to be accepted at the Ravenclaw's Quidditch team. That would probably be the popular wishes at the wishing fountain. Before Erin could even say something, she found Jonathan Kim teasing her about liking... Daichi? "Daichi?" Erin repeated in her words.

Pretty interesting?, Gwen repeated in her head and smirked to the girl, and then continued drawing. When she finally got to finish the sketch of the upper part of the column, the Ravenclaw stained the whole page with ink. Gaaaah! Why is this always happening to me?!, she asked herself, putting the quill down. Staring at the piece of paper, Gwen couldn't believe she had to start over. 'Do you think Scourgify would work?', the third year asked the other girl. Or will I do something even more stupid?

'Nice to meet you too', Gwen said. After making a short pause, she added: 'I'd shake your hand but...' and looked at her hand, which was now full of ink.

'So what year are you in?', she asked Arabella. For sure older than I am.

Harvey smiled weakly "Yes I know.. its ok.. er.. remember she saw you and me at the owlery that day.. well since then she thinks that there is something going on between you and me and she is kind of suspicious about you and me alone.. " there he said it! Now Katie will probably laugh.. there is an age difference of 3 years .. how can Minnie think that he could possibly fall for another girl when he hadnt stopped loving the whole of last year..

HE WAS JOKING. TELL KATIE HE WAS JOKING!

Katie was surprised, it had something to do with her! She couldn't believe it! What was happening to Katie? It was disgusting what Minnie had though, no offense t Harvey but they was a big age difference, and Katie looked at him as a brother, not boyfriend, or anything like that for the matter. And Katie had a boyfriend that she reall liked a lot, maybe she even loved him!

She then started feeling bad, it was her fault that he was having troubles with his girlfriend, maybe she should stay away from Harvey for awhile? She looked at the ground then up to harvey and then gave him a hug, "I-I'm really sorry, its my fault about this" Katie said, she knew that Harvey might think she was weird giving him a hug, but it was a moment when a hug was needed, and Katie liked giving hugs, even to random people, she didn't care, no matter how creepy they thought of her, she hugged them anyway, but right now she was hugging her brother, yes brother.

Minerva was wondering around the castle and the outside. She was doing so much thinking lately that her head hurt. She knew she over reacted at Harvey a few days ago and she was feeling bad for being so mean to him. If he said they were just friends then she believed him. She had no reason not to believe him even if she had been betrayed over the summer by many people, one she thought was her friend or more and the other strangers. As she was walking around hopefully going to run into him she saw to students the girl hugging the boy. She stopped and thought oh they look cute, Harvey and I are that cute aren't we? When that nice thought vanished and anger filled her thoughts. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" she said in a tempered tone. "Harvey Watson, so I was crazy was I? Your just friends? Yeah you look like just friends right now." she was over being the victim for now at least.

Harvey smiled weakly as she said that she was sorry and then she hugged him and while she was hugging him he said "No its ok its just a misunderstanding thats all.. no biggie" he smiled.. he was glad that she was his sister but then was also wary about Minnie coming and seeing them



Suddenly he heard a raised voice and tempered oh oh.. too late she HAD seen them he looked at her in shock "I didnt say you were crazy. Yes we are friends.. but we are.. there is nothing between us.. we are like brother and sister... nothing more Mins.. please believe me.. I would not do that to you" he said to her as he looked at her still with shock.. he couldnt believe that Minnie was thinking he would go after another girl after all they had been through.. them being a secret, her summer secrets,, everything.. and he still hadnt left her and he still loved her that should say something right? that he loved her..

There she was. Minnie, and she was angry, this girl had got it all wrong! Katie felt even worse, now it was defiantly her fault! Why was Katie such a hugger? Why? Katie started to get angry, her slytherin was coming out, this wasn't good, not good at all, Katie stopped hugging and stood up in front of Minnie, "Yup were just friends" Katie smirked, she knew Minnie had been sarcastic but Katie took advantage of it. Katie then sighed, she shouldn't be getting angry, not yet at least. "Look Minnie, Hi I'm Katie and I would never try and steal your boyfriend, there is nothing between us, well, I do have feelings for him, but those feelings are not what you might think, he is like a brother" Katie explained, she could tell a fight was going to start, and she was prepared for it.

And then it hit her. What if John found out about this? And he thought the same as Minnie that her and Harvey liked each other, she started to worry, as John's last girlfriend had cheated on him so he might think all the girls are the same, and that she was cheating on him? Katie could just hope this didn't make its way to John.

Yup, that is her. Jonathan nodded his head. Wait! Why was he asking about these questions in the first place again????---- It's too find out whether she was not as creepy as he think she is right? So far, she knows everyone so Jonathan shouldn't be too worried why she knows much about him. She knew Daichi too and she knew Tiffany. "are you guys friends?" he asked. Tiffany was more of an acquaintance to Jonathan. They barely didn't talk that much on the way to Hogwarts but it was nice talking to her. She's really nice.

Jonathan nodded once more. "Yeah, Daichi." Jonathan confirmed. He is a nice young fellow and is very fun to be with. "The three of us could have lunch sometime in the Great Hall" she likes him right? ohhhh. How cute.

Justin walked down to the courtyard in hopes of finding Harvey. He desperately needed to talk to him about the Ame situation.

Her eyes narrowed slightly as the boy whom had randomly appeared had showed up, hearing his chuckles. She was exactly sure what he was laughing about but she could guess that it was the fact that she had spaced out. She rested her chin on her chuckles, watching him. She said nothing. It wasn't HER fault she had spaced out! Valentina had a lot on her mind, it just happened! She wasn't usually spacey. She watched him grin all proudly. An ego, the boy hadn't been here for five seconds and Val had already made that assumption. He had an ego. He seemed to be good with words. He probably got girl's attention easily. after all, he was a good looking boy

He wasn't smiling anymore and Val beamed innocently. He hadn't expected her to reply like that, had he? Of course not. Valentina loved to surprise people, she adored it actually and lived to do so. "Cat got your tongue?"She said in an innocent voice, still smiling. He wasn't talking, he in fact seemed lost for words. Intimidated? Valentina couldn't help but laugh, "Intimidated? I'm not the one who's looking all nervous..."She eyed the boy now, noticing his hands going into his pocket. She kept her position, her eyes crossed in a lady-like fashion, smile still on her face."It's lovely meeting you though! What's your name?"Really! It was lovely meeting him! And she really did want to know his name! Take a picture? Hehh. "I don't have a camera."She replied in her "matter of fact" tone. It wasn't a lie! She didn't have a camera at all actually! That'd be a good investment in the year future though.

He was sitting next to her now, and Valentina kept up the smile. A faint non-toothy smile. Why weren't more girl's like her? Hmm...she had to think of a good reply to that, actually. "I dunno, that's a question to ask the other girls."She paused and chewed on her lip, "Maybe...the world can only handle one person like me?"BEAM.

Did Aspen just congratulate her? Taryn giggled some more. Sigh. She really didn't know what she'd do if she lost Aspen too. A girl NEEDED her BFF!

"Did you? That's cool. I could go for some ice cream right now." Hehe. Chocolate ice cream. Yes.

Hmmm. "Well, your dad is a DAD. I think those kind of things kind of just COME to them. They're dads, I mean, they've known you for your entire life and all." She shrugged, "He was very proud of his gift, it was sweet." So Taryn figured it was alright. Besides, things were still sort of awkward but becoming clearer all the time, it would get better.

Harvey walked to the courtyard. He was bored he had nothing to do so he walked here and he was about to sit down when he noticed a lone figure.. Justin.. he walked upto him "Hey Mate.. what are you upto?" he asked smiling at his best friend..

Adam gave Louisa an empathetic little grin. He understood where it was coming from. The stress of the OWLs and what it would mean if you didn't get the grade that you wanted to get on them. "Don't worry. It's just the stress of the OWLs. They are designed to make you freak out more than anything," Adam said with a little chuckle. It was true. They had to know that having so much ride on one test was bound to make more than one kid want to pull their hair out. "I would recommend gum to help with the situation. Gives you something to chew on other than your nails." Reaching into his jacket pocket Adam pulled out a pack of gum and handed it to Louisa.

When Louisa asked how things were going with him and Rubiey he let out a little sigh. "I'm not really sure," Adam said with a small shake of the head. "I know we were busy this summer but she hasn't returned any of my letters and I haven't even seen her around Hogwarts." Granted it was only the first week but still. Surely since they are in the same house they would have seen each other by now, right? "I'm just wondering if things are going to be able to work if we can never see each other, you know?" Adam gave a shrug of the shoulders. "How are things with you and Joao?" She was trying to be polite, so he should be too, right?

Arabella-Marie smiled at Gwen and said "Yeah i think scourgify would work Gwen and i am in my fifth year, what year are you in Gwen"

Gum? Louisa chuckled lightly at this, "That's actually a brilliant idea. I think I should buy some when we go to Hogsmade." She nodded confirming, and accepting his pack of gum. She slid one out and gave it back to him, "Thank you." Popping the gum into her mouth. As it dissolved in her mouth, Louisa pondered a bit and then smiled tasting the peppermint flavor, "It's been a while since I chewed a gum." A muggle gum especially, "I forgot how good it was." Yep, this was her new addiction.

Hearing about Rubiey made Louisa forget all the bitterness and furrow her eyebrows in concern. "Really? I'm sorry to hear that, Adam." Not because she was worried about the girl rather than feeling sad for her best friend. She didn't want him to be perplexed... or worse, played with. She'd give the girl a piece of her mind if she was discovered to be playing with Adam's emotions. "You didn't come across her in the common room, either?" Because THAT would be suspicious.

And there came Joao. Ahem. Shrugging her shoulders, Louisa spoke truthfully, "I don't know. I mean I haven't seen him ever since school started." Internal pout and frown at this, "I'm going to get worried if he doesn't contact me soon. Something must be keeping him away from me in school because when I was in Brazil, well after we had that small fight, we were just perfect." She looked up at Adam, half-regretting this slip up and half-expecting him to gloat. However, the Adam she knew wouldn't do this.

So he was at a loss for words for one second. What was the big deal? "Nooo, nor am I or have I ever been intimidated, I just taking a minute to get a good look at you." A lie, for the most part, but that was only because he was sure that he probably would become speechless if he tried to get a good look at her. "Something about your smile and the way you sit so lady-like just made me forget what I was about to say." And the fact that girls never spoke to him in such a way.

Once hearing her say she was glad to have met him, he smiled and nodded in agreement. "It's my pleasure. I am Hunter Sean Pierce, but you can call me whatever you like for the most part." With how fast this girl thought, he was almost sure she would start calling him every name she could ever think of. "And, while I'm sure you'd love for me to continue calling your gorgeous, may I ask what your name is?" He was still sitting on the bench, facing her instead of the rest of the courtyard. She had his full attention.

"Ask the other girls? Now I'm sure that would only get me into trouble." Comparing girls to each other was always a bad thing. He had learned that from his sisters/cousins Ruby and Bridgette. "Setting me up for failure, I see." Once she thought up a response, Hunter was sure he had made the right choice by walking up to her. He was full out smiling at her now. "Hmm, so that would make you....different?" Different was definitely the word to describe her, among others that only focused on the physical appearance though.

Adam gave Louisa a little smirk as she plopped a piece of gum in her mouth, thanking him for it. "Don't mention it," Adam said, shoving the pack back into his coat pocket. "I honestly can't live without the stuff. Helps with the nerves and all that nonsense. I've actually never tried wizard brand gum though...is it similar to muggle gum?" Adam asked. He imagined they would probably have more exotic flavors than the muggle world did, and that if you wanted you could probably get gum that would be more than just gum. Suddenly as image of the girl Violet from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book popped into his head.

When Louisa extended her apologies about Rubiey, Adam gave a little shrug. "Maybe she wants to end things and she's just not sure how. Or, maybe she's just too busy and we were crazy to think it would work when we never get to see each other. I just...well I wish she'd at least talk to me or something you know? At this point I feel like I am just speculating more than anything else since really I have no idea what's going on." In all honesty it had been months since him and Rubiey had even exchanged so much as a hello. He assumed it was at first his fault since his mom passing away had drawn him away from Hogwarts and into his new life with his grandfather, but he had assumed she would at least return on of his letters. Adam bit his lower lip. There was really no point in telling Louisa all of this. It wasn't really her problem after all. "I'll figure it out," Adam concluded vaguely.

Adam listened as Louisa went on about Joao, somewhat surprise that she too was having similar problems. Although their situation was slightly better considering she had at least seen him over the summer. "Is he not at Hogwarts right now?" Adam asked, nothing really inflected in his tone. It was a bit odd if he wasn't here, but who knows. Maybe the kid was off doing important political stuff with his important parents. At the remembrance of his parents' occupation Adam couldn't help his lips from twitching slightly. Ahh that conversation with Paulie had been quite amusing. Of course, Louisa probably knew nothing about what happened between Paulie and Joao, and he wasn't going to be the one to tell her. She already hated Paulie enough as it was. Perhaps his amusement at this memory prevented Adam from making a rather unpleasant face when Louisa said that things between them were perfect. "Well...I'm...uh. Good to know things have been better since the fight." Adam assumed he could have done a bit more to make that seem more sincere.

Justin saw Harvey and walked up to shake his best friend's hand. " Hey , Harv. I've got a long road ahead of me with Amethyst. We're back together , but she heard me talking about Alyssa to Minnie. I don't know how I'm gonna make it up to her."

Harvey shook Justin's hand and listened to him and he beamed "Oh mate that is great! I am happy for you guys. Oh! ok.. well I guess spending time with her.. as in just you two alone should be ok.. that may make it upto her.. or maybe a date or two by the lake or something... like we had that double date.... last year" he said to Justin and speaking of the double date instantly reminded him of Ronnie and the fact that she was not here in this school anymore.. she had moved to a different school.. but he was glad that she didnt change schools because of him..

She's getting it all wrong, lol!
 

Wizard gum? Hmm. Louisa shrugged one shoulder, "I never tried one. I did have many wizard candies and they had those crazy flavors but never came across a gum. I think it's going to be exotic." And now he got her curious about this. "If we don't meet in Hogsmade, each one of us should bring the other a pack of wizard gum," Louisa added grinning at Adam, it was nice to make silly things with friends. She wanted to get her mind off the tension and this seemed like a good way.

Louisa frowned when Adam suggested that she might want to end things. "I don't think she wants that. You're great. She's lucky to have you." Yep. No girl should ever think about dumping her friend. NONE. "But yeah, you probably should investigate about this." As much as she wanted to know more and talk about this, she didn't want to push the boy. If he wanted to tell her, he would. And if he wanted some help, he probably knew she was there for him... if he didn't know then she would smack him. Hehe. But he did.

"He is." She blinked. Was he? Well, she assumed he was, she never saw him but.. where else would he be? "I didn't see him but I think he is in here. He didn't tell me anything about leaving school." Pause. "I saw a week before the Express and all was good." She hesitated a bit before adding, "D-do you think something came up and he couldn't make it to Hogwarts?" DID HE KNOW SOMETHING? "Adam.. are you hiding something from me?" She gave him a sharp look.

Boys should really stop this secrets thing.

Justin listened to his advice. It was odd that he was on the recieving end of this information. " Yeah, I suppose..... But I think it may take more than a couple of dates to get her to come around fully. "

Harvey nodded as Justin spoke "Yes that might be the case.. but let her know that she is the girl for you.. the girl you gave that ring to.. as long as she knows that you have eyes just for her then she may come round." he said to his friend hoping that all this would work as he hated seeing any couple break-up it hurt him especially if the couple were close to him the way Ame and Justin were..
