This corridor is a simple, airy hallway with openings to allow in as much sunshine as possible and fresh air. It is an excellent transition from the school to the grounds as it exits out into the courtyard.

No one had been more surprised than Kurumi when she had gone to the Owlerly with every intention of writing a letter to Lexi and Salander only to find that there was an adorable little tawny screech owl swooping through one of the windows with a letter to her. What had been even MORE shocking had been WHO the letter was from: former Head Girl Evelyn Flores.
The contents had been equally shocking. How did she KNOW these things? Kurumi had a few theories swimming around in her head, but she needed to discuss them with someone who had spent more time around her than Kurumi did. Thankfully, or not, that decision had been made for her. Now it was just a matter of finding said person, which it what brought Kurumi to the corridor now. She HAD to come walking by here at some point, right?

Isabelle walked out of the castle and down through the corridor heading towards the courtyard. She saw a younger girl there, Kurumi the Gryffindor prefect, but was to afraid to talk to her. So she just kept on walking, there was no way that she was going to become intimidated when she just sounded stupid trying to talk to a prefect. No she would plan on bonding with younger Slytherins.

The one reason Sierra really came back to school each year. Well, maybe not the only reason, as she really should have an education, too, but it was a big reason. So here she was stepping out into the sunshine to take a trip down to the pitch. She avoided anyone else in the vicinity and looked down as she continued on her way. All she really needed to do was get down there, sign up, and then make her way back to the dungeons.
Sounded good to her.
So she did just that. Well, the signing up part, at least. Now on her way back to the castle, Sierra again looked down as she weaved through the groups of people scattered on the grounds. Why anyone felt the need to just stand around and talk was beyond her...

Katie remembered the boy she had met and how bad timing it was for her to say hello to him, she should of just kept reading, but he was very nice to her and they had planned to meet up here at around this time, of course Katie came a little early so she could read for awhile, but she was prepared to be interrupted by him.
Katie opened the book and the page she was and started to read leaning against the wall.

It was actually a pretty nice day out! Hoping to get a bit of fresh air, Cornelius walked down the corridor towards the Hogwarts grounds. He then saw a familiar student in green robes, reading a book and leaning up against a wall. "Hey, it's you!" he greeted with a grin, walking up to her with the normal spring to his step. He gave a bit of a laugh, realizing that that wasn't the most normal greeting. "I'm glad I got the chance to see you again; sorry we couldn't talk last time..." He stood before her, hoping he wasn't interrupting her reading too much, and wondering if they had met at a bad time yet again.
"I'm Cornelius, by the way," he added, realizing that they hadn't really had time to introduce themselves the last time they'd had a small conversation. He offered her a hand, waiting for her to shake it and introduce herself as well.

Kurumi HAD seen Sierra walk by her with her head down like an ostrich as she made her way through the corridor off to who knows where. Kurumi had sort of moved in her direction, the letter from Evelyn clutched in her hand, but Kurumi was more worried about the Slytherin hexing her for disrupting her walk since it seemed like she was a snake on a mission. Considering what she knew and the new relationships in the fourth year's life, if that DID happen then Kurumi would somehow be the one at fault.
Maybe she would walk by again?
It took a few moments, but Sierra did come back around looking rather proud of herself and less like she was on a mission. Now was it safe to approach her?
"S-Sierra!" Kurumi said with a small wave. "I...um...I have a message for you from Evelyn." She then handed her the parchment she had received earlier that morning.

Katie asked, how could a boy who looked like he was in fifth year have not meet a Ravenclaw yet? And thats when he answered her thoughts, "Oh I see, well allow me to Welcome you to the magical hogwarts" Katie smiled, Hogwarts was so awesome, he will be happy he came to Hogwarts, "I'm a fifth year too" Katie added nodding, she was happy she was meeting another fifth year as there wasn't as many as she hoped.
What had Katie been doing in the courtyard?
"I came to the courtyard to read, I love reading" Katie smiled, reading was her life... AND QUIDDITCH BECAUSE THAT SPORT WAS THE BEST!

Minerva got out of the observatory and just kept running with tears down her face. She stopped and looked around not believing that she had run clear to the corridor to the courtyard. She stopped and fell to the ground sobbing into her legs. She was so upset over Harvey and that girl now losing points for something she didn't do. That professor hated her last year and still seems to be out for her. She rocked back and forth sobbing while no one was around.

Harvey ran out of the observatory looking for Minnie everywhere.. and then he came here and there was no mistaking who that blonde hair belonged to .. so he went up to her and sat down next to her ."Mins? Mins. I am sorry.. I didnt mean for that to happen" he said as he remembered her glaring at him before she ran off "I mean that had been our spot last year.. no problems" he said to her.. he then put a hand on her arm "Mins?" he called out to her once more.. was he going to hurt every girl that he ever dated.. if he was he had better keep to his studies if that was the case.. he couldnt see Minnie hurt.. after all that she had been through over the summer and now this..

Harvey was now sad to see that she was like this after all that he had done to make sure that she stayed happy.. and one mistake of his and she was sad again.. "Mins.. Harvey watched as she got up and wiped her face.. he was about to argue her comments when she picked up her bag and headed towards her common room... she WAS the HIS Golden Badger no matter what happens with points.. she was one of the top 5 puffs last year and he knew this year would be no different.

Finally he got up looked to where Minnie had gone to see if she was there .. but she was not.. so he then walked off in the opposite direction with his hands in his pockets and he hung his head as he walked off..

She hesitated for a brief moment, wanting to walk away, but then stopped at the last second and turned her attention toward the Gryffindor.

Was that...a bad thing that Evelyn had written to her? Kurumi had been surprised at it as well, but they had become kind of close during the last term. Evelyn had even taught Kurumi some simple hexes which Kurumi was actually itching to try out on her co-prefect. He did deserve a good hex after everything. Only problem was that Kurumi wasn't Slytherin enough to be able to do so without being caught. Maybe she should have asked Evelyn to teach her how to be sneaky as well.
Kurumi chose not to respond to Sierra and her owl comment - as illogical as it was - and instead waited for Sierra to read the message. "I don't know," Kurumi shrugged. "I don't even know how Evelyn knows about this student." Did Slytherin's keep pet snakes that would slither their way through the pipes around the school to spy on everyone. They could then report back to the Parselmouth of the house which, in this case, was obviously Evelyn. Yes, Kurumi Hollingberry had figured out your secret!

To find more victims enjoy a nice day out, Lea Carter made her way outside the Gryffindor Tower and the huge castle and started to roam around on the wide, sooooo wide, grounds. There was the hut of CoMC man, the lake, the forbidden forest which she had plans to raid in and lots lots of stuff. The little lioness had no certain destination and she just went to where her instincts led her...which resulted in her being herself in this corridor that led to the courtyard.
Hmmm...
Stopping the girl looked around a bit with narrowed eyes. There were enough people here to be chosen as a victim actually. Her dark brown eyes found a Hufflepuff girl before they moved on Kurumi and some Slytherin girl she was talking to. Hmmm. Slytherins...Lea did not like Slytherins. It was Kurumi's back to her so....she slowly unholstered her wand and took an aim at the Slytherin.

To find more victims enjoy a nice day out, Lea Carter made her way outside the Gryffindor Tower and the huge castle and started to roam around on the wide, sooooo wide, grounds. There was the hut of CoMC man, the lake, the forbidden forest which she had plans to raid in and lots lots of stuff. The little lioness had no certain destination and she just went to where her instincts led her...which resulted in her being herself in this corridor that led to the courtyard.
Hmmm...
Stopping the girl looked around a bit with narrowed eyes. There were enough people here to be chosen as a victim actually. Her dark brown eyes found a Hufflepuff girl before they moved on Kurumi and some Slytherin girl she was talking to. Hmmm. Slytherins...Lea did not like Slytherins. It was Kurumi's back to her so....she slowly unholstered her wand and took an aim at the Slytherin.
Hehehehe...
Trotting, as usual this year, Louisa was clutching her satchel in one hand and her grumpy cat in the other. "I cannot believe this stupid cat. Sneaking out of the libra-" she was talking to herself, ranting to herself actually and once she was in the corridor that would lead her into the castle and back up to the library... a little girl was taking her wand out.
Okay. Louisa thought practicing charms outside classrooms was prohibited, especially for ickle people like this one. She slowed her pace and walked on, her way would cross the little girl anyway. Curiously she moved her eyes to where the girl was smirking at.
HOLYMERLIN! PEOPLE!
"STOP!" Back to trotting and grabbing the girl's arm, "What do you think you're doing!?" Louisa's eyes couldn't get any wider, her cat had slipped away from her grip too and jumped away meowing happily. But that wasn't important now. Louisa tried to tune down her tone and be all nice and advising, "It's not right, sweetie." And letting go of her arm so the girl wouldn't be intimidated.
...young girls were so cute and wouldn't harm people on purpose.
Adeline looked to the left and saw the Courtyard but she really just wanted to stay in the corridor now. All this new stuff to learn and the British terms were really confusing to her but her favorite word that she used so far was 'rubbish' it was a much nicer, cleaner word to say that garbage. Saying garbage was gross. She didn't like that word one bit.
She was so happy that she could be bouncing with joy now! She was going to be meeting the love of her life. PRETTY BOY! This was going to be amazing and she couldn't wait for him to show up and be a gorgeous for her. Adeline smiled and looked around. The grounds on the castle were very beautiful. She was getting used to where to go and she was starting to like Hufflepuff more and more each day. She still didn't see what makes her part of the house though.
Adeline looked around and wondered where he was. They didn't set a time but either way she was really early and all pretty looking for him and whenever she talked to Matt she would forget about Alec.
She felt bad for not thinking about Alec but oh well it was her choice to have a crush on whom ever she likes even if she doesn't understand it.
