All aboard!

Front of the train getting full? No worries, plenty of room in the back cars. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!

The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.

Anyone could tell that the Phillips parents were going to miss their little girl. Just watching their tearful goodbyes was affecting her in a very profound way. In fact, she felt almost guilty being there to see such an exchange.

It seemed like it took very little these days to have her crying, though...in public, no less.

Carter was motioning for her to step through the barrier and she sighed. The next time she did this, it would probably be with her own children...Grasping Anya's hand, she took a deep breath, glancing down. "Ready?"

A moment later, they were stepping through...

Anya squeezed Marilyn's hand and shut her eyes tight. They. *breath* Were. *breath* Walkingstraightintoawall!

She fought the urge to flail and run away.

She opened her eyes when she heard a whistle of a train. Odd. She didn't feel like someone that should have hit a SOLID wall.

Her eyes widened. Apparently that wall wasn't so solid.

"This is seriously hidden... in a wall?" she exclaimed jumping up and all. She freed herself from Marilyn and ran up and down the platform several times. She then went back to face her brother and her... Marilyn. She'd come up with a better title later.

"This. Is. BRILLIANT!" she squeed happily. "I can't wait to write..." she then stopped suddenly. She wasn't allowed to tell Alec about this sort of thing.

Carter arrived on the platform after Marilyn and Anya. He followed them over... and quickly got out of the way as Anya started running around like a crazy person.

Merlin.

Did someone feed his sister sugar this morning?

Oh no... and now there was more Alec talk. Was it insensitive to say that he was tired of hearing about it? She'd spent nearly the whole night crying. Their last night as a family... she was crying about the neighbor boy.

Merlin.

He crouched down and put his hand on his sister's shoulder. "You'll be fine. I promise." he said giving the girl a kiss on the forehead. "You'll make friends like Marilyn.. and Marie... and Mina... I know how much you like them. You'll make your own magical friends. And you'll be able to hang out with Asher."

He glanced at Marilyn. The girl could step in at any time.

Smirking at Anya's enthusiasm, she gave Carter a look. It was always interesting for her to see them interact. It definitely gave her more insight into Carter Phillips himself...Not that he was overly complex.

Well, not to her, anyway.

Anya was having trouble letting go of her muggle friends and not being able to say anything to them about this vast magical world they'd lived in. Marilyn herself had never had this problem, of course. She had no muggle friends.

Carter was giving her a look, which had her silently laughing. SUFFER, Carter Phillips...

For Anya's sake, only, she stepped forward. She had to urge to mother the girl...which seemed to be getting stronger these days. "You're going into a brand new school where things are going to be scary and exciting around every corner. With all the magical adventures you'll be having, there won't be time to think about muggle things..." Reaching forward, she hugged the girl. "Remember, you can owl me if you need anything. No matter how big or small it might be." Grinning at the younger girl...Marilyn kissed her cheek.

Glancing back up to Carter, she smirked. "Your brother, too...You can always owl him...not that he'll be much help."

Presley Black 12-23-2011 08:23 PM

Presley was back from Egypt looking tan and lively. She pushed a trolley carrying three of her seven trunks, and Leo had the others for her.

"Well, I guess I'll leave you here then," Leo smiled at his little sister. She was growing up so fast! "And Happy Birthday miss 13-year-old."

Presley had had a wonderful summer with her brother, and lots of friends. She turned and threw her arms around the person she loved most in the entire world. "I'll miss you Leo. Promise to write to me? And to have Maine write to me? I get lonely without mail." She would never admit this to another soul, just her brother. Because if she could trust noone else, Presley could trust Leo.

Leo nodded. "Of course I'll write to you," he replied confidently, noticing the insecurity nobody else would see. She was so vulnerable, however brave she acted. "Do well in school, but Pres?" he waited until her eyes met his before he continued. "Don't overwork yourself. Life is about having fun, and it doesn't matter what he thinks, you're brilliant, but you don't have to work so hard all the time okay?"
Presley listened to Leo's sound advice, knowing that it went without saying who the "he" was that Leo mentioned. They both knew it was thier father. "I'll do my best, no promises though," she flashed him a cheeky grin, and turned back toward the platform. "I should go find Luna, and maybe Elliot. Thanks for dropping me off Leo."

elllla_Wtwins 12-23-2011 08:39 PM

Sighing, now third year Thea shook back her dark curls. 'This blows..' She muttered.

'Oh, always a ray of sunshine aren't you, Thea..' Julian pushed past her, grinning. 'See you later?' The triplets all called to Thea and Leo as they sped off.

Thea merely rolled her eyes, and pulled her jacket tighter around her and smoothed out her skirt. Tapping her nails on the bar of her luggage trolley, Thea peered around the platform for a familiar face. Well, almost anybody would do really. She stretched out her spare hand to scratch Maleficent behind the ears.

Before she knew it, Leo had hugged her bye giving her a flick on the head and sloped off to find his own friends so she was alone.. Fabulous.

... Anya. His best friend. Who was now going to go to another boarding school. Alec was seriously going to miss that girl.

And... speaking of girl, there was one further along the platform. A girl with the same brown hair as the girl he had just been thinking about. She was surrounded by an older boy and girl and the older boy looked familiar as well! But the only person who truly caught his attention was the young girl. Alec watched her carefully. She turned around and-

ANYA?! ANYA PHILLIPS?! So SHE was going to Hogwarts as well?

Alec threw off his bag and left it beside his trolley before running as fast as he could towards the brown haired girl. Reaching her, he threw his arms around her and hugged her tightly before lifting her up and spinning her round... and round... and round... "It's you! It's actually you!" he said. He gently put her down and kissed her on her cheek. He was so happy to see her again!

Merlin.

Aaaand, through the wall! The whole running-through-a-wall thing was still pretty cool. Even the seventh time.

EH. Seven. Ellie was a Seventh Year. This was going to be her last year at Hogwarts... *wibble* She still didn't know how she felt about that. One part of her was so excited for the future and living on her own and working for Carter. But the other part of her never wanted to leave Hogwarts. She spent almost half her life in that castle and she kind of wasn't ready to let go yet. At least she still had a few months before she really said goodbye.

Lugging her fat and heavy trunk across the platform, Ellie heard a little girl squeal up ahead. She looked down to see a cute little brunette girl. Ellie grinned, remembering when she was an ickle little first- WAITHOLDON.

HOLD. THE. PHONE. Was that-?

"Carter!" Ellie squeed, louder than she intended. Actually, she didn't really intend anything to come out of her mouth. It just did. Ellie waddled as fast as she could with her heavy trunk and her screeching owl over to the Hogwarts graduate with a grin that must have looked extremely ridiculous. She was just excited, okay?

kayquilz 12-23-2011 09:04 PM

Elliot hugged tightly to her father's side. Not that she was actually hugging him, but she was standing very near him. The man was walking fast, and Elliot had to struggle to keep up with him. A nice-looking lady holding the hands of two young girls. As they neared the train, Elliot looked up at her father in full admiration, a full smile not only on her lips, but also twinkling in her eyes.
"Bye," she said simply, as the rather stoic man simply glared down at her.

Darius was running late. He had about a million appointments today...but his eldest daughter had begged him to see her off, seeing as he hadn't been home much this summer. He was still a little angry about her galavanting all over Egypt with the Blacks, without his full permission. He'd have to talk to Jed about that. Hmph. As his daughter said bye, he merely patted her on the head. This was actually a very affectionate action for the very tough man. A smile never crossed his face, however; in fact, his eyes even looked a little dead.
"Remember, Elliot Mitchell: you are a Morganzo. You must act like one. You've yet to disappoint me. Keep it that way, Miss Morganzo," he coughed out, his voice sounding rusty and deep. As he looked into his daughter's eager eyes, eyes that only truly looked happy when they were pleasing him, he managed to feel something stir inside of him. Call it love, or what you will, but he immediately kissed the top of her forehead, something he NEVER did.

Elliot was ecstatic. She almost cried of utter happiness! Darius had NEVER kissed her before, or hugged, or anything! She glanced behind the huge man, and waved goodbye to her annoying mother and sisters...she glanced around, saw Presley and waved at her, motioning that she would see her on the train.
"I won't, father. I won't. I expect you'll write to me?" she asked, standing up straight as she threw her lacy backpack on...and her very expensive luggage behind her.

Darius glanced over to the people his daughter was waving to, recognized the two young Blacks, and merely glared at them...Ugh. He was still angry. They had taken his precious daughter around...and with only a house elf as her caretaker! He wasn't really paying attention to Elliot's question, so he had to quickly answer.
"Oh, yes. Certainly. Whatever you want, Elliot Mitchell," he replied, taking out his wand to get ready to leave. He thought about his next few business ventures and immediately made a mental note to leave the manor under extra security measures. Elliot would be safe at Hogwarts. He apparated off, leaving behind Elliot's mother and sisters without even kissing them goodbye. Not enough time for that.

Elliot had walked off, but when she turned around to wave goodbye, he was gone. She sighed, narrowed her eyes, and had to crinkled up her face in order to stay calm. no tears. She headed toward the train, regretting ever even asking him to come. he only made her feel worse!

"But I don't want to forget Muggle things..." Anya said slowly. Sure... this was all new and exciting... but muggle things were every bit a part of her as magic was going to be. She looked at her older brother. She silently begged him to tell her... something. He'd been through this. He didn't forget all his muggle friends, did he?

She blinked back a few tears realizing that she'd never once met any of Carter's non-magical friends. That was... if he had any.

"Owl. Right... I will." she said forcing a smile. They were just trying to help. She didn't need to freak out.

She'd just be the first witch ever to keep her muggle side. That's it. That's what she'd do.

And Anya was in the middle of accepting her fate when she was being attacked. She half-screamed. WHAT was going on?! Did things like this just happen in the wizarding world?

This was going to take some getting used to...

When she was finally on the ground her eyes widened.

"Alec...?" she asked. She blinked... repeatedly... This was the strangest mirage ever.

O_O

And that was a kiss! Mirages didn't do that... which meant...

"Alec!" she exclaimed. Her expression changed from confusion... to delight... to...

She punched him in the arm. "I can't believe you. I say goodbye to you and it turns out we were going to the same place." she punched him again. "I. Kissed. You. For. No. Reason." she said giving him another punch with each word. When she was finally finished she heaved a huge sigh and threw her arms around her best friend. "I'm glad to see you too."

What the...? Who the...?

WHAT was going on?!

Was that? It couldn't be... But... was it? No... things like that didn't even happen in movies.

O_O Did HE just give his BABY sister a kiss? He was about to tell the boy off... when Anya looked like she was taking care of that problem.

He hid a laugh behind his hand. "Get used to it kid." he said to Alec. "Girls are crazy." He was so amused he forgot all about the boy giving his sister a kiss.

"Oh. This is my sister. And her..." he blinked still unable to believe that the neighbor kid showed up out of nowhere. "... Alec." he finished. He'd process what just happened later.

Maybe.

"She's starting this year. Well... I guess they both are..."

Anya looked up when her brother said her name. "Pleasure." she said with a wide grin. She still had her arms around Alec in what probably felt like a death grip.

And that's what he deserved to! She'd had an awful past two days thanks to him.

Presley noticed Elliot, but pretended to be occupied with something in the opposite direction, noticing the rather nasty look Elliot's father had given Pres. She waited until she was quite sure Mr. Morganzo had gone before walking, ladylike and proper (her mother was still there) over to Elliot. "Elliot Morganzo," she said cheerily. "It's nice to see you here." Curtsying to Mrs. Morganzo, she recognized the woman the way she'd been taught. "Mrs. Morganzo," she murmured.

Elliot must be glad her father came to see her off Presley thought enviously. Her father hadn't bothered to see her since he threatened to cut off her funds the first day of holidays if Presley didn't "shape up and fly right." But Presley's mood couldn't be soured today of all days. It was her birthday. Today Presley was thirteen, and to top all of that off, she was going back to Hogwarts. Back to witches and wizards and magical things, goblins and ghosts and to magical beasts. It was so exciting to think that this year she was a third year. Allowed to visit Hogsmeade (not that she hadn't snuck out and explored there before), allowed to have elective classes, and one step closer to convincing Tate that her plan was a good one.

Elliot quickly stiffened when she that voice say her name. She wouldn't let Presley see how hurt she was truly feeling. She merely became that icy block...
"Hello there, Presley Black," she nodded at her, her eyes piercing into the other girl's. She sighed as Presley curtsied to her mother. She noticed how happy Presley looked...and she wondered why..

Josey, after the sudden disappearance of her husband, let go of Danni and Sam to give Elliot a good squeeze.
"Hello, Presley, dear, good to see you again, Please, call me Mrs. Josey," she said warmly, completely opposite of the icy vibes her daughter was giving off right now. She then grabbed Sam before the five year old could scamper off, and leaned over to kiss both of her daughter's cheeks.
"Bye, sweetheart, and you too, darling Presley...thank you for the lovely trip you gave Elliot!" she said, and she smiled at the two before apparating away.

Elliot had a quick view of her two little sisters waving franticly at her with their free hands, and they were gone. She was now very alone. Well, besides Presley...

Then it dawned on her..IT WAS PRESLEY'S BIRTHDAY! Ahh! Elliot quickly dropped her bags and began to shake the girl by the shoulders, her iciness evaporated!
"Presley Black! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she cried, a flush appearing on her cheeks as she was excited! She reached into her pocket and pulled out a neatly wrapped present. The paper was enchanted to change colors from blue to bronze. The ribbon was beautifully tied on top...Elliot had done it herself, too!
"Here...it's not much" Lie. They had been expensive and specially made. "But here. I hope you like them..." code for: You better like them.

Inside the beautiful package was...a lacy pair of gloves! what else?

SPOILER!!: Anya, Carter and Ellie as well!

Carter whipped around when he heard someone call his name. He grinned as Ellie came out of nowhere. He pulled her into a hug. "Ellie!" he said happily. He didn't even think to realize that he would run into younger student on the platform. "Look at you. Seventh year. How does it feel?" he asked after releasing her from the hug.

Alec blinked down at Anya. He was pretty sure that this was the same Anya he knew so well. The same Anya he had grown up with. And yet... she wasn't saying anything. This wasn't like Anya at all! Anya was more of the talkative type.

O___O

Now she was punching him on his arm. Typical Anya. What wasn't typical or normal was the fact that she was punching him AT EVERY WORD! All he did was run up to her, hug her, spin her around, let her back down and kiss her on the cheek. That wasn't too much or too little was it? "OW!" he said, pointedly, pretending as if she had hurt him badly. If she felt bad... that wasn't so bad.

A kiss for no reason? Alec let out a small chuckle. It was worth to get punched so many times just to see her again. "There's no such thing as giving someone a kiss for no reason, Phillips," he said, holding onto her, "Good! You'd better be."

Alec turned his attention to the older boy who was-

O___O

It was Mr Carter! Alec should have realised it would be him. But it wasn't his fault. Anya was the one to blame here. The girl shouldn't be distracting him like this. Alec let out another chuckle as he looked between Carter to Anya and back again. "They are. Your sister especially," he said, poking his tongue out at his best friend. There.

And now Carter was talking to someone he knew. Someone who was A LOT older than him or Anya. Maybe she used to go to school with Carter? Alec, deciding to be nice, turned to look at Anya when he heard his name being said to the new girl. "Hey!" Alec said, smiling at the girl and keeping his grip on Anya... who seemed to be gripping him rather tightly. Girls!

Alec pushed his trolley along the platform, trying to look for a familiar face. One who wouldn't mind him tagging along with them for the duration of the journey to Hogwarts. But, the only ones he knew so far was Adeline and Asher. It's not as if Anya would be here.

Cody looked around the platform. Lyssie had described it perfectly. It was an awesome place. This being her first time at Hogwarts she didn't expect to recognize anyone. She saw a boy kiss a girl on the cheek, obviously happy to see her. Cody smiled at them.

Anya was too upset to even comment on Alec's 'ow!'. No. She was ticked off that she spent all of the last two days crying her eyes out. FOR NO REASON! Alec was right here!

She should just smack him again.

He would have deserved it! She could have died of grief!

She narrowed her eyes at her friend. "Well next time you're not getting a hand out. You'll have to do something to deserve it." And at the rate that he was going, he'd just be getting another smack.

Squeeee! They were going to the same school! She could have twirled... and jumped around. And she probably would have... except she was attached to Alec and refused to let him go. EVER. She lost him once and was NOT going to let it happen again.

Growing up was like a roller coaster of emotions! Gee whiz!

She then narrowed her eyes once again. "Hey! I'm not that bad." she complained. She was perfectly normal. Well... as normal as one could act after finding out their best friend was going to Hogwarts too!

Carter turned his head to the side watching the younger kids. Merlin. He was never going to get used to the fact that his BABY sister was growing up.

Growing up much, much too fast.

Merlin. He needed to get out of here... before he pried the neighbor boy off his sister.

Anyone?

Adeline looked around. She wondered if she was going to make more than two friends. More than one friend was amazing. She hadn't had any friends at her muggle school in America and it was because she was always bullied on. She never told her parents about it because they wouldn't give a hoot about it. They never even let her have a Owl. It made her mad that her parents never trusted her with anything. She had a right to be mad about it but she had to put it in the back of her head and she did.

Adeline looked around to see if she knew anyone and she did! Alec and some girl that she didn't know. Who was she?

Thea merely rolled her eyes, and pulled her jacket tighter around her and smoothed out her skirt. Tapping her nails on the bar of her luggage trolley, Thea peered around the platform for a familiar face. Well, almost anybody would do really. She stretched out her spare hand to scratch Maleficent behind the ears.

Before she knew it, Leo had hugged her bye giving her a flick on the head and sloped off to find his own friends so she was alone.. Fabulous.

Well, here we go again. Joanna was ready for her second year at Hogwarts (even though she's a fourth year). Last year was awesome, like she expected, but always the 'first times' are awesome so lets see how this year will go?

After running through the wall (which the fourth year still found it a little weird) she made her way to one of the platforms, alone. She was glad that those muggle looks and stares had stopped, they made her feel awkward. The muggles had looked at her not because she was wearing robes or had a broomstick, it was because of her pet hawk owl, "Stare". Why did seem to be unusual to walk in a train station with a very large owl? It's a bit rude. Hmph.

Making her way to the southern platform, she sat on her luggage next to another Gryffindor girl, who seemed to be about her age. The fourth didn't talk to anyone (except her cousin) today, which was a bit depressing, so without hesitation she began talking to the girl. "Hey," she said with her 'unusual' American accent. Some people thought it was funny and cool but on the other hand some found it weird.

'Hi..' One hand still scratching her cat's ears, Thea looked the girl up and down. Sighing, she mashed her lips together as she averted her gaze. She looked slightly older. Like Thea cared.. she normally had spoken to older students before. Friends with some of them...

No reaction from the accent meant that this girl isn't a snob. Yes.

Smiling at her and even giving a small wave to her pet cat Joanna said friendly, "I'm Joanna, but everyone usually calls me Joe or JoJo." For some reason she always says her name (and nicknames) when she meet someone new. Her parents always told her that she shouldn't say her name before she's sure that the person she's talking to isn't a freak (or worse...). Like the freak from the carnival that she met last year. Horrible memories. Bur she never listened to them.

Oh. So this girl wanted to talk. Ok. Thea turned back to face her. Eurgh. Why was this girl so.. happy?! 'Nice too meet you..' She managed to smile. 'I'm Thea. Gryffindor..' She waved a hand. She had no idea why she had mentioned she was in Gryffindor.. Hm.

Maleficent just simply stared at the new arrival; her tail began to flick backwards and forwards as she watched Joanna. Thea watched her cat for a moment, then turned back to Joe and smiled.

SarcasticStrawberry 12-24-2011 02:33 AM

anyone and Amy and Kita.

Asher rushed on ahead of the group of people that he was with after he walked through the wall into the platform with his trunk, owl Avis, cat Merlin , and pygmy puff Cormac. He couldn't wait to get to hogwarts. Caroline had told him that they have a hidden swiming pool. He was going to find it with the help of Anya Phillips of course. And maybe that Alec guy he seem cool.

He had to find his friends that he had made over the summer. And what a great summer it had been. So many fun times. Hope fully many more ahead. They had to ride in the same compartment for their first train ride to Hogwarts. He had exploding snap in his pocket so he could so them how to play.

Caroline walked through the other side of the barrier. Merlin where did that little boy get to? She had seen him run into the wall but after that he was gone.

Ah there.

"Asher! Wait for us." She shouted over the noise of the others and the train.

It was hard for her to believe that a few months ago she was getting off the Hogwarts express for the last time. All of the excitement of remembering her first ride on the Hogwarts express made her miss the fact that she would be getting on it the time.

Caroline glanced around for any of her younger friends at Hogwarts. Their may even be some that were with their younger siblings.

Then the scarlet train caught her eye...... could she just sneak on board and go back one more term she wouldn't even mind being there with Asher.

Marshall could hardly believe that his son was getting ready to go on his first ride on the Hogwarts Express and go to Hogwarts. His daughter Caroline had just finished Hogwarts last term. He had just been here a few months ago to pick Caroline up for the last time.

He was very proud of his daughter. She was becoming a great healer. Tutshill was a lucky team to have her as their Healer.

"It's alright, Carly. He won't get on the train with saying bye to us." Marshall chuckled and put his arm around his daughter and walked with her across the platform.

He himself was thinking about his first time on the Hogwarts Express. Looking back now. He realized just how much his son was like him. He smiled as he watched his son rush ahead looking for someone apparently. He had no idea what adventures laid ahead of him over the next seven years.

He was sure going to miss his son. But it was time for him to go and learn all the things he needed to know.

GinevraWeasley 12-24-2011 02:41 AM

Vlimia walked onto the platform, surveying the crowd for somebody she knew. She quickly spotted someone that looked slightly familiar, so she said a brief farewell to her parents and little sister. Her big brother was a seventh-year, so he had gone to goof off with his friends instead of hug his family. Of course, he had to keep his "image".
Vlim walked away from her family, with her magical trunk and beautiful spotted owl (caged, obviously) in a big trolley. She was a little nervous, since it was her first year, but she rubbed the blue sapphire that hung around her neck, and felt better. Her mother had given the necklace to her for her eleventh birthday, and it was charmed with a simple confidence spell. Vlimia smoothed her red and green plaid skirt and walked towards the familiar person. "Adeline? I haven't seen you in FOREVER!" Vlim exclaimed, prepared to be all jumping-up-and-down-giggling-with-excitement-OMG-like, but also ready to calm down. "What house do you think you'll be in? I like the sound of Ravenclaw, but I don't know what my parents will say if I'm not a Slytherin." Vlimia contemplated, knowing exactly what her parents would say. First, they would express how dissapointed they were in her, and then they would apologize to her because there was probably a mix-up in the Sorting, and then they would demand a re-sort. Or... they could never know.
Vlimia wasn't a natural liar, she was actually only practised in the area of kindly fibs, but when it came to her parents getting involved with the one thing they didn't control (school) Vlim was all business. They would be none the wiser to her house... if she could get her brother to not tell. She had enough dirt on him that she could blurt out at any given time, so she was probably safe in that area.
But that all depends on which house Vlimia gets sorted into... RAVENCLAW or SLYTHERIN.

HazelStone101 12-24-2011 03:22 AM

Jayden walked over to the platform, her luggage close beside her. You never knew if some crazy first year would try and pull a prank on your luggage. "Ahh....Snowflake! Another year at Hogwarts!" She cooed peering in to look at her owl. Jayden loved Hogwarts, it was like a second home to her. Even though Jayden had a good relationship with her family, it was always nice to spend some time away from them as well.

Now where were Cael, Pam, Jordan, and Faina? The severe lack of them all was driving her absolutely batty.

Hmph.

Anya just rolled her eyes. Alec was insane. "You only wish that I'd give you tons of hugs and kisses." she said with a laugh. She sneaked a look at her brother. Oh good. He looked occupied. She didn't want him to overhear their conversation. He might get the wrong idea.

She didn't even like boys like that. Much.

Ahem. Anyway.

He just better be glad she missed him so much. Otherwise she probably would have punched him again... just for fun. Or found a water balloon to throw at him. She wasn't really picky on the form of payback.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "You don't like normal." Which was why they were such brilliant friends.

O_O

Wait what?

No. NO! NO introductions. They were just going to be Alec and Anya forever. She eyed the approaching girl. It had to be a girl, didn't it? She probably enjoyed kites and ice cream too.

"Anya..." she said introducing herself. She was still looking the girl over. She should probably play nice, huh?

But she didn't want to! She finally had Alec back and she wanted him ALL to herself.

Anya was busy making judgmental eyes playing nice with her new classmates when she spotted someone making their way through the barrier.

"Asher!!" she shouted doing a little jumping wave. "Oh. I made a friend too." she told Alec. "He's the one that I saw when I went to visit my brother." She motioned for Asher... and crew... to come join them.

Carter whipped around when he heard Anya calling for Asher. He smiled a little seeing the little guy. "Hey Asher. How's it going?" he asked him with a nod. He then turned toward Caroline. "Hey. Caroline. Mr Romalotti." he said greeting both of them.

"It's good to see you again." he said turning back to Caroline.

Seeing as he was still rather early and the train wasn't due for another hour or so, Edric wandered aimlessly from the north end of the platform, to the south end.

After a while, the boy decided to just sit down and take a rest.
Dumping his heavy trunk to the floor, near a wall, Edric sat on the floor with his back against the trunk. It was nice and isolated where he was, just how he liked it, ever the asocial teenager. He couldn't help but feel just the slightest bit worried, though - why were all the people in the platform twelve and under? Seriously, everyone was so tiny and young. Was he in the wrong platform? Had he accidentally enrolled himself in a school for tweens or something?

Pulling out a bag of sour gummy worms from his pocket, Edric watched absentmindedly as the children interacted and got to know each other.

How cute.

NOT.
Could time please move a little faster? He wanted to get to the castle already and see if it's really as grand as everyone said it was.

I hope you don't mind if Jasper pops in he has to pick up Caroline.

Jasper ran through the wall and he was on the other side before he even blinked. Woah! Just a year go he had been there, with his mum by his side wishing him good luck and one day he would be there with him child and he would look back on the day that he first went to Hogwarts. His first and last year ever. But he had fun and now he had to think about Caroline, his unborn baby and his career.

Jasper walked on and looked for the blonde. When he spotted her, he walked up to her and kissed her cheek. "Surprise."

Adeline heard foot steps behind her and she knew that it wasn't Alec it was someone else. She turned to see who it was and it was the very first friend she had made in Diagon Alley well her very first friend in well ever. Vlim. "VLIM!! How have you been?" Adeline asked the girl. "I want to be in Ravenclaw." she told her.

Adeline looked around the crowd and saw a older student. Maybe if she talked to older students just maybe she wouldn't be so nervous. Though in her muggle life she hadn't had any friends at all just bullies. The norm for her and what she thought was normal but it really wasn't.

Adeline walked up to him and smiled. "Hello."

Usually, Alex was accompanied by a parent of some sort when he headed down to the platform for school, but this year, he was by himself. He didn't really care, he knew he was more than capable of boarding the train and getting to school without adult supervision. Still, he couldn't help but feel a little lonely. Maybe he'd go check up on Sierra later on the train, just to see how she was.

Whistling happily to himself, he paused and set his trunk down on the ground, wiping his brow of the small amount of sweat that had started to accumulate. He should probably go and try and locate one of those trolley things to help him move the trunk...then again, he was halfway to the baggage area, was there really any point?

Okay this was MADNESS!

Mortimer lugged the trunk behind him while his cute little Westland Green Newt sat on his shoulder... just hanging out. His little newt tongue flicking out every now and then, his little eyes going this way and that TAKING IT ALL IN.

If only Mortimer had been able to hang out on someone's shoulder and take it all in. BAH. Tugging with all his might he FINALLY came to a stop at the south side of the platform... next to a boy who was whistling. "Hey you there... You know when this train thing is COMING to get us? And are there people to like... um... put our things on the train FOR us?" Because he did NOT want to. At all. TELL ME OH HOGWARTS BOY OF WISDOMMMM.

ALL OF YOUS....*points to the Kita, Caroline, and Carterness....and ANYA*

Marilyn knew it'd be tough for the small girl...but Anya would see as soon as she got to the large school. There was so much to do, so many places to explore. She'd been there seven years and hadn't seen everything...

...but in the next instant, a small boy who looked to be about her age was rushing Carter's sister...and kissing her cheek.

Her eyes widened as she turned to look at Carter. Who was this child? Why was he kissing Anya? Why wasn't Carter saying anything?! Not meaning to eve's drop, she overheard the name 'Alec' and immediately understood...

So this was the little boy that Anya had a crush on back home. How perfectly had that worked out? He'd be making the trip with the girl...HOLD ON.

He was going to be at Hogwarts....with Anya.....alone, practically?!

Placing her hand to her chest, Marilyn tried to calm her nerves. Merlin help her if this boy even stepped a toe out of line. She could be there in a second...and there would be things broken. Things he WOULD miss...

"Are you almost ready to leave?" Her nerves couldn't take much more of this...but someone was joining them...

O.O

Caroline...

To be safe, she'd keep her mouth closed. Marilyn had nothing nice to say this this particular female and to keep from making a scene, she'd glare instead. Glaring was fun...and she was adeptly skilled in the art.

Alex didn't realize at first that someone was talking to him, and when he finally noticed the boy asking him when the train was coming, he stopped whistling abruptly and cleared his throat. "Well, erm, I think we like, half an hour or so still," he said, checking his watch. Yup. Still a little over half an hour. "And you have to put your own trunk on the baggage cart," he explained. "Or take it with you, I guess, and put it in the little storage areas in the compartment," he added.

He looked at the boy's gecko thing and raised an eyebrow. Uggh. Animals. He was SO glad Cale let him keep that awful toad home with him. He wasn't sure why his brother-in-law even bought him that--when had he EVER given any indication that he'd like a toad??. Realizing his thoughts were getting off track, he shrugged. "You could ask someone to do it for you too, I guess," he added. Typical Alex. Always thinking of at least 3 or 4 different solutions for a simple problem.

He hoped the boy didn't take that as an offer from him...he had his own heavy trunk to worry about and no one to help him!

Hmmmm... half an hour? Get someone else to do it? He could get behind that idea. He could indeed. "You know many people around here?" he asked almost timidly. Scuffing the toe of his shoe on the ground he turned his eyes back to the boy.

"I met one girl... I think she was a Slytherin. And well -- that's about it really. My brother had me working most of the summer in his art studio. I didn't get a chance to socialize if you will," he said pathetically. Perhaps this boy would carry his things for him, yes? PERHAPS.

Pixie <3

Apparently Josh had been wrong when he thought it could be a little bit troublesome when the time to show how run through a solid wall to his sister in order to get to the platform 9 3/4. The girl seemed to have no problem with it at all which made Josh feel proud. She was a Carter girl after all. She was his sister and it looked like she was going to present the family well in school.

''The journey to Hogwarts is a bit long but friends can make it fun. You will find tons of friends, either your age or older, in the train.'' and he was not going to tell her not to be shy and make friends with them. No. He knew he needed to tell her soething else. ''This will be the very first time that you'll be meeting 'magical people' i know. And i also know how odd, funny...and stuff like that they might look. But do NOT be hard on them. Do NOT tease their means. And, please, try not to offend anyone about their preferences of books, food and clothes. AND...about anything else that i forgot to warn you about right now.''

Then he gave his sister 'the look'.

Since the moment she practically ran though the wall, Lea had been smirking and laughing. That had been brilliant. Awesome and, of course, genius. No non-magical people would thought of walking through a solid was so, yes, it was a genius way to hide the train and stuff, train stuff with the people on it. She had been very excited and unable to wait to meet them all yet her big brother being all like their mother was annoying her a bit so as he kept telling her what NOT-to-do, she grimaced a bit and elbowed him. ''When i told you stop talking to the witch you ignored me soooo it is my turn. I am ignoring your words too. You are NO fun at all.''

And it was not like she was going to make them live their worst moments in their lives, was it?

All trunks are ready. All bags, all books, all stuffs... ready and made sure it all fit into those 2 trunks. 2 trunks is actually a new record for Jonathan, he usually has a lot to bring but not this term. Thankfully, his mother Victoria had to go visit Jonathan's uncle in France. They really badly needed her help. Victoria was a bit disappointed that she couldn't see her son take that train this year but his father did say he was already old enough to handle this. Quite frankly, Jonathan was glad that he can go alone this year.

Jonathan then sat on the south end of the platform to wait for the Hogwarts' Express to arrive. Normally, he sits in the front part of the train, because the back potion was usually packed and chaotic. This time, he'd like to see the chaotic scene.

Fixing his trunks and stuff onto his side, he glanced at the place. Still not many people had arrive. Jonathan can't wait to go to Hogwarts!

Having walked through the barrier, Kurumi had been aimlessly walking around the platform, helping any strangling student that might need attention and trying her best to prevent any trollies from crashing into one another. Thankfully, she had been successful thus far.

With a small smile on her face, Kurumi looked down the crowded platform in front of her to see...someone who she could have recognized from across Diagon Alley if the case had called for it. Her eyes widened and her pace picked up a bit, her free hand reached into the pocket on her skirt for the wrapper that she STILL had with her.

"J-JOSH!" she called out, waving her hand. OH? Who was the younger girl with him. Kurumi stopped her forward movement and sort of bowed awkwardly in their direction. "H-Hey..."

Josh took a deep breath...

No fun? Now that was a bit offending even to him yet what bothered him more than that was the fact that she was still talking about Evelyn. He stared at the young girl for a moment or so, his eyes getting narrowed within that time. He could understand why she would be angry at him and he knew she was trying to do her best to make him regret it. He was not going to play this game with the little girl.

''Fine! Do whatever you want just be 'respectful' to those you must respect and i already told you who they are.''

Then there was a familiar voice that called his name, automatically the young man looked up only to see Kurumi whose sight brought a smile to his face. ''Kurumi!'' he exclaimed walking forward to give her quick hug. Well...how lucky of him to find Kurumi here, she was prefect after all so she could save her from the torture of having to deal with Lea. ''Back for another year at Hogwarts, huh? You look good and ready.''

Then, from her shoulder, he pushed his sister towards the Gryffindor girl a bit. ''Lea, this is Kurumi Hollingberry, one of my good friends and she is the Gryffindor prefect.''

As she was totally making it obvious that she was ignoring her brother's words, the girl flipped her long, dark hair back and just looked around at anything but Josh's face. She was very well aware of the fact that, he did not like it when she mentioned the witch again. Hah!!! He deserved it. He did deserve it. So, Lea was not really bothered about it at all. She just avoided her brother's gaze so he would not catch her smirk. But then...there was someone else who was calling her brother.

Whooo was that?

Dark brown eyes narrowing, he eyed the girl as her brother hugged her. Another witch, perhaps.

Kurumi Hollingberry...prefect and friend.

Good. She did not know what prefect meant but she did not care anyway. The 'friend' part was good. So smiling a bit, she looked up and waved at the girl. ''Hello, Kurumi Hollingberry, prefect. I am Lea...Lea Carter.''

Kurumi's hair flickered a deep pink color for a moment as Josh wrapped his arms around her. She was really going to miss moments like these this coming term. Heck, she was going to miss seeing Josh lounging in the common room, fighting with Walnut about something. "Of course," she giggled. Why wouldn't she be back? "Someone has to try and keep up the name of Gryffindor without you." That you came off the tongue a lot harder than she thought it would. It had been months since Josh had graduated, and she thought that she was comfortable with the notion not. But...in this moment, it hit her just how weird it was going to be without last year's seventh years at Hogwarts.

She blushed a bit when he complimented her. "You are looking good too."

Kurumi turned her gaze just in time to see the younger girl narrowing her eyes at her. Um...awkward...not that Kurumi wasn't accustomed to people glaring at her. She had rather hoped that there would be less of it this term though.

"Lea," Kurumi repeated with a small smile. Josh's sister? Was she anything like Josh? If so...Kurumi was going to have her hands full this term. "Nice to meet you too, but please just call me Kurumi." She offered a proper bow this time.

Jonathan stared at his pocket watch and looked at the ground. A little more time and then the train will officially come to its destination and then he will be at Hogwarts before he knows it. Sixth year is rather relaxed rather than last term and surely, the year after this. At least though, 2 more years. Jonathan will be missing Hogwarts a lot but it would be nice to go out and explore the world too.

Then out of nowhere a girl was introducing herself to him. Laura. Second Year. Ravenclaw. Jonathan looked at her for a moment and just stared for quite awhile. Jonathan doesn't acquaint himself much to people, most especially to strangers whom he just met his entire life. Thankfully though, this girl didn't accidentally stepped on his toe nor his feet because Jonathan can really remember all the girls who had stepped onto his aching toe. Yes, he has a list of them.

He noticed that he stared at her for awhile already. He blinked. "Yeah, nice to meet you... uhmmm. Laura" he repeated her name. He pursed his lips and sighed.

He noticed that he stared at her for awhile already. He blinked. "Yeah, nice to meet you... uhmmm. Laura" he repeated her name. He pursed his lips and sighed.

Laura was kind of taken aback by the stare..She felt awkward..'Nice to meet you too..,' Now what was his name?

Jonathan gave a small smile at the girl. Yup, he doesn't know her that much to give out his name even if this was just a purpose to ease the conversation. After hearing her reply to Jonathan, he took a step back and nodded. And then again gave a small smile.

"Excuse me..." he said as he walked to another corner of the platform.

Finding a bench to sit on the other side, he decided to just sit down even though there was already another girl sitting on it. They both don't need to introduce each other too... and if he's lucky, this girl wouldn't be also the talker type.

Jonathan then fixed his hair to one side, it's good to be back to being a brunette this time. Being blonde for the whole summer didn't really make it that much exciting. Sitting down next to the girl he gave a smile and a slight bow, "Is this seat taken?" he asked her.

As usual, Jory made his way to the back of the train. This year he was alone, not that he minded. His parents had to attend a funeral of one of his dad's co-workers who died during an undercover operation. His Dad had also been undercover on the same operation. Jory shivered at the thought of if it was his Dad whom had gotten killed instead...
Jory was quite happy his mother hadn't insisted on coming with him. He had noticed his parents giving him some space to which he was grateful about.
Finally, after passing loads of excited students and pets, Jory found an empty compartment. Lugging his trunk after him, he shut the door and with some difficulty stowed his trunk above. Then he sat back on a seat, resting his head against the window and waited for the Train to leave.

For Laila/Louisa :D

Adam was walking towards the platform, not fully believing that it was already the end of the summer break. Honestly, where had the time gone? He had been having such an amazing summer with his grandfather that honestly he hadn't wanted it to end, but the fact that he would be seeing all his friends like Paulie and Louisa made the departure easier than it probably would have been other wise.

Spotting an open bench Adam filed over it to, plopping down his backpack and leaning his suitcase against the stone pillar next to him. He figured he was a bit early so he had a moment or so to just...well...chill.

"Oh come off it, you don't scare anyone." Actually, that was a total lie. Even at about five foot, the redheaded girl was scary. You would never think so by just looking at her, but she was actually quite terrifying sometimes.

After a few more yards of shoving, they finally made it to the portal between platforms 9 and 10, to 9 3/4. First Selina ran through like a maniac, then a chuckling Mr. Skylar, and an irritated Mrs. Skylar. Giving his sister a knowing smile, he followed suit and ran through the portal, Elyon clinging for dear life to the cart.

Selina ran fast through the wall and then dragged her feet into a complete stop as she heard the train whistle. Her blue eyes sparkled as she came upon the sight of the beautiful train sitting waiting to invite students inside. At the sight of the train the small redhead just wanted to run inside and meet up with Kurumi who she had only seen once over the summer when she revealed she was Captain, she wanted to tackle Gideon, laugh with her friends, meet up with new students and hopeful Gryffindor prospects but most of all she wanted to go back to school. Most students at other schools were not that enthusiastic about school, much less spending almost the wholw year there, but Hogwarts was different.

Then she turned sideways to look at her family and the James children. She smirked at Chris and said, "We're going back!"

Baaahh! There was no one in there? Why ask? And Erin seemed to be pacing from here and there, ashamed that she she was all alone, waiting for the train's arrival. Duh? And was he playing the Hogwarts good guy with all the so nice to little girls thingy? Pffft! Just so lame. "There's no one sitting," Erin answered not really looking towards the boy who asked.

When she finally turned around, oh! She was right! Another girl whom she had a big fight with but ended up to say sorry instead and be in good terms to one another. Oh-Em-Gee! Wasn't he the guy whom the Miss Know-It-All Kurumi Hollingberry spends so much time with? Or was he her boyfriend now? This was golden! "You're Jonathan Kim!" Erin exclaimed. Jonathan Kim approached her. Was this for real? Like her all time crush was in front of her? NO way! "The seat's not taken yet. You can sit here," Erin blurted out moving from her side to give space to the cutie boy.

"I want to be in Ravenclaw too... we might be in the same house!" Vlim said excitedly. Then she turned to the two people that Adeline had been talking to. "Hi, I'm Vlimia Maze." She addressed the two people, holding out a hand to the first of the two.

Aaaaand safe to the station. Louisa smiled faintly seeing the track that Hogwarts Express should be coming on soon and walked on with her trunk dragged behind. Viola, her tabby cat was still too lazy to follow closely by and was just loping here and there.

It was when the girl's blue eyes found the grown up boy sitting on the bench with a dozen of- WHAO! She was trotting toward him and throwing her arms around his neck. "ADAM!" It was THREE months since she'd seen the boy or heard from him. Basically because she was unable to contact him from Brazil but he was on her mind all this time. Letting go and cramming herself next to him, she grinned at him, "Looking old, buddy. How have you been?"

Josh/Lea as well ;)

She didn't know why she was here. Though she did know why the thought had crossed her mind.

For seven years she had arrived on this platform, only to board the train to Hogwarts, only this time, she had no reason to do so. There was nothing weird about a recently graduated student arriving on platform nine and three-quarters just for old times sake, right? That was normal...right?

Hands shoved lazily in the pockets of her jeans, the ex-Slytherin walked around the platform, keeping out of the way of most of the kids and their parents while she searched for familiar faces. Lots of new faces, that was for sure. Finally though, a very familiar sight entered her vision, making her face brighten a little. Just a little though. Once she realized what the heck happened...she scowled.

Cookie Girl making her smile. Evelyn still found that a little foreign.

It didn't go past her just who the Gryffindor girl was bowing to either. While Evelyn wasn't particular fond of the few arrangements that happened recently, it wasn't like she wasn't happy to see Josh. Or his little sister for that matter.

Not that she'd ever admit so...

"Still the same greetings, Kurumi?" she said with the hint of an amused smile on her lips as she stood a few feet away from the Gryffindor group...rather awkwardly.

Surely enough, seeing Kurumi brought that smile on Josh's face. Actually she was among those people he had been hoping to see once he agreed to bring his sister to King's Cross. And especially her because he had been carring around something that he was supposed to give her long ago. He was lucky that she found him...well...them...before she left for Hogwarts.

Keep up the name of Gryffindor without him...that sounded sad but true. Someone had to keep showing others how awesome Gryffindor was. Of course, Kurumi could do that and...he looked at his sister for a moment. To be honest he had no idea where she would be sorted. She had that very...Slytherin attitude after all. Time was going to show him.

''Now that i am gone. Perhaps there will be less point loss from the red hourglass, at least.''
Laughing a bit he eyed his sister again. Eh...he hoped so. ''So...you are a big prefect now. Well...'' leaning forward, the ex-Gryffindor started to whisper in her ear. ''She is completely from a muggle background so she is learning everything yet. Just...i want things that can make a trouble out of her knowledge. Okay?''

Huh?

The young girl was confused. Why...why on earth this Kurumi Hollingberry and prefect girl was doing that? Bowing to her...? Turning around the dark-haired girl looked back to see if she had adressed it to someone else but...nope...there was no one else there. After blinking a few times, a broad smirk appeared on her face. ''HAHAHAHAHA...you are odd.'' She knew she was going to get the glare from her big brother but she did not care. ''Kurumi...you have a weird name too. What does it mean? Does it have a meaning at all?''

No, she was not looking at the big brother again. Because she knew she was going to get 'the unhappy look' from him again and she did not want him to ruin her fun moment. This Kurumi girl was funny after all. The way she bowed was funny. Her name was funny too. And then...Lea heard someone else talking to this Kurumi and that person looked like she had spotted the weird acts of the Kurumi girl too. So the little girl laughed again but...when her eyes, which were a darker brown than her brother's, took in who that was, they widened a bit.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh....

Almost jumping at where she stood, she pointed at the girl-woman person excitedly. ''Look!!! LOOK!!! It is the witch!!!'' She looked up at her brother, then back to the newly comer. ''I did not know witches could walk through the wall too.''

''LEA!!!'' Josh almost roared at the girl's rudeness towards Kurumi but it was already too late. So he did not know what to do to apologise or...what else? Did him apologising to her have any meaning at all? Scowling, he was about to scold the girl when she suddenly mentioned 'the witch' and he knew that term she used was not the same with the one wizarding people used everyday. Hopefully they might miss what the little girl meant by 'witch'. After running a hand though his hair and taking a deep breath to keep himself alive, Josh looked at Evelyn and gave her a nod. ''Everyone has a name, Lea. Do try to be rude again...you will regret it.''

Maleficent just simply stared at the new arrival; her tail began to flick backwards and forwards as she watched Joanna. Thea watched her cat for a moment, then turned back to Joe and smiled.

Thea. Nice name. Thea didn't seem to be a very talkative person, probably because she's shy. Joanna looked at Thea's cat, it was so cute. Joanna thought that any animal is cute and adorable, except from snails and slugs. She hated touching their slime. Ew.

"Can I pet him?" she asked Thea sweetly, hoping that her cat is a male. Hopefully Stare, her hawk very large owl, won't notice (he probably will, he sees everything). Last time she petted another pet, he avoided her for a week. He didn't accept the food she gave him, and he ignored her calls. He's just a very jealous bird.

Pfsssshhh... The girl didn't even look at him when she answers. How rude?! Jonathan narrowed his eyes and then laid his sling bag onto his side and took a seat. Well, he does want to sit somewhere rather than standing while waiting for the train.

0__________0. Jonathan blinked.
The girl mentioned his name but they have never been acquainted before. Not once in any of the past terms. Jonathan looked puzzled. Is she a younger sister of a friend. A person he was introduced at the party by his mother? Jonathan has never met this girl and yet she knew her name... weird. She's not even Slytherin. Not to be rude though "H-how'd..." he wanted to ask her "I'm sorry, and you are?" he can't seem to remember her, not even her face.

Surprisingly too, this girl was quite rude at first but now that she knew him, she suddenly became sooo friendly. Jonathan looked around, is he the only one finding this weird?!?!?!?!

Haha! Yeah, Erin's actions were weird in a sense that well, ahhhh! Standing next to him was, was, this was her crush since like, since like forever! Well, he could be next to Professor Roslund whom she so adore. That's why she's done all she could do to master Astronomy and gain favoritism from him but he didn't seemed to care that much.

In order to redeem herself from the rudeness she had shown earlier, she looked at Jonathan's eyes, gaaah, he was cute. 'Erin, you should behave.' Suppressing herself from the giggle that so wanted to leave her mouth, Erin started to talk, "I'm Erin." She did not answer any of his questions. She had not even heard a single of them. All she wanted was to clean her stained name in Jonathan's mind because of the rudeness earlier.

This was all because of that little bratty sister of hers. If only, she could turn back time.

Yes, she could say something more, she had so much to say after all. "Well, I am a second year Ravenclaw. You're inclined to Kurumi Hollingberry I guess?" asked Erin. Did she just said that? Why would she say that? She would say, 'You need something else? Food? Water?'

Does it have a meaning at all?''

Kurumi half smiled and half frowned when Josh mentioned the hourglasses. While she couldn't deny that a small part of her died every time she say Gryffindor lose points during the term, if there was anything that Josh taught her it was that points were simply a bonus for ones actions and not something that defined them. Josh had left a strong legacy with the school, a positive one as far as the now fifth year was concerned, and he did that without being the top point earner.

"I wouldn't say that I am big..." she began before cutting herself off when Josh leaned in to whisper in her ear. Did he KNOW that doing these things always made her blush? Then again, knowing Josh he probably got a kick out of her reaction. "Ooooooooh," Kurumi nodded. "So...she is just like me before I came to Hogwarts. I'll do my best to guide her. Promise." But...she was a Carter...no telling WHAT was going to happen.

After she had promised Josh she would do what she could, Kurumi's attention was back on his little sister and her...questions. Ones she had certainly heard before. "Well...my name could mean a few things. The actually word Kurumi means walnut, but in Japan we have a writing system called kanji. My name has three of these kanji and they each mean something...and comes out to meaning "long time," "detain," and "beauty." " Which was probably a lot more than the first year wanted to hear.

Always...?

Well, whatever made her broom fly...

Although, before she could give a proper greeting to the girl, her ears were filled with the loud noise. Perhaps it was best she hadn't really spoken to Josh's sister before. Having splitting headaches all the time just wouldn't suit her very well; mostly from confusion no doubt. Of course she was a witch. Duh. Though something in the way the young girl said it had Evelyn thinking there was a different meaning behind it.

For the sake of her own sanity, she took it as a compliment.

"Right." she muttered, brushing off the confusing 'compliment' as she smiled a little at Josh in return for the nod. And that...that was that. Evelyn was kinda regretting interrupting their conversation now. What the heck was she supposed to say now after THAT? Leaning back on her heels, she sighed a little and...huh.

...

"Right..." She was going to just go snoop around the platform a little more she supposed. "Have a fun year you two."

Food? Water?'

Her name is Erin... Erin... Erin... Jonathan looked at the ground but his mind was trying to find if he knows any Erin... Sadly though, her name doesn't ring-a-bell to him. She looks Asian, she could be Chinese, or Japanese or maybe, Korean? Maybe he knows her somewhere in between that? Jonathan's head then shifted to her when she started to talk again...

Then he smiled, Kurumi knows her. As she continued, Jonathan smirked. Inclined? Really? Was that the word for it? "She's my girlfriend" he said as he put his hands onto his pockets. Well, that was the perfect word for it. "You guys know each other" he nodded his head but the grin on his face was still stuck. Then he just realized something, Erin knew him too well. "Kurumi must be good at describing me" he mumbled to himself.

Really cute, Kurumi.

Of course, where were his manners?! "6th year, Slytherin." he said as he gestured his hand forward for a handshake. "You?" he didn't catch what year was she. Did she mention it?

It was all in his face! He couldn't seem to remember a name like Erin. Well, she wouldn't blame him, Erin was low-profiled last term. And she only talks to her batchmates who were his close friends as well. Feeling like, she needed to explain herself, Erin started to talk...again"We...I mean, you and I, we actually don't know each other before. Neither Kurumi," she added upon hearing the familiar name.

Oh! So, they were together now. It's not really surprising given all the time they had spent together. She would admit, she did stalk some of that. First year life. Nothing to do. And a Ravenclaw always finishes her homework on time, what to do after that? Hang around the corners or Hogwarts ad spot lovers everywhere. Puh-leeese! "No, no! We do not know each other. She's just too popular to not know," Erin admitted.

He. He was offering his hand? For a handshake? Merlin! She almost forgot the handshake manners. Of all the introductions she had in Diagon Alley, there were no handshakes, which only proves that Erin was not the Erin she was before. In an instant, she extended her soft and warm hands towards the waiting hand of Jonathan,"Nice to meet you Jonathan, officially." She smiled. Oh! She should answer his question. "I'm second year. Ravenclaw."

Adam was reaching into his pocket to pull out the list he'd made while packing, figuring he could use the spare time to double check that he'd gotten everything he needed when he heard the sound of luggage wheels rapidly approaching in his direction. Before he even had a chance to look up and process who it was that was coming towards him with such enthusiasm, a pair of arms were tightly gripped around his neck, his name being yelled enthusiastically into his ear. Ahh...it was Louisa.

With a little chuckle Adam wrapped his arms around her waist, giving her a tight squeeze before letting go. He scooted over so she had room to plop down next to him, smiling as he absentmindedly rubbed the bit of scruff on his face. "I'm starting to feel kind of old," Adam said with a little shake of the head. "My grandpa has been making all sorts of comments about how I've practically transformed into a man right under his nose. At first I wasn't seeing it, but even now I have to admit I don't really look like a little kid anymore." His grandfather had even commented that Adam's voice seemed deeper to him, but honestly Adam couldn't tell.

"So how was your summer break? Did you have fun in Florida with Dallin? Were you able to get around to surfing at all?" Adam asked, shifting his body slightly so that he was more facing Louisa. "And...uh...how was Brazil?" Adam asked, not really wanting to know but figuring it would be impolite to not ask since Adam knew that Louisa was going there.

Jonathan gave out a small laugh. So if she says that Jonathan doesn't know her and neither does Kurumi then does that mean she knew them both from someone, somewhere? This is really interesting to talk about. Probably she had saw them together in one of their dates perhaps? Who knows really. Jonathan doesn't really pay attention to the things or people around him when he is doing something.

Jonathan raised his eyebrow, yeah, so clearly she knew the two of them from someone or probably somewhere. Kurumi doesn't know her quite exactly. Jonathan thought she knew him from her. Not this time though. "yeah, she is quite popular." prefect... cookie girl... and to some professors miss-know-it-all. Marilyn never liked Kurumi though.

"You too..." he shook her hand "... Erin" he repeated her name just to be sure that he said it correctly. Jonathan can sometimes tend to forget names a lot. It's one of his weaknesses. At least now, Erin introduced more about herself to him. So she's a second year, Ravenclaw. That's why he barely knows her. She was a new student last term.

Now, for the most awaited question that Jonathan had been curious to ask "are you half?" may it be Chinese, Korean or Japanese "or pure?" he asked. She never mentioned her last name, so Jonathan doesn't really know.

Adeline walked up to him and smiled. "Hello."

Edric had finished up all of his sour gummy worms and pulled out a book, when something tiny and high-pitched approached him.

Looking up from his book slowly, the boy raised an eyebrow. What, did this kid lose their babysitter or something? Of course the biggest curmudgeon in all of England would have to end up being an accidental babysitter.

"What do you want?" he asked the little girl, his right hand absentmindedly folding a corner of the page from the book he was reading. Just in case this took a while and he couldn't get back to this fascinating story right away.

Seriously? Through the course of this discussion, all the time Kurumi's name would be mentioned, he'll be like, 'She's quite popular', 'She's my girlfriend', and that mumbling thing earlier, yes, Erin heard that as well. She's got a good ear. 'Kurumi must be good at describing me.' This was sickening! She needed to redirect the conversation about Jonathan, only him and nothing that involved her girlfriend.

Haha. And when she heard the name Erin, she felt that tickling sensation run 'round through her entire system. That was shortly cut-off upon hearing Jonathan's follow up question, half or pure? Seriously, were they first years? She had this kind of conversation last term as well, upon arriving at the express. But since, she likes him, it might do her well to answer as casually as possible. "I am Muggleborn," she said. So, a Muggleborn wasn't option now? "How about you?" she asked instantly so as not to lengthen the talk about her status.

Moving on to things about him, "So, do you sing?" asked Erin and then continued, "You do have a good voice."

Muggleborn? She must have misunderstood his question "I-i'm not prejudicial" he waved his hands. She might think that he asked that question because he is one of those snobby Slytherins--- well, that may be true, the snobby part at least--- "I mean your ethnicity. Korean? Japanese? Chinese?" yeah, that's what he meant by half or pure. Although she did have a follow-up up question about his blood heritage, obviously... "Pureblood" he smiled.

But a more frightening question was asked. DOES HE SING? REALLY?! Jonathan shook his head "I don't sing" he replied. Well, he hasn't in the past 5 years of his life at Hogwarts. Although, he does play the piano. "Why did you suddenly ask about that?" where did he get that information anyway?

Edric was surprised to find that, instead of running off and leaving him alone, the first year actually went ahead and introduced herself. The boy merely stared at her, brows furrowed in mild confusion as to why she was still there.

And then the little girl asked him about the book he was reading.
Edric looked down at his book for a brief second before looking back up at the first year. "It's The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald," he explained, noticing the girl's funny accent. She must've been American. There seemed to be quite a few of them in this new school, or at least it seemed that way so far.

"Shouldn't you be with your mummy or daddy, or something?" asked Edric as he laid back more casually against his trunk. What kind of parent would leave their friendly ten-year-old kid free to roam around and torture others with their immaturity and lack of life experience? Someone spare him.

Of course it's a good book, it wasn't considered one of the greatest masterpieces of the 20th century for nothing! But Edric wasn't here to teach children about the history of literature. Instead, he ignored the girl's question.

As Adeline explained her parent situation, Edric merely raised an eyebrow. 'Freaks', huh? That sounded like something his grandfather would say. "A whole hour early?" he asked. The man must've been eager to get rid of this girl. Who wouldn't be, though? Children just took up space. He couldn't wait to be older and… an adult! Yeeaahh. "I'm assuming you're either muggleborn or a halfblood." Not that he cared, but most of the people he'd met so far had been purebloods.

Yay! He meant the ethnicity. That one was a shock differentiating him from other wizards, more of which were Slytherins like him. So, he did noticed te Asian-ness in her. They share the same heritage now. Asia. But Kurumi was an Asian too, yes? "I'm a Korean an half British. I assume you are as well?" Erin could definitely assume. Koreans do look like him or better say, he did look like one of those Korean boy groups. "And wow! A Pureblood! There were still Purebloods?" Well, she just learned from History about Lord Voldemort and all, that almost all Purebloods were joined by other bloods now. Not so sure though.

"I just thought..." said Erin then started blushing, "...well, since you seem to have a soothing voice." It may be all because of Erin's paranoia about this guy. "So, you're inclined to music in any way?" Erin do love music. She just hoped, she'd be sharing the same passion for it with Jonathan.

The Gryffindor began to file her nails. 'So.. are you looking forward to going back to Hogwarts?' She looked up to flash Joanna a quick smile.

So the cat is a female. Ooops.

The Ravenclaw raised her eyebrow, when the cat turned its back to her. Usually she sighs from disappointment that she can't touch another pet, but the cat was so amusing (from the way it turned around) that Joanna simply smiled. "It's okay," she began, "neither does Stares," Joanna said giving a glimpse at her pet, who was staring at Thea with his orange eyes.

Again looking at her bird, who's eyes where still fixed on Thea, she turned her head back to Thea's direction and said, "He's just isn't used to be in cages. He prefers hunting and flying than sitting in a cage." He was just like every bird.

"Yeah," she replied giving a small nod, with a sweet smile. Even in America she looked forward for school, and always missed school when the summer holidays got boring. "You?" Joanna asked Thea, also expecting a 'yes'. She didn't know one person who wasn't looking forward to school.

And there she goes again. She knew that he was half-English and half-Korean. Was this Ravenclaw that resourceful or too resourceful that it can somehow look like a stalker? It's great that he knew the basic facts about Jonathan and whatnot but it's just weird that she knew most of it too.

Blink. Blink. Jonathan can't still believe it though.

"My forefathers were lucky enough to keep our heritage" Since the Kims just migrated to England a century back.

Jonathan's eyes widened and stared at her. She thinks he has a soothing voice. Modesty aside, he has to admit that that 'compliment' is really creepy. Jonathan scratched the back of his neck... oookaaayyy, awkward, much?! "yes, I play the piano" he replied at the latter.... Wait! She didn't know about that.

A corner of Edric's mouth curved just so very slightly in a smirk as Adeline gave him a dirty look. Oh, had he hit a nerve? How adorable! She was getting snappy!

At her following words, he raised his eyebrows in mild surprise. How'd she know he didn't care? Was he being too obvious? You'd think the rude attitude wouldn't have given his lack of interest away.
"You're right, I don't. You must be a mind-reader too," said the boy, turning his gaze back to the book in his hands and pulling it up high enough so that it blocked the first year out of sight.

Ah, much better…
Now he could get back to his book.

If there was anything that Mina completely hated, it was being late to see her friends. Things had been extremely crazy as of late and time had gotten away from her once again.

Silently kicking herself as she made her way through the barrier and onto the platform, she stopped to look around. She had just seem Anya a few days ago, but she told her that she would be there to send her off. She had tried to get Evan to join her but things just didn't seen to work out that morning.

Scanning the platform again, she craned her neck and looked back from the north side of the platform toward the south. She still had some time before the train was to leave, but there were just so many people around. It reminded her of all the times she had been there waiting to take the train to Hogwarts. Oh all the memories.

On second thoughts, maybe not.

Alec couldn't help but let out a chuckle at Anya's comment. "And is there something wrong with wanting a lot of hugs and kisses from my best friend?" he asked, poking Anya on her shoulder. There.

Anya was the only girl he was used to getting hugs and kisses from. And not the soppy stuff older people do. You know... when their lips touch and things gets passed between them. That was gross. But a kiss on the cheek was perfectly fine by him. Especially from his best friend/neighbour/kite flying buddy.

Alec let out another chuckle. "You, Anya, just know me too well," he said, poking his tongue out at her. Not that he was complaining. Anya was a little on the crazy side and that's the way he liked his friends.

And yet, before he could introduce Anya to Adeline, she had done so herself. Good on her. Maybe the two can be good girly friends or whatever it was. "And this is Adeline," he said, "We met at the ice cream store in Diagon Alley." The fact that he bought her ice cream would be added in later.

SPOILER!!: Asher, Caroline and Marshall!

Alec took another moment to look around. Was it just him or had it gotten even busier in here? There were a lot more people rushing around saying their goodbye's and meeting up with... people. Alec tightened his grip on Anya's shoulder as he continued to look around. There were bound to be some other people here, right?

And then his grey-blue eyes fell on one boy in particular. A boy who seemed to be very excited about the train and going to Hogwarts? Alec let out a chuckle. That seemed very typical of Asher Romalotti. But before he could call Asher over...

"It's good to see you again." he said turning back to Caroline.

... Anya did it. But... how did ANYA know ASHER?! Was there something he was missing? Had Asher come round to Anya's whilst Alec was out shopping for his school supplies?

And then Anya explained it all. "Oh!" he said, realising that he HADN'T missed anything. Anya just hadn't mentioned anything about meeting Asher up until now.

... But he, Alec, wasn't bothered by this. Anya could have as many guy friends as she wanted. He didn't care. She would still be his best friend and he hoped that he would remain as hers. Other people *cough*Asher*cough* could try and butt in but it wasn't going to happen.

Now was his time to be truthful as well. "I met Asher in this broom shop in Diagon Alley," Alec said, smiling at Anya, "He taught me everything about the, erm, firebolt?" Did Anya know about this Firebolt?

Thea glared right back at the creepy bird, frowning slightly. Maleficent, still with her back to Joanna and Stares, continued flicking her tail aggressively backwards and forwards. Thea also thought that she heard a slight growl come from the cat..
Cocking her head to the side, Thea looked at Stares. He was a striking bird.. but Thea wasn't too keen on birds. She liked her car far more than she would like some hideous bird with freaky deaky eyes..

Thea shrugged, pouting slightly. 'I suppose yeah, I just miss my Mother quite a bit I guess.' That summer hadn't been the best she'd ever had, and she was worried about leaving her Mother. Very worried. As were her brothers.

SPOILER!!: Jasper and Marilyn
[QUOTE=BowtiesAreCool;10830866]

"Surprise."

...but in the next instant, a small boy who looked to be about her age was rushing Carter's sister...and kissing her cheek.

Carter couldn't help but smile. Marilyn and Anya had really bonded last summer... and he couldn't deny that this was a nice change from Marilyn's... ermm... usual demeanor.

"She'll be fine." he told her with a little arm rub. They'd been there once... and they turned out fine. For the most part.

And... he was about to tell Marilyn that he'd rather stay until the train left... when he spotted someone coming behind Caroline.

And without even thinking his arm found it's way around Marilyn. Why? Because apparently that was what happened when you ran into your ex and her new boyfriend.

"Let's just wait until the train heads off." he said finally responding to Marilyn's question.

Ohhhh was she going to have a few words with him later! Yes she was!

"So... Holiday... are you like us? Muggleborn?" she asked. Or was she always a witch? As in... did she have anyone else to talk to? Because Anya really wanted to have her words with Alec.

She blinked. "What? You know Asher tooooo?!" Gee whiz! Alec was busy making friends, wasn't he? She then turned her eyes on Asher. So Asher just liked talking about brooms?

Did everyone just repeat themselves when it came to her? Alec made a new ice cream friend and Asher made a broom friend.

She took a deep breath. She needed to CALM DOWN. She was getting way too worked up. Maybe Alec... just liked ice cream. Okay, she knew that. And Asher... well, if they were in a broom shop that would obviously be the topic of conversation.

Anya glanced at the clock. It couldn't be that time already! Now that she didn't need to freak out about Alec she was starting to freak out about something else.

Mina promised she'd be here. She glanced at the barrier. Oh! And there she was! "MINA!" she yelled. She untangled herself from Alec and ran over to the older girl. A flying tackle hug later she took a step back and beamed. "Thanks for coming." she said happily.

It was like... ALL her favorite people had come to wish her well.

She was the luckiest girl ever!

Hearing her name being called, Mina stopped and looked in the direction of the voice. She knew that voice and smiled as she turned around completely. Not completely prepared for the impact of her friend's hung, she staggered a bit before regaining her balance.

"Why hello Anya," she smiled as she returned the hug. "Well, I promised and you know how I keep all my promises to the best of my ability." She wasn't going to miss this for the world. "I tried to get Evan here, but he's a busy bee. He sends his wishes and I'll make him come with me next time."

Looking back up at the crowds for a moment, she smiled before motioning toward the train. "Exciting isn't it?"

Inside the beautiful package was...a lacy pair of gloves! what else?

Elliot didn't seem as happy as Presley would have guessed her to be. Her father had come, had he not? She searched the other girls face for a brief second, letting Elliot know she didn't understand the upsetness. But then Elliot's face went cold, devoid of emotion.

Presley seriously loved Elliot's mum. She knew Elliot didn't like her much, but she reminded Presley so much of her own mum. She and Elliot were definitely more alike than they cared to admit. "Goodbye Mrs. Josey," Presley grinned, remembering to use the name she'd requested.

Elliot was suddenly the picture of friendly, shaking Presley's shoulders. It was like with the dissapearance of her family, her fake act went too, and she became the girl she was in Egypt. Herself. "You didn't have to get me anything Elliot," Presley said excitedly as she took the wrapped present. She beamed as she noticed the Ravenclaw themed paper, and gently pulled it off, not ripping any of it. It was a pair of the most gorgeous gloves Presley had ever seen before. "Oh thank you Elliot, they're beautiful!" Presley exclaimed, admiring them.

Then she became serious again, and looked Elliot straight in the eyes. "Are you okay?" she glanced meaningfully at the spot where Darius had dissapparated. Not that she wanted or expected Elliot to tell her anything about why she was upset, she just wanted to make sure she was going to be okay, and that she would get over this. Not that Presley had been eavesdropping or anything, but Darius had told her she'd never dissapointed him before. That was a really good thing right? It meant that her being a Ravenclaw hadn't upset him as much as she thought it had.

Oh... Maybe they could be in the same house. Different rooms and everything but... according to the Ministry man, there were houses at this castle. Alec frowned at Anya. There was something wrong with her. There must be! She wasn't usually like this. Usually she was... normal. Crazy, but normal. "Anya, is everything okay?" he asked, looking down at the girl carefully. She can't be upset now, could she?

Laughing at his grandpa's comment, she nodded, "You are. It's really cool to hear that you two are getting along all right." She crossed her legs and smiled sweetly at him. Her Viola cat had finally made it to the couple and made herself comfortable over Adam's foot. Louisa shot the cat a look, "Feel free to kick her. She's been doing this all day. Licking other's shoes or just lying over them." No reason to this new habit whatsoever.

Her summer. WEEEELL. Where should she start? With a deep sigh, the fifteen years old started, "Not as exciting as I thought it would be." A sarcastic chuckle followed this. "Dallin canceled the whole thing early in the summer without mentioning why but I went up ahead to his house and saw the reason." Saw being the keyword. The boy's face was bruised by her Brazilian Nut. "Umm.. he said that Joao didn't want him to spend quality time with me. Especially that we're going to be alone and all that rubbish you guys feel out of your testosterone." A.K.A jealousy. "I.. made myself clear when I got to Brazil. Nobody should ever treat my friends like that. I think he got the message." Smirking at the memory, Louisa's face brightened. Maybe this summary was enough for now? She sure was going to tell Adam details once at Hogwarts.

"What about yours?" With his grandpa around, she bet they did lots of activities together.

"Yeah. So I think that's really going to be the only time you'll see me in that." It wasn't like she was against dresses or heels or even dressing up. It was just the thought of being in a plain skirt for several hours every day... She shuddered. She was NOT looking forward to that.

She nodded a little absentmindedly. "Yeah... broom shop..." she said.

Her eyes brightened at his next question. "OH! I can tell you now!" she said bouncing up and down on her toes. "He plays quidditch. On brooms! Like the ones in the shop!" And now that she and and Alec were both going to Hogwarts... she could tell him everything about everything.

Well... the parts she knew anyway. She was still fairly new to it all too.

Was anything wrong? Dang it. He noticed. She played with the ends of her hair. "Um... What? Of course not."

"I met one girl... I think she was a Slytherin. And well -- that's about it really. My brother had me working most of the summer in his art studio. I didn't get a chance to socialize if you will," he said pathetically. Perhaps this boy would carry his things for him, yes? PERHAPS.

Alex shrugged, trying to think of how to word the answer to the question. Truth was he really didn't know TOO many people, but he didn't want to tell him that--he'd think he was a major geek or something. "I know OF a lot of people," he answered with a nod.

"A Slytherin...you didn't happen to meet Sierra Greingoth, did you?" he asked, raising a brow. That was always his first question whenever people mentioned Slytherin. Although he was sure Sierra wouldn't be as--snippy--to new people as she had been in say, their first year. Right? "Oh, an art studio?" he asked, excitement raising in his voice as he spoke. "That sounds really cool! Do you draw, or paint?" he asked.

Gideon pushed through the barrier like a familiar old hat, which he was seeing as it was his fifth year going through the wall. That is at least forward towards the Express and on towards Hogwarts Castle. Ten or more if one included both ways and any trips home during the holidays. His cart complete with trunk was in front of him as he wheeled it away for the next people to come through. Which unless something happened to delay them would likely be his mum and sister since Celeste had insisted they take the wall together for the first time.

Not that Kacie hadn't come with them before to see him off.

Fine by him, it allowed him chance to look around for any familiar faces already there on the platform before Kacie got to them. Although how he was to find anyone on the already crowded platform was beyond him. It had probably been easier to simply run into Kurumi and Selina last year then to actually look and find them this year. Nevertheless, Gideon looked around anyway, stopping as a few excited 2nd years walked past him chatting on a mile a minute about the upcoming term.

SPOILER!!: Anya... who's going to be seeing a lot of Alec over the next year!

As long as he specified to everyone that the best friend job was most certainly taken my Anya Phillips.

Alec grinned. Anya in a skirt and heels for long hours of the day... Yep, he was going to love Hogwarts. "Someone knows a lot about Hogwarts already," he said. Anya probably did her research. Or talked to someone who knows a lot about Hogwarts. Like... Asher? Did the two get together and talk non-stop about Hogwarts?

... Not that Alec minded, of course.

"Anya Phillips in a skirt and heels for long hours of the day," Alec said, "I never thought i'd see the day." He was going to push aside the fact that he's already seen her in a skirt and heels. What? Anya looked nice in them! Even though he, Alec, wasn't too familiar with fashion and those girly things girls talked about.

Alec blinked. Anya was sad one minute and now she was... bouncing? Like a bunny rabbit? She was feeling okay wasn't she? He grinned. She wasn't sad anymore so... YAY! Erm... Quidwhatnow? "Erm... what's Quidditch?" he asked, slightly confused at this new word, "And what does brooms have to do with it?" It wasn't a cleaning game was it?

Alec watched the twirling motion with a slightly confused expression on his face. Anya Phillips NEVER twirls her hair. Or... she doesn't usually. No matter what she said, there was definitely something wrong. "Good. You get to spend the next year flying kites with me," he said, "Lucky you!" Would that make her feel better?

Cocking her head to the side, Thea looked at Stares. He was a striking bird.. but Thea wasn't too keen on birds. She liked her car far more than she would like some hideous bird with freaky deaky eyes..

Thea shrugged, pouting slightly. 'I suppose yeah, I just miss my Mother quite a bit I guess.' That summer hadn't been the best she'd ever had, and she was worried about leaving her Mother. Very worried. As were her brothers.

Hmmm... Seems like Stares and Thea aren't getting along. Sighing, she turned the cage causing his back to show, and the bird facing the opposite direction. But like Joanna thought the bird simply turned around, and continued glaring staring at Thea. "Ignore him," she said with a small giggle. Great she made herself laugh, because her pet bird didn't like someone.

Awkward.

"Everyone misses their family,"
Joanna said still smiling. She remembered how homesick she got last year, it was awful. She wanted to add the fact that some can meet their family at Christmas unlike her which couldn't because her family which is from Alaska. But the Ravenclaw decided not to because it was a bit rude and out-of-place. "So..." she began saying, "Do you read books," it was a random question, but books was a subject that most of the people she knew could relate to and talk about. So maybe Thea was a book-person? But Joanna doubts it, Thea didn't seem like a bookworm, but the fourth year might be surprised.

Adam gave Louisa a sheepish little smile when she agreed with his grandfather's comments. Before he had a chance to respond to Louisa's comment, Adam suddenly felt something press firmly down on the top of his foot. Feeling slightly alarmed Adam sat forward from his laid back position on the bench. Looking down at his foot he spotted Louisa's tabby Viola, turning to look at Louisa as she somewhat bemusedly told him to feel free to kick the cat off if he'd like. "Oh, she's alright," Adam said with a little shrug of the shoulders. "JB likes to think he's still the size of a puppy with the way he bounds around these days. He even tries to climb into my lap despite the fact that he's the same size as me," Adam said with a little chuckle. "I ...uh...left him with my grandpa. I figured he'd had more room to move about and such than he would be cooped up in the common room with me all the time. The doghouse helped, but...you know. It's not the same. He actually took quite a liking to my grandpa, so I think he'll enjoy the company."

When Louisa began discussing her summer plans Adam looked at her, making sure she knew she had his full attention. He was sure she could see his eyebrows furrowing when she mentioned that her plans were cancelled with Dallin. How odd...but then Louisa went on to say that she went to Dallin anyway to figure out what the problem was. He couldn't stop a small smirk from forming on his lips. How very Louisa of her. And then she got into details about why Dallin had cancelled. Oh. So Joao was one of those boyfriends wasn't he. If Adam wasn't careful he might try to do the same thing to Louisa and Adam's friendship.

"Well I'm glad you set him straight," Adam said with a small nod of the head. "I would hate to think that Joao would try to break up our friendship simply because I am a member of the opposite sex," Adam said, shifting his gaze back to the cat that was now asleep on his foot. Adam supposed that Lousia's victorious smile about setting Joao straight was a sign that she would never let that happen, but honestly who knew. That Joao character was quite the manipulator, and he was sure that he could spin something whatever way he wanted or needed to to make him look like the better person.

"My summer was great!" Adam said with a bright smile when Louisa asked. "My grandpa and I really got to know each other, and since he's a retired auror, he had a lot of tips and things to help me since that's the direction I want to head. Oh, and I completely forgot to mention that I got an O on my DADA OWL!" Adam said with another sheepish, but excited smile. He knew how much Louisa cared about her grades, so he was sure that she would appreciate that. Especially since his studying had majorly interfered with their hanging out time.

Despite herself, Thea laughed at Stares. What a weird bird.. Stretching out a leg, she aimed a kick at Leo, as he walked past with a friend of his.

'Being nice I hope, little sister?..' He called as he walked past with his friend. He nodded at a girl he recognised from his year and winked at Thea.

The Gryffindor scowled and stuck her tounge out at her brother. 'Idiot...' she muttered, watching him go. Turning to Joanna, her eyes widened slightly, suprised at the question. 'Umm..' Thea squirmed. Joanna looked like a total 'boffiny type'. Thea wasn't really into books that much as she found it hard to recognise. Her Mother often pointed out how similar her and her brothers were to each other, even though they all often denied being related.. 'Not a lot..' She finally replied, 'But I do read sometimes?..' Thea trailed off lamely. 'You do, I guess?' The lion smiled.

"Tell him thanks. And give him a hug and a kiss from me." she said with a little giggle.

She smiled at Mina. "Thank you. Really. I don't think I'd be standing here without you." No. She'd probably still not be speaking to her older brother.

Mina smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't miss this for the world, you know that. Traffic was a bit of a pain and I thought I was going to miss you." Why she didn't leave earlier was beyond her really but the traffic around Hyde Park was a mess and the tube was running extra slow. "But I just made it." She wasn't going to disappoint her friend after all. Hugging the little girl again, she smiled. "You know how those boys are, but I promise you next summer you'll see him again."

"I will and I'll pass your message along, with the hug and a kiss on the cheek." Hearing the little giggle only made her giggle a bit herself. "Just a little kiss on the cheek, I promise you." She remembered herself at that age and thinking all kisses were icky and giggle worthy.

Giving Anya a soft rub on her back as she hugged her, she nodded. "You know, I always knew you were extra special and it is now your time to shine and show the world what you have." It had been a rough few weeks, but she had faith that all would turn out well. "You're welcome sweetie. I only did what I felt was right." Seriously, she couldn't just turn her back on her friends like that.

WHAT!? JBWASNOTCOMINGTOHOGWARTS? Louisa gasped a little bit dramatically at the news, "Meanie Adam!" Poking the boy in the arm, "How could you?! I wanted to see him! It's been months since I did." And Adam was describing him making Louisa more eager to see the dog, "Aww. I'm going to invade your grandpa's house during Christmas." She smirked, giving him a smug-like look and uncrossing her legs. Heh. He'd been warned so..

Nodding her head at Adam, Louisa knew that the boy would react very cautiously to this news. He was afraid to hurt her feelings probably. However, Louisa kept her smirk on, "He just needed a proof that I'm a trustworthy person. He's a good person inside, I know it and can feel it." Sort of. Maybe not always. Whatever. "I'm sure he won't do it after I.." punched him, "...told him to respect my friends." HEHEHE. SHOWED him rather than told him. Adam didn't have to know that, though.

When he said he got an Outstanding in his OWLs, though. Louisa's whole body jumped to life again as she sat straighter. "That's great!" Putting a strand of hair behind her ear, "Your grandpa must be really proud." And Adam was going to pursue an Auror career? Well, look who's ambitious! "I think you'll do great as an Auror." He was nice and chivalrous enough to be one anyway. "What about the rest of them?" Hmm?

"No. No Greingoth. Her name is Taryn. I hope to run into her on the train or something perhaps," he said dismissively as he scanned the platform for her. She was good company, she was.

Oh geez... the guy was excited about art? BOOOOOORING! "I do neither, actually. My brother does a little of everything though. He is certainly the creative one," the boy responded a bit bitterly. "I prefer to write. I was the editor of my school yearbook back in Greece." SHRUG. Not that that was a big deal or anything. Even if it was, Mortimer wouldn't make it a big deal. "Hope I can do some writing at Hogwarts." Letting his eyes scan the area once more he sighed. "Is it always overcast here?"

Blink. Blink. Jonathan can't still believe it though.

Jonathan scratched the back of his neck... oookaaayyy, awkward, much?! "yes, I play the piano" he replied at the latter.... Wait! She didn't know about that.

Oh! Great! If only Erin had those forefathers, she'd be having a sister who's magical too and never argue about being normal and being a freak. Kristina just so killing her right now. That little brat sister of hers. Well, she was the freak, not Erin.

Okay, this was a bit awkward. It seemed like, the whole year of crushing on Jonathan was slowly falling apart, he was just super boring! Or maybe, he's just not interested in anything about Erin. She couldn't blame him, she was no better match to his girlfriend Kurumi Hollingberry who've achieved so much and established her name as a cookie girl or the Hogwarts genius.

A bit more awkward was when Jonathan stared at her with horror, he may think, she was weird. Yes, she was. "I play the violin!" Erin answered happily. So, they do share some good things together.

Way to much to quote everyone you know who you are.

Asher ran around pulling all his school stuff behind him where was that girl. He moved deeper into the crowd when he heard his name. He turned and seen the brunette that he had been searching for. She was jumping up and down.

He dropped his trunk and ran over to her. "Anya, we're almost there" He started jumping up and down with her. He hugged her.

Wait? Was that Alec Summers?

"Alec? You know Anya too?" It seem like they knew each other a little more than he thought. He'd spent a lot of time with Alec and Anya and either one of them had mentioned the others.

"And he is absolutely amazing at it too!" Asher added when Anya talked about what Carter did.

Well now who was this other young lady with Alec. He smiled at her.

Caroline rolled her eyes at her Father. He knew it drove her crazy when he called her Carly. "Dad don't call me that." But actually the nickname was growing on her.

Caroline tried to keep up with Ahser as much as she could, man that boy was fast on his feet. Why was Asher that excited about going to Hogwarts. Not that she blamed him for being excited. But he was way to happy at the moment he'd been in such a good mood all summer.

Her questions were answered shortly. When she noticed someone jumping up and down when she seen Asher. It was Anya, Carter's little sister. Caroline couldn't help but to smile.

She caught up with Asher and the group he was with. She put her arm around her little brother and nodded when Carter spoke to her. "You too!" She smiled. Was there something on her face or something because Marilyn's glare was annoying her. Seriously her cousin needed to get a life. It would be best if she simply said nothing to her.

She was surprised by a sudden kiss on the check. Jasper? It was Jasper. Her smile widen. "Jasper!" She hugged him and gave him a kiss. She caught a bit of Carter with his arm around that thing. But before had time to think about it. she caught sight of another Gryffindor a prefect.

"KUMRUMI!" Caroline ran over to her and hugged Kurumi. It was sad that she wouldn't get to see Kurumi much anymore.

Marshall chuckled. He loved calling Caroline, Carly in was a good nickname for her. He followed his children around the platform. He was glad that Caroline was able to come along. He and Asher had missed her alot over the summer.

What? His son just dropped all of his belongs in the middle of the busy platform. That boy. He grabbed his sons things and bought them over to his son. "Son, you just can't leave your things in the middle of a busy platform." Eyeing his son. He taught him better than that.

Marshall put out his hand to Carter to shake. "You too, Carter. Puddlemere is doing well this season." He kept up with the other teams to see what Marketing tactics they had.

Then his Daughters boyfriend showed up. He was there. The two of them had something planned the rest of the day. "Hello Jasper." He said after Caroline had let go of the boy.

She rested her head against his back for a minute when he spoke. Selina let out a soft chuckle as he continued her little jest about being strangers. His hands touched hers for a moment. This kind of contact was nice. She had not seen him much this summer and the times she had were ruled by interruptions by other parties. They stayed like that only for a few seconfs before he turned around to look at her.

When he talked about the steady decline of their relationship status she half-smiled at him. Now that she had thought about it they were not doing very well on the whole relationship thing. She looked down at his hands that were still holding hers. Her blue eyes moved up to look at his green eyes and she added, "Wow... I hadn't even thought of that. You made a good point, Mr. Gert."

She unlaced his hands from hers. Then she pulled him into a hug. It only lasted a few seconds before she pulled away and said, "Sorry about that. I just missed you loads. The family is great, but they aren't nearly as fun to play with on the Pitch."

A bit more awkward was when Jonathan stared at her with horror, he may think, she was weird. Yes, she was. "I play the violin!" Erin answered happily. So, they do share some good things together.

Jonathan was the kind of person that doesn't talk much. He grew up that way. His mother was more of the talker while his father kinda is too but not so much like his mother. While he, stood there and smile with whomever his parents want him to meet. That grew on him and quite became a problem when he first started to go to Hogwarts. Most of his friends were in Slytherin too. Some people does describe him as a 'one man answer'. You'd be lucky if he talks more than a paragraph.

Hearing that she played the violin, Jonathan nodded in delight. He always wanted to meet a person who loves playing an instrument. Kurumi played the piano too but she was mostly forced on it. "That's nice" he turned to her. "My mother plays it when she was younger and also the harp" funny, she was also the one who taught Jonathan to piano. She probably plays it too, but she did mention to Jonathan that she's a string-instrument lover. That's why he always wanted to let Jonathan play the violin.

"I did try the violin once" he smiled reminiscing at those days when the violin was just there lying on one corner of the music room. "My mother taught me the basic but i failed" he gave a small laugh. Jonathan playing the violin is like him cooking--- doesn't really suits him at all.

Jonathan Kim. Erin would rather prefer Professor Roslund now. That's nice?' That's all? She was more like waiting for a more enthusiastic response, like, 'Great!' But whatever, "Your family seemed to have a big inclination to music. My mother was the one who taught me..." said Erin slightly nodding to hide her sadness. Pffft! Little girl attack once more.

"You should try playing the violin," Erin advice. It's very moving and you'll really get attached to it. "I did try playing the piano but I've didn't grew much into it as I did in playing the violin." So, they were more like, the opposites now.

Adam chuckled when Louisa stabbed him rather forcefully with her finger. "I'm sorry!" Adam said apologetically, having a strong feeling before hand that Louisa would probably not take this news too kindly. When she said that she would probably be barging into his grandfather's house, he let out a deep laugh. "I don't think my grandfather would mind. In all honesty he keeps telling me about how much he wants to meet you. I...uh...well I told him about everything I went through this past year and how supportive and great of a friend you were to me. He really admires you for that." Adam gave Louisa's arm a little squeeze, before shifting his eyes to the cat at his feet that had suddenly jumped up from something. Strange...

As Louisa justified...because to Adam that was all that Louisa was doing, justifying...he simply nodded his head, keeping an indifferent sort of expression on his face. Louisa clearly had more faith in the boy's true character than he did, but what could he say? All the interactions with Joao had been unpleasant, and that didn't even mention the fact that the boy had flat out lied to Louisa in order to try and make Adam seem like some sleezeball that was trying to win her like she was a possession. Adam ran his hand through his hair. No point in getting angry over the past. It honestly didn't do any good to either of them, especially considering they were on great terms at the moment. "I hope that your words and actions are enough to convince him of that," Adam said with a gentle smile.

Adam couldn't help but beam when he saw how happy Louisa was about his Outstanding. "He was incredibly proud," Adam said with a little smirk. "Actually he in general is amazed at how well I've managed to do with the whole magic thing considering that I basically dived into the whole thing by myself. I...uh...well I found out that my parents had lied and told him that I was a muggle, and that I didn't have any magic abilities," Adam said with a shake of the head. "Pretty lousy, huh?" But enough of the sad stuff...."As for my other finals I got an E in Charms and an A in Potions, but you know me. Potions has hardly been my strong suit."

Minerva had finally got away from the group she needed some air. She was feeling way to sophisticated. She found a bench and sat down watching the happy students with there families.

Harvey had noticed someone missing from the group and looked round to see Minnie... his Minnie walking away so he followed her, he wasnt going to leave her alone.. he didnt trust Edward.. it could be a trick.. to say that he would leave Mins alone when he was waiting to snatch her.. so he followed her until she sat down on a bench... and he smiled he went and gave her kiss on her cheek before sitting down next to her and putting a protective arm around her.. "I love you.." was all he said.. he felt like saying it.. it was like he hadnt said it in a long time and he NEEDED to say it.. so he did.. "Well all we do now is wait for the train.. and then our first journey as a proper couple.. and that too going back to Hogwarts on the very train we met." he said smiling still remembering their two train journeys together.. on the first they were not a couple.. on the second they loved each other but still not a couple and this third... in love and a couple.. it felt amazing..

"Edwards gone Harvey I am allowed to be alone for a bit." She said as he kissed her. "I love you too" She was not really paying attention to Harvey she was thinking about her family. How Edward would know the charms. "Harvey I think this was the wrong decision."
