The door is closed and locked though the professor is in. Once you knock the professor will allow you to enter. The walls are lined with bookshelves, but on them no books. There are various rare ingredients in jars and bottles. A desk and a chair behind it, books and papers on the desk. There is a workstation with a pyrex cauldron on a burner. There is always something burning. A very uncomfortable chair is set in front of the desk. This makes it hard for a student to spend too much time in her office.

Stud muffin? Did...those words actually come from Lafay's mouth? Dash's mouth opened and closed a couple of times before he actually turned to Edvard. "She's been poisoned." Point blank. It wasn't a surprised that she or anyone else thought he was good looking. That was common sense, but for Hecate Lafay to calling him...stud muffin. The woman was engaged. She ate something-or did something, maybe drank something? Whatever it was, something had been done. He nudged his head at Eddie to the Slytherin who had been trying to escape, she probably had answers. "If you leave you'll get a months detention." Scabior said loudly to the suspicious girl.

As for the singing Potion's Mistress. "Hmhm. Yeah. I did, and he died from eating one to many muffins." So she could stop horribly singing about it now. Scabior took Hecate's arm gently, attempting to lead her over to her desk. He had never been good at potions in school, even if he had managed to scrape by with a couple E's here and there, nothing he was taught had actually stuck into his brain.

He couldn't think of what potion would actually cause...singing. "Hecate do you have a book of potions here?" In her desk hopefully.

Your head of house needs you, you wouldn't want her to leave you stranded if you were sick or out of sorts, would you?"

Ariana Stopped dead in her tracks. 'no one else was suppose to show up. the whole plan was now ruined!' the 12 year old snake thought to herself. She smiled up at the professor and with her nicest voice said "No sir. i just thought she was in good hands now hat you were here. i figured i'd just get out of your way."

"Eddie, you are the sweeeeetest." She said hugging him. Hecate giggled. "There is a whoooooole library upstairs DashinDash... or you can always borrow mine." she said motioning to the book on her desk, but not letting go of the astronomy guy. She started singing Rocket Man... and looked at the girl. She sooo wanted to put her in detention... now.

Edvard froze up in surprise as Hecate pulled him into a hug and she wasn't looking like she letting going to let go of him anytime soon. Feeling his cheeks redden he mumbled wide eyed. Borrowing hers was just fine with him. Dash reached over, picking the book up from these desk. He flipped through the pages quickly. Was there a index for symptoms?

"A bezoar won't work at all, they are only for real poisons." Scabior kew that at least. He flipped through a couple more pages, before looking up from the book as Hecate moved away from him and began hugging Edvard. Dash snorted, somewhat amused. "Having fun there Edvard?" Where was a camera when you needed it?

Flipping one more page, Dash stopped, the word singing popping right out at him. He sucked in his breath before closing the book with a loud slap. "It's that...Euphoria Elixir. That's what was given to her." Extremely happy, and singing? It should have been obvious. He eyed the Slytherin. Detention? Point loss? No, both.

"There should be an antidote here somewhere." But did he actually want to find it when he could enjoy the sight of Eddie being hugged by Hecate? Hmm. He looked around the office, his eyes landing on the potions on the shelves. It didn't take him long to find the right one. "Mrs. Minister, drink this." He said holding the vial out. Or she could keep hugging Eddie, both were fine.

Ariana slapped her hands into her face this was not how this was suppose to end not one bit. Ariana looked up & began to cry. "i just wanted to see her happy & have a laugh with her that's all but i knew it wouldnt happen by it's self. no one else was suppose to show up. i was gonna give her the antidote before i left." Ariana Sniffled & looked up at the two professors

Sighing Edvard looked on and listened as the Slytherin teary eyed confessed to what she had done. "I understand, but you went about it the wrong way. Slipping your professor a potion even for a good cause is never ever okay." He said lecturing. "Hecate is a happy woman and she can have a laugh with you I’m certain, but not in this potion induced way. Take a seat on the sofa dear. I'm sure Hecate would like to speak to you when she has been cured."

The astronomy professor had never seen the Potions Mistress have a laugh or be all joyful, but that didn’t mean it couldn’t happen since she was getting married after all to powerful man.

If possible Edvard went even more wide-eyed and pink around his cheeks when Hecate touched his nose. Coughing he mumbled to Hecate"If I ever find a woman that is.." When he was released from the embrace Edvard couldn’t help but draw a sigh of relief as Hecate zeroed in on Dash instead.

With Hecate in Dash’s arms instead Edvard picked up the antidote from the desk and before going over their options. Since she didn’t want to drink anything they’d have to force her to drink it. Something which he never normally would do but the situation was getting desperate. "Dash if you hold Hecate I can try and pour the antidote down her throat. Or do you have a better idea?" Please let this song nightmare come to an end.

Ariana sniffled and looked up at the two male professors ' this outcome was NOT going to be fun' she thought to herself. she watched her head of house now WIGGLING this was a sight she wished NO ONE would ever see. not even her so she cover'd her eyes, still crying

Just get her to drink something she didn't want to drink right? Like the deed was on his shoulders. At least that was what the command sounded like. Dash's face hardened, no one, least of all Edvard, commanded him.

He shot the other man a perplexed look. Was that honestly it? That was how he punished students? The girl should have lost 50 points and sent to spend the night deep in the forbidden forrest! She had poisoned a Professor, an act that she would have gotten away with, had it not been for their arrival.

Scabior would have set the punishment out right there and then, but he didn't Hecate would do the honours.

"Much better idea." He said cooly. Pulling out his wand he pointed it at dancing and wiggling, Hecate. "Petrificus Totalus." The best way to get things done.

She was frozen.

If she hadn't been petrified, she would have smacked Dash, well, if she was in her right mind anyway. She probably would have danced and sung some more.

What was wrong with these men! Their idea of punishment was a walk in the park compared to hers.... this girl was going to be lucky if Hecate didn't set her and whatever pets she had on fire!!!

She looked at Dash, cause frankly she was petrified in that direction, and waited for either he or Eddie to give her an antidote.. which was hopefully the correct one.

THIS, this right here, was the last time she was getting lost in this castle. That was that. Though as she leaned against the dungeon wall shaking her head, she highly doubted she'd be keeping her promise any time soon. The way back up to her office was going to be an adventure.

Yet with the voices echoing down the corridor, something about wiggling from what she could make out, she glanced down the other way before following the voice and hoping it'd lead her to Lafay's office. Alas, there was a door! An open door at that, and from where she was walking, she could already see people in the room. Adults at that. Thank MERLIN.

Knocking quietly on the door, she opened it a little further and peaked her head in. "Professor...s..." Oh. Three professors and a young student crying. Someone was in trooouuubbllle. "Oh, sorry. I can...vait outside."

Edvard had known Dash for about two years now in counting and the man never stopped to amaze him. Out of all the things he could have done the HOM professor petrified the Potions Mistress. A cruel but effective way to give them the opportunity they needed to administer the antidote. Edvard hoped that Hecate understood that they had only petrified her to be able to help her.

Hearing a faint knock on the door behind him Edvard turned as the beautiful DADA professor appeared in the door. Scratching his head absent mindedly he greeted his colleague "Oh, good day Professor Romanos.." He stole a glance in Hecate's direction before turning to Medea once more. "We could um maybe use your expertise. Professor Scabior has just petrified Professor Lafay who is drugged by an elixir of Euphoria." Holding up the antidote Edvard continued "We were just about to administer the antidote."

Would simply pouring the liquid down Hecate's throat be enough?

It took a second for him to realize that there was a knock at the door, Dash's head went up just in time to see the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor poke her head in. "Medea." It was the best greeting he could give at the moment, too many things were happening. "You might as well come in." Though, it wasn't his office, he really had no right to say.

What was wrong with Edvard? Did he have to spit everything out that was going on? Scabior was certain that Hecate would be furious if other people found out she had been drugged, and so easily at that. He reached out, snatching the antidote from Edvards hand.

"We don't need expertise" The other man's words, not his. "To pour something in someones mouth." It was a simple task that was being complicated. He opened the vial and poured the contents into the frozen Hecate's mouth.

Hecate began choking, through she could do nothing, as she was still petrified. Her mind was sane however and she was planning an evil detention already, which Dash, Mr PetrifyAndShoveLiquidDownYourThroat, would be assisting her on!

Pausing in the doorway, her eyebrows raised a little at the mention of needing her expertise. Professor Lafay was drugged? With Elixir of Euphoria? Now that she actually had a moment to take in the scene, her eyebrows widened even more. "Oh, no, I can see you have it very much handled." she nodded, though eying Lafay who seemed to be...frozen. "I vould however suggest, if I may..."

We are eying you Mister No Expertise Needed Sir.

"Un-bind her. She cannot swallow properly in this state, much less take action if the liquid goes down the wrong pipe." And quite frankly from what she heard about Professor Lafay already, she'd come back to haunt them all. Literally.

"Right." Oh of course, Romanos had brought up that little detail. Her choking to death. Yeah, Dash had taken that into consideration.

A dancing and singing Hecate was worse.

He waved his wand, removing the spell from the potions mistress, then taking a step back. He wasn't in the mood to be attacked.

She coughed. Loudly now. Holding her mouth shut to make sure she wasn't going spit up the potion. She swallowed the rest of the potion. Her eyes on Dash, glaring.

She stood and straightened herself. She turned to Medea, who'd suggested unfreezing her and she nodded her head. "Thank you, Professor Romanov." She said and turned to the child who was sitting down. "You! Detention. Not just any detention... THE detention of the century!" Oh yeah... she wasn't playing. "Now out! I'll be owling you when you will serve it."

She then turned to the men in the room. Her face wasn't the most pleasant. "It took the two of you three songs to realize I had been potioned?"

As Edvard feared Dash just poured the antidote down Hecate's throat quite uncermionously. She almost didn't get time to swallow. When Hecate was cured of her ailment she sentenced the Slytherin student to detention before dismissing her from the room.

When Hecate rounded on them Edvard licked his lips as he spoke up to defend them. "No it didn't take that long to realize you were potioned, right Dash?" Edvard asked his mate for support. "It just took 2-3 songs to find the right antidote." The Astronomy man had never been a shining star in Potions and neither seemed Dash so Hecate should thank them not be angry with them. The petrifiying was

"Speaking of potions...Could you discern if i'm drugged by a love potion or not Hecate?" It was the reason why they had come to see her in the first place.

Taking a step back from the Professor, one hand on the doorframe as if ready to dodge behind it incase any excess potion came her way, Medea nodded back to Hecate in return; just barely resisting the temptation to fix her name. Before all the yelling about detention and songs started that is. It seemed it was best she just stay by the door for now.

Although...she was keeping that mental note never to eat or drink anything given by a student here ever again. First Hecate was somehow tricked with elixir of euphoria and now poor Edvard thought he was under a love potion? With the events that happened only seconds before forgotten, as well as the reason she was here, Medea crossed her arms and leaned against the doorframe, gaze bouncing from Professor to Professor.

Was he?

"Are you serious, Edvard?" She asked blinking incredulously at him. "I was made to act like a fool and suddenly it's about you?!?"

Now she was angry and the DADA professor seemed to be ready to bolt. Some warrior woman. Weren't they supposed to be brave, or was her teaching style, best way to defend against the dark arts is to run and take cover?

"Yes," she said. "I can tell when someone is under the influence of a love potion. And you," she said looking into his eyes, "Do not have the pink film over the eyes... so, you aren't under the effects of a love potion."

Who was he in love with....?

...She hoped it wasn't her.

"Eddie's right Hecate, it didn't take us that long, we were just caught up in your lovely song and dance numbers." His voice dripped with sarcasm, but he hadn't taken the comment to heart. The woman had been drugged and then had proceeded to make a fool of herself, she had to be mad at someone.

Dash's attention flickered over toward Eddie, he had almost forgotten the reason that had come to see Lafay in the first place. The question seemed to light another spark in Hecate, Dash just signed, Medea seemed to be the smart one, able to leave at any moment. "Would you rather us stay on the topic then Hecate? Go back to talking about your ordeal with muffin men and twinkling stars?" He wouldn't. Scabior had heard enough nursery rhymes for one day.

No pink film? So the man's feelings were actually genuine? His brows went up slightly and he clicked his tongue, the only signs that he had acknowledged what was said about the love potion. "Guess you were right then Edvard." What? Was he expecting an apology?

Hecate turned very slowly towards the professor. "Everett Dash Scabior... Do you REALLY want to be on my bad side? Think about this professor." She said and walked up to him. "I have access to your drinking water." She said and then shrugged. "I'm just saying."

Empty threats. That was all Hecate brought to the table. There was no way he was actually going to challenge her to see if what he thought was correct, he had already been wrong once that day."Dashiell actually" He corrected flashing her a small smile. Well if she was going to say his full name, might as well get it right.

"Do you really want me to be on your bad side. After all if I was you'd still be dancing and singing." Edvard wouldn't have figured anything out. No offence to his friend, but he wouldn't have. "So its possible you might need my help again, i'm just saying"
