And then the younger girl started veeeeerry carefully removing the popcorn from the girl's hair. She better not feel Louisa's hands on her hair, reputation was at risk here too.

... a reputation which Ellie thought was nonexistent. >__< Louisa looked back at the girl munching on junk food like a hungry bear. Oh, good, she caught up. Not. With a shake of the head, and a faaaint smile, Louisa went back to removing the remaining of popcorn, "Never mind that. Just watch the movie." Louisa had already seen it, like a dozen times before so she didn't need to concentrate on the movie as much as on the task at hand.

But then it hit Louisa that this was a movie with cute animals in there! Ellie was squeaking at electricity, junk food, and moving pictures. She had no doubt now that the older girl would be cuddling her the whole time, damaging not only her reputation but her ears as well. With this comprehension, she sat a bit straighter and looked at Ellie from the corner of her eye.

Louisa Carter gotta go.

O____________O

Louisa Carter just spit popcorn in some girl's hair. Ellie snorted and clapped a hand over her mouth to stifle her laughter. Even though no one could hear her because of the muffliato, but whatever. Once her giggling subsided, Ellie nodded. "Yes, LouLou. It's a cute nickname." Ellie popped a Milk Dud in her mouth. "By the way, very classy move there... You missed a piece." Ellie pointed to a stray piece of popcorn in the girl's hair. Ohhh, this was hilarious. And Milk Duds were delicious.

Well. LouLou was also quite demanding today. Ellie stuck her tongue out at the girl as soon as she turned her head. "Yes, mummy." She muttered and popped some Sour Patch Kids in her mouth.

WEEEEEEEEOOWW.... O________________o SOUR. EH. Ellie didn't expect it to be that sour. And she was paying attention to all the animals on the screen, so it kind of surprised her.... But she LIKED it. So she popped more in her mouth and squealed a little. OMNOMNOM.

Just then Ellie saw Louisa sit up straight and still. Ellie noticed it in her peripheral vision. Ellie slowed down her chewing and turned her head slightly and looked at the girl with a perplexed and slightly worried look on her face. "What are you looking at?"

Harvey very quietly entered the muggle theatre and sat down at the back. but not before he recognised Minnie sat down watching the movie talking to a girl who looked to be like Alyssa.. he then turned his attention to the movie that he had seen on many occasions since he was a young boy.. it was one of the very few that he seen numerous times.. such that he had lost count the number of times that he had seen the movie.

Well, it was good that ONE of them was enjoying this lame excuse for a movie hangout. Louisa was scolding herself over and over again for suggesting the movie to Ellie. It wasn't that the girl was boring, it was the contrary in fact. Ellie was just too excited and happy that Louisa feared for her solemness to go away sooner than expected....and then the girl was making weird sounds. <__< Louisa eyed her sideways, Ellie's face was contracting in a way no one should ever do in public. People had eyes to see and tongues to talk. One glance at the snack Ellie was eating, and Louisa almost 'aaah'ed loudly. "Easy there," she muttered.

"I am just admiring your eating etiquette." HA! Good thing professor Gemma had a lesson for that soon. Ellie MUST attend that. With a satisfied smirk, Louisa was popping popcorn into her mouth again and focusing on the screen. Hopefully, Ellie would fall asleep soon from all the food and Louisa would be free to go back to study.

Vlimia walked into the room she had been trying to find for the past five minutes. She had seen on the notice board that it was magic-free, and it was a kind of movie theater. Vlim had read about them in a book on Muggle Studies she had found in a bookstore, before her parents wrenched the book away. She looked around, and instantly spotted a big table full of what looked like Muggle sweets. An odd machine popping out yellow puffs of puffiness, an ordinary stack of cups and another weird machine that had logos all over it were next to the sweets. Coca Cola, Sprite, Nestea... Muggles had such crazy names for drinks. Water was water. Iced tea was iced tea. The list of beverages that were beverages went on and on.

Past that was what she recognized as loads of Muggle sweets - even she could identify sweets. Odd names were given to these sweets, as well. Milk Duds, Sour Patch Kids, Starbursts... Would these Muggles ever stop? Vlimia grabbed a red and white box and put it under the machine she now noticed was labeled Popcorn. So they heated up corn kernels until they popped? Seemed quite simple. Now the drinks... there were cups, but no drinks! Maybe the mysterious Logo Machine held them. Vlim put a cup under the logo Sprite, wondering what it would taste like. After getting her drink, she grabbed a fistful of sweets, and sat down to watch the movie. She knew that movies went for about two hours, and that they were either animated or real life. Vlim took a sip of her drink, and flinched as her nose tickled. The beverage was very sweet and fizzy, but Vlimia quite liked it.

Next she tried the popcorn. It half dissolved in her mouth, and left an artificial taste. Deciding that popcorn was not yummy, Vlim set it aside. When she got to the sweets, she unwrapped the individual paper on them. They really were difficult to open. Once she had gotten a Starburst open, she popped it in her mouth and chewed. It was almost like Drooble's, except it wasn't magical and it dissolved in her mouth after a while. Vlimia concluded that Muggle sweets were exactly like wizarding sweets, except they missed the magical quality.

I'm done with candy for now. I don't even think I want to see another candy for the entire term, but Popcorn I can definitely do." Alyssa told him with a smile. She knew that the other 'experience' would forever sour their friendship but she hoped that he wouldn't stay angry with her for the entire term. That would make her sad.

Butter and salt, I'm fine with that.He said, he was careful not to talk of candy anymore. He could tell that Alyssa felt just as much responsible about it as he did, but now was not the time. Maybe he could talk to her after the movie. Soooo I've heard that this movie is like Hamlet?

Alyssa almost coughed up her popcorn when she heard Oakey compare the movie Lion King to Hamlet? "Ham what?"Alyssa laughed. Then she remembered hearing a book called like that in the Muggle World. Her muggle friend had complained that she had to study that in her school. It was written by someone called William Shakespeare.

"Oh that Hamlet. I haven't read it but I do know that in Lion King, it's about the evil brother who gets the other brother who is King, killed. Then he get's the king's son, Simba to think that it's his fault. Simba goes into exile and meets a couple of cool friends. Ghost of father appears and tells him to man up and so Simba goes home to challenge his uncle. Oh yeah along the way he meets a girl lion, they fall in love and all that stuff. I just love the songs in the movie. Like this one here, Hakuna Matata....What a wonderful phrase, Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze, It means no worries for the rest of your days, It's our problem-free philosophy........."Alyssa started singing.

"Thats ok, umm well I don't really keep count and it usually costs a fair amount of money to come to the theatre. My favoroute movie though is love actually, but i dont think you would like it! It's a romance!" Autumn smiled.

Oh, she forgot that Zhenya's Mom was a muggle teacher. "It was common for me. I used to live with muggles in Liverpool. We had so much fun such as watching movies at the theatre, playing basketball, skateboarding, or just doing the street-dance." she explained. "I've ever watched this movie with my friends years ago. But I slightly forgot about the plot." Then she sipped her pepsi. Wow!!

Oh right lessons, she had missed a few.. "Thanks Zhen! that would be great, Ya I'm going to try to start going to the lessons, at least a few." she said smiling, she would definitely be needing help in Herbology..

..Desiree giggled as Raven yelled her name across the theatre, and then came over and sat between them. She grinned at her friend, "Hi!" she said as she joined them. She asked if they'd been to the theatre.. "I've actually never watched a movie before.. ever." She admitted sheepishly with a small laugh. "My parents didn't really approve.." She understood the concept, but... ya this is why she always felt out of it in Muggle Studies class.

But THIS is why she loved it so much!! Raven had just returned with a huge tub of popcorn and pepsi! She took a handful as Raven offered it, Ooh the popcorn was sweet.. She giggled slightly at Zhenya's 'Holy Potatoes' that was definitely a new one. hehe. She listened to Raven describing her life back in Liverpool, it sounded fun, Desiree didn't really have that much fun back home.. or many friends for that matter. She had friends here though she thought with a smile as the movie started, eating a handful of gummy bears.

"Guys I think it's starting!!" she said excitedly, as odd music started playing.

"So do you think it's more fun being with Muggles in their world, with all their activities, or being with the Wizarding world? I'm curious. I've always lived with Wizards in our house, but I did used to play with muggle kids when I was a kid. And they always found me really strange for liking Herbology and Potions. They were into dolls and things..." she said with a shrug. She loved it better in the magic world where she could be herself. Although if she was with witches, she probably would like the muggle world.

Zhenya took a handful of her salty/butter popcorn. "Yeah I love that stuff you have! But to be honest I do sort of prefer salty foods a little more. Did you want some of mine?" she asked, holding out her salty popcorn, skittles and malteesers.

"Yeah it was terrible but I was younger so I don't really remember it. So that's good... but not good about being sick when you're older," she said, remembering her grandparents. "Well I'm glad you're better!"

"Oh wow! Never been. Oh... well I don't think that's so weird, especially here. I bet most people haven't seen a movie - unless they are muggle born, or have a muggle parent. "

Zhenya got very excited as Desiree speculated the movie was about to start! She had to bite her lip to stop her from yelling out "YAAAAAAAAAY!"

And.. Desiree never watched movies before? No doubt, she was a pureblood, right? Some purebloods avoid to do the muggle activity.

"I think Wizarding and Muggle world were amazing. We can use our magic for fun and in muggle world you can use the technology. I appreciate muggles for their intelligent." she said while she was eating her popcorn.

And the movie was started. Good!

Exploding crap, Conrad thought. Half-bloods could be so funny sometimes.

"Exploding Snap," he said, overenunciating his correction, "is this card game where you have to find the matches before they explode. Or find them so they explode. It kind of depends on how you play. I have some cards if you want to learn later..."

Making sure to include both of his new friends, he quickly added "You can come too if you want, Autumn. We'll have a three-player game!"

It didn't exactly sound like a safe pastime, but Conrad didn't seem to have any hair singed, so maybe it was alright. "Sure, I'd like to learn. Maybe in the Great Hall sometime," she suggested excitedly, grinning broadly at Conrad. She would really like to learn some wizarding things. It'd be nice to not be so clueless all the time.

got a package of red vines and found a seat in the back. She layer back in the chair and watched the movie.

"Perfect!" he said. It'd be great sport to humiliate this poor half-blood in front of hundreds of other students in the Great Hall. Only... he wasn't sure he wanted to humiliate her. He kind of liked her- something about her seemed different from other half-bloods he had met.

Oh well, he thought to himself. He could decide later. The important thing right now was to eat as much Popcorn as possible and figure out what a movie was.

She heard no clicking or stomping of feet and Selina knew Kurumi was here. The Gryffindor prefect was as silent as a mouse when it came to almost everything. So when she plopped beside Selina the girl just nodded and at her best friend, "Hey there-"

That was healthy? Yep, it was. In Selina terms it was VERY HEALTHY. It made her tummy happy therefore, in laymans terms, it had to be healthy. There was no way such joy that she got from candy could be bad for her. And if it was bad for her- oh well. It was not like she was going to die anytime soon from food poisoning, her immune system was way too strong for that. So she took a bite of her candy and smiled at Kurumi, "Yeah, got all of my food groups right here."

Suddenly there was a huge bang in the theatre. What in Merlin's name-? The screen was moving. This were running at her and they wouldn't stop. Then singing??? WHY WAS THERE SINGING. Selina dropped her popcorn on the ground and sat up in a start. Something was terribly wrong. Something was broken. They were all going to go up in flames. Her finger nails clawed into the armrest of her chair tighter and tighter with each passing moment.

Oh yeah, Kurumi was talking. In a shaky voice Selina replied, "Um... I don't know. Pink Pajamas Penguins on the bottom?"

"Your food groups?" Kurumi asked blinking in confusion. "You mean...sugar, artificial sweeteners, salt, and saturated fats?" Kurumi picked up one of the boxes, a yellow one, and looked at it. Sour Patch kids...Kurumi had never heard of this particular candy before. She popped one of the candies into her mouth and her face immediately contorted. So that was why they were called Sour Patch kids. Kurumi handed Selina back the box. She would stick with popcorn for now...which was now all over the ground. Sigh.

Kurumi pushed herself off her seat and began picking up the pieces, returning them to the container when there was a loud BOOM and the title screen saying The Lion King appeared. This movie had far too many loud noises...

"I don't think that is quite right..." Kurumi replied now that the floor was all clean. She sat back down in her seat and ate from her own small container of popcorn. Her eyes widened when the scary looking lion practically squished a helpless little mouse. Why would a lion even bother eating a mouse? There was hardly any meat on them and lions needed to eat so much more. "MOUSE!" she squeaked, pointing to the screen. But then a bird showed up. Well, not just any bird, a Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, showed up and saved the mouse. "I like him," Kurumi decided. But then that horrible lion SWALLOWED the bird and Kurumi gasped.

Thankfully, another lion showed up, one with a very soothing and powerful voice. One that Kurumi wouldn't mind read her the dictionary really. She decided that she liked this lion very much. Wait...they were brothers...as in the one was evil? And the one had a son named Simba. Why did all this sound sort of...familiar? She had never seen this film before...but she knew of a show she had watched a child about a white lion named Kimba whose aunt was evil and had killed his father and made the little lion cub feel as though he had done it.

"Selina...I don't like this lion...I think he is going to kill his brother and make the son think he did it..."

Nodding she answered his first question, she hadn't waited long at all. "Nope.." She looked at her watch, she only waited about ten maybe fifteen minutes, but she didn't mind. She was lucky she even got to hang with Trey..I mean he was the Head Boy and he was all so cool and popular, Ness still didn't see why he'd spend time with her.

Only noticing the movie had started..she sort of bit her lip. She didn't like missing the beginning of any movie, but it didn't matter this time seeing as she had seen the Lion King many times before and she knew it off by heart almost. After Trey had got his popcorn Ness nodded once more and then led the way and took a seat. It was still near the beginning of the movie. Anyway if Trey wanted to ask anything he knew he could....Ness hoped he did at least.

You know what? It was really nice to see her somewhat happy again, especially with the pygmy puff. The last time he'd seen them together, well, the situation was the complete opposite of this. Of course the pygmy puff would like him. He was the one who took care of Puffles for a little while last term. And Treyen pretty much let pets do what they wished...within reason, that is.

"Good thing he does." He smiled. If the pygmy puff didn't like him, then it'd be kicked out of the Common Room. Not really. It was still an amusing thought.

And...she hadn't been waiting for long. Awesome!

He followed after her and took a seat next to Nessie. Aha. So, the Lion King. In all fairness, he could deal with this if it had no songs...yet that wasn't the case. Oh, well. The popcorn was pretty good, though.

"So...," he was frowning just a bit, "...the lions own all that land?" that was so unrealistic, any magical creature would beat a lion. Thaddeus would destroy that place in seconds if he got mad enough.

Not to mention that lions couldn't talk, much less sing.

Ellie imagined Louisa was mentally kicking herself (and probably Ellie too) for telling her about the movie. Because now she was stuck with hyper!Ellie who had way too much sugar and an extremely high excitement level. This was an exciting moment in Ellie's life! Her first cinema experience and Louisa was being Miss Debbie-Downer over there.

Admiring her eating etiquette. HAH. Liar. Ellie snorted and opened her box of Junior Mints. "LouLou, dear. I think you're just jealous because you're not having as much fun as me." Just then, Ellie looked up at the screen an watched a stampede of large animals running away from something. Ellie's eyes locked on the screen and she saw the big lion.

... TRAMPLED. O_____O ..... *wibble* The lion's father had died. And it all sounded too familiar.

"What kind of movie is this?" Ellie whispered, horrified. She looked over at Louisa. "Have you seen this before?" Was this movie horrible the entire time? Murderous? Ellie wibbled and stuffed her face with chocolate to prevent herself from watching the movie and crying.

Amelia was excited, because it was a movie night... at Hogwarts. And she might be a Pureblood, but she's seen moves with her boyfriend and she loved them. Especially Twilight!! she could watch those movies over and over again and not get tired of them. :3

Granted they spent most of the time at the theatre making out, but she still enjoyed the cinematic experience, so she started to eagerly look around for any of her friends who might be there.

SPOILER!!: REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE, SON

Selina chuckled at Kurumi's response to the food group thing and shrugged it off. If Kurumi wanted to think that she was doing bad things to her health by eating only the most health conscious and brilliant food that was her loss. Which reminded Selina, she had to make sure to head down to the Common Room after the movie was over. They were serving red velvet cupcakes the size of Selina's face at dinner and she was not sure that she could miss that spectacle to be honest. It was a rare and happy day when red velvet surfaced in the Great Hall... a truly joyous day.

When Kurumi took Selina's candy box of what happened to be her favorite muggle candy she had tried Selina pouted. She started to grab for her candy box until Kurumi gave it back to her without a fuss. As soon as she got her candy back Selina drew it close to her chest and vowed to not share ever again. HER CANDY!

As soon as the movie started, however, her candy was forgotten in her lap as she claws dug themselves into the arm rest. It was too loud and there were too many things moving too fast. The whole endeavor was just too much excitement for Selina. She felt slightly panicked at the whole ordeal.

But as the movie progressed Selina's muscles laxed on her death grip on the chair. Everything was calmer in her body and she could feel herself being sucked into the story. The whole movie contraption was a brilliant idea. Whoever had decided to movie pictures and make them sing snappy show tunes, well, good on them.

Kurumi whispered something about a mouse and then Selina noticed that her best friend liked the colorful bird. Of course she would. They were sort of similar in many ways, especially about following the rules and such. But when the bad guy came on the screen Selina rolled her eyes and whispered, "The villian's name is scar? Wow, could they be any more obvious he is the bad guy?"

Then the movie introduced the young lioness Nala and Selina smiled. Yeah, she liked her a lot. A lot of spunk. She sort of reminded her of Anya Phillips... just a tad. AND THEN THEY SANG AGAIN. Selina leaned over to the Gryffindor Prefect and said, "I like the whole singing thing... its clever. How do they put it with the pictures by the way...?"

Kurumi continued to much on her popcorn, opting to try something that her brothers sometimes did when they were able to go to the theater. Getting up for just a moment to grab some snacks. Kurumi returned to her seat with a small box of Junior Mints. She opened them up and promptly poured them into the popcorn just as Selina spoke again.

"Well...he does have a scar above his eye," she shrugged. Not the most creative name. Something like Taka could have been a bit more appealing and unpredictable. "Makes you wonder how he got it though. I mean, it brings so much more attention to the scar since it is his name too. Do you suppose it came from a fight with Mufasa? Could be reason why he dislikes him so...or...that baby Simba got his claws out when the mandrill shook that staff over him. Maybe he did it?" Kurumi thought that the black mane and bony body made him look more like the villian. He stood out too much and had tried to eat two perfectly innocent creatures within two minutes of each other.

Kurumi popped the combination of mint and popcorn into her mouth and chewed as the song came to a close...with the bird being sat on. Poor guy, couldn't catch a break could he? And this was so not going to end well. They were going to a graveyard after scary black mane lion and tricked Simba. Kurumi hugged her pillow tightly too her chest. "What do you mean? There are special places called studios where people draw pictures that make up the animaion and then another place where voices are recorded. And then, they put them together."

Kurumi turned her head back to the screen and sighed.

Zack was really excited for his first was turning out to be more fun than he thought it would! WooW first year and a movie night who know what his second year has in store?

As he walked in, he was shocked to see all the muggle stuff in Hogwarts. Oh, right, this was the muggle studies class so it was easy to guess, he would find the muggle item in here!

As he moved the stamped onto something that was something like someone’s leg? Was it? He had so much on his had that made it difficult to see what it was. Ignoring it he moved towards the seat and sat as soon as he found one on his way. He really didn't care for the movie. It was good they had so much to eat. Yayyyyy!

Cardigan looked around once more.Over by the snacks, she saw Vlimia! With an excited expression, she ran over to her and said,"Vlimia! So nice to see you!Care to come sit with me once your done?"Cardigan asked, gesturing to the food. She remembered that delicious stuff she grabbed not too long ago.Was it.....was it....Sour Patch Kids?And....and...Cola?Seeing she was right,Cardigan grabbed one more serving of each, even though she had quite a lot already, while waiting fir Vlimia`s reply.

"well Love actually follows a few people's lives each have a diffrent story but they somehow all connect... its a very romance, girly film" autumn smiled. "Yeah ofcourse... sounds.. loud."

SCOOOFFFF at that. "Yeah, I told you I shouldn't be enjoying myself when I have a Charms article to read." Louisa shoved another bunch of popcorn into her mouth and munched on them grumpily. Her eyes were on the screen, the familiar movie going on just fine.

..until Ellie took this whisper-the-obvious attitude, which was alarming considering how loud and lively she'd been a second ago. Louisa lowered her popcorn bag and looked at the girl, unable to show any emotions yet, she nodded. "This is a family movie, Ellie. It's not that sad." Louisa was not getting what was wrong over here. The Lion King was essentially funny deep movie, she loved it. What was wrong with the father lion dying and....

..Oh. Well. That was pure stupid of Louisa.

Opening her mouth and closing it several times, the young girl didn't know how to respond. How to fix things. She cleared her throat and tried, "I-i-it's not a sad movie. Really, it has so many cool and cute animals. You just wait and see." Laaaaaame attempt. BUT Louisa was smiling now! A nervous and alarmed smile, but it was a smile! Yeeeaaah!

You wanna mess something up, call for Louisa Carter. <__< If Ellie ended up crying, Dallin would give the young eagle a pointed look for ruining his girlfriend's first movie experience.
