Gryffindor Common Room graphics by sweetpinkpixie The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The entrance to the common room is the portrait of the delightful Fat Lady, and in order to gain entrance to their home away from home, Lions must know the password and speak it to her. |
Anyone? VM me. "Angel's trumpet," Lilly said, entering the Gryffindor common room. Looked like she was the first one there. It was great to be back to Hogwarts. As fun as Rupert's was, Hogwarts was home. She sat in one of the armchairs, Smartie jumping onto her lap. The second-year stroked her kitten, staring into space. What could she get Violet for her Birthday? Would she get on the quiddich team? Not important things like last year's worries. That was horrible. But it turned out not so bad in the end. It didn't stop Violet from locking herself in the Hufflepuff dorm. |
"Angel's Trumpet," Jezz said to the portrait. It swung open and with a tiny tired smile of thanks she walked into her new home. It was beautiful. Nothing like she ever imagined it to be. She took a seat on one of the comfy looking chairs not ready to go and find her bed just yet. It was turning out to be a whole lot better than she ever expected and what she really wanted to do right then was relax. |
"Hi there Fat Lady. Nice to see you again," Tayla smiled. "Well anyway...Angel's trumpet." The portrait swung open and she went inside. Oh how she missed the familiar surroundings of the Gryffindor common room! Looking around, she found she wasn't the first one to arrive. She sat near the fireplace and smiled at the girls sitting nearby. Quote:
Tayla spent most of her time cooped up in a quiet corner of the library last year, so she barely knew anyone younger than the third years. Quote:
"Hi! I'm Tayla," she said with a smile. "What's your name?" |

Tayla shrugged. She had spent most of her time at the library trying to figure out the secret of her grandmother's locket. Aside from studying at least. And she still hadn't found out much. "I'm trying out for the Quidditch team this year. I need more fresh air," Tayla laughed a little. "You? Oh...and, if you don't mind me asking...why did your twin lock herself up? Quote:

"Yeah, me too. I was in the hospital wing for the tryouts last year. Me being clumsy again," Lilly frowned. "Because our mum had died and our dad couldn't look after us so we were going to be put in a muggle orphanage. Then my older sister's best friend's brother was willing to look after us in the holidays. He's a wizard. Violet still stayed in her room," she said, as if it was the simplest thing inthe world. |

Tayla stretched her arms. "I'm getting pretty tired. I think I'll go to bed in a while. See you around?" Tayla smiled. "And I hope you have a great year." |
Tennessee climbed up to the Gryffindor tower only to find out the password seemed to have slipped her mind due to the bouncing and jumping and running up the staircase. "Merlin!" she gasped as she reached the portrait of the Fat lady. She grinned at the portrait as it asked for the password. How's she gonna enter their common room? She couldn't even wait to lie on her bed. "Wait a sec," she said as she thought of it. "Kurumi told us about this, hmmmm." Tenn scratched her head. w minutes have passed and the fat lady got bored waiting she fell asleep. Uh-oh! She started flailing her arms and jumped up and down the corridor. "I know those words. C'mon," she muttered to herself. the fat Lady even woke up due to the racket she had been making and is looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "Oooh.. ohhh i know it," she said as she run back near her. "Angel's drum," she beamed as she waited for the door to wing open. The Fat lady smiled and frowned. "Please just let me in, i really want to get inside now," she begged. The fat lady shook her head and even asked her if she's really from Gryffindor. She nodded and nodded, "yes..yess Yesss," she said trembling. "It's just that i am not really good in remembering things like those especially not when i ate too much sweets," she blabbed again. She covered her mouth to stop herself. then she made another attempt, "Was it Angel's Lire? Or something like that?" she asked. "Was it..." she said hopelesslyy. "Ohhhh.. Could you just please give me a clue? Even just one?" she begged. "Please? Please pleaseeeeee," she said bouncing in front of the painting. This is mad. Totally mad. Can someone help her in. Daiiiiiiisssssyyy!!!! She grew tired and sat beside the portrait as it may swing open when someone comes out or if a Gryffindor goes in. But she never stopped guessing, "Uhhmmm," she bit her lip. "Is it Angel's lake? Fruit Cake? Chocolate frog?licorice wands? Angel's wings?" The fat lady just kept on saying No! No! No! No! No! No! NO! NO! No! NO! NO! NO! |

She walked up to Tennessee scratching at her leg, just bellow the knee where her wool socks ended. A red spot was there as if Daisy had spent a good portion of the feast scratching at it. “What are you doing out here Tenn? Is the Fat Lady missing from her portrait?” |
i luff yah...*glompish* Quote:
Rackets? Were she that loud? "nope, I heard no one and nothing," she said shrugging. "She did left,." she said as she glanced back at the Fat lady and stuck out her tongue. "No i was just kiddin'," she snapped as she looked again at Daisy. "Thank goodness you're here." She started twirling her hair and beamed at her friend. "I forgot the password.. but it's just at the tip of my tongue and i can't just spill it out," she told her. For sure She's gonna be scolded. |

“You’re lucky. I was going to head up to the Library first, but I think that Astrid would kill me if he had to stay penned up any longer.” Astrid was her chameleon-newt, who, like Tenn, had a panache for sweets. She’s probably have to give him a piece of licorice for missing the banquet this year. Daisy walked up portrait of the Fat Lady. “Hello. Have a good summer did you? Enjoy dinning with the Bavarian Monks on the solstice? They always have good insights on the uses of maiden’s weed…” The Bavarian Monk’s portrait was located on the 5th floor near the stairway that lead to the clock tower. Daisy chatted a few minitues more with the Fat Lady and then realized that Tenn was giving her a look of ‘If I don’t get to sleep soon, you’re going to have to carry me up the stairs.’ “Right well, I should get some sleep. Big day tomorrow and all that.” Daisy cleared her throat. “Angel’s Trumpet.” The portrait swung open revealing the cozy interior of the Gryffindor Common Room. |
i ish totally hungry right now.. which is why she is hyper. Quote:
What is Daisy asking the Fat lady about Bavarian Monks, anyway? She decided to ask her friend as she entered the common room, "Daisy, Is that food? Those Bavarian flavoured donuts are really awesome," she finished as she plopped into the couch. And before the hole totally closed she yelled, "Thank you Fat Lady." She was just a little hyper but she's still polite. |

She yawned and plopped herself down on a sofa near the fire. She kicked off her shoes and then scratched around the tops of her socks. Man wool was itchy. Again, she had forgotten to buy new socks while in Diagon Alley. “Astrid seems to like you,” she said watching Tenn with the chameleon-newt. It had turned a bright red color, choosing not to blend in with the black of Tenn’s robes like he usually did. |

When she felt something crawl on her sleeve. She could have screamed if the chameleon camouflaged the color of her robes but since she saw it, she picked it up. "She's well behaved unlike some I knew," she commented. She could remember her younger brother's chameleon and it always freaks Tenn whenever she finds it crawling under her covers. "I hope she won't crawl under my covers too," she told Daisy. |

Rose ran into the common room, bagsying a chair by the fireplace. Her chair. *hiss* She needed to make more mates. Now that her best friend was gone, anyway. And that sucked like duck poop. So she needed more friends. Or first years to comfort. She didn't mind. |

Astrid was letting out a weird purring noise. “Umm…” Daisy made a funny face at the chameleon-newt and then shook her head. Usually he didn’t take to people so well and by most people she meant her brothers, but then, who would blame Astrid? Her brother’s were nuts. “He shouldn’t,” she said shoving her socks down around her ankles and scratching lower on her calf. “Just don’t leave any licorice in your sheets and you should be good.” Quote:
