On the outskirts of the grounds a giant purple tent has been pitched up in the knee deep snow by the groundskeeper to host Professor Roslund’s latest fun incentive. Pack up your telescope and put on your night clothes and come out to the grounds for a fun time with balloon gazing, some food and candy, music and the joyful company of your peers and professors. Remember to dress sensibly since it will most definitely be a cold night. In the center of the festive tent Professor Roslund can be found in his navy blue night robes putting up decorations with the help of his helpers Kurumi Hollingberry and Beatrice Castell who came up with the sleepover idea originally.
Along the walls of the roomy tent a number of pots which give off heat are put up to keep the cold at bay. Around the tent Professor Roslund has enchanted lamps to light up the tent. On the floor a sufficient amount of bean bags, sleeping bags, tables and benches are scattered out over the center of the ground which is covered with warm rugs. Feel free to strike up some light conversation about astronomy or whatever could tickle your fancy on a magical night like this as you eat and be merry together or use your telescopes to spot some balloons. The whole right side of the tent has been cleared to allow for students as well as visiting professors to put up their telescopes and spot some balloons still floating about or maybe an elusive constellation.
Along the left wall you’ll find the food and drink section which mainly consists of sandwiches, salads, candy, hot coca and tea. You shouldn’t have skipped the food in the great hall but if for some reason you skipped dinner there is enough to quench even a starving 7th year boy.
OCC: All SS & School rules apply. This is a party not a lesson. Have fun, meet and interact with new or old users. You will not receive any house points for any balloons you may spot, but a sense of pride and accomplishment for succeeding in what you do.
Isabelle had known about the balloon spotting party, but she hadn't gone to it for the simple reason night time was when she was more alert to do her paperwork. Strange as that may sound. It didn't stop her from taking a break and staring at the huge purple tent from her window though.
It all looked so prettily made up - and they'd even invited Thereos, how nice. Issy smiled as she watched him trot into the tent. She was just about to go back to her desk when she spotted a silvery white patronus flash past and come towards the castle. Strange, surely that would only be needed if there was a problem. She knew there were plenty of professors that had gone...
Frowning, she rushed over to her stand and pulled on her scarf and gloves. Wrapping her winter robes around her, she ran out the room and hurried down the staircases from the sixth floor. The cold night air made her catch her breath, but Isabelle hurried on still and over to the tent.
Sticking her head inside she saw several children packing their things, and her colleagues discussing something over in the corner - with Thereos still there. Smiling at the kids as she passed them, she went up to Eddie first, as it was his event. "What's going on? I saw your patronus from my window," Issy whispered so not to alarm anyone.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

Oakey came to the girl once Kurumi had silenced her. What was her deal with using the silencing charm on Hufflepuffs? First it was himself during the capture the flag game and now Laura, who actually needed the charm more than Oakey did when she cast it on him.
Oakey had overheard her crying about being eaten by monsters.
He put an arm on her shoulder and softly spoke Hey don't you know Monsters hate the taste of us Hufflepuffs Oakey tried joking to get her to smile I mean I wouldn't know first hand because I've never been eaten, but I've heard we have a dry and bitter taste.

Oakey had heard tales of this book from Granny Gunter, but never saw it himself...aside from the fake 1st edition copy that Harvey had in his bookshelf back at home. He lifted the book from in front of Nate and flipped through it himself. This looked to be just another copy itself. Don't bother them with this. They've got a lot on their hands right now with the Centaur Oakey said to Nate quietly. If you want you and I can go see Headmaster Tate about it tomorrow. Right, Tate would know what to do with a copy of this book. I'll hold onto it for now if you want? In the mean time I think you best start packing up. We can leave once Hadley makes her way down here

We were asked to start waking up the members of our house and escorting them back to the castle." Although...Professor Vindictus had been one of the go-back-to-sleep people...hadn't he? Or maybe not. Everything was a blur and the fifth year was TIRED and really wanting to go back to sleep...
And that was QUITE enough of that. Kurumi had already not been in the best of moods recently for various reasons that she did not wish to discuss with anyone here, and Laura calling everyone a monster and SHOUTING was not helping things at all. Whipping her wand out of her pajama pants pocket, Kurumi walked over to Professor Roslund, bowed her head in pre-apology for what was about to be done, and pointed it at the girl. She hated to do this...but... "Silencio," she then walked over to the young Hufflepuff and put a firm hand on her shoulder. "Laura, I want you to take five deep breaths for me. There are no monsters here and I need you to calm down and start packing up your things." If she could do that, Kurumi would remove the spell.
Minerva looked to where Laura said someone else came in. "Laura it's just other professors coming. So nothing to worry about." just as she went to put her arm back around Laura Kurumi put a silence spell on her. Minerva whipped around not meaning to be mean, but it shocked her "Kurumi I am helping her just as the professor told me to, so you don't have to put a spell on her." seriously Minerva knew she was a prefect but what gave her the right to put a spell on a student she wasn't a teacher. Minerva shook the shock out of her and then tried to smile at Kurumi "I will keep her company and calm her down just as I have been. You go deal with the rest of the school." She turned back to Laura. "Are you ok?" she put her arm around Laura again. "Oakey is right, there are no monsters here, but if there were they wouldn't eat Hufflepuffs first anyway." no they would pick another group Minerva thought. She tried to smile "let's go gather are things. I think once Professor Hadley comes in we will be headed back to the castle." She took Laura's arm hoping she would come nicely so that Kurumi would remove the spell.

Daichi couldn't have helped overhearing the conversations that took place at the sleep over party. Although he had heard them, his sleepy brain didn't process what was being said and he wanted to go back to sleep. He turned on his other side and peered through the slit of his eyes at the....Professors and other students? He had thought the talking had came from annoying students who didn't know what SLEEP was but apparently it were the Professor who didn't know what sleep was!
Getting irritated because Daichi gets a bit cranky when he didn't get his proper sleep, he got out of his sleeping back and with a loud irritated groan he placed on his duck feet slippers he had worn in Astronomy class. Grabbing his ducky printed blanket, Daichi shuffled his feet to the commotion.
"What is going on?" he asked, sleep still evident in his face as he looked irritated and had his eyes half closed. A yawn escaped his mouth and he rubbed his eye. "It's night..go to sleep" he mumbled and swayed his body a bit where he was standing.
Moving over to were Edvard had indicated, Seren stared around anxiously. Seriously, what was so serious that she had to crash a sleepover party?
But as soon as Edvard began talking, she realized the severity of the situation.. or at least its potential. "I see," she said nodding in understanding.
"I'll get the prefects onto it... as for... the forest, does Tate know yet? I wonder what he would make of the situation."
Eddie gave a small sigh of relief when Seren understood the situation and would take immediate charge of the lions. "I sent a patronus to Tate. He should arriv any minute unless he is held up by something." Their headmaster was a busy man but possible emergencies did have priority didn’t it?

Eddie wondered why Kurumi pulled out her wand. Watching the Gryffindor prefect he saw her swiftly stop a new monster cry from Laura with an effective Silencio spell. Normally casting spells on a fellow student was frowned upon but in this case Professor Roslund just mouthed a thank you to her before going back to Theroes. "Does the situation in the forbidden forest have anything to do with the incident with the rogue hippogriff that Professor Williamson just mentioned that Headmaster Tate dealt with?" Adding two and two together it seemed to fit unless his logic was of base.

If Hogwarts hadn’t picked up on the legendary clumsiness of Professor Edvard Roslund they were about to. Focusing on Thereos and being mostly in his own bubble Edvard wasn’t exactly keeping his feet firmly in the ground. When little Indiana came up and tugged at his sleeve he started to topple over as his balance gave way at the sudden pull. Flexing with his arms Edvard just looked into the young girl’s eyes as he fell backwards.

Laura looked at Minerva and nodded her head, asking her if she was okay when she couldn't speak, that was just weird, then she shook her head when she said they were going to go back to the castle, nope she was staying with the Professor's that way she knew she was safe.
Laura would have stayed where she was behind the Professor but at that moment the Professor was falling over so Laura had to jump out of the way before she got squashed, seriously though she hoped the Professor was okay but now who was she supposed to hide, saying that she would stay where she could see all three professor that way she would be extremely safe, but if Minerva tried to move her she would run and hide back behind one of the Professors.

Having the rare opportunity to look down at Professors, Oakey decided to speak up about more creature sightings. Professor Oakey said to the pile of them laying on the ground. Professor Roslund He said correcting himself so as not to confuse any of the others laying down. There was a Blast-Ended-Skrewt in the Pathways not to long ago. The weird crab-hybrid had left a nasty bruise on Oakey's side as a good reminder from that day.

The professor was startled as someone fell into her...and the next thing she knew she was on the ground...o wait no...was she laying on top of someone with someone on top of her...o how she hated people sandwiches especially when they were unplanned and when she was the meat in between the bread...
She instantly start squirming hoping not to hurt anyone but she was being SMOOSHED!...and she couldn't breath...and she still wasn't sure who she was laying on and was that Edvard on top of her...was this a joke....had she missed the tackle Gemma memo...
"Ummmm...Edvard...could you kindly GET OFF OF ME..." yes she said it sternly but in the nicest sternness ever heard..."I don't like my view from the ground..." and then it hit her...what if the students, or even one of the new hottie professors had seen this...instantly her face began to turn a deep shade of red...
And then a student walked up and didn't even offer them help....o goodness....

"Yeah there definitely was. It scratched up my arm, here," William mentioned, rolling back his shirt sleeve to demonstrate the scar. "Come to think of it, there was also a thestral by the front gate and a black unicorn at the edge of the forbidden forest. I also heard about a blast-ended skrewt on the pathways but that's..... pffft, that was probably nothing."
Okay so maybe he had earned his pay already by keeping the wild animals in line, but still. Were they anything to be concerned about? Was wild animals at Hogwarts in general anything to be concerned about?
"I'd still like to wait and hear from Thereos before we start jumping to conclusions," the Care of Magical Creatures teacher professed. "They're just animals." No biggie.
He was about to give Thereos a nudge when a professor pile-up seemed to happen, unfortunately with the timely arrival of Gemma and Isobel. Oops! Haha looked like Edvard was clumsier than William!
The very mature professor clapped a hand over his mouth just as a snort of laughter escaped. Haaaaaaaaaaa! This looked HILARIOUS!
And no, he wasn't offering his assistance to help any of them get up. Snicker.

Isabelle's eyes widened in shock as Eddie came tumbling towards her and the Muggle Studies professor. It happened almost in slow motion, and she didn't have the chance to get out of the way. Next thing she knew there were two adults crashing full into her. Arms flailing, Issy lost balance herself and went tumbling to the floor, a loud "Oooooffff" escaping as their full weight landed on her. Owww, ribs.
For a few seconds she just lay there, trying to breathe, but it wasn't working. Then she heard Gemma's voice and the very good idea that she had. "Uhhh, yes...please....off," she said inbetween breaths. She'd only come down to see if she could help with anything, now this.
And of course she heard the stifled laugh from William. Which earned him a are-you-going-to-help? glare.

Oh. Merlins. Big. Flowerly. Knickers. What had she started? Indiana's eyes widened as she watched how Professor Roslund tumbled backwards, into two other professors. And then all three of them had ended on the floor. Oh dearie me. What on earth had she done. The little Ravenclaw gasped, staring down at the floor. "Uh oh..." She murmered quietly, staring at the floor. She had really thought that she hadn't tugged on Professor Roslund too hard. But now like. He was lying on the floor with two other Professors. Opps.
"Oppsie.....I think I killed them..." You know. They were kind of all on the floor. Oppsie. She hadn't meant that too happen. The little Hutchinson glanced around, to see what other professors were here. Oh no! Her head of house was here. Zomg. He was totally going to expell her because she had like killed some of the professors. Well really. It wasn't that much of her own fault was it? Professor Roslund had ben the one that had fallen over. But Indy really didn't want to get expelled. Blinking back tears, because she really di not want to cry, she clung onto her teddy some more. Pondering for a second, the ravenclaw moved forward, and hooked her arms around Professor Vindictus. He'd protect her right? He was her head of house after all. "I didn't meannnnnnn it." Really. Oh. Merlins. Big. Flowerly. Knickers. What had she started? Indiana's eyes widened as she watched how Professor Roslund tumbled backwards, into two other professors. And then all three of them had ended on the floor. Oh dearie me. What on earth had she done. The little Ravenclaw gasped, staring down at the floor. "Uh oh..." She murmered quietly, staring at the floor. She had really thought that she hadn't tugged on Professor Roslund too hard. But now like. He was lying on the floor with two other Professors. Opps.
"Oppsie.....I think I killed them..." You know. They were kind of all on the floor. Oppsie. She hadn't meant that too happen. The little Hutchinson glanced around, to see what other professors were here. Oh no! Her head of house was here. Zomg. He was totally going to expell her because she had like killed some of the professors. Well really. It wasn't that much of her own fault was it? Professor Roslund had ben the one that had fallen over. But Indy really didn't want to get expelled. Blinking back tears, because she really di not want to cry, she clung onto her teddy some more. Pondering for a second, the ravenclaw moved forward, and hooked her arms around Professor Vindictus. He'd protect her right? He was her head of house after all. "I didn't meannnnnnn it." Really. She hadn't. Indy had just wanted to know what was going on.

Isabelle's eyes widened in shock as Eddie came tumbling towards her and the Muggle Studies professor. It happened almost in slow motion, and she didn't have the chance to get out of the way. The very mature professor clapped a hand over his mouth just as a snort of laughter escaped. Haaaaaaaaaaa! This looked HILARIOUS!
And no, he wasn't offering his assistance to help any of them get up. Snicker.
Gemma glanced up from the ground towards the young girl...now hiding behind Max...she really wanted to be mad at the girl, but A. that wasn't like Gemma and B. she was just sooooo darn cute all upset that Gemma couldn't be mean to the girl...
Then she heard the laugh and...was that a snort...she was going to be made at the man until she heard the snort and then she smiled as well...not her usual big brilliant and shiny smile but still a little smirk through her red cheeked face.
She finally shoved...but politely shoved Edvard off her and then she quickly hopped up...a little angry that no one had helped her up...where were the manners of these people. Once she was sure that her butterfly slipper covered feet had a good balance under them, she reached her hand out to Isabelle and turned her head towards William slightly.
"Here, Isabelle, let me help you up since no one around here seems to have any manners enough to help us out..." she said cocking her left eyebrow slightly...and then she said teasingly but serious at the same time...."I mean all I hear is what sounds like a pig in the area..." she said with a little wink...
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

The Blast-Ended-Skrewt was NOTHING!?!?!?!?!? Like he would know (even if he was the Care Of Magical Creatures Professor). Williamson never showed up and left a couple young students and the Ancient Ruins Professor to deal with it.
Professor Williamson. Oakey spoke to the COMC Professor he was hesitant but went ahead anyways I got a bad bruise from the Skrewt. It shot itself like a cannonball. He lifted his shirt slightly to show the round black and blue bruise that left Oakey only able to sleep on one side for the past couple of nights. Right so there! don't go calling my formidable foe "Nothing". He lowered his shirt back down. The bruise looked pretty painful so he didn't want anybody to look at it anymore.

Laura didn't like the look around here and so she did the best thing possible, since her last hiding place was still down on the floor she went and hid behind this professor, she softly tugged at the Professor shirt, hoping she would take off the silence spell that the other girl had put on her, she had stopped crying and was feeling a bit safer but she wasn't going to go anywhere where there wasn't a Professor.
Sophie was hearing voices but couldn't figure out exactly what they were saying. She was still on her sleeping bag, but she was looking up trying to understand what was going on. Commotion. Many students getting up and plenty of professors there. It seemed pretty serious now.
Sophie sat down just in time to see a couple of professors falling down. She suppressed a laughter and watched as everybody moved around packing their things. "What...?" She didn't really want to get up and go back to the dorms. How boring!

Zhenya thought she knew what Laura was thinking, that even though she seemed to trust her, she didn't trust the centaur. Well, that was fair enough. And she just wanted to stay next to the protection of the Professor.
"Laura would you feel safe next to Professor Hadley?" she asked, looking around. She couldn't immediately see her, but maybe she was with students somewhere.

Right, Tate would know what to do with a copy of this book. I'll hold onto it for now if you want? In the mean time I think you best start packing up. We can leave once Hadley makes her way down here
Zhenya laughed at Oakey. That was funny, but she wasn't going to see if it were true - gross! "Yeah Laura I bet you taste awful! I think the Centaur would rather take a dip in the Black lake to find dinner than eat you," she joked. Maybe jokes was a good way of getting Laura to calm down.

From her prone position on the floor Isabelle turned her head as the little girl who has tried to get Eddie's attention went to hide behind Max. Poor thing, she thought she'd killed them - "Don't...worry, my...dear," Issy stuttered, "we're fine! Just a little...winded." With the possibility of bruised ribs. Especially as she had landed awkwardly on her left side.
But as it turned out she didn't need to wait long for help to get up. Although it came from a person who also needed help herself. As Gemma shoved Edvard and moved off Issy, she rolled to the side slightly and felt her ribs with her right hand. Tender. She smiled as she reached out and grabbed the offered hand from Gemma. "Thank you," she said, pulling herself to her feet and brushing her robes down. "Yes, it seems so. Very unhelpful little pigs at that..." Isabelle glanced over at William and the corners of her mouth curled into a small smirk. Well, the evening was turning out to be eventful.
"Are you alright though?" Issy enquired after the welfare of the Muggle Studies professor, looking her up and down to see if there were any injuries. "And you, Eddie?"

She really wished Kurumi would take that stupid spell off of her, but she knew why she did it. Laura always seemed to have miss understandings with the professors and other students.

Minerva was going to head to collect Laura's things when she turned to the fallen professors. "Would you like help up?" she reached her hand to them to try and help.

Laura looked out from behind the Muggle Study Professor, seriously though was Zhenya calling her an old sock, that wasn't nice, she then realised that Zhenya probably was just cheering her up, she wanted to give Zhenya a hug but she didn't want to leave the Professor side, if she moved she might get frightened again at least she knew she was safe her but where was Professor Hadley, Laura hadn't seen her for ages.
"Ok that would be good. Would it be ok if I came with you though. Because I want to find out who this lord voldemortist is for myself." Nate whispered to Oakey. He then heard him say we should start to pack up. Nate looked down at the book. Thankfully his eyes weren't burning. Hopefully Oakey and Nate would figure this all out by showing it to the headmaster tommorow. Now Nate couldn't wait until then. This would be the first time he is meeting the headmaster in person. Oh this was going to be a long time at hogwarts Nate thought.

The professor was startled as someone fell into her...and the next thing she knew she was on the ground...o wait no...was she laying on top of someone with someone on top of her...o how she hated people sandwiches especially when they were unplanned and when she was the meat in between the bread...
"Ummmm...Edvard...could you kindly GET OFF OF ME..." yes she said it sternly but in the nicest sternness ever heard..."I don't like my view from the ground..." and then it hit her...what if the students, or even one of the new hottie professors had seen this...instantly her face began to turn a deep shade of red...

In a matter of seconds Edvard was lying on the ground on top of Gemma and Isabelle. Squirming as little as possible to no hurt the ladies he tried to disentangle himself from his colleagues. It was proving difficult since their limbs seemed to be connected somehow. "I’m trying Gemma and Isabelle. It’s not that easy as you can see. Ooof…" He replied exasperatedly. He was trying to get off and why wasn’t anyone rushing to their aid?

At that moment at student walked over to what could only be described as a professor pile or sandwich. Edvard thought the boy was going to offer his assistance but no, instead he just wanted to inform him that there had been a Blast-Ended-Skrewt in the pathways some days ago. Edvard wasn’t exactly in the mood or a position to answer that comment so he just nodded to the boy as if saying. 'I hear you'.

Edvard rolled his eyes "Well you are the creature expert William. If you say we shouldn't jump to conclusions we won't until Thereos sheds more light on what is going on." He wasn’t going to argue against a colleague who taught COMC for a living. It would come back to bite him.
Lying on the pile he expected William to give them all a hand up but no he just stood there and laughed. Glaring at him Edvard said "A little help here if you please William?"

Oh merlin’s beard now little Indiana was freaking out thinking that she had killed them just because she had caused the domino effect in the first place. Glancing up at her Edvard called out kindly "Indiana, we are okay a little winded and ruffed up but okay. Don’t cry dear." Fighting to get his legs free from under the ladies as well as his arms he managed to roll a little sideways but not off Gemma.

It became Gemma who in the end managed to push him off her. Landing on the ground a bit ways off Edvard took a moment to get his limbs back in control. "Sorry about this. I’m clumsy but usually not this clumsy. I hope you two are okay" He apologized, red faced with embarrassment as he sat up next to Gemma on the rug covered ground.

Scratching his head Edvard got to his feet albeit at a bit of wobble at first before he found his footing. "I’m all right I think. I might have bruised an arm and I feel a bit winded but otherwise I’m good." He said to the ladies. "How did you fare in the fall Isabelle you had to take the brunt of all our combined weight?" Two professors landing on you must have hurt.
