Aurora noticed a lovely flower just nearby and she was looking at it when Erin asked her a question, "What? Oh yeah. That was a very interesting lesson. I like Prof. Schirmer. Too bad we lost 5 points due to tardiness though."

Erin waited for her reply. And it took longer than it should be. She looked at Aurora removing her gaze from the view of green plants she was stick with at the moment.
Turned.

It was beautiful. A lovely flower she'd never known existed. It was all alone hiding from the bushes of other plants. She was drawn by its beauty, just like Aurora and there is something that is pulling her gaze straight to the flower. She thought for a moment, is this magic too? Then she heard Aurora talk. She was distracted and gave her eyes to her friend.

"Yeah. But everyone's got deductions too. It's just one person though," she said smiling. "Professor Schirmer is a good one. I hoped the others are as good as well."

She was really taken back by the magnificent flowers that grew around the lounge. Aurora couldn't stop looking at them so she forced herself to listen to Erin. "Yeah, there is that. And I agree that tardiness should be penalized even if it is only one person. Well about the others-- I've heard that the Potions prof. is really tough."

She was given a heads up about the Potions prefessor. She's quite the silent type who's going to give you chills at class. "I guess, we need to study Potions right away," she said jokingly.

Aurora's taake on tardiness is a little slash on her. "With that, I need to keep track of my schedules. Being late is a punishable offense," she said making her head a little higher. She does this everytime she gets caught up with things like tardiness. Well, she's always been late for class in Muggleworld. And they deduct points that affects you solely unlike here at Hogwarts, house points will be deducted and everyone's going to be affected.

Orr laughed, "Yeah. we should. I really wouldn't want to be on her bad side." Hearing Erin talk about her schedule made Aurora nod. "Yeah, me too. It's the one thing that I don't like about house points. When people get points that's great but to lose points? If it ever happens to me-- I know that I'll feel so bad"

It was easy to talk to Aurora. Just like laying flat in her bed waiting for sleep to take her away and drift in her dreams. That's how she feels right now. The place is just so relaxing that she wanted to doze off a little.

"Some of the students are heading to her office already to face the unknown before it happens," she laughed and she thought she cannot laughed again like this once they've already met her. It will probably break her emotional bones. She need to prepare herself.

"How do we actually earn house points? At Charms, we lost points but didn't even earned one," she asked her.

Orr lied down on the long stone bench she was sitting on and stared at the ceiling. It was really quite beautiful with some of the plants reaching high up to almost touch the ceiling. "Hmm..? Yeah it would seem that one and I can say that I'm not really looking forward to her lessons in that aspect." She thought about Erin's question, "You know? I never realized that we never earned points in Charms but I have heard that you get points for doing your homework."

She was surprised by Aurora's sudden movement. She was sitting at the edge of her seat and now, she was lying down the floor cement. Weird, she thought. She gotten up and pulled her up, "Aurora, you should not lie there. The chair's more comfortable I assure you," she said becoming worried. Is Aurora joking her? Because if she does, she's totally dead and she smiled at the thought.

She was also worried about Potions. Will they live up to the Potions Master's standards. Erin wished that in taking their OWLS, she'll still be with this wonderful friend of hers. She just read the OWLS in Hogwarts, A History. "Shall we go and see the Potions Master and introduced ourselves. Albeit, she's going to like us. We're adorable!" she said laughing.

Orr got pulled up by Erin. "What are you doing? Oh... you thought that I had gone crazy? No." Makes space on the bench which is a really long one. "Just lie down on it and look up at the ceiling and see how the plants are climbing to it. Beautiful isn't it? It's like a whole another world. But anyway, yeah going to see the Potion Master does sound like a good idea..."

Aurora does. She really thinks it's a good idea to see the Potions Master before meeting her in class. Well, on Erin's part, she doesn't think so. Ooooh! She doesn't even want to attend Potions. She was sure lots more of points would be taken out from the students and probably that'll include her. She's good in cooking but brewing potions? Naaahh...

"Potions would be a mess. I mean not for you maybe, but for me," she buried her face to her palm and shake her head. "I hope, I won't make any trouble. Just imagine if she'd taken points from our house all because of me," she said.

Aurora hugged Erin, "No. Don't think like that. I mean sure she'll take off points from our house but you won't be the only one. Besides, I honestly don't think she will be that bad." Aurora looked up and noticed a lovely little blue bird fly into the lounge. "Hey, look at that!"

She likes sweet girls. These girls, Minerva and Aurora makes her feel at home with her little Sissy. How is she going to miss Christina if she's living here with her in the face of these girls. "I just hope we're going to do well. Charms is something but Potions is different. We need exact measuremments and all. At home when I cook meals, I just do it in estimates," she was really worried. The thing that she thought earlier having an advantage since she's good at cooking seemed to drift away like the blue bird Aurora saw flying up the sky. It was so relaxing just sitting here with a friend she had just known yesterday yet she feels she'd known forever.

"That blue birds going home to her family, I guess," she muttered then suddenly thought, "So, can airplanes reached this place? I've read from Hogwarts, A History that this place is enchanted so that no one can find it."

Aurora watched the bird fly away and turned to Erin, "Hmm...I don't think they can. I mean the castle is enchanted against muggles like it says in Hogwarts: A History and airplanes are a muggle invention. Most likely there is a spell that tells them that there is a huge mountain here or something..."

It was a relief that even she's talking to a Muggleborn like her, they both have a say on things about Wizarding world. That's a Ravenclaw student. And they know their books. Ravenclaws are clever but they know how to credit other people by saying where the information came from. Maybe Erin had come up to this place before and hadn't even noticed that this place is going to be her home for 7 years. "Before my mother died, we were always traveling and maybe we've gone to this place without even botehring what's on the other side of the mountain," she said smiling .

"Aaah.. I miss Muggleworld. And mind you, I love airplanes. I guess, I'm going to love flying too. I'm so excited for our first flying lesson," she said beaming at the thought.

Aurora nodded, "it is possible that if you were in Scotland then you must have been here and didn't know about it because you were with your mum. I know! I can't wait for the flying lesson. Did you realized that we're doing what they have shown for years in muggle movies--using our wands and now going to be flying on broomsticks?"

Aurora's voice went a little pitchy at the topic about magic. Erin had been avoiding it with other students who are Pureblood or Half-blood since she knows they've got more experience in magic than she is. But magic is the reason that's why they're here.

To learn magic.
To control magic.
And to make magic themselves.

"I like action type movies in Muggleworld but I'm more on the fantasy side. You know like Cinderella stories and Snow White," she said feeling a little ashamed since Aurora's interest kind of hyped up because of those movies that practically uses magic to protect themselves. "My sister and I used to go to cinemas together and she's the one who's so interested in movies involving magic and wands," she said remembering how Christina imitates the wand movements and the spell Abra Cadabra. She beamed at the thought.

Orr grinned. It really was nice talking to Erin--what both of them being muggleborns and new to the whole magic thing. She was afraid of saying the wrong thing--just like what happened in Charms--and it was nice to know that there was others in the same situation as her. She nodded, "I love the fantasy movies--my favorite is 'The Golden Compass' which is terribly old and very retro I guess. What fantasy movies do you like?"

"The usual ones I guess, Tangled, Cinderellas, Alice in Wonderland," she said reminiscing the times she was watching these with Christina. If Erin misses her, what does she expect of her sister? Erin has friends before she sleeps but Christina is stuck with Nanny Lisa. What a pity. "The Golden Compass, I've heard of it but I havent' watched it really," she said serenely.

Orr said, "I love Trangled and the very old--almost ancient Alice in Wonderland--the Disney one. Oh, well you're not missing much--I just like The Golden Compass because it is just really mysterious, etc. Do you think that our sisters miss us? I hope so but my owl, Hazel hasn't come back. I sent her with a message yesterday."

Ooops! And now she remembered she hadn't written yet to her sister or to her father. She's actually enjoying Hogwarts. She almost forgot them. She needs to write to them soon and tell them the new spells and wand movements she had just learned. She can used her wand properly now.

"I know Christina's going to miss me but she's going to miss me more if I didn't write to her," she said. "I need to write to her at the dorm."

Minerva walked to the Terrace enjoying the sun. She noticed Erin talking with someone. She didn't want to interrupt but really wanted to talk with Erin. So she walked over "Umm Erin can I talk to you for a second?"

Erin and Aurora were quiet for a moment when Minerva came running in. Why are Mummies and Daddies still name their kids nowadays with ancient ones? Maybe it has something to do with wizard traditions. She laughed at her weird thoughts.

"Oh yeah!" she said hastily looking from Aurora to Minerva. The girl motioned Erin toward an empty corner a little away from Aurora like she doesnt' want her to overheard the talk. "I miss you!" she blurted out and hugged her friend.

Minerva was glad for the hug. "Is everything ok Erin?" Minerva said to her friend. "I've missed you and Harv and I have been hoping that because we are.. well.. together it wasn't getting weird between the three of us. Harv even said he thought you might be distant and I don't want that at all you were my first friend other than him and I don't want to lose you. I know you were upset the other day with your other friend and Oh Erin I don't want that between us." Minerva felt herself get very emotional she was so afraid to lose her friend. "If you don't feel Harvey and I should be together..."Minerva didn't even finish the sentence she really didn't know how to.

It was all over their face. Harvey and Minerva are conspiring. Do they think she's distancing herself? Why on Earth would they think that? They're making it such a big deal. They're happy. She's happy for them. What's the problem with that? Erin finds none. All Harvey and Minerva needs is assurance. But she'd assured Harvey many times that she's happy for the both of them. She doesn't expect them, of course, to be with her all the time. What would people say? Erin's got no friends and she's forcing herself to be with two people who don't want any company.

"Of course, everything's fine Minerva. I still wanted to be with the both of you but I understand the fact that you need time for each other," she said sounding a little irritated with this. She's been repeating it ever since they've got together and it seems like, still nothing sinks in. "You and Harvey are best for each other. Don't mind me or other people. I can take care of myself," she said smiling. Harvey and Minerva must really love her. They cared for her feelings. She just hopes, they'd stopped thinking that she's pitiful for not having a lovelife.

Louisa suppressed a smile and a stream of questions when he said he did hold a girl's hand before. It was rather... weird for him to be able to do that. In Louisa's head, he was just a too cocky boy to do that. Meh. Maybe he was good from the inside but didn't show it. She believed in those since, you know, Enya wasn't the best friend of the week - she had no problem punching a best friend or shouting at her every five minutes, so yes Louisa was going to believe that Joanthan was just a male version of Enya. Only less fiery.

The confused tone of his reply, however, was totally understandable. He didn't faint at least. Heh. As for now, she had to come up with a 'normal conversation' that didn't include arguments, teasing or mocking.

Okay, that was harder than she thought. "How was your summer?" What? She asked this to any stranger once they meet. Besides maybe she'll figure more things about his background as who he lived with, his interests, his..uh...whatever.
