Alyssa was glad to be outdoors. She was really glad to see on the notice board that the Care of Magical Creatures was going to resume. She slowly walked down towards the Forbidden Forest and saw someone she vaguely recognized but knew wasn't a Hogwarts staff faculty, waiting for the students to arrive. "Good afternoon, Sir. I'm here for the Care of Magical Creatures class. Will you be our teacher?" Alyssa smiled at the distinguished gentleman before her.

Harvey walked down to the edge of the forest. Never been here before, it was all so exciting now. He was looking forward to this class, once he got there he saw a man standing there with his arms behind his back. "Hello Sir, how are you?" he asked politely. He didnt know who this was he had never seen him before. But he stood there waiting for the others to arrive and for class to start

Justin walked down to the Paddock and found his friend Harvey and figured he'd stand next to him while they waited for the class to start.

As Harvey was waiting he felt someone next to him. He looked round to see Justin standing there. "Good to see you man." Harvey said giving him a smile.

As she exited the castle and headed across the grounds, Sierra Greingoth eyed the man waiting for them by the Forbidden Forest. She didn't know him, but her father did, of course. After all, her father was the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, and unless this department head had been living under a rock since he'd been hired, he'd know her father, as well.

...and just how did she know this man was a department head? Well, from appearance alone, of course. Being the daughter of the Senior Undersecretary had left her pretty familiar with the latest happenings at the Ministry. She confidently approached the man and looked him in the eye as she said, "You're one of the new department heads in the Ministry, yes? I'm Sierra Greingoth, and I believe my father works with you."

She gave him one of her rare smiles. After all, it wouldn't be good for him to go back and tell Daddy Greingoth that his little girl had been rude. Yup, Sierra knew just who to get in good with, and this man fit in that very category.

Minerva got down near the forest waiting for class to start.

Care of Magical Creautures! Kennedy gingerly made his way down to where a man was. He really excited to be out in the fresh air and going to a class he thought he was going to enjoy. He liked animals... although, he wasn't sure what kind of animals the professor man was going to show them. Hopefully nothing too big, dangerous and scary. He'd be satisfied with snake or even unicorn, those would be SO cool.

He spotted some of his classmates and the professor man. "Good day...Professor," he said with a polite smile. He didn't know the man's name.

Presley had never been to a CoMC lesson before. There was one last year, but it had gotten cancelled pretty quickly. Due to the teacher never showing up...Consequently she was very excited for the lesson today. She skipped down the lawn to the gathered students, and surveyed the scene. The man who was supposed to teach them today looked very nice. Still, he was unfamiliar. Presley smiled politely. "Hello, sir!" She had learned better than to ask "what are we learning today" but the temptation was still there. She wanted to know why the school would have a guest teacher for a class that never occured but once. It must have been important.

Having seen the announcent on the notice board, Daichi made his way towards the edge of the forest. No matter how many times he had walked passed the forest he still got a bit nervous being so close. But , it was a lesson so he HAD to attend.

Seeing a few of the other students, the second year made his way towards them.

"HI Professor McCla----" Daichi wanted to greet but when he saw that the person was not Professor McClane his smile turned up side down and he stared at the man.

O_o WHO ARE YOU?!

"S-sorry, sir!" He finally realised that he was being rude and quickly bowed , his dark black hair falling in front of his eyes. "Sorry! i thought you were someone else..." Biting his lower lip he got back up and smiled , although it was a bit of a nervous smile.

"Are you a new Professor, sir?" he asked, cocking his head to the side as his nervousness slowly faded away and his natural curiousity got back in place.

Angelina walked down to the edge of the forest to start her first COMC class. With a smile she said, "Good day Professor." She seemed to be excited, because this was her first to working with magical animals, or actually any animals.

Miss Lovegoods had been properly surprised to see a creatures lesson planned for later that day when she passed the bulletin board in her common room. That hadn't really had one all term and she had mostly been relying on her own studies to keep up with the class.

So she was more than excited to get to work hands-on with creatures again as she made her way across the grounds. "Hello, sir." She greeted the man with a smile and glanced over at the forest while waiting for this lesson to begin.

Making her way down to the Care of Magical Creatures area, Stella had one hand in her bag as her egg for Charms was back to the vibrating. She'd need to check it later, since she imagined Professor McClane would rather she not be worrying about other classes during her own. In the meantime, at least until she got to class, she was just going to keep her hand on the egg. That way she could at least monitor the temperature and such, even if she was going to have to stop once she got to class. She didn't want to have to explain to anyone why her hand was hidden, either.

Especially as she arrived near the Forest, as was stated on the announcement regarding the lesson, and she saw someone who was decidedly not the professor standing there. Did someone else leave without makign it through the term?, she wondered. She wasn't about to ask this man, though. "Good afternoon, monsieur," she said simply, instead. At least it seemed like, for the most part, everyone else was just as surprised to not see the professor teaching the lesson.

William made it close to the forest. He wants to make sure Minerva is protected as he sees her here. " Hello professor" William told him.

The first Care of Magical Creature class of the year...and so late in the year also. Victoria skipped down to the grounds from the castle above, feeling excited for the first Care of Magical Creature class ever at Hogwarts.

Victoria stopped when she saw a few students gathered up near the Forbidden Forest. Errr...please don't be in there! Victoria prayed silently and turned her gaze away from the forest, and to the man instead. "Good morning-" From the look of the man, he was not a Hogwarts a professor of any kind, a more formal man with a Ministry look. It may not be appropiate to call him professor. "-substitute?" Victoria merely guessed.

" Hey, Harv. I've been looking foward to this class all year."

Harvey chuckled "Yeah I think we all have been waiting for this class, I wonder what magical creature we are going to be looking at today. I dont know any magical creatures, so I am really excited to be here for this class." he said smiling

" My mum loves magical creatures. She's got a whole section of books in her study at home about them. " Justin beamed.

Care of Magical Creatures.

It's April and sooner or later their OWLs and NEWTs will be already given. Time flies quite fast mostly these days and Jonathan just felt like he needs to be in pace with it. Jonathan walked outside and saw a different professor????

Who is this man? A substitute or is he a replacement for that previous professor. "Good day, professor...." is he? "... sir" he immediately added. He looked at the man and tried to find himself a good seat.

Harvey grinned "Really? wow! It must be cool to read all about these creatures. Have you read those books your mom has?" Harvey asked still grinning

" No, I wasn't allowed to go into her study. She thought that I'd ruin her books or something. " Justin chuckled softly.

Harvey looked Justin up and down and then back up again "Yes I have to say that..... I agree with your mom. Imagine if she had let you into her study, oh the horror! poor lovely books!" he said trying to keep a serious face and trying to supress a laugh at the same time.

Justin burst out laughing as Harvey goofed around.

Harvey did a fake shocked face "What are you laughing for? I am serious, think of the carnage that would occur if you were let loose inside that study. It's a good thing she dont let you in there." he said, he couldnt hold it in any longer and Harvey too burst out laughing. It felt good to goof around with a friend after such a long time.

Justin still laughing said, " Just imagine what these hands are capable of. " Justin's eyes started to water as he held up his hands. " Just think of it."
