"You'll be able to cast it one day," Vashti said with a smile. "It might be difficult now, but you won't be a first year forever." Which was a bit unfortunate really. Vashti sort of wished it was possible to stay that young forever. Life at eleven or twelve was so much easier than now, when she was older. Sigh.

She laughed a little. "Sure, but there's not much to show. I haven't really been able to conjure a corporeal one yet." Mostly it just looked like a bunch of mist, not any sort of animal. Hopefully today would be her lucky day.

Pam walked into the strange, unfamiliar, room. I need a place to yell. Was what she thought of, outside in the corridor. What it gave her, was a dim room. There weren't any chairs, or props of any kind. The only thing in here was the torches, hung on the wall. They emited a small amount of light, making the room look empty, and neverending. "Hello?" She said, making sure no one was in the room. "hello...hello...hello" was what she got in response. Cool! She thought. Echo.

She walked a few paces, and turned around, making sure the door was still behind her. After turning back around, she screamed into the darknes. Nothing special. Just a long, loud, scream. Finally, she let the tears fall down her cheecks that burned with anger. The yelling felt good.

After yelling a few more times, she collapsed onto the floor in tears. Her hair a rainbow of colors. It was red, with blue tints. A small dash of green could be found aswell. They showed her emotions. The red for anger. Anger at why she couldn't be good enough. Anger at Fai for making someone she cared about feel so emotionally torn. The blue was for sadness. She was sad that she was a 'rebound' as they called it. She felt alone, and abandoned. And green for jealousy. She was jealous that this Fai girl got the one she loved and not her. How she gets to be with him, hug and kiss him, and dream of having a life together. Pam felt she would never get that kind of experience.

"What are you hoping to do when you finish Hogwarts?" she asked, going to her bag and getting out her camera to take some photos for Potions.

"Vashti, do you mind if I take a photograph of you casting the Patronus spell? It's for Potions," she said.

Really? He was still going to tell her the answer was no... without even knowing what it was she had been thinking about? Since when was he one to be so... ready and willing to tell her no?

Lifting her head off his shoulder she looked at him with a confused look. "Why do you want to know if you're just going to tell me no?" Seriously, what was the point in asking anything if she already knew the answer?

" Yes, I will slow down" William told Alex. " I have to leave now" William said to Alex,/william left to do homework,

Rose watched him leave, smiling. She was feeling happier than she had since she learnt of her Mum's fate. Then her smile faded. 'One month. A few weeks. She's going.' Rose frowned, tears pouring down her eyes.

*Opening his eyes he shrugged. There wasn't really a reason why he wanted to know other than he just wanted to know.*
"Just cause I guess..."

Just cause?

Just cause he wanted to actually be able to tell her no was more like it. She was pretty sure that he enjoyed knowing he was the only one she let get away with telling her no.

"If you insist on knowing, I was just thinking of what other silly things I could get you to do. Not that it really matters since you're just gonna tell me no." Like she was actually going to accept no for an answer anyway. He may think he gets away with telling her no but she knows what buttons to push to get her way with him. She'll just wait until he least expects something and then get him to do it.

Yep... she knew all she had to do was wait and she would be able to get her way with him.

*Seeing the look on her face Matty smirked and kissed her nose.*
"We are evenly matched... You can get me to do anything."
*And he knew that if he really tried he could get her to do anything as well. Grabbing his wand he pointed it at some cups and had them come over to them.*
"Will you forgive me for some hot chocolate?"

Okay, the kiss on the nose made her smile. She could never stay mad at him... even if she was only acting like she was mad just to get her way. "Yeah, I know I can. I got you to do that silly muggle dance... on the ice even didn't I." And she didn't even have to do much at all to get him to do it.

Grabbing one of the cups she grinned at him. "I might forgive you... if this hot chocolate is the best I've ever tasted."

What? He wasn't getting off that easy. Some simple cup of hot chocolate wasn't gonna get him off the hook.

Nate waited outside the Room of Requirement for Jez. They needed to talk. And duel. Pacing, he thought I need the place where Jez and I dueled last week. On his third pass, the door appeared. He propped it open so it wouldn't disappear, but kept his head out, looking for Jez.

Jez saw Nate almost as soon as she'd turned the corner into the corridor. She scowled. She'd had a feeling he'd sent the owl. She stood in front of the door, and on hips, glaring. "What?" she asked simply. No, Jez wasn't feeling polite today.

Nate welcomed Jez into the room. It was layed out slightly differenty than before, but it had the same idea. Open floor, many Death Eater dummies sprawled all over the place. Except this time there were lots of large mirrors randomly scattered about the room. "Jez, you seemed like you needed to talk. And I figured the dueling would help you out as well. So, assuming you have questions, let them fly," said Nate as he shut the door behind them.

Jez walked into the room and spun to face Nate. "Yeah, I do have questions." If this conversation was represented in cartoon, icicles would be hanging from her words. "Why can't you make up your mind? Why did you have to hurt Pam like that? You're such a player!" He'd asked for it. Jez provided. "And you asked me to come here to duel?" she asked in disbelief. She didn't want to admit it, but she'd been thinking of coming here anyway as soon as she'd found the time, and no doubt duelling would help. She didn't want to admit how well Nate knew her.
Jez spun to face the dummies, wondering how she could charm them into chasing Nate away from her special place.

Nate immediately reconsidered pointing out that the last thing Jez had said was a statement, not a question. He figured that saying something would get him petrified, stung, bound, tongue tied, bound again, and knocked out for good measure. In that order. "I--" Nate didn't really have any good answers for those questions. "I've made up my mind now..." he said meekly, "And as for hurting Pam, she's my best friend. She feels like a sister to me. And I do love her. But the love is different for both of them. I've called for them both in my sleep. I've had nightmares where they actually ended up killing each other. Without magic. Or weapons." Nate felt his emotions boiling over again. "Incendio!"
He flicked his wand at the nearest dummy, and it burst into a 10 foot high fireball.

"Oh no... it's no where near as good as yours. I guess I'll be in trouble..."
*Looking down he looked sad but was really just playing. That's when an owl burst threw the door and landed a letter on Matty's head. Picking it up he really did frown when he saw his uncles handwriting. Since Christmas Matty had been getting these letters from him letting Matty know that they could still not find his aunt. At first Matty was mad that no one told him, then that is family was splitting apart, but most of all that his aunt Kayla just up and left.*
"It looks like my aunts still not home..."

Dreams? Of Pam and Faina killing each other? That was both very weird and quite frightening. Jez shrugged non-commitedly, but inside she understood. That made her slightly less angry, but not much. She wasn't going to let him see that though. She pointed her wand at another dummy. "Confringo!" The dummy's arm flew off, but it stood and faced her. That's what Jez wanted. She wanted the dummy to fight back, for the adrenaline to flow and make her forget about everything. She yelled curses at the dummy, ducking and weaving as its friends were jolted alive by missed spells and started attacking too. She was in her element here, and before she knew it she was grinning at Nate and yelling, "Come on, or are you scared?!"

"Challenge accepted!" Nate yelled, running over to stand next to Jez, catching her eye and smiling. There was a flame shown in her eye that was one of pure emotion. Nate winked and said, "Happy Valentine's Day, Jez!" before getting back to back with her and throwing spells around at the dummies, most of them only impeding them, not destroying. But something was off. There were too many dummies...
The mirrors! "Jez, watch the mirrors!"

"Happy Valentine's Day yourself!" retorted Jez, smiling back at him. She turned around and cursed the dummy who was about to burn her. She couldn't hear his next words, but it sounded like something about mirrors ... Her next curse missed the dummy and shattered the mirror behind it. The mirror! "Oh ..." Jez stared at it for about three seconds, until she was snapped back to her senses by a sudden pain in her back. A dummy had pressed its burning fingers into her back and let rip with the sparks. Jez screamed in pain and collapsed, breathing ragged.
That hurt a lot.

Nate whirled around as soon as he heard Jez yell out. "Reducto!" he yelled, and the three nearest dummies were reduced to ash. "Nobody hurts my friends!" Nate kicked the ashes around the floor. He had no respect for the dummies. "Protego Maxima!" he said, creating a dome shield around himself and Jez, the dummies stupidly trying to push through it. "Jez, are you alright?"

Nerida turned and said Hey Erin! She looked around it had became crowded but she didnt want to say anything, she had picked this spot.This must have gotten very popular since the last time she was there. She asked So how have you been?

"I've been busy lately. There were lots of homeworks," Erin responded. She totally missed her friend. "How about you? You've grown a little..." she paused scanning Nerida's body, "...big." She wanted to say fat but she knew girls were so sensitive on things about their body.

Erin hugged her at the instant Nerida looked at her. Did she offended her friend? Nooo! And then Erin smiled widely towards her after the hug. "Neri, you know, we should try to eat ice cream some time."

"Oh I'm sure it's a lot better than mine." Even if it wasn't she would tell him it was. She really didn't want to act like she was mad at him any longer.

Just as she took a sip of her hot chocolate something came busting through the door. Setting her cup down before she ended up dropping it she looked up in time to see an owl flying around.

Wow, those things really do hunt you down until they find you.

Seeing the look on Matty's face as he read the letter she knew it wasn't good... and she was right. "I'm sure they'll find her soon." Okay, so it had already been several months and there was no sign of his aunt, but that didn't mean they had to give up hope.

Wrapping her arms around him she hugged him close to her. "You know I'm here for you if you wanna talk about it."

*Putting his arms back around her he sighed and nodded.*
"I know you are... there isn't anything to talk about though. She left, end of story."
*What really bothered Matty was his uncle. From what the papers have said he has cancelled a lot of meetings and appearances. That was not like his uncle Gabben at all. Another worry was his twin cousins Emma and Noah. Matty knew that when his half cousin Michael was taken back home by his real father it crushed him and his uncle. But what could Matty do? There were no leads and nothing he could do.*

Jez groaned. Yep, that hurt. A lot. She heard Nate shouting something, spells probably. She kept her eyes closed, waiting for the pain in her back to go away. She really hoped Nate could do that healing spell again.
Jez pushed herself up on her hands and knees. "I'm good," she said, looking up and trying to smile at Nate. "Thanks." She gritted her teeth as she stood. She could breathe normally now, but her back ached. Ow.
