The food is superb and the company is as well. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...uff/ravie2.jpg Banner Winner: Kay, demented_death_eater http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...ol/fgjsgjt.jpg |
Briley takes her seat for the first time at the Ravenclaw table. "I hope they have pudding..." she thinks to herself... |
Hope was watching the sorting remebering when she was sorted. She was so nervous! Just then a little girl was sorted into Ravenclaw, the first new Ravenclaw of the year! 'I think I might introduce myself, the poor thing is shaking! Hope thought to herself. "Hello there, my name is Hope Wetherwater. I'm a third year. How are you? Congratulations on being sorted to Ravenclaw! I bet that you're nervous about starting Hogwarts but it's great here, you're sure to make friends." |
Luna sat down at the Ravenclaw table she wasn't even close to hungry so she wasn't going to eat anything she just wanted to chat with other people make new friends basically or chat with old ones |

Damon was getting rather hungry the next day for breakfast and it was obvious that last night's meal had filled him up rather well and had made him hungry again several hours later, looking at what was available, it looked like soup was available on the menu today, so without further waiting Damon quickly loaded his plate with all kinds of soups, it did not matter what flavor or style of soup it was, Damon would have it all, looking around he wondered if any other fellow Ravenclaw's were looking for friends, he was open to talking to anyone. |
Pam plopped down on the bench, waiting for her friends, Jayden and Nate to come down from the Common room. She grabbed a plate and filled it with food, happy to finally have something to eat. |
Jayden walked into the Great Hall... Nate walking beside her, both of them following behind Pam, who was in a great mood.. skipping herself to the table. "She's quite the character, isn't she? Jayden said to Nate with a chuckle. |

I've been dragged to pretty much every wizarding social gathering imaginable, and because we have so much money, I pretty much get everything I want, and more. Which is nice and all.. but I wish they actually wanted to spend time with me instead of making up for lost time by showering me with money and gifts." Jayden whispered back. "So... what're you guys going to do for Christmas? Are you both staying here, or going home to visit?" Jayden asked curiously, while playfully ruffling Nate's hair with her hand. |

Gaby skipped happily down to the table and was greeted by the lovely sight of clean silverware and a whole room full of food. Absolutely brilliant - she could get used to this. It was great. Plus, classes must be starting soon, too. She couldn't wait for that. She already felt a little behind her fellow students, who had spent the feast demonstrating their wonderful magical skills. Hopefully she would catch up pretty soon. In the meantime, she would just read all her spellbooks. Again. Now then... there was the small dilemma of where to sit. She scanned the room and saw a couple of her friends from the feast, but she didn't want to interrupt anything. Perhaps she should just sit alone? But that seemed a little depressing. And lonely. So instead, she just stood there, slightly awkwardly. |
Kat shuffled into the great hall, mouth agape. Ever since she made it to Hogwarts she had been speechless at how beautiful it was. There were so many things she hadn't seen before; so many things she wouldn't believe if she wasn't seeing before her very eyes. As she walked into the great hall she surveyed the room, looking for her fellow Ravens. Making her way over to the table she chose a spot in the middle. All the food spread before her looked delicious! She grabbed a few small cakes and poured herself a cup of tea and ate quietly, looking around to see if there was anyone she recognized. Brushing a lock red hair behind her ear she took a sip of tea and choked . Sputtering she gulped down a few more mouthfuls of tea and cleared the obstruction. With a sigh of relief, she attended once again to her cake. |
Basil walked down the Ravenclaw table looking for a place to sit. He had been feeling rather lonely since arriving at Hogwarts and hoped he would make friends soon. His family was far from being a warm bunch of people, but at this point even they seemed like a much better prospect than being so unfamiliar with his surroundings. Seeing there was an empty spot next to a girl eating cake and tea he went to sit down. Quote:

Kat jumped when she realized someone was watching her choke."Ah, I-I'm fine!" Turning bright red, almost as red as her hair, she started rambling on about cake to try and distract from the fact that she had just choked on some. "Do you enjoy cake? I do! I love cake actually. Marbled yellow cake with chocolate frosting is one of my favorites, although pound cake is very good too. Does pound cake count as cake? It's almost like a bread..." Kat rambled on and on, trying to cover up the fact that she had just choked on that darn piece of cake. Shut up Kat, shut up! He doesn't want to hear your life story pertaining to cake, but alas, her mouth just wouldn't listen to her brain. "Chocolate bundt cake is really good too, especially if you put chocolate chips in it!...Ah! How rude of me. My name is Kat Hawthorne." Kat stuck out her hand and smiled, a little more relaxed and a little less red after her rant. |

After making this mental note, Basil realised he had once again been staring and the girl was now looking at him with her hand out. Had she just introduced herself and he missed it because he was concerned about regenerating cakes?! Oh man, I really am going to die a lonely old man if I can't even listen to someone introduce themselves without messing it up, he thought morbidly. Should he ask for her name again? Would she hate him for that? Surely she would hate him more if he called her a name that wasn't hers, so he should just ask her what her name was again, right? He took her hand and shook it firmly to try and give off an air of confidence he didn't really have (but his Father told him to always act like he had when introducing himself), "I'm Basil. Basil A. Mephisto Ferguson. Sorry I didn't quite catch your name. I was intrigued by the prospect of this regenerative pound cake you mentioned. Pleasedon'thateme." I hope I didn't say that last part out loud, he thought turning a bit red with embarrassment. |
Quote:
Kat took a moment to think about the prospect of a regenerative cake. "Hmm, I'm not sure why they call it a pound cake, but I'm quite sure it doesn't regenerate itself. Although, that's an amazing idea! I hope I learn a spell to make a regenerating cake! Then I'd never have to worry about running out." Turning back towards her cake, Kat took another bite of her cake and realized Basil didn't have any. She took the liberty of selecting a few delicious looking cakes from the table and offered him the plate. "Would you like some cake, Basil? They're quite delicious!" |
`to anyone. Beatrice felt very exhausted. She had practiced proper correct movements with her friend Orr, late last evening. She had been very indulged into perfecting it that she wasn't attentive enough with the time. By the moment she felt dizzy, her watch showed that it was already one o'clock in the morning. She was the only one left in the common room, all her friends went to sleep earlier. And that is why now, Beezus is feeling as if her head was under construction. She could not think well and her eyes were still blurry. She felt very tired and her mind was undeniably spinning. Not to mention that her stomach was making frenzy sounds now, signalling that she was hungry. And with that, after dressing up, she went to the Great Hall. She saw only a few number of the Ravenclawson the Ravenclaw House Table as it was still early in the morning. Yawning, she proceeded and took a seat, and slowly choose some food for her breasfast. This is gonna be some day, she thought. Chewing her food and looking at the other students. |

Basil was a little shocked at the nice gesture of Kat offering him some cake. He had almost forgot he had originally intended to eat when he came to the Great Hall earlier. "O-oh. Yes. Thank you. I love cake. My house elf, Floop, makes cake for me all the time." If there was a surface nearby that wasn't covered in food, Basil would have surely smack his head into it. Way to make yourself sound normal, Bas. Now she will definitely not want to be your friend. Well, maybe she was too busy eating cake or something and did't hear that he mentioned house elves. Basil engrossed himself in eating cake and drinking Pumpkin juice so that he didn't have to look at Kat and wouldn't make a fool of himself anymore. |
Quote:
Kat's eyes lit up at the mention of the house elf. She'd never actually thought elves were real, or that they were like...butlers...cooks...maids? "Oooh, a house elf? Is that like...a butler...but an elf? That's so fancy! Does he help you clean your room? I hate cleaning my room. It gets so messy and I don't know how, and picking it up takes sooooo much effort. I wonder if they have a spell for cleaning. That would be so convenient!" Kat realized she was babbling again and promptly stopped, taking a bite of cake and sip of tea. Girl, you need to learn to check yourself sometimes. Calm down, breathe. I mean, he's totally cute so you don't want him to hate you and your lack of knowledge for all things magical. Kat sat there worrying about her big mouth, but her curiosity started nagging at the back of her mind and before she could stop herself, she was asking more questions. "Hey Basil, what does the 'A' in your name stand for? It's gotta be something cool, I mean, the rest of your name is so cool!" Idiot! "Your name sounds so cool." I mean listen to yourself Kat, how awkward can you get. Taking a sip of tea, she blushed a little, trying to hide her insecurities as best she could. |

He tucked in and was thoroughly enjoying it until her owl arrived. 'I mustn't ask what's in the letter' he thought to himself. "OH GOD!" he exclaimed. "I was supposed to send my parents a letter yesterday!" he felt guilty again "I suppose it can wait another hour or two" he smiled. |
Quote:
Dear Chelsea, Durmstrang is off on break I haven't talked to you in a long time so I decided I'd send you a letter. So are you enjoying your self at Hogwarts? I hear your trying out for Quidditch as Seeker...well watch out because next year you'll have your self a bit of competition. My parents have decided to send me to Hogwarts for my third year so this will be my last year at Durmstrang. Their so terribly strict there I'll be thrilled to get out of that place. I hope your doing well but by the sounds of it you are. - Oliver She was excited "awesome" she said after reading the letter as she started eating again. "You should probably send them a letter soon. If your parents are anything like my aunt they are probably freaking out" she smiled. |
Quote:
He didn't want to ask because now whenever he did he felt intrusive. At that moment his little ginger cat came and sat next to him on the table. "What on earth are you doing out of the common room?" he asked the cat, then looked at Chelsea and gave her a wierd smile. |

How does she not know about house elfs? Is Kat a muggleborn? That is so cool. Would she hate me for asking about that? Basil's mind was zooming with questions so fast that he almost missed Kat asking about the "A" in his name. What?! She thinks my name is cool?! Why?! It's such a stupid name. Choking a bit on bit of cake he was eating, Basil decided he probably wouldn't get much over on Kat and launched into the ridiculousness that is his name. "It doesn't stand for anything. It's just an 'A.' In my family the Second-born child always has the Mother's Mother's name as their first middle name and the Father's Father's name as their second middle name. It's a tradition. Don't ask why. I don't even know why. Anyway, my grandmother's name is Annabelle and my parents felt bad giving me such a girly name, so they just gave me an 'A.' It was probably the nicest thing they ever did for me." Basil laughed nervously and reached across the table for some pudding to eat more as a distraction than for want of pudding. |

He looked back at the cat and then at her, "Oscar" he replied with a smile, he stroked the cat under it's chin and it started purring loudly. "Oh yeah, it's charms class now" he smiled, got up and started walking out "Are you coming?" he asked. He found a friend of his outside the hall "Take him to the common room please" he smiled. The boy did as he said. |
Quote:
Excited to her the explanation of his name, Kat turned and sat crosslegged on the bench. She nodded enthusiastically while Basil talked while munching on some cookies. When he had finished his explanation she sat back in awe. "There's so much tradition in your name! That's so cool! My parents were so uncreative with my name, and didn't even bother giving me a middle name, let alone two." Finally finishing her cake, Kat pushed her plate away from her, although the cornucopia of tantalizing food spread along the table was teasing her. I should probably stop eating...but I've never seen so many of these cakes and cookies and foods before that I just can't help myself! Kat took a delicious looking tart and a few cookies and refilled her cup with tea. "Do you have any pets? I'm debating between a cat and an owl. I figure an owl will be more useful but I love cats so I can't decide! Although, maybe a cat would get bored sitting in the common room all the time. At least the owl could get out and fly around, you know, see a little bit of the outside world." |
It was time to go and get something to eat after a hard morning of studying magic. Orr headed to the Great Hall where she noticed that there were a few students sitting at the tables...just an handful of students were at each of the tables. She sat down at the Ravenclaw and stared at her empty plate, trying to decide what she wanted to eat, when something caught her attention. She looked up to see the Slytherin girl who had the same name as her walk into the great hall. Orr wondered if she was bold enough to get her attention and talk to her. She was always happy to meet someone else who shared her unique name. "Um...um Aurora...Aurora Quinn?" She called out and started to wave at the girl. |
Aurora's feeling kinda nasty... Aurora was really hungry... She made her way into the Great Hall, still carrying her violin case and picking at the stubborn red stain on her jumper, and was headed straight for the Slytherin table when... Quote:
|
I can see that :P Quote:
Gathering her courage, she said boldly, "Hi Aurora. I'm Aurora." She laughed a little, "Yeah, what a coincidence that we share the same name. We have the same DADA class together and I just wanted to meet you in person outside the classroom. You can call me Orr if you like...it will be less confusing I suppose. Anyway, just wanted to say 'Hey'. Sorry if I interrupted you." Well--that wasn't so bad Orr thought to herself. She had stood up and spoke to an older student boldly and to a Slytherin nonetheless. |
Quote:
|
Quote:
What was this girl's problem? In any case she had stopped and was kind enough to talk to Orr and Orr supposed that she should feel honoured but she really didn't. What had she asked? Oh Potions? Well that was easy to answer. She answered, "Yeah, I like Potions." |
Quote:
"Good. I might ask you to help me with something." she said. If she turned out to be good enough... Finishing the bread and butter Aurora took out her wand and pointed it at her sleeve where the dark crimson mark was still refusing to budge. She muttered a few cleaning spells and managed to siphon most of it off... then she glanced back up to the other Aurora. "Word of advice for you, kid. Do not ever interrupt me when I'm on my way to eat. Ever. Because next time I might not be so nice." Well, she was here now and there was food on this table too. Shame all the table decoration was blue rather than green though, she shifted her violin case onto the floor and filled a plate with lunch. Oooh, spaghetti... |
Quote:
Orr lifted an eyebrow at Aurora's statement. She might ask me to help her with something?! It would be interesting to be asked to do something--hopefully not something too terrible or dangerous. Still she nodded at Aurora's word of advice, "Duly noted" she replied and thought that Aurora had the nerve to insult her and then sit at her table to eat. Squinting her eyes out her, Orr handed a bowl to her, might as well be friendly even if she never expected anything to come of it or to get a 'Thanks' in reply. |
Quote:
"Good, that'll help you." she said, the edges of her mouth twitching slightly. She kind of felt sorry for the kid, it wasn't her fault Aurora was in a foul mood... O___o She was still being friendly..? Aurora took the bowl. "Um, thanks." she said. Well, she might as well make some sort of conversation, "So, have you met any other older students?" she asked. Because it was always good to get your influence over who other kids liked... |
Quote:
And now the other Aurora asked her another question. She really ran hot and cold at the same time. Orr had better watch out because this girl really did spell out TROUBLE and boy, one thing that she didn't want to get into was trouble especially at Hogwarts. Who knew what kind of punishments they gave misbehaving students besides deducing points... Well she might has well give her an answer, "Well no. Not really. Not anyone from your year and above but I have met a really standoffish second year in my house whom you do remind me of. Must be the air here at Hogwarts..." she shrugged while dishing some food on to her plate. |

She spoke coldly, "Look, let's be honest. I made a mistake talking to you and we'll never be friends. That's fine by me. As for respect? I only respect my elders when they give me respect and/or give me a reason to respect them. Besides, except for the fact that you're two-three years older than me and have been at Hogwarts for the same amount of time, you're not really my elder plus you acted like I was nothing just now. So why should I give you respect?" Orr stared at Aurora in defiance biting her lip a little. Well she really put her foot in her mouth didn't she? Well she had had girls fighting her in her old school and she had been fearless. But that was with your friends there! Whispered a voice in her head, Yeah, but she couldn't be so scared of anyone here otherwise she would end up being scared of her own shadow. |

I had a great rp time with you ;) thanks! Text Cut: Aurora Quinn Orr gave a little smirk. She definitely knew how to push Aurora's buttons it seemed. She grinned at Aurora and said, "Maybe you're just really good at bring out my inner Slytherin?" She watched Aurora get up and put her wand in Orr's face. uh oh....I really didn't think this through Orr thought to herself. She started chanting to herself, Keep calm, keep calm! She closed her eyes not willing to see what spell Aurora would use on her. She waited a few seconds waiting for something to happen. Nothing happened. Instead she heard Aurora's voice: "You're mean, maybe you should have been Slytherin. Let's see if you can show your true colours." Or opened her eyes to see Aurora turn and leave. That was it!? She had thought that Aurora was going to really do something to her...Orr sighed and picked up her goblet. As she tilted it to take a drink...Aurora's parting words came back to her show your true colours. What did she mean by that? Orr thought for a sec, had she cast a spell without Orr knowing it? She took out her little mirror and looked at her reflection--smooth pale skin, hazel, and brown hair stared back at her. So Aurora hadn't done anything--yet. Orr looked at her plate of food and goblet suspiciously. She wouldn't, would she? Either way she wasn't going to take a chance-- Orr picked up a teaspoon and dipped it into her pumpkin juice gathering some liquid. She looked up and saw that there was a little flower presentation on the table near her. She pulled it towards her and tilted the liquid on to the plant-- almost immediately, the plant glowed a bright green. "Sneaky but clever." Aurora mumbled to herself. She wasn't going to finish her food and drink now. She looked at her goblet, maybe she should keep it. Learn what the ingredients were and so forth. It could also be used as evidence against the other Aurora. She grabbed the goblet and left the Great Hall |

"My name really isn't creative at all though, they just followed some silly unwritten rules about how they should name me so they didn't actually have to put effort into it." Dranking some more juice, Basil continued, "so does that mean muggles don't have naming traditions, then?" He wanted to ask all sorts of questions about muggles, but he restrained himself knowing that he needed to make this friendship secure first. "I have a cat, but my mum wouldn't let me bring him to school with me. I think magical cats are somehow able to get out of the common rooms and go do their own things when their owners aren't around. Otherwise there would probably be a lot of cat fights in the common rooms, don't you think?" Basil mused about this for a second and took a bite of his food while steeling himself to ask his real question. The most important question. "Do you by any chance want to be my study partner? You can say no if you hate me or something, don't worry. Nevermind. Sorry." Basil. Shut up. Stop talking. what are you thinking?! There goes you're only chance at a friend. |
Quote:
"Some muggles have naming traditions, but usually it's only very rich families, or very proud families. I have no idea where my name comes from...I think my parents just really liked cats...so they named me Kat." Kat was dumbfounded at the prospect of magical cats. Wait, wait, wait...even cats can use magic? I'd better be sure to get a magical cat, if I end up getting a cat. But what if my cat is better at magic than me...maybe it wouldn't listen to me at all...not that cats really ever do." When Basil asked Kat to be his study partner, she turned bright red, almost as red as her hair. I wanna be his study partner, but how do I respond to him without sounding too desperate... "I-um, I'd love to be your study partner!" Uugh, way to screw that up... Kat smiled at Basil, trying to keep herself from turning into a tomato. "And no, I don't hate you! Not at all, you dork!" She punched Basil playfully on the arm. Getting up from the bench and stretching, Kat tapped Basil on the shoulder. "Should we go explore the castle a bit? I'm getting a bit stiff just sitting here." |
Laila/Louisa! ^_^ Dallin was grinning. He was seventeen - and yes, he was still marveling in that fact. That called for a feast, too, in his opinion. The problem with that was that he couldn't go pig out in the kitchen, so he had to come to the Great Hall and make do with that. So he sat down at the Ravenclaw table and stared at the food while pouring himself some pumpkin juice. What to eat, what to eat? |
Quote:
The only problem was... where was this boy? Since Ellie wasn't in her dorm, it was so likely that both of them were crammed in the brooms cupboard where most couples went to have 'privacy'. Being his birthday Louisa was convinced by that and made her way to the ground floor, past the Great Ha- ...wait what? She ran to the wall next to the huge double doors that opened up at the Hall and peered around very sneakily. There he was. Sitting at the house table. Alone. She. Could. Not. Believe. Her. Luck. Suppressing a victorious cheer and dance Louisa got her hiccup sweets out of her pockets - make that purposefully crunched hiccup sweets - and walked in, very innocently walking near HER house table. She went all the way to the end of the table and took a relatively near spot from him, on the opposite side, without giving him any kind of attention whatsoever. She brought the mashed potatoes dish to her and sprayed the crunched sweets over it before scooping a few and dropping it into her plate. From under the table, she got her wand out and muttered, "Locomotor plate." the tip of the wand above the table and toward Dal's plate which vibrated and flew off the table to the floor. Her chance was that he'd bend down, get it and then back up while she switched the dish of mashed potatoes that laid in front of him with hers. Easy? No way. |
Sarah all but ran to grab a seat at the Ravenclaw table. When was the last time I ate here? At the sorting? she thought to herself. "I think I should come to meals a little more regularly! I'm starving!" she said to Fallon before diving into some roast turkey and trimmings. "Ooh, biscuits!" she said as she reached into the basket in front of her before chowing down. She then noticed some of the looks the surrounding students were giving her. "Oh where are my manners!?! Sorry!" she said, brushing away the crumbs on her shirt. "Fallon, if you ever notice that I've disappeared again, please find me and make me eat something. I've never been so hungry in my life!" |
Quote:
She waved jovially at her staring classmates before realizing how empty the Great Hall was. "Oh that's right!" She gasped. "We're missing Sir Nicholas's Deathday party! We should head down there, I'm sure there's food." She teased her hungry friend, jumping up and dragging Sarah away. |
Quote:

Lame reply, sorry! D: Quote:
*snort* Oh well, it didn't really matter. He'd already seen Ellie today and had eaten a bunch of sweets to this wasn't really important. It was just to fill up his stomach, really. He reached for a few things - some bread, some mashed potatoes - to eat just as the plate in front of him started moving. He stared wide-eyed at it, scooting away... ...And it fell. On the floor. With a sigh Dallin leaned down, reached under the table and scooted the plate toward him with his fingertips. He inspected it for a moment before deciding it was too dirty to use, so he set it on the bench a little ways away from him and grabbed a new one. There. Now for the food. Bread, mashed potatoes, and chicken. A feast fit for a man. |
Nah. Our lameness match anyway. xD Quote:
Did it make sense? It better did. Quickly returning to her seat she was flushed, staring at her dish and gulping down a glass of pumpkin juice. She didn't dare to look at him. If the plan worked, she'd hear him hiccup. Fingers crossed she hadn't confused the sweets with puking pastilles - being crunched made it difficult to differentiate them. |
Oh, no it's fine. ^_^ Quote:
"UGH." He jumped back, scooting the bench back with a loud scraping sound. He watched pumpkin juice fall into the potatoes and looked up to see what the problem was. Louisa. You have got to be kidding me. Dallin threw his arms up in a 'what was that?' gesture, but didn't say anything. The girl had it out for him, and he didn't want to start another argument in some place as public as this. Although that might actually be a smart idea, considering there'd be witnesses if she hexed him... but no. He was an adult, and he was going to act like one. So he turned to the pumpkin-free potatoes and put some on his plate before taking a bite. HA, Louisa. Look at that, Dallin's mature. ...She didn't even wish him a happy birthday. |
Quote:
Yeah. That made it feel better. She didn't touch her own mashed potatoes of course but drank the rest of the pumpkin juice, stuffed her mouth with something random and got up with her book in one hand - her wand hidden inside its pages - and paused giving Dal a blank look. She was chewing on the food that she randomly ate as her eyes scanned his face. Her heart gave a slight leap and right after swallowing she spoke, "You're seventeen, now." Umm... yeah, things weren't going as planned apparently. She should shoot him a dry comment and leave already, watch her hiccup sweets making their effect on him from afar and enjoying the scene. Or not. "H-h-happy Birthday," she blurted out, cold stare and tone, and moved away as casually as possible. Once she got to the double doors, she was going to watch him from there. And that birthday wish? Louisa was getting used to her stupid tongue that worked on its own without consulting her brilliant head. That made things not only complicated but contradictory. Unless he didn't eat the potatoes. |
Text Cut: Louisa! O: Oh, so she was talking to him again? Dallin stared at her, not responding to her 'you're seventeen' comment. Because even though just seconds before he had wanted her to wish him a happy birthday... now he didn't want her to. Because he had TRIED to fix things between them, and she shouldn't - Hiccup. - She shouldn't act all casual when she had turned down his attempt at friendship. A sorry would be nice, or something. Maybe just - Hiccup. - Maybe just saying that she forgave him for not knowing what he had done to her? Sighing, he put his head in his hands in his table. Just as - Hiccup. - She told him happy birthday. He lifted his head up again just as his body wracked with another hiccup. Where had they come from all of the sudden? Dallin watched Louisa walk to the doors before turning around and gulping down the rest of his pumpkin juice in an attempt to stop hiccuping. ... Hiccup. |
Quote:
One thought was going through her mind; she was a lousy prankster. First, she felt awful. Second, that evil giggle that was supposed to come didn't. Third, she was still thinking about why he wouldn't utter a word when she talked to him. That last thought was the main theme in her head at the moment. Was he really angry about that day when she shouted at him? It was perfectly reasonable to her, the shouting part that is. Maybe because she was the shouter? B-b-but he never complained about it, it wasn't the first time she snapped or used harsh words with him. He seemed perfectly fine all the time. Why not that day, then? "I'm going crazy." Saying to no one in particular, the girl peered around to take another look at him. If anything, she was getting sick of acting like this - bothering him and 'her', ruining the good thing she had with him, and consuming much time thinking about it. Yeah, that was either crazy or being malignant, Louisa preferred the former. |
For anyone. :D William trotted down the steps of the marble staircase, making sure not to trip on the hem of his robes "Ahh my eye! NOT AGAIN!" he rubbed his eye, which began a deep pink instantly. It took a few minutes before the burning went away, but, as usual, the discoloration did not. Sighing, he decided to not touch the apple and instead took a bite out of the toast. |
Text Cut: Louiiiisa Dallin was listening for the door to close. The Hall was quiet enough at the moment that he would be able to hear it... but it didn't come. Which meant *hiccup* that Louisa had to still be in the room. Chancing a look behind him he saw that yes, she was still there. Standing against the wall just staring. What she was staring at, though, Dallin couldn't tell. *Hiccup* He turned back to the table, but suddenly his appetite was gone. He didn't think that he would be able to eat with hiccups like this anyway. So he just stood up and walked to the doors. Without looking at Louisa as he passed, he muttered, "Thank-" *hiccup* "-you," and walked out. He couldn't help himself; he just had to say something to her. But he couldn't bring himself to actually stop and say it to her face. ...He had to go find something to get rid of his hiccups. |
Scott walked into the Great Hall holding Chelsea's hand, and quickly rushed to the table, but pulling a chair out for her to sit on. He took about 5 chicken drumsticks and loads of salad. The plates were cleaner than the last time he came. He sipped some pumpkin juice and smiled at Chelsea. Hogwarts was amazing. |
Quote:
She put chicken and salad on her plate and looked over at Scott. "Someone is hungry..." she said laughing. Her owl came into the great hall and brought a Daily Prophet. Looking at the front page she saw her parents on the cover...again. Not what I want to read she thought. But she smiled when Scott smiled at her. He seems to be a bit more cheerful now than he was earlier |
Quote:
"Ignore it" he smiled "Enjoy yourself, read it later" He wondered why they had muggle food here, but grabbed some pasta as a side dish. Mmmmm. Chelsea had a lot of Owl visits, she was well informed, unlike Scott. |
Quote:
"So you seem to be in a better mood" she told him smiling. It was almost strange to see him this cheerful after how he was earlier. |
Quote:
"Well let's just say I had a realization" he smiled again. But..her parents, the letter! Oh well he'd ask her later. |
Quote:
A realization? "Really? What was it?" she asked smiling. She was glad he was in a good mood so she would just open the two letters later. |
Quote:
"That whatever I do, I have my friends and family to support me, to help me." he stopped for a moment. "And although I may be stuck in the middle of a war I didn't know existed until yesterday, I still have love" he leaned in and kissed her. |
Quote:
She smiled that was probably one of the sweetest kisses she ever received from him. "Thats true. You won't have to do this alone you have many people backing you up" she smiled. She would be there for him whenever he needed her. She opened the letter from her aunt because she probably knew what it was about. And it wasn't about her parents or anything stressful...thankfully |
Quote:
"Sorry, I shouldn't be getting you involved, it's too dangerous" he withdrew again. He saw the letter. "What's it say?" he said gently. |
Quote:
"I decided to tell my aunt that I'm with the most wonderful boy ever and she's happy" she said handing him the letter. Dear Chelsea, I knew it. I could tell from your last letter you started dating someone. I'm very happy for you and would love to meet him. By the way you have described him has made him sound like a very nice boy. I hope he is treating you right and not distracting you from your studies though...But I know you better than that so I'm just very happy for you. I know what your feeling I started dating your uncle my first year and now look at us. Love you and tell Scott I can't wait to meet him. With love, Aunt Astoria |
Quote:
He read the letter and a big smile spread across his face. "Your aunt sounds really nice, and nonjudgmental" he said quietly. "I'm really excited about meeting her!" Wow, what a nice tone in that letter. |
Quote:
She smiled "She's very nice so is my uncle and yeah their very nonjudgemental. She's also just happy to see me happy" "I'm just a bit nervous to meet your family considering the situation with my parents" Truthfully she was a bit nervous but she also believed everything would be fine. |

He thought about that Centaur in Divination, 7 house points taken away, just like that! |
trot ! trot ! trot ! Skipping and leaping towards the Great Hall, Beatrice was feeling very light. She was happy. Really, she was. It was her birthday ! And even though no one in Hogwarts had greeted her, it was fine because she received a letter from her aunt and it was worth a hundred greetings. She sat on one side of the Ravenclaw House Table and helped herself to some bacon and macaroni. She also couldn't resist the aroma of the blueberry muffins and she also took a full cup of Pumpkin Juice. She was grinning broadly but she also hoped that someone might actually greet her. |
Quote:
"This is Chelsea" he said gesturing to the girl sitting next to him. He choked a bit "My girlfriend" Good idea? Maybe not, she probably hated him. He saw how she reacted to Harvey and that was NOT good. |
Quote:
And then...Girlfriend ? Beatrice's eyes literally went O with surprise, she almost choked on her food but luckily grabbed the pumpkin juice before any vomit session. "Come again ? Your girlfriend ?" she asked, hardly believing. Merlin's beard, they were first years and they have girlfriends ? What's happening to this place ? |
Quote:
"I won't. and I won't even have to worry about it once I find that letter. I just hope I find it before trials are over" she said. She wanted her parents to stay in Azkaban. |
Quote:
Scott smiled at her, she had been a bit touchy recently so it was nice to see her happy. "Yes, girlfriend" his face dropped, she was quite judgmental. He smiled slightly, but it felt forced, he knew exactly what she was thinking. Quote:
He then stopped and thought about this. He whispered in her ear "Maybe we should continue this conversation later" he smiled, he didn't want her to go, just stop talking about her parents or Azkaban, there were people watching. |
Quote:
Her arm started throbbing "I'm going to go back to the room of requirement for a while theres a few things I want to practice and something I need to look for" she wanted to tell him what happened but not here. So if he followed her she would say something maybe she just didn't want to worry him right now since he was in such a good mood. She kissed him and got up and left. Besides that girl beezus had made Chelsea feel a bit uncomfortable with how judgmental her statement sounded. |
Quote:
He watched her as she left the room. It then dawned on him how much of a stupid name 'Beezus' was, he much preferred Beatrice, and that's why her called her that. |
