Wist looked at a firl who was standing in the hallway between the compartemnts. "Want to join us?"

"Oh, how exciting!" Clara squealed. "Ah...very cool. I've done some reading, and Charms sounds fascinating." She continued. Clara's face lit up at the mention of the Hogwarts Houses. "Gryffindor doesn't seem too shabby, but I don't think I could handle the bravery and courage all that well. So I'm personally hoping for Ravenclaw, maybe Slytherin...? Just for the ambition that I've got, I mean." Clara finally finished talking, not realizing that she probably sounded as though she was rambling.

Oh, she wasn't looking for one? Well, that was okay. Vashti was sure she could find someone to sit with her for the entire trip, though at least Louisa was willing to share it with her for a bit. "Yeah, it's just a couple compartments down," she replied, nodding. And...wow, it HAD been a few weeks since they'd talked, hadn't it? It really didn't feel like that long ago.

How did her summer end? Hmm... "It was good, for the most part." The carnival had been pretty fun, not to mention the wedding. The engagement was mostly a good thing too. But Vashti was pulled out of her thoughts by Louisa summarizing how her summer went. So she'd met two new students...who were apparently two guys named Adam and...what was that? Jwaw? But no mention of Dallin? Louisa wouldn't stop talking about him on the last train ride - though the reason for it hadn't been the most pleasant - and now there was no mention of him at all? Vashti wasn't going to ask, just in case it brought up something Louisa didn't want to talk about, but she was still rather curious.

"Well, I'm glad to hear you had a good summer," she said with a smile. "What year are your new friends going into? Fourth?" She was just assuming, of course, since Louisa was a fourth year now.

Hearing a rather loud voice, Vashti glanced down the train corridor and saw a girl who looked a few years younger - and first year apparently - and who... Was she imagining it? The girl looked a bit like her - when she was her age, of course. But...

Nah, she was probably just imagining it.

"Oh how silly of me! I'm Sarah. Sarah Bogle Fleming. I'm so excited I completely forgot my manners! And please, I have plenty to share. Enjoy!" Sarah said, handing Em some chocolate frogs. "You haven't had these before? I get them in my Christmas stockings and every once in a while from my mom and dad. Watch the frog, it could hop away if you aren't attentive!" Sarah unwrapped one, caught the frog, and popped it into her mouth. "Yum. What card did you get?" Sarah flipped her card over. "Cool, I didn't have this one before. Morgana. Sweet!"

"Yeah! We met at the Rest Area in the Fair." Amethyst nodded in agreement to what Sarah had said. She loved the people around her right now, and she hoped that they would all stay friends despite the houses.

Enya turned at the sound of a voice, directed at her? Yeah it looked like it. She couldn't believe it though. A FIRST year was talking to her, well obviously she didn't know who she was. That would change soon enough, she'd make sure of that. Enya eye'd the girl up and down thinking over what she said, did she want to join them? Well no she didn't but what else could she do?

Enya turned to look around the car again and noticed Louisa sitting across the way. HER BEST FRIEND, and she hadn't noticed her? Well fine! Sigh. "Oi Louisa" She called over to the younger girl as she began to tap her foot. Not so patiently.

After a while she turned back to the first year, name? Nope she had none. Enya crossed her arms again and watched the girl with her innocent smile and the such. Fine, why not. "Move over then" She said not so nicely before moving forward, dragging her trunk with her.

She did make a good point, there was always the downside to being famous which he had considered but in his mind; the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. "Yeah, I mean being in the public eye constantly would be rather annoying since you couldn't do much without being scrutinized. Living a normal life would be out of the question. Well, I think the real key is to remember what I was saying earlier.. they're just like everyone else, only they perform for a living." He never did see the point to the hullabaloo that people made over celebrities, it was kind of unnecessary but he wasn't going to dismiss the way people acted since there wasn't a need for it.

"Well, she's got quite the ego herself. I wouldn't go as far to say that it was astronomical but it's pretty ridiculous. I don't know how people can deal with that honestly."

Nodding his head as she spoke, he understood exactly what she was saying; it seemed like there were somethings that had gone without saying. "That really isn't good, but I think the thing is.. we never realize exactly how hard we're pushing ourselves until something bad ends up happening and then it's really not good at all."

Joseph looked at Josephine and Maxwell "you two will end up being something" he shielded himself from the hit Josephine threw at him and laughed with Danielle "I can help you with sending the phoenix"

More than one!?? Emily was dreaming. This was amazing! She opened them all up and nibbled on one, picking up all the cards.

"Sala-zar Slytherin.." she read, looking up at Sarah blankly. Before she could look at the rest, however, the other chocolate frogs had started hopping around. She sat up, her arms all over the place, grabbing air. "Oooh, no," she muttered, blushing.

All of a sudden she noticed the older girl staring at her. She leant over to Sarah, eyes fixed on the older girl, "You're from a wizarding family, right? Do you know of any.. weird sort of.. mirrors that show you what you'd look like in say.. 5 or 6 years?"

She stuck her hand in the air and waved it slowly from side to side, to see if what she thought was a reflection of her future self was actually.. well.. a reflection of her future self.

"Ok. He responds to voice commands pretty well. So it shouldn't be too hard." said Maxwell.

While she was walking around, Kurumi spotted a younger student who, well, perhaps was feeling homesick already. Slowly, she walked up to the girl. "H-Hello," she squeaked. "You doing alright?"

Kurumi frowned slightly. She hadn't meant to startle the poor girl, but it was clear that she had made her feel a little uncomfortable. "I take it this will be your first time to Hogwarts?" Kurumi asked softly. "This will be my forth year. I'm Kurumi." And she added a slight bow at the end.
Kurumi's violet eyes were locked on his hair and it's curls. Her hair was straight as an arrow, a trait that she had received from her mother, and it never really stayed curly once it had been styled. She supposed that once she had a better grip on her abilities that she would be able make her hair stay curly, but there seemed like much better things she could be doing with her abilities than for beauty.

"I like it," she said with a bright smile. Sometimes, most of the time really, she hated her hair.

Josephine grinned "Then we've got that covered"

Josephine blushed at her brother's comment, the nerve of that guy! She hit him in the shoulder "Joseph, Maxwell is my guy best friend, nothing else" she glared at her brother "You better shut up or I will hit you so hard, everyone will be able to tell us apart because of your black eye" she declared menacingly.

"Oh Slytherin. I've got probably 3 of them in my collection. Its not very common, but not uber rare. Good find!" Sarah said in between munching on candy. She was thinking about hitting the food trolley soon to restock when Em asked her about weird mirrors. "Yeah my parents are both wizards, but I have some muggle blood in me too," she said to Em. "I've heard of some trick mirrors that are meant to scare people into thinking someone slipped them an aging potion, but they don't last relatively long. Why do you ask?" said Sarah, as she leaned over to see what Em was staring at.

Maxwell blushed at both Joseph's and Josephine's comments. "Yes We're just friends!" he had never been more than "just friends." with a girl before...he was eleven, he wasn't even sure what that involved, he had never even thought about Josie, or any girl like that, now he couldn't stop and he wasn't sure how he felt about it. "I'm glad We have that part of our plan nailed down." He said with a bit of a grin.

Compartment #1:


Louisa walked beside Vashti listening to her very short answer, "You went to the Carnival?" Probably. Everybody was there, even if Louisa hadn't seen her over there. She was off with Joao playing or walking. "It's great. I've never seen or been to a magical Carnival before. And guess what?" She exclaimed jumped forward to block Vashti's way for a big announcement, "I tried the Carpet Coaster! And it was great! It felt almost like flying on a broom.. without the pain in your butt," she giggled before walking next to her friend again.

"No. They actually fifth year. Both of them. Jwaw's from Brazil originally I guess or something like that. He's so good." In flirting and whatnot and it filled some emptiness inside of her while she tried to get rid of Dallin, "Adam's from the US. He's moved around a lot and ended up here, eventually. I was just looking for him, actually. He isn't used to be in such crowded places." Louisa paused thoughtfully as they passed a bunch of firsties. When she glanced up, the girl caught Vashti's eyes flickering, "What?" Louisa followed her friend's gaze but didn't scceed in locating the scene. There were only students in front of them- that wasn't something one would have 'flickery' eyes over....right?

Compartment #2:


Louisa almost jumped when someone yelled for her and if she hadn't known better, she'd say that her best friend Enya made an appearance at last. But the girl was nowhere to be seen and that pushed this possibility away...

...or not.

Enya was getting into the compartment pushing past a small girl and glaring at Louisa. The fourth year, grinned and ignoring all the passive mood of Enya, she stood up and threw her arms around her friend's neck. "ENYA! It's been ages!" Lingering a bit while they hugged, and expecting a push, Louisa let go slowly her eyes almost teary, "My gosh! You never answered my letters. I hadn't seen you around. Not even at the Carnival! Where have you been?" Yes, her list of questions was ready.

Glancing at the small girl, Louisa smiled apologetically, "Hi. I'm sorry for this. She's just... rude to friends." Whether Enya accepted the truth or not. Louisa sat back in her seat and went back to chewing on her changing colors marshmallow, "Tell me," all of the answers of my questions.

"Well I'm new to all the magic stuff you see. It's just that.. That girl. I can't help noticing that.. I dunno." She shrugged with a defeated sort of expression and turned her attention back to the cards. "Slytherin," she said to herself, placing the card carefully onto the fold down table, then turned back to the other two packets.

"Gifford Ollerton.. Merlin.. Merlin!! I know about him! He's famous, even in the muggle world! Never knew he was actually a real person though."

She collected up her new cards and beamed. "Thanks so much for these, you can't believe how cool this is for me!"

Alice sighed and rolled her eyes, "Blame my mom.. They're a set of robes she purchased a while back thinking she'd be able to tailor them to fit.. She didn't do a very good job." Alice could tell Orchid was in a bit of pain as she tried to put weight on her ankle. "Tsk, I hope your ankle is ok! At least you can put weight on it! Good thing her compartment was right there. Alice was delighted Orchid would join her! Hmm, maybe starting over at Hogwarts won't be so bad after all. She explained to Orchid as they walked into the compartment, "Oh, the book is The Complete Guide to Pygmy Puff Breeding. You see I breed Pygmy Puffs believe it or not, and I've been trying for a while to breed a Puff that is blue, but so far it hasn't worked, so I try and keep up with all the best breeding ideas.. Of course at the same time I want them healthy and happy too" she grinned. "So what year are you at Hogwarts?

"I know! My mom said that they used to have the best pumpkin juice but really I'm looking forward to dessert the most! Both your parents went to Hogwarts right?" Rosalie was so glad that she making friends so fast.

"Oh no worries. Glad you came to Hogwarts, from what I have heard it sounds awesome," said Sarah with a slightly cautious tone. She had a feeling in her stomach, that something unusual was going on. And when she got this feeling, she was usually right about something. It wasn't strong but something was fishy. She looked down the corridor again to see if she could hone in on whatever was out of place, but she could only see excited students walking around and chatting with friends.

Josephine nodded and searched in her rucksack for her diary, when she found it she took it out with a quill and a ink-pot, she started writting "Explore the... Forbbiden... Fo...rest, the... black lake..." she kept listing all the things they would do in Hogwarts and smiled "Okay! Here I wrote everything" she looked at Maxwell's blushed face and blushed herself "Don't worry, he's just joking as the kid he is" she rolled her eyes

"Yep, I agree. I think it's just more of a case of hero worship than anything else. These people, like you said, are role models for others, whether they like it or not. But honestly, some people take it too far. Interrupting a celebrity while they're eating or talking on their phone is just being really rude." She replied, thinking that this conversation just became really interesting.

"I guess some people will put up with whatever they have to in order to make things work...or just to keep their jobs in some instances." It was actually pretty difficult to think about someone losing their job just because they couldn't meet every demand of some spoiled person.

"I agree. It's just unfortunate that it happens at all, but...hopefully you learn from it and move on. And history doesn't repeat itself." She added.

"Maybe when we get to Hogwarts I can help you with that, my mum is kind of obsessed with fashion and everything so it kind of rubs off on me." Orchid laughed. "It only hurts a bit, like when I put weight on it." She chuckled. "You breed Pygmy Puffs? Sounds cool." She said thoughtfully. "I'm gonna be a fifth year, but it's my first year. What about you?" She asked curiously as she tried to cover up her accent.

Enya was in the process of sitting down when she felt warm arms around her neck. HUGGING HER. What the...She thought before realising it was Louisa. Oh so she did hear her and wasn't ignoring her. Well. "Oh so your not ignoring me" She stated pushing the younger girl away from her. Argh, she did NOT do hugs. The push wasn't a mean one, more of a get off me this is awkward type one.

Butttt.....she was now firing questions at her. Mannnn! "Slow down!" She called holding her hands up, now she had all these questions to answer when she'd much rather sit down and GO TO SLEEP. So not going to happen.

"I never got any of your letters, I didn't see the point in going to the carnival, " Argh silly little children pushing and shoving to get to each ride. No thanks. Beside's Kathy was busy. "And...I've been at home. You know drawing" She added folding her arms reading to do the full glaring-at-your-best-friend move but she was moving away, turning to the first years.

Oh right she was suppose to be sitting with them. Um guess not. Enya turned to glare at them.

Pam giggled. "Well that was a little silly. If you're hungry you should find something to eat. Although, my mom says there will be plenty to eat when we get there." She said with a smile.

"Wow! That'd be great! I definitely have barely any fashion sense.. Which is I guess rather odd as I thought girls were kind of born with fashion sense, but not me!" Alice replied, looking as if she were slightly ashamed by it. "Ohh well thats good! Definitely don't want any injuries BEFORE we get to school! Oh yes.. Pygmy Puff breeding is actually relatively easy, but it can get out of hand VERY quickly.. They multiply like mice, so you need to be really careful, but they're so cute it's hard to NOT want them around.. Especially the babies.. Alice made sure not to ramble on too much since she was good at it. "Oh really?? Wow, same here actually! Well, going into my 5th year, but I was at Hogwarts for a short while in my first year but had to be taken out as my father is in the service and we had to move with him.. So I was home-schooled for a while.. But now I'm back!" Alice heard a trace of an accent in Orchid's voice, "Oh! May I ask where you were from originally?"
