Louisa had the pleasure of wandering around the tiny corridor of the train with no broomsticks stretching out behind her kicking people all the time. Although this was the way she met Dallin last year, but again it was a very bad coincidence and she resented everything that came out of it. Pausing for a second to shake her head out of those ideas that kept coming back to her at every possible opportunity, the girl peered into one of the compartment's window looking for any familiar face..

..anyone would do, really...

...and if it was Dallin a Ravenclaw boy, it'd be a blast.

"There are 7 years old now but we will be long gone before Jr starts Hogwarts!" Amelia told her brother.

"Oh, yeah... I was starting to have a fealing that it was out of place when I came on the train." Wist replied. "So you know another Wist? That's cool, I also know someone with that name." I am looking forward to them, but I bet there are many things different at Hogwarts than at my old school. What class is the coolest?" Wist smiled back in earnest.

"I'm fine mostly, thanks, just hurt my ankle a bit, but I'm clumsy so I'm used to it." Orchid smiled and shrugged. "And thanks, but it's got a 'weightless' charm on it so it's not to heavy. I'm Orchid Simmons, it's nice to meet you William. Why do your friends call you William Starr; Montcenaggio?" She asked curious as to what the, obviously, younger guy had to say.

Returning from the food trolley with a couple Chocolate Frogs and a small bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans in her pocket, Vashti was heading for her compartment in the middle of the train, wondering whether she'd meet any of her friends along the way or if someone might've joined her compartment while she was away. She hoped one or the other would happen - she didn't actually want to sit alone in her compartment for the entire train ride.

And then, she saw someone - Louisa, who was walking in her direction.

"Hey, Louisa," Vashti said, smiling, once she'd reached the girl. "Looking for a compartment?"

Emily ran back into her compartment after having heard the shriek. Slightly annoyed at having been dragged away from another conversation, she placed her hands on her hips.

"What in Merlin's name was that???". Everybody appeared calm, which left her with a puzzled look..

Suddenly, however, she caught sight of a girl who looked remarkably like her, only a little older. Weird! she thought to herself.

Faina groaned and stirred. But she found she was caught in something soft. She opened her eyes to find herself leaning against Jordan with a blanket wrapped around her.

"Hello," She mumbled to Jordan. She buried her head in the crook of his neck, the sunlight was blinding.

Charles had just finished saying goodbye to his parents. This was a really big deal for him because he had never had to do that before. Everywhere he had ever gone before had been with his parents, he had never been able to imagine it any other way. Now he would be heading off to Hogwarts, a castle filled with great wonders and surrounded with magic. Alone. While he missed his parents already, he also relished the opportunity to be able to discover such a place and was looking very forward to it. The problem was he was quite a shy and nervous boy so he knew making friends would be hard, he didn't really have many friends at the muggle school he went to either. He was often to polite and innocent for people to take seriously. "I might not need friends where I'm going" Charles thought to himself, "But it would be really nice if I had some". He searched around for a bit and finally found an empty compartment. Resigning himself to a long ride he settled down and stared wistfully through the window trying to imagine his new home.

"Oh I don't mind at all. Please, have a seat!" Sarah said cheerfully. She was just happy to see a student her age. "Are you a first year?" she asked, just to see if her intuition was correct. Sarah had these feelings like she knew people upon first meeting. It was weird but she didn't pay much attention to it. She was more interested in getting to know this person. "My name's Sarah. This is my first year at Hogwarts," she said to the girl.

Matt didn't mind the fact that Kourtney was rambling since it was better to say what you wanted to even if half the time it didn't make much sense "I kinda do wonder what it would like to be famous. You know, having those people really appreciate what you do and also have people say that they look up to you as a role model. I would never be in it for the money or anything like that because that could be easily gone." It appeared that was one of the many thoughts that he hadn't mentioned to people since it wasn't entirely something that he thought anyone else needed to know. "I think I would just be frustrated with having to deal with all the demands, I mean.. I do not get angry easily but if there are celebrities that you have to wait on hand and foot for then it would just be annoying." He didn't know how Raven did it, but in all honesty; he wasn't quite interested in finding out since she would probably blow it out of proportion.

"It seems like a lot of artists are that way, which as frustrating as it may be; it might be a good thing at times. We might work harder merely because we think that it's never good enough but at one point or another, the realization that things are good the way they are will happen." That had been something he realized himself over the summer since it was always an uphill battle to come up with a piece of art that was actually good.

Emily overheard the girl say she was a first year and subtly tried to side step towards the conversation, looking deliberately lost and confused.

"Ohhhh I'm so lost!" she exclaimed, "I wish I could meet some other FIRST YEARS". She was careful, however, to avoid eye contact, so as not to appear too obvious.

Emily really wanted to meet some friends soon.

Louisa's face features softened at the sight of Vashti. Great! Now she didn't have to be so ginger about wandering around alone. "Hey! Umm.. I wasn't, no. Is yours nearby?" The girl glanced around as if her friend's compartment had a special flag on the door. "I can sit with you for a bit. We haven't talked in weeks." Smiling genuinely at Vashti, Louisa moved slightly to the side to follow the girl.

After a few moments of silence, Louisa started, "How did your summer end?" Since they both met at the middle and chatted so it would only be natural to see how things were for Vashti after Kitty's burial. Louisa looked at her friend and summaried her own summer, "Mine was good. Got to meet two new students and did a shopping tour to Adam, that's the first one, and spent some time at the Carnival with Jwaw, that's the second one." Jwaw was pronounced poorly due to the girl's lack of Portuguese but luckily Vashti wouldn't get confused over that.. would she?

Oh and defenitely hiding the disaster with Dallin and Ellie. It was over, even if a cold war was due.

"yeah i have heard stories about the feast" she said with a smile she was really looking forward to that part "im gona eat sooo much" she said simply the laughed a little

Kourt fell silent for a few moments as Matt spoke of what he thought it must like being a famous person. “That’s true…but I think it gets to be a lot on a person. Especially when they’re recognized and public and all…people wanting autographs and pictures. I can’t say I’ve ever met a famous person, so I don’t know how I’d react, but I hope I’d manage to have some semblance of respect.”

She thought over her words and shook her head slightly, her curls bouncing. “Yeah, depends on who you work with, I guess. Some celebrities egos are just astronomical and they look down on people…I feel kinda bad if your cousin has to go through with that.”

Crossing her legs, as she still had her jeans on, Kourtney continued to flip through the book, nearing the end. “I think you’re right. Push, push, push until you reach the point of exhaustion. I’ve seen my mum go through it, but it’s never good when she injures herself because of it.”

Sarah heard the girl's loud hint and giggled to herself. At least she wasn't the only one feeling the "first year awkwardness." "Oy, over here!" Sarah said, waving at the girl. "The more the merrier!" Sarah was happy because she was finally getting to meet new people that could possibly be her best friends for the next 7 years!

"Well, He can send Helios if We end up needing Him. Would Dani know anything about the Gillyweed or an alternative?" Maxwell said still mischievous as ever.

Emily jumped and walked over right away, dispelling what she thought was an air of mystery.

"Emily Charlotte Hiett," she announced, holding her hand out, "but since you are a first year and we shall probably be spending lots of time together, you may call me Em." Suddenly she realised that what she had just said made it obvious she had been eavesdropping on the conversation.

"Er, well, that is to say, I'm just guessing that you're a first year. You are.. right?"

Presley noticed Philip walking back and forth, he had passed her compartment several times, looking for his girlfriend? Whatever the reason, she didn't want him to be lonely. She stood up, and stuck her head out. "Hey, Philip!" she smiled brightly. "I haven't seen you since..." she wracked her mind for the last time she had seen him. Briefly at "the carnival! How are you doing?"

Enya looked left and right as she stepped into the middle cart of the train. She was STILL looking for a seat, actually she wouldn't mind finding Louisa or even Skye for the matter. She needed to talk to them, she actually couldn't remember the last time she talked to her best friends.

How suckish was that?

Anyway, here she was standing in the middle of the walkway. He trunk behind her just sat there, a frown on her face and SHE STILL COULD NOT FIND A SEAT.

Argh. It was going to be a long journey she just knew it.

Josephine looked at Danielle, who was chatting with her brother "I think she might know, she's a pureblood and her parents have been in Hogwarts" she smiled

Sarah smirked. "Yes, this is my first year. I'm really excited. Want a chocolate frog?" Sarah said to Em, reaching into her pocket. Sarah was glad she brought some candy with her from Diagon Alley. Sarah's parents didn't do much for her, but they taught her that being nice to people usually meant people would be nice to her.

The cogs were turning in Maxwell's head..."Hmmm sounds like it might work...Do You think that She'll help Us?" Maxwell said hoping their plan was coming together.

Emily beamed at the thought of the chocolate frogs. "I've heard all about these!" she squeeled, "Only if you don't mind.. I'd love one. I tried to buy some earlier but got told off for pushing in. That's really very kind of you.."

This train ride was really the best of her life. The muggle world seemed so boring now that she was surrounded by witches and wizards.

"Sorry," she said, "I don't think I caught your name.."
