Samara smiled as Aslan sprung from the bag into her lap curling up. "Sly hmm? He looks like fun. He's a cute one." She leaned forward taking one of the chocolate frogs nodding a thank you as she nibbled it. "I'm a third year. I just tend to keep a low profile I suppose."

Gideon fought the urge to raise a curious eyebrow at her choice of words but his face remained neutral in the end. Hmm Distraction...from what would be interesting to know but he wasn't about to push at least at this point in time. Then he wouldn't himself be a distraction now would he?

" I guess I can offer that," he mused with a shrug. As she walked further into the compartment, he straightened up a little in his seat so his legs werent all stretched out and she could sit accross from him.

Annabeth smiled, "Pleased to meet you Harvey," she said sitting down, she placed her book away and spoke again, "Oh, non-magical, yes I think that we are from the muggle community, but are muggle-borns. My parents died, well my mum did, my dad was out one day somewhere and never came home so I live with my uncle, how about you?" she asked,

Mj took a seat with her sister. "Rose!" She hissed. "I don't know any one!! What if I don't make any friends? Do you know any first years in Ravenclaw? Any you know have a sibling my age?"

Mj sat playing with her beaded bracelet. On the outside, she seemed quite haughty and confident, but if you looked carefully, you could see the cracks.

"Oh I am soo sorry to hear that. I live with my parents, brother Harley and sister Emma, both will hopefully be coming to Hogwarts in the coming year. Harley is 7 years younger than me and Emma is younger than Harley" Wow it didnt feel so awkward talking to someone new, he doesn't know what he was so worried about.

Annabeth looked around from Harvey and saw a girl talking to what looked like her sister, "Urm, hello, I'm Annabeth Kane, Are you a first year? I am.

"Hi Annabeth; I'm Mj. Yes, I'm First Year too. I'm so excited!! What are looking forward to the most about Hogwarts? I can't wait to see the enchanted ceiling in the Great Hall! Oh, this is my sister, Rose. She's Third Year."

Katrina opened the compartment door where a few student were chatting.
"Excuse me but may I come in?" Katrina asked the girls.
Katrina hoped her friend, Beatrice, would come.

"That sounds great, I wish I had a family like that, they sound like lovely siblings," Annabeth said to him.

Annabeth smiled, "Nice to meet you Mj. I can't wait to see the whole place, it sounds amazing!"

"They are" says Harvey to Annabeth's comment

"Nice to meet you MJ, I'm Harvey by the way. Ravenclaw first year"

Annabeth smiled, she wished that she had a family that Harvey's, but she didn't, she only had her Uncle, "I'm glad," she told him, she really was.

"Do you have cousins at your uncle's place?" Harvey asked hesitantly, hoping that he doesn't go where he shouldn't, he wouldn't want to upset someone on his first day.

Josephine went to the middle of the train with her friends and family, when they were all sitting she started introducing them "Okay guys, this is my twin brother Joseph, this is Maxwell, they are Gryffindors like myself" she pointed at the two boys "This is Danielle, my childhood best friend, this is Chris, this are Fiona and Rosalind, they are Ravenclaws" she gestured at the girls and boy "This will be an enjoyable ride! Won't it?"

Destiny chuckled as she watched Aslan jump from the bag and onto Samara's lap. Pfft, she wished Sly would do something CUTE like that. The only time he did something cute was.. well, never. He was too lazy. "Thanks. But he is so lazy! You could put a rat in front of him, and he wouldn't even wake up."

Although, that was a good thing. She didn't think her pet rat, Marcus, would appreciate being eaten by a cat.

Merlin! She really needed to pay more attention to the people in the castle. There were probably so many other people who she didn't know that liked chocolate! She was going to have to go out and find them all now. Maybe they could start a chocolate club. "It's easy to keep a low profile in Hogwarts." She supposed. The castle was HUGE.

Picking a chocolate frog from her bag, Destiny began to open it, and seeing that she already had that chocolate frog card, she had alot after all, she tossed it onto her trunk. "Are you excited to go back!?"

Destiny was. She was a seventh year!

This is sooo hard ! Beatrice was dragging her trunk and holding her owl's cage on the other. Her trunk was light but what made it a very difficult job was her owl, Jordin .. He was biting her fingers ! Obviously, he was not so happy with Beezus forgetting his snack delights..

"Really Jordin?" she moaned. It was getting better and better, irony it is ..
All the compartments she had passed were already full so she needed to search for a spacious one ..
At last, after what was likely a century .. She came across a compartment with only a few girls .. and one of them was, "Katrina ! "

"Nope, just me and my Uncle," Annabeth said, "I'm not really that bothered, but it would have been nice to have company." she told him.

"Thanks, you really are a life saver," she said with an earnest expression on her face. Kurumi glanced over her shoulder just to see if anyone else she knew was walking around outside.

As she took a seat, she noticed that Gideon was giving her a somewhat confused look. He probably didn't want to or need to know her personal problems at the moment, nor did she really want to force them on him. Some lighthearted conversation would be most appreciated and welcomed.

Kurumi leaned her elbow on the armrest of the seat and ran her fingers through her hair. She really wasn't really sure what all to say at the moment, but a random thought appeared in her head and it came out before she could use her filtering system.

"So, Gideon...how do you get your hair to be so curly?"

"Yes I know what you mean" Harvey says "Well now that you are coming to Hogwarts and we will all be like one big family, just what you need" Harvey hopes to take Annabeth's mind off not having any cousins or siblings her age.

Annabeth smiled, "yes your right!" she said, maybe being friend with Harvey would be nice for her, he was really making her feel a lot happier about her life.

Samara laughed a little looking over at Sly as he barely stirred. "Well at least you always know where to find him." She grinned finishing the chocolate frog tucking the card away in her bag before nodding at the question. "Mhmm. I'm quite excited about going back. I miss the common room and the sooner I'm back the sooner I get to see my owl. I brought his cage but I let him fly. He's been cooped up long enough over the break."

She rubbed behind one of Aslan's ears as he purred a little looking up with a smile. "Are you excited to be back?"

Harvey smiled at Annabeth , it felt good to cheer someone up. He was happy that he had made a friend like Annabeth, and on his first day too!! He was surprised at himself he had never been this comfortable with meeting new people like this before. He hoped that this friendship would last and he hoped that he would not do anything that would ruin this friendship

Claudia said her good-byes and entered the train. Nervously, she looked around. It was busy and packed with people. She looked around at all the new faces, wondering. She looked to all the pets and books and felt extremely excited.She looked to make eye-contact with someone in a compartment and be offered a seat she was too shy to ask for herself.

"Hey, Lana." Sarah grinned at the new girl, "Sit down, please. There should be room for everyone!"

"You ran?" Sarah laughed, "Did you have fun?" she grinned at the winded girl, "I'm not hungry yet, is anyone else?"

Ella gave her parents big hugs and leapt onto the train. This whole experience was so overwhelming and it was only just the beginning. Not knowing anyone made her really nervous. She looked around and it looked as though there was someone in every compartment. Not wanting to ask anyone if she could join them, she waited for someone to approach her first.

Amethyst smiled softly as she began to catch her breath, but of course, she wasn't sweating. She nodded to Sarah, who wasn't hungry. She wasn't either, just offering to those who were so nervous that they didn't eat. She shook the extended hand of Lana and smiled. Her grip was firm, and for some reason, Amethyst purred.

Onyx hooted at Amethyst, which brought her back to reality. She was on a train, going to a school for witches and wizards, and she was going it will the girls before her: Sarah, Jamey, and Lana. She smiled softly realizing she'd not introduced herself to Lana and maybe Jamey.

"Hello everyone," She started. "I'm Amethyst Geleto, and I'm a first year! How about you guys?" Of course she knew Sarah's, but it wouldn't hurt to be refreshed.
