Chad Luthien Stryker Date of Birth: November 18, 2035 Age: 40 Place of Birth: Paris, France Current place of residence (when not at school): London, England Spoken languages: French is his first language, English is his second. He believes in always being optimistic and if anything gets in his way, then he just becomes that much more determined to get it. He’s very outgoing, loves to meet new people, and absolutely loves having fun. Also, he tends to be very relaxed in any situation and isn’t afraid of a challenge. It usually takes a very epic occurrence in order to anger Chad in anyway. Lastly, he’s always got the time to accommodate others, no matter how full his schedule may be. Background/History: Chad is the only son of a muggle mother and pureblood father. Both of his parents were born in England, but they moved to France for business reasons. Chad was born and raised in France. When he turned nine, they moved back to England and Chad had to learn English. They found that he, to this day still, has some trouble learning and speaking English, but isn’t too bad. Despite his language handicap, Chad managed to get through Hogwarts with excellent grades, excelling in Care of Magical Creatures. He absolutely loved being around and working with animals. After graduation, he went back to France and got a job with the French Ministry in their creatures department. He worked there for six years before moving back to England. He then moved back to England and worked in various pet shops for at least five years before he obtained another job at the England Ministry as a Liaison for, at that time, Minister Cooper. He held that position for seven years before being promoted by Minister Reagan Taylor to Department Head of Magical Creatures. For reasons unknown, he abandoned that job a few years later and went back to France. It was only when he heard that Hogwarts needed a new Groundskeeper that he, once again, returned to England to take up the position. ■■ history Kurumi was born to a muggle mother and a pure-blood father, making her half and half. Her mother, Yukie Someya, is Japanese and her father, Charles Hollingberry, is British. Her parents met when her father was on a research and ambassador mission for the Ministry to meet with representatives of the Japanese Ministry. He met Yukie while sightseeing, and kept the fact that he was a wizard from her until he had to return to England for a short period of time. He eventually transferred to Japan and married Yukie who bore him 4 children: Ryunosuke, Takashi, Junichiro, and Kurumi. Kurumi, being the youngest and the only girl, grew up doing everything her brothers did including intensive kendo training as her mother’s family owns a dojo. Because her family lived in a small town with very few non-Japanese, Kurumi and her brothers were always severely bullied for being “half breeds” – meaning only having half Japanese blood. It is due to these unfortunate circumstances that her parents decided to keep their magical abilities a secret until an owl arrived from Hogwarts. Kurumi, who took the most severe bullying, was told her siblings had to study abroad in England and that they would explain why to her when she was older. It was not until she received her first letter not two weeks before the start of the term did she know that an entirely different world awaited her.■■ hogwarts a history: year one Kurumi spent a good portion of her first year studying and studying and studying to catch up with everyone. She got full marks on all her exams and was the top point receiver for her house and the school with 619 points. On a social front, Kurumi made many friends and there was much drama between her best friend and now current boyfriend, Adam Burn, and Slytherin, Katie Star.■■ hogwarts a history: year two During her second term, Kurumi spent hours in the library with newfound Ravenclaw friend, Eino. Kurumi and Adam's relationship continued to blossom, until Adam's parents made the decision to pull him from Hogwarts and move to Mexico at the end of the term. This terrible news, along with discovering that her father isn't who he says he is, AND the appearance of Mr Ikenna, Kurumi's confidence and mind went into overload. She was invited to Lord Borr's party in Diagon Alley where he took a liking to her because of her cookies. She was once again the top point earner in Gryffindor house as well as the entire school (761 points), but none of that seemed to matter as her and Adam ended their relationship knowing that they may never see one another again.■■ hogwarts a history: year three Facing her third year with a hole in her heart that she thought would never be filled - a hole made from the absence of Adam - Kurumi returned to Hogwarts with a sense of uncertainty. She continued her research in the library about her family, and these sessions brought her closer to Treyen Lockhart. Kurumi's feelings for the Hufflepuff grew and she eventually confessed to him, but not before she found an Aparecium article surfaced revealing that Treyen was already in a 'sort of' relationship with someone else. While the two were giving each other some space, a Polyjuice assignment where Sierra and Kurumi were partners took a turn for the worse and ended in Treyen never wanting to see Kurumi again - although the one who made him feel that way was Sierra Polyjuiced as Kurumi. Due to their profession the family moved a lot, causing Adam to attend a couple of magic schools throughout the states. Adam is an only child, and due to his parents busy and hectic schedules Adam spent most of his childhood fending for himself. Due to his parents' strict mentality on everything, as well as their need to remain in the status quo, Adam has kept his wizard status to himself, telling his parents that he is attending a prestigious all boys academy. Since his parents are busy with their jobs, they don't go prying, but Adam knows once he is done with the "muggle schooling" he is telling them that he is attending, they will be expecting him to attend a prestigious university like Harvard or Yale. Adam figures when that time comes he will most likely have to tell his parents the truth, and will probably be kicked out of his home. Therefore, Adam is doing everything he can now to set himself up for a somewhat stable place of his own that he can live once he graduates from Hogwarts. Personality Adam is quiet, lacking an outgoing personality which probably comes from him being a loner most of his life. His tall and muscular build combined with somewhat scruffy features makes Adam seem intimidating at first glance, but once you get to know him you'll see he's actually a really nice guy. Adam is rubbish when it comes to girls, having attended an all boys magic school for the longest period of time, but he's hoping that that will change. Personality What is most noticeable about Ariadne is her intelligence and her inquisitiveness. Her biggest fear is failure; she is very ambitious and a perfectionist. Ari also has a spirit for justice, but that doesn't stop her from mischief every now and then. Besides determination, the girl has also got lots of courage and is independent. Ariadne doesn't strike you as a very friendly person, but she is likeable and compassionate. Sometimes sarcastic, but rarely truly funny, she appreciates people who make her laugh. The girl likes company, but isn't bothered by solitude either. As an only child raised by a rather busy single parent, she learned to do many things on her own. However, she is very loyal to her friends and would do anything for them. Ariadne loves reading and is very passionate about history, both magical and Muggle. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and swimming. She can sometimes be quite a chatterbox, especially when she's nervous. On the outside at least, she always seems very calm and composed. Outbursts of either joy or fury are very rare in her case. First year at Hogwarts While Ari’s first year at Hogwarts has been eventful and interesting, probably the best thing to come out of it was that the girl had made lots of friends, despite being only remotely sociable to begin with. This, in turn, made her more communicative and less secretive; she even got used to telling people about her family drama, a taboo-subject until that year. The girl had shown independence in thinking from the very start: at the Sorting ceremony, she convinced the Sorting Hat, which was hesitating between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, to sort her into the latter, because she wanted to be different from her family, who have been in Ravenclaw for generations. She did reasonably well in classes, except for Astronomy, which confuses her, and Flying, because she doesn’t trust any object to keep her up in the air, regardless of how many charms and spells have been used on it, which came as a surprise, given that Ari’s mother had been Quidditch captain in her days at Hogwarts. But for Ariadne this wasn’t enough. As a perfectionist, she took it as a personal defeat that Gryffindor had been beaten by Slytherin in the competition for the House Cup, along with the deception of not making it to the Top 5 Gryffindor students. During her first year, the girl figured out what she would like to do in life: become a wandmaker. Though it seems premature to think of a career, Ari had always been one to keep to the same ideas for a long time, and she started to plan ahead in order to achieve her goal. Ariadne had also done some research on her family tree and discovered new information, including the shocking truth that marriages in her family had been arranged in most cases, and usually between fellow Ravenclaws, up until her grandparents’ generation. Also, the girl had developed a strong desire to meet her father and question him about his motives. This coincided with the news that her mother was dating again, after so many years. Ari was happy for her for finally having a boyfriend, but at the same time wondered what it would be to have her dad around. Ari’s favourite part of her first year at Hogwarts was the Potions final, where she got to use the Polyjuice Potion and step into her friend Jory’s shoes for an hour, literally. She also enjoyed star-gazing in the Astronomy Tower with her friend Melina, teasing Mordred about Hug a Slytherin Day ,her adventures with Gwendolyn, and chatting with many other students. |

HISTORY Emily led a very average life in middle-class, surburban London. Obviously, she showed traits at an early age that she was magical, but her parents were quite relaxed about it since their older son, Frankie, had also become a wizard. She was a bright student at muggle primary school, but often got into trouble for blowing things up, or for strange occurences that could not be explained (magic, obviously). For this reason, there were times when she felt singled out and disliked by the teachers. Her parents were incredibly supportive, however, so she was not too badly affected. Her brother was badly bullied at Hogwarts for being muggleborn. So he warned her to ignore these kinds of insults, but has worried since the Summer about her ability to fit in. Emily is not so concerned, however, and is just excited to be around her own kind, finally. During school, Emily got on well with her classmates and enjoyed horse riding and swimming. PERSONALITY Emily is incredibly chatty and not very aware of her surroundings, which often gets her in trouble. She often acts before she thinks, but always means well. She will chat to anyone, and is fiercely loyal. Sometimes she talks too much, and does not catch on to hints. That said, she won't take it personally if someone tells her to shut up.
