The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.

Minerva walked into the feast. End of term already. She walked quietly and sat down at her table. Looking around at everything. She was going to miss this beautiful hall this summer.

"Hi Minnie. I can't believe that it's already the End of term feast. Do you mind if I join you? I definitely want to be with friends right now. I'm going to miss some of the 7th years especially Kita." Alyssa tried to smile and hold back the rears that were threatening to flow.

Amethyst was wearing her robes, for the possible final time this term. She hand a box of tissues, knowing tears would flow. Most of which would be her own. She spotted to 'Puffs there at the table already. Gasp! Minerva and Alyssa--her two of three, maybe four, best female friends. She smiled and sat across from them. She set the tissue box out in the center of the table. "Hello girls," She said softly. "I hope all is well! Gosh..the first term went so fast!" She giggled nodding.

Minner smiled at her two girlfriends. "Of course you can join me. I don't want to end term alone." She smiled. "I can't believe term is ending either. I am so happy to be going home, but sad to be leaving."

End of term feast. Janice remembered when she first when there, almost 2 years ago. She put on the Sorting Hat, which landed her on this table with such nice people. It's only the matter of time until she will be in her seventh and final year, and by then she will be of age. Meaning not being a small girl anymore. She will grow up, and that scared her.

"Hey," she said to the people in the table. "Mind if I sit here?" There wasn't a lot of people there, so she reckons that it's okay.

"Sure you can sit with us." Minerva said and smiled.

Nope. Amy wasn't happy about this. It was the end of term feast, and she couldn't live with the idea that in a few days she'd be at home, putting up with an adopted sister and two baby siblings. Good lord. Though, she smiled to herself, she was glad that she'd finished her exams, as hard as they were she'd tried her best. She wasn't sure if she'd done amazing, but she reckoned she'd done well enough to carry on with everything she wanted to do for NEWTs.

Walking into great hall, the brunette sat down at the table, chin in arms as she waited for Sammy, or Everett, because she had still to apologise, or Jack. Her boyfriend. Cruel possibly, but she wondered if their relationship would last longer than the holidays and frankly, she was doubtful

Kita Aaron Nessie Penny come join us when you can.
 

"Hi Amethyst. Sure come and join us. The more the merrier."



"I feel the same way too. I can't believe that a whole term has already passed. I'm going to miss this place and all of you guys."



"Janice, sure come join us. Like I told Amethyst. The more the merrier. You ladies know each other right? I wonder whether Kita, Aaron, Nessie and Penny are going to join us. What about Jodi?" Alyssa asked Amethyst.

After saying goodbye to his fellow lions and to the snakes there were a few other stops Carter had to make.

And one of those stops was to Kita. They'd met many years ago... but they'd become particularly close lately. Especially after Caroline. She'd been there when he needed someone to talk to. Or just... someone to be there.

"Hey Captain." he said quietly greeting her with a little nod.

Ronnie saw Minnie heading for the Hufflepuff table, and she dashed over to her and hugged her tightly. "Hey buddy!" she said. She was going to miss Minnie, terribly. She was like a sister to her. She was such an amazing friend, always there for you when you needed her most.

Minerva smiled. "Hey pumpkin" She smiled and gave Ronnie a hug. "You know you can come travel to my competitions if you would like then I won't have to miss you so much."

Ronnie smiled. "I'd love to! It sounds wicked!" she said excitedly. "I hate the fact that I have to be away from all of my friends." she said frowning. "With my brother's wedding and everything, it'll be quite a busy summer!" she said with a laugh. "Oh, you're totally welcome to come to the wedding if you'd like. I don't know the exact date, but I'll send an owl to you when I know for sure." she said smiling warmly.

Minnie smiled. "That will be fun. Yes let me know and if I can get away I will. I am going to miss you. Make sure to keep Harvs in line." Minerva giggled.

Kita blinked up at the boy now talking to her. Sure, it took her quite a while to realise that the 'Captain' was in reference to her but... she had an excuse. She wasn't Captain at the beginning of the term was she? So technically, she had less time to adjust than all the others.

... She really needed food right now.

Kita's lips stretched into a smile. "Why hai, Captain Phillips," she said, "And to what do i owe this pleasure?" Really? That was too formal!

"You will keep in touch please. Come to some of my competitions if you want and hopefully I can come to Salem. Aaron coming to visit you?"

Alyssa smiled when she saw Kita sit down at their house table. 'Where is Aaron,' Alyssa thought to herself. She made it a point to go look for him right after she was done saying goodbye to Kita, which was going to be a hard thing to do without crying again. "I'll be back, guys. Don't let anyone sit here." she told the others before running over to speak with Kita. But then she noticed Carter, the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain approach her, so not wanting to interrupt, she hung back and waited for them to be done.

" I hope you don't mind if I join you ladies. " said Justin as he walked up to the Hufflepuff table.

"Not at all bud." Minerva smiled and made room for Justin so he could sit with Ame.

Carter chuckled. The laughs nearly caused him to once again lose track of certain things forming in his eyes. Merlin... if someone chose to make fun of him he'd never hear the end of it.

Not after today.

He said goodbye to a freaking armchair. And not even a good armchair!

"I'm here to give you a hug and to tell you goodbye." he said. There was no point in buttering that up.

Minerva smiled as she came back from visiting. She sat down next to Alyssa, Justin, Ame when Alyssa got up. "No problem chicka no one will take your place." She smiled. Then looked at Justin and Ame so whats the news love birds." She smiled jokingly at her friends. Glancing over to the claw table and then turning back to Justin and Ame.

Ronnie had made it to the end of the term. She was glad to be done for the term and wasn't even sure if she wanted to come back next term. She was tired and ready to be home. Well maybe not since her father had died she didn't want to be alone with her step dad all summer that would kill her.

She hoped that Simon would take her on tour of the summer. They had talked about it at least.

Ronnie sighed and sat down at the table next to some one she didn't know.

"Hey Ronnie, how are you doing?" Minerva asked she wasn't sure if Ronnie even remembered her since they talked way back at the beginning of term. She looked around at everyone in their conversation and then glanced back at Ravenclaw. She hoped someone would come talk to her at her table, but then she shook her head from that thought. Turning back to Ronnie giving Ronnie her full attention.

Furmgoat was a busy owl, sending all these letters and packages to the the the students at the big castle. The tawny owl flew into the great hall, swooping under the enchanted ceiling as his beady owl eyes searched for his girl person.

There she was!

"Ho." Furmy landed on the table beside Amy, coming dangerously close to knocking around all the empty bowls and plates. He waited for the package to be removed before flapping his wings and flying back out of the great hall.

Harvey walked over to the puff table all the while his eyes on a particular friend of his. He saw many others Justin was there too with Ame. He went and stood behind Minnie and put his hands on her shoulder "Hey Justin, Hey Ame. How are the both of you?" he asked smiling at both of them, before looking down at Minnie "Hey Mins" he greeted her smiling and looking at her "Do you mind if I join you here for a bit?" he asked. He thought it better to ask rather than plonk himself next to her. This was sad for him, after this Minnie would only be contactable by owl. But he wouldnt be able to hang out with her. Oh! he could NOT wait for September to come fast enough.

Minnie smiled "Yes of course, where is Ronnie? Oh but please sit over here" Minerva pointed across from her. "I told Alyssa I would save her seat here." Minerva didn't want Alyssa to think she just gave her seat away. She smiled at Harvey glad he came over to visit.

Harvey beamed as she said yes. "Sure no problem" he said as he took the seat across from her and looked at her and smiled before he remembered she asked him about Ronnie "Oh she is sitting over at the claw table. I asked her to come but she said that she wanted to stay over there, maybe she will come over soon, if not I will go get her." he said adding the last two sentences so that Minnie would not think that he had abandoned Ronnie over at his table. He smiled he was glad he came over, he wanted to be with Minnie without Ronnie being there for a little while. Should he ask her the question he wanted to ask her before she left. Might as well, there will be no better time. He leaned forward towards Minnie and asked in a low voice "Would you sit in the same compartment as me, oh and Ronnie, she will be there as well." he leaned back and looked around to make sure that no-one saw or heard them/

Alyssa came running back to where her friends were sitting. "Thanks for saving my seat. Kita was busy, so I guess I'll say my goodbyes later. Hi Harvey, how's it going? Oh yeah before I forget, I was going to ask you guys whether you would like to share a compartment with me, thas if you don't already have plans. If you do, that's okay, I'll go ask someone else."

Alysssa silently hoped that they didn't, because if they did she definitely didn't want to butt in. She sighed. At the rate, things were going, it looked like she was going to be sitting in a compartment with kids who weren't her friends. She was still looking to see whether Aaron would show up for the feast. Knowing him, if he did, he'd do it with a bang, like he did at the celebration party. Alyssa smiled at the memory. She was hoping that he'd show up so that she could ask whether she could share a compartment with him, but for now it looked like she was going home alone.

Then she noticed that Justin had joined their group. "Hi Justin,"she smiled over at him and Amethyst. 'They do look good together' Alyssa thought to herself.

Just as Harvey had finished asking Minnie to join him Alyssa sat down next to her and asked HIM the same question "Ok. Fine then it is settled, that is if Minnie agrees. Me, Minnie, Alyssa you and Ronnie will be sharing a compartment together. Oh! that reminds me. Alyssa, there was something that you were supposed to tell us, that is if you would like to tell us. Something happened in the celebration tent?? Minnie said something about that, but waited for you to spill. Or you can tell us on the train when we are in the compartment together." he said, as he saw her looking around "Are you waiting for someone?" he asked wondering why she was looking around. Possibly looking for another Puff friend since they were all housemates they were probably close with each other.

"Thanks," she said, slipping into the empty seat. She helped herself with some food and a glass of pumpkin juice. She looked up to the staff table. Then, she noticed that she's sitting at the exactly same spot in the Opening Feast in her first year. Boy, memories are just so hard to release.

"Of course!" Janice exclaimed. "It would be fun, sitting together!"

"Of course I want to sit with all of you. Ame and Justin you are going to sit with us as well, right? " Minerva wondered if Alyssa would be sitting with Aaron, would he want to sit with their group.. HMMM...

Harvey beamed as hard as he could when Minnie said that she would sit with them "Ok fine. So Minnie it will be you, me, Ronnie, Alyssa" he said looking at Alyssa "And if the two lovebirds, Justin and Ame agree to join us they to will sit with us. So that is 5 people in our compartment. Well there we go all done! We will all take a compartment together." he said smiling. He was so happy that he would end his one year the way he started it, with Minnie.. the only difference was there were more people joining them as well. But mainly his best friend was there with him, he couldnt be more happier to have ALL his friends with him as they completed the journey home. "Oh we could squeeze in a couple of more people if anyone wants to bring someone" he added looking at Minnie. He said this just in case someone wanted someone else to join, the only person that came to mind was that Slytherin boy that Minnie had met. If she wanted him to join, he guessed he would be fine with it but was not too sure.

Minerva smiled "Don't forget Janice" she looked at Janice, "You are welcome to sit with us as well. This is Harvey by the way." She wasn't sure if they ever met or not. Minerva kind of giggled thinking about if anyone wants to bring someone to sit with them, thinking of Aaron and Alyssa. She still hadn't told the group and Minerva was getting to the point of wanting to tell.

Harvey smiled when Minnie mentioned a girl she knew called Janice "Sure and Janice is welcome too. Hi Janice, nice to meet you. As Minnie said my name is Harvey." he said introducing himself, well that was one more to add, so er..... about 7 people now he counted. Well more would be welcome, but he hoped not too many or they would be like sardines in a tin can, all bunched up together. Unless they sat on each other's laps, ok for the couples, but the single ones may feel uncomfortable seeing this so he shook it out of his mind. Each one to his/her own seat.

"Hey," Janice said to Harvey. "Janice. Nice to meet you.' She stretched out her hand to shake his. Alyssa might invite Aaron too, since Janice thinks that she likes him. But Aaron is 3 years older than them. The thought of that still bothers her. Yeah.

Harvey smiled and shook Janice's hand "Hi Janice. Harvey, Nice to meet you too. So 1 more person added to the list, anymore?" he asked looking around at all his friends. He then realised that some might not be here to ask so he added "Its ok, if there anymore that want to join us, just bring them along and see if there is space in the compartment" he said smiling. Well this group of friends was getting bigger, ah it didnt bother him. He wanted the main few people to sit with him, he then looked at Minnie. He was glad she had agreed to join him.

"Maybe Penny," Janice answered. "I haven't seen her these days. Where is she?" She asked the table. They probably know, especially Alyssa who had been really close with her.

Harvey suddenly realised that Janice was right. Where WAS Penny these days, he hadnt seen her either. Was she ok? "Yeah where is she? I havent seen her either." he said looking at the other Puffs on the table

*sniffles*
 

Rolling her eyes at the tables that held sob fests, Louisa made her way to the one and only person she was terribly sad to see leaving. Her mind did focus on the fact that Kita was only graduating Hogwarts and not the whole world but those memories of the older girl squishing her, bouncing on her, and sometimes even sending her to the ground with excited greetings- those memories were killers and Louisa had put them in the back of her mind all term long.

"Kita!" She exclaimed spotting the... oh, no. Was she meditating? She was so solemn and not crazy. That was.. odd. "Are you okay?" She scooted next to the graduate cool, eh? friend. Louisa's face was so concerned, one tear and her own could go off.

Cloning! *wibbles* LMAO at Carter saying goodbye to an armchair! xD
 

And... now someone was smiling at her. The girl's smile was enough to tell Kita who it was. It was the girl she had met about a year ago. And she had gotten super duper close to this girl!

Wibble wibble wibble...

The seventh year took to her feet and ran down the table towards the girl she counted as her younger sister. She didn't care that the girl was now surrounded by her friends. It didn't matter now.

Reaching the girl, Kita bent down and wrapped her arms around the young girl, giving her a big Kita-like squeeze. "I'm going to miss you Lyssie," she whispered as the tears started flowing down her face. She was going to hug the life out of Lyssie now.



Kita smiled at Carter's chuckle. But... wait... was there something in his eye? Kita blinked up, slightly confused. If he had glass in his eye, surely he'd realise it by now? Even Captain Oblivious would know.

Unless...

Okay, he wanted to hug her. Now she could forget about the eye and the weird thing forming there. "That's sweet! Come here then," she said, holding out her hands. She would give the boy a big fat squeeze. They had known each other for... two years? Three years? Four? Merlin!



Kita blinked. She could hear her name. Someone was approaching her and they had said her name in a very excited voice. Hm... Who was excited to see her?

The brunette looked towards her side as a girl sat down next to her.

SFJKSHAGSKJDF! "LOUISA!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around the girl and giving her a squeeze. Okay, this was her last term and she was now graduating... so why hadn't she seen a lot of Louisa this past term? Okay, she was seeing the girl now so it didn't really matter.

And for was she okay... "I... would you judge me if i said that i wasn't?" she whispered. A tear rolled down her cheek as she looked down at her nails. The two had met about four years ago and now... she wasn't going to be able to squeeze the life out of Louisa around Hogwarts.

Ronnie looked at the girl. She seemed familiar to her, but she couldn't really remember her name. She sighed and turned toward the girl. "I've been better to be honest." Ronnie said, she couldn't help but be depressed all the time. And she was so tired of trying to hide it. "How have you been?"

She asked the girl, hoping that her name would come to her before she looked like a complete fool talking to her.

Alyssa blushed when Harvey asked her about what had happened at the celebration tent. She had thought everybody had heard about it already but realized that not all of her friends had showed up at the party. He sounded angry at her though. Like as if she was keeping secrets from him and she didn't like that. She didn't want her friends to think that. So she told them. "Well I was at the party with Minnie when uh....Aaron came out of nowhere, jumped on a table and in front of everyone, yelled out that he loved me. That's all that happened. I mean I love him and all that, I just wasn't sure about his feelings. And now I do. I was hoping that he'd be here at the feast, so that you could meet him, if you don't already know him, but he hasn't shown up yet." Alyssa told everyone. Now there weren't any secrets although technically this wasn't a secret since she thought everybody would have been talking about it. Guess she was wrong.



Alyssa quickly turned around when someone grabbed her in a hug. It was KITA!! Alyssa immediately turned around and returned her hug, hanging on and not wanting to let go. She figured that if she didn't let go, Kita couldn't leave her. Tears started rolling down her cheeks again.

"Kita please don't leave me. I need you. You were the only one who cared enough and who took the time to listen and who wanted to know why I was leaving and who begged me to stay. Who will I turn to now after you leave? Who will I be able to talk with, who will understand why I feel the way I do? Who will make me realize that I'm not alone? I don't have any other older friends who I can talk with, who will not think I'm a stupid crybaby. You say that you won't forget me and that you will always keep in touch but now that you have Jai, you won't want to spend time with me anymore. You'll forget me. I know you will."Alyssa started to cry more, hiding her face in Kita's shoulder. Then she whispered so that no one but Kita could hear, "Thank you for keeping my secret and not telling it to everyone."

Jai wondered over to the Hufflepuff table. To find two of his favourite Huffies, Cass and Kit. He didn't see Cassie but his eye caught sight of the dark haired beauty. he walked over to her and said,"So, did you save me a hug too?", with his arms spread by his sides and a big smile.

As Alyssa recounted the events of the celebration Harvey couldnt help it, his mouth dropped open to his chest. He could NOT believe what he was hearing, could the prediction he made in Divination have come true? As she talked his smile just got bigger and bigger and bigger. He was SO happy for Alyssa, well he kind of knew this was going to happen, but this soon? THAT he didnt know. "I...I.... oh I am so happy for you! I ... I cant believe this! I... I.. oh!" he said stuttering. "I.... I would l..love to meet Aaron." he said... he got up and went over to Alyssa and he gave her a friendly hug. "I dont know what else to say, I mean this is all very sudden. But I am well and truely happy for you. If you want to have him join us in our compartment then you are more than welcome to, or you could get just a compartment on your own, just the two of you." he said smiling before taking his seat next to Minnie again. He continued to think about what he had said in Divination before, those tea leaves were very accurate on what he had read for Alyssa. Now if they were correct for her, then what is to say it wont be accurate for Minnie, he thought as he looked over to her. He really hoped that his prediction for Minnie comes true, he truely wanted her to be happy too. Harvey couldnt help but over hear what Alyssa said, did she not tell anyone else her problems. He wanted her to treat him like a friend and talk to him too if she needed to talk to someone. He made a note that he would mention this to her sometime. He thought they were friends, and friends help each other. Did Minnie know all about Alyssa's problems? He now more than ever before wished he was a puff, he was missing out on all this and it made him sad to know that he was. He didnt let Alyssa knew he had heard her, instead he turned his attention to Minnie, not saying anything but just looking at her.

She talks too much >.<
 

Kita could feel Lyssie hanging onto her so she hung on as well. Heck, if Lyssie wasn't going to let go, neither was Kita. They could both sit here hugging each other.

... Except the house elves probably wouldn't like that.

Listening to Lyssie's speech only made Kita cry even more. True, full front tears of sadness. This wasn't normal. Letting go, she smiled sadly at the girl. "I don't want to leave you. If i could stay back another year, i would. But that'll only make things worse," Well... it would wouldn't it? Everything would be a whole lot sadder. "You have your other friends as well! And you'll make a whole lot of new friends. Some who won't squeeze the life out of you everytime they see you. And the only reason i understand is because i've been through what you're going through. In a way. More people will come along and they'll make you realise that you're not alone in this world. And that's what i want you to learn from this year. You're not alone at all. As for the older friends issue: you have tons! You can always go to the Prefects, they're pretty nice. And there's some other older people who'd love to pass on their knowledge to you. No one will think you're a crybaby. And if they do, they just don't understand what you're going through." Wait... WHAT?! "Lyssie, i WILL keep in touch. Just because i have Jai doesn't mean i'd forget about my friends, especially those who are as close as my family," That was weird coming from an adopted child. "I'll never forget you. Ever."

Kita held onto Lyssie as the girl continued to cry on her shoulder. She didn't mind. Really. "I'd hate it if something like that got out so it's no problem whatsoever," she whispered back before saying in a normal voice, "I just wanted to thank you for everything this year. Attending matches when you barely knew about Quidditch and then attending every single practice i'd held. And of course, for being one of my closest friends. Thanks Lyssie." There. She had said what she needed to.



Kita was just about to get up to visit some of her friends in the other houses when she heard a voice. Looks like people wanted her to stay where she was.

But... there was something familiar and nice about the voice she was hearing. Kita turned round and looked at the boy standing there with his arms spread by his side. A wide grin spread across her face. He wanted a hug? Teehee! "I always have a hug saved for you," she said before getting up and wrapping her arms around Jai's neck. She gave him a small Kita-like squeeze. There. All better now.

Alyssa hug on but stopped crying. She knew that she had to get a hold of herself. She didnt want to embarrass her friends or Kita. So she pushed back and looked at Kita," Thank you for allowing me to play. I would never have gotten to know you better, if you hadn't. You're right. I have my friends here and yes I do know some older ones, but no one will be you. You're very special and don't you ever forget that. You will come and visit me right? Remember my Dad has already bought your plane tickets. And maybe I can visit you and we will be seeing each other at Aaron's. You are still coming?" Alyssa needed confirmation that she wasn't going to lose her best friend.

But then the Gryffindor Prefect, Jai came over and Alyssa moved back so that he could talk with her.



Alyssa smiled. She was happy that Kita had found someone she liked a lot. Jai was a nice enough guy for her. What's this? The way Kita was hugging him was not acceptable. So Alyssa said, "For crying out loud, Kita. I know you can hug harder than that. Give Jai a proper hug,"

This was it. The last time she'd be in the great hall this year. Nessie walked into the great hall with a little frown on her face. As much as she couldn't wait to get out of Hogwarts she'd miss the place and all the people in it. She thought her second year was going to be easier than her first, but it really wasn't. Her second year must have been one of the hardest years she had ever had in her life. She was most of it was over, she just had to deal with the difficult summer that was ahead.

She headed over to the Hufflepuff table, she didn't feel like talking to anyone, neither did she feel like searching for her friends to say goodbye. She hated goodbyes and tried avoid them as much as she could. So to distract herself from all the goodbyes she put some food on her plate and started nibbling away hoping nobody noticed her.

" Well, I do hope that there'll be room for Ame and I in your compatment." Justin said as he shoveled a forkful into his mouth. " This is going to be the best holiday ever! " he said as he wrapped his arms around the best friends he had ever had.

Aaron came running over as fast as he could, Lafay was scary!! He sat down next to Alyssa and huffed, at least he could say that he had done the dare.
'Sooooo, I may or may not have DONE YOUR CHALLENGE!' He exclaimed proudly as he looked the table over to see who else was here. 'Oh, hai guys!'

Harvey smiled at Justin and frowned a little "Of Course there is room in our compartment for the both of you. I already counted you two as part of the 7 or 8 people we have in our compartment. Yeah its alot, but we are all friends and I want to make this last journey together before we part ways." he said smiling and looked over to Minnie and gave her a smile.

" Well, we'll all pack ourselves in there somewhere...Somehow. It should be a nice way to end the term. Plus, We'll get to hang out outside of school. Who knows what kind of shananigans we can get into." Justin joked.

Harvey laughed "Oh i agree Justin!" he said still laughing

Alyssa's mouth was still gaping open in shock. She suspected that Aaron would appear with a bang, but she didn't expect him to carry out a dare that she had dared him a couple of months back. He had hugged Professor Lafay. Alyssa quickly glanced over to see what the Professor's reaction was. So far she still looked like she was still in shock.

"Merlin!! Aaron, you are certifiably crazy. I didn't think you were really going to carry out that dare." Then Alyssa busted up laughing and hugged him. "Everybody, for those who haven't met this clown, this is Aaron, uh! My boyfriend," blushing as she introduced Aaron to everyone at the table.

Harvey smiled as an older boy sat down next to Alyssa, he instantly figured out that this must be Aaron. And sure enough Alyssa introduced them "Hey Aaron I am Harvey. Nice to meet you" he said stretching out his hand to shake his. Harvey beamed when he saw Alyssa blush as she introduced Aaron as her boyfriend.

Louisa's eyes almost fell out of her face from the sudden squeeze she got, no matter how used she got to Kita's greetings, they always... were effective. The younger girl patted her back before pulling free and looking at her friend.

.. who was crying. D: WHY WAS SHE CRYING?

Louisa's mouth was open slightly and she didn't reply instantly. Her lump got to go first. Gulping and wearing a brave face, she forced a smile, "It's okay, Kita." Putting a hand on the girl's arm for comforting, "You're just... not going to be.. in .. a place." Swallow. "You've had your turn here and... time for more... kiddies to.. join us." And Louisa was so going to kill the kiddies next year for taking the place of her BESTIE.

Justin sat back with a huge smile on his face, " It's about time you to got together. Well done, you guys. I'm glad to see your bright smile, Alyssa."
" Harv, did your folks approve you stopping at my house when we pull into London? You never let me know for sure." asked Justin.

Minerva giggled as Alyssa told everyone about Aaron. "I am so glad you finally told everyone. I didn't want to ruin it, but I wanted to tell them so bad." She was horrible at keeping secrets, but she did not want to ruin it for Alyssa to be able to tell the good news for everyone. She sat smiling at all her friends. They were all so happy. All dating.. Minerva realized in every way she was the third wheel. Oh well at least summer was here and she wouldn't have to be the weird friend that hung out with all the couples. Aaron sat down quickly. "Oh my Aaron what did you do now?" Minerva never underestimated him. She watched her friends talk to each other and just took in the site then she thought about summer and how she was going to miss all of them.

Harvey beamed "Yep! but they wont make it since my muggle cousins are staying over, they are going to take them sightseeing around London. So it will be just me and Ronnie." he said smiling. He was happy to be spending time with his friends over the holidays.

Amethyst just smiled softly, watching everyone else. She kept to herself, keeping absolute quiet. She was happy for Aaron and Alyssa. Double A, she'd refer to them as. Amethyst, frankly, was worried. About next term, house points, Quidditch, Gobstones, Classes....and Kyle. She was nervous, and got more nervous, as seconds ticked by.

" Minerva, Ame and I are gonna try to get to a couple of your dance competitions. And you've got an open invitation to my house if you're ever in the neighborhood." Justin smiled. " Are you able to come to the dinner party? "
" Great! I'll send an owl to my mother tonight so she's got a good count."

As Cassie made her way to the HufflePuff table she pulled every single hufflepuff student walking in her vicinity towards her and glomped them fiercely. The first years even got little kisses on their forehead while she was hugging them. Did this count as assault? Of it did she didn't care. Did they not know how much Cassie Storm loved her house and her house-mates?

When she finally reached the table she hugged the person next to her and the person on the other side, then she looked fondly at the silverware. She would miss those too. They did serve the puffs didn't they, so yes they were precious. Why did she not notice how beautiful the wood of the table was before now? So lovely. She rubbed it fondly.

"I love you table, and I'm going to miss you." Hair flip.

Minerva startled when Justin talked to her. She was deep in thought. "Oh, umm when is it again. I can check my schedule I have it right here." Minerva pulled out her schedule from her bag.

Treyen resisted the urge to roll his eyes at Cassie's behavior as he watched her make her way to the Great Hall. He'd arrived after her, mainly because he decided at the last minute to join the other students at the feast. He...would rather not think this was the last time he'll be seeing a few of them at Hogwarts, but he'll see them once they were out of the Castle, right? Right.

It still wasn't the same, but the thought made him feel a bit better. Except...he couldn't help to think about it, especially since Cassie spoke to the table.

Not even caring who was sitting next to her (because he was now occupying that spot) the Prefect half-hugged the seventh year, "And I'll miss you," he was talking to Cassie, not the table, okay?

" Why so quiet, Love? You're nervous about going home aren't you? Don't worry I'll be right there with you." Justin smiled as he gave his girlfriend a squeeze.
" My mom tried to make it easier for everyone to attend. We're having it a couple of hours after we get off the train in London. I do hope you can attend. Can't you make it? It wouldn't be the same without you." he pleaded.

Minerva smiled "Oh ok, yes I should be able to then. Mom isn't picking me up I was just taking a taxi to the airport to fly to Germany so I could come there first. My flight isn't until later I was just going to hang out at the airport." Minerva didn't realize she hadn't looked at Justin at all as she was talking to him. She was staring at someone who had been right in front of her the entire term. She hurried and looked down when she realized she had been starring at him. Hoping he didn't notice.

Harvey smiled as Minnie giggled, he was still getting used to hearing her giggle after a while. He vowed to hang out with Minnie while on holiday, just the two of them. He would like that alot! Then he heard Justin tell Minnie that he and Ame were going to attend Minnie's competitions over the summers and tell him that he will send an owl to his mother informing her. Minnie then went ahead and checked her schedule to see if Minnie could attend Justins party. He hoped she would. He then looked at Minnie and saw her looking at him and then looked down. Huh he wondered why she just did that. Why look down when he looked at her? Did she know what he was thinking? Oh god he would have to be more careful. He continued to look at her, he ended up staring at her without even realising it as he was looking at everything about her. Her face, eyes, hair everything. He then shook himself hoping that nobody noticed. He didnt want people to know yet what he had realised these past few days.

Cassie looked up as she felt someone hug her? What was this? Someone was sharing her sentimentality? How lovely. It was Treyen! Uber cute all grown up Treyen! She grabbed his head and hugged it. Rubbing the side of his face as she pressed her cheek against the top of his head. She would miss this little guy so much.

And now she was getting teary. See Treyen was proof that she had grown up and it was his turn now to be head of the school and so all the seventh years had to go.

She finally released him. "I'm going to miss you too! I'm so proud of you Mr." She beamed at him.

"Did you know this old table was so beautiful?" She looked at the table fondly again.

She smiled wide, leaning into him. She had the best group of friends (and boyfriend) ever. She tried thinking of life without them, pfft. Thinking process Denied.

Minerva started playing with her fork watching and staring again.. Oh boy stop staring Minnie.. Stop staring he's going to notice. She put the fork down and tried to figure out what to do or say. She got up and walked to the Gryffindor table. She was gone awhile and then came back and sat down hoping to have her head back where it needed to be.

WAIT! HIS HAAAAAIIIIIR, CASSIE! HIS HAIR!

Sigh. Fine. She was leaving, he'll let it go. But he was positively frowning by the time she released him. And, yes, he begun to rearrange whatever Cassie had messed up before turning his face to her again.

Too many girls have gotten away with messing his hair this year. Not cool. First Victoria, then Ellie, and now Cassie. TOO MANY. Though, he was sure Arya had done so at some point.

No tears, please. "Thanks." Lexi had also said that, and he had no idea why Cassie was now saying the same thing. And he chuckled next, "It actually isn't, but I can see why you'd say that." Because the table was just a table, but knowing this was the last time you'll see it as a student...well, honestly, Treyen wouldn't feel different about the table, but Cassie seemed to.

Strange. But...yeah.

Just as Harvey had shook himself for staring at Minnie, she got up and went to the Gryffindor table. He didnt watch her as he didnt want people to notice what he was thinking. So he just sat there, when she suddenly came back. His heart beat faster. He had to ask "Mins are you ok? Why did you up and leave like that? I thought you werent going to come back." he asked as he leaned in towards Minnie so that he wouldnt have to shout over everyone. He hoped nothing was wrong, he would hate to see that.

Justin leaned towards his two best friends, " ya know i've seen this before." And with that Justin sat back and wiggled his eyebrows at them. It had been obvious for weeks now and they thought he wouldn't notice. Justin sat there just giggling at them. it was really cute , actually.
" Say there, Beautiful? What do ya say to one last walk down to the waterfall before we leave on holiday? Just you and me. " said Justin as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
" We'll catch up in the commonroom later then? " he said as he winked at Minerva; letting her know she wasn't flying beneath the radar with him.

Alyssa noticed Nessie sitting all by herself. So called over to her,"Nessie what are you doing way over there? Come join us here. Aaron could you scoot over and make room for her please," Alyssa smiled at Aaron before beckoning her friend over. Nessie still didn't look well and Alyssa was worried about her but at least she was going home. She could rest up there. Alyssa missed someone else too. Penny. She hadn't seen her since after the match. She hoped that she was okay. 'Maybe I'll see her on the train," Alyssa thought to herself.



Alyssa couldn't help but laugh when she saw Cassie hug their table. "Cassie what are you doing? I knew that you were going to miss Hogwarts but I didn't think you were going to miss it that much!!". She ran over to hug Cassie. "I didn't get to know you that well, but I'm going to miss you too."

Alyssa was returning to join her friends and noticed Minerva and Harvey looking at each other awkwardly. She started to smile.





Definitely something was going on between the two of them. Avoiding each others eyes, staring at the other and then looking away when the other looked back. All very familiar signs indeed. So Alyssa went over to Harvey and whispered in his ear,"Remember what I told you once before, Harv. Don't wait too long. You might not get another chance."

She then discreetly moved over to Minnie and whispered in her ear. "If you like him , and I somehow know that it may be more than like, don't let him go without telling him. You might regret it later." Alyssa whispered in Minnie's ear.

She then returned to where Aaron was, and lay her head on his shoulder. Alyssa was happy.

"Oh Harvs I'm fine I was just trying to get Ronnie and Rose to come over and join us." She knew she was safer not to do anything stupid that way. She looked at him and smiled and small confused smile. Yes confused that was the best word for it. Then Justin leaned in and what, what did he say. She blushed the brightest red she had blushed all term. "Justin what are you talking about?" She tried to act confused, but she knew that he knew her to well and her face was giving her away. She looked away and tried to figure out what to say or if she should just get up and run away. She looked around to see if Ronnie and Rose were coming yet. Kind of glad they didn't follow right away for she didn't want them to read into her blushing and get them upset with her. She couldn't think of Rose being mad at her again and hurting Ronnie, no way was that going to happen. THEN Alyssa came over to her. That is when she knew it was to obvious and if it was to obvious to all of them it would be only a matter of time for Ronnie as well. Minerva started to panic her breathing got quick. She couldn't hurt her friends she was so confused. She looked at Alyssa and whispered. "Please not now Alyssa, it can't be, I don' know what I want or what I'm doing" She had to get out of there, she had to.

" Alyssa's right ya know? " Justin whispered in Minie's ear. " You heard me. "

Cassie smiled at the younger girl as she came over and gave her a big young. Squish. Aww the little badger cubs were so cute. "Nevermind me, I'm probably just overly sentimental tonight." She pulled back and beamed at the girl. "It's okay, sometimes its not how long you know someone right? I'm going to miss you too."

She grinned as she watched the younger girl head back to her friends.

Oh he was fixing his hair, perhaps he didn't help fixing it. She was pretty good with foofing guys hair and making it all sexy messy. And she was about to help with the foofing when he stoppped. Pout. Who knew how soon she would be able to foof his hair again..sigh.

She smiled at him and nodded.

Cass frowned at him slightly." What? Look at it properly Treyen!" Yeah it was a little chipped and worn looking and there were obvious scratches from utensils that perhaps some students had done on purpose but it just added to the beauty of the table. Sigh. But then he'd have it next year so he had time to come to appreciate it.

"It's just that...I'm really going to miss this place..." She sighed and looked up at the enchanted ceiling.

She blushed deeply, smiling. She loved that Waterfall. It had big meaning to her, and being able to be there with Wellheart made her smile. She really wanted to hear the end of term speech end eat though. "Perhaps after the feast?" She smiled, kissing his nose gently.

Kita smiled sadly down at Lyssie as the girls pulled away from each other. She couldn't remember how many times she had squeezed this girl but it was nice to hug her one last time. In Hogwarts that is.

"I think you should thank Hadley about that. She recommended you to me and i accepted. And then i just let you play. So Hadley's the nice one here," She wasn't going to take credit for something Hadley had done. No no. "What do you mean? We would have still talked. We still did, even if Quidditch got in the way." Quidditch did like to get in the way sometimes.

Kita blinked. She was already crying so it didn't matter whether more tears were flowing down her face or not. But... what the girl had just said was so sweet! "There are some better older students who will love you. And they will actually act normal and give you proper advice. But you're very special as well. Always remember that. People love you for who you are so don't ever change."

And... there was the invitation. Teehee! She could go over to visit Lyssie in the summer now! "You just try keeping me away. I'll be at Aaron's as well so now you get to see even more of me," She would let the girl decide whether that was a good thing or not. "I'm an owl away if you need me, okay?"



Squiiiiiiiiint!

Who was THAT?! The person seemed very familiar but Kita couldn't see properly through her tears. She blinked rapidly, waiting for her vision to become clearer.

... NESSIEEEE!

Kita jumped up on her feet and ran over towards the girl. She didn't care whether Nessie wanted to be alone or not. No. The girl was going to get a hug and a goodbye. They'd known each other for... two years? There was no way Kita could leave without saying bye.

Reaching the girl, she threw her arms around Nessie and gave her a squeeze. "I'm going to miss you Nessie," she whispered. Who knew when the two girls will get to see each other next.



... HUH?!

Challenge? What challenge? Kita looked up to see Aaron with a very proud expression on his face. Hm...

Okay, but something else was needed to be said first. Kind of. Kita stood up, walked round Lyssie and threw her arms around the boy. Now time for her special little squeezes! "I'm going to miss you Aaron," she said. Even though they had only known each other for a year, she was still going to miss his weirdness.



Kita smiled sadly at Louisa. It was hard enough saying bye to Hogwarts and your house but... best friends were a different matter. Louisa was younger than her as well which meant that she was going to be staying at Hogwarts. No random weekend visits at all.

And... now the girl had a brave face on. Louisa was like that. Barely ever showing her true feelings. Right? Either way, she was one of the hardest people to say goodbye to. "... You're such a smart Ravenclaw!" she said as more tears started flowing down her face, "I'll visit you! And write! You'd better write back!" Kita would hate to lose contact with the girl. "Just know that you're a very special person, okay? And if anyone does anything to hurt you, i'll... shout at them." She couldn't HURT people. Even the idea of doing that was scary.



Kita couldn't help but giggle as she watched Cassie hug every person who walked by the Hufflepuff table. Cassie was just lovely like that. And Kita needed to give the girl a hug!

The brunette stood up and ran over towards her dorm mate. Cassie was one of the people she had known the longest at Hogwarts. Seven years was quite a long time to get to know someone! And so, Cassie would be missed a lot.

Reaching her fellow seventh year, Kita wrapped her arms around the girl and squeezed her gently. "I'm going to miss you Cassie," she said, "Thank you for all the fashion advice."

Harvey jumped a bit as Justin spoke to him in a hush tone. He was confused what did that mean and why was he wiggling his eyebrows at him. But he then left with Ame and told Minnie they would catch-up in the common room. He looked at Minnie and then Alyssa whispered to him in his ear



Harvey listened to what Alyssa told him. He frowned as she went back to Minnie and whispered to her too. What was it with everyone today. What were they talking about.. Dont wait too long.. he might not get another chance... what did all this mean. Did Alyssa and Justin think that he and Minnie.. NO! It cannot be... he had Ronnie now.. he was not allowed to think of her like that.. and he wasnt.. was he? he didnt know.. he and Minnie were just friends.. nothing more they have been this way since their breakup. He looked at Minnie who was now answering his question.



Harvey listened to what she said "Oh ok. I was just wondering thats all. I thought maybe I had done something wrong." he said as he smiled at her and she smiled back. That was when he felt something inside of him, just as she smiled. She then blushed at Justin's comment and brushed it away. Yeah they were all talking nonsense, what had gotten into everyone today? He then noticed that she was troubled, why? he wondered. Why was his heart beating fast? his breathing was not normal? what was happening to him? Minnie is a friend nothing more, just a friend. Yes thats right a friend.. he said to himself as his breathing calmed down. He looked around "Hmm I wonder where Rose and Ronnie have gotten to? you said you went to call them right? Mins you ok, you seem... tense or troubled.. is everything ok?" he asked as he looked at her, and just kept looking before looking at Alyssa and Aaron.

" Of course , Ame. I'm still hungry as well." Justin smiled nervously. For he had a special gift to give her before they left Hogwarts. And the only right place to give it to her was at the waterfall. Then he pushed the food around on his plate and became entranced as he went throught the speech he was going to deliver to her.

Ok that was enough she couldn't take anymore. Minerva got up and looked around the great hall. "umm guys I have to use the restroom I will be back." and with that she took off out of the great hall trying to calm down her breathing and get the red out of her face. She placed her hand to her face to feel how warm it was..

Just as Harvey had calmed down, Justin started again and whispered something to Minnie. What was with everyone today? why were they acting strange like this. Suddenly Minnie stood up and looked around the hall and said that she needed to use the restroom. "Minn.." was all he managed before she was gone. He then turned to Justin and Alyssa talking to both of them, now that Minnie was gone it would be a bit easier "Ok what is it with you two? Whats with the whispering?" he asked concerned. He had to know.

They couldn't be seriously having a conversation about a table, could they?! That was...insane.

He wasn't that surprised, though.

He resisted the urge to roll his eyes and smiled. Widenly. "The table isn't nearly as beautiful as you are. Nor as helpful. So, really, I'll miss you more than I could ever miss this particular table." And she should stop commenting on it.

Place. Yes, that's the word she should've used. At this point, Treyen mimicked her and eyed the ceiling up there. "I know." And he hoped that when his time to leave came he wouldn't be talking about a silly table.

Carter slid in to the seat next to Kita and gave the Captain a huge hug. "Well... I guess this is it then." he said with a weak smile. "Who would have thought I'd make it this far?" he added with a little laugh.

Although... there was still time for his head of house to tell him that he wasn't actually graduating.

"I'll miss you Captain. Thanks for everything."

Geleto smiled and then saw Minnie leave. What was that all about? She shruged and rested her head on Justin. Wait. She sat up looking at him. She took his chin into her hand and examined his face. "You okay?"

Justin's face turned a bright shade of red as Amethyst pulled him to face her.
" Y-yeah. I'm fine. You? " he said as he began to ring his hands. By this time he started to go into panic mode and began to feel beads of sweat form on his forehead.

Oh Merlin. Sweat. She looked at him concerned. "Perhaps we should go outside." She stood and held out her hand. "I'll see to it you feel better." He has never stuttered before, she thought.

" i really need you to go to the waterfall with me...just for a moment...p-please? " Justin pleaded. " I'll be fine after that I promise. " Justin said as they both got up excusing themselves.

" We'll be back in a few minutes, Guys. "

"Oh..okay..." She went white. Could her darkest nightmare become reality? She stood, her hand reaching for him. She was ready. Good or bad, ready she was.

"Someone tell me the end of term speech if we miss it," she joked.

Harvey watched as Justin got up "Ok no problem." he said to him as they left the hall.

Justin and Ame didn't make it to the waterfall. The main entrance was blocked so they had to return to the Great hall. they came back in and sat down where they had been sitting. Justin just kind of smiled weakly at Harvey as he sat back down. Then he turned to Amethyst and a naughty little half smile crossed his lips.

" Amethyst, I know that we are still very young, but I can't see past you. Everytime you walk into the room no matter how blue I may feel you bring a smile to my face. I can't imagine this life without you in it. Ame? " said Justin as he pulled it from his pocket and slid something onto her left ring finger, " i'm giving you this promise ring in hopes that one day you'll accept my hand in marriage. I wanted to ask you at the waterfall, but.... Will you accept my promise? "
Justin was now as red as he could become and all of their friends were staring at him with their mouths gaping open.

Kita is going to make me cry again!!
 

Alyssa tried to stop the tears from flowing, but she hadn't met anyone as special as Kita. Yeah she knew some of the older kids but they would never replace her. NO!! But then she brightened up when she heard that Kita was going to take up on her offer and come and visit her in the States. "You will? Awesome!! I'll teach you how to surf, we'll go muggle place sightseeing and we could also go to that Muggle Place in Orlando, Florida where they have a park called Harry Potter. Isn't that crazy?" Alyssa had always secretly wanted to go there, just to see whether they got their stuff right about Harry Potter!! If they didn't, she was going to tell them, that's for sure!! Alyssa



Alyssa sensed something was wrong and decided not to push Minnie any further. So she quickly changed the subject. "Min, I heard that you were going to be alone at the airport by yourself on your way back home.is that true? What time does your flight leave? My parents are coming to meet me at the Station and then we're flying back to the States. Would you like to hang out with us until your flight leaves? Please say yes,"

Harvey just kept blinking as he stared at the ring on her finger and then he looked at Justin in disbelief. These two were very serious werent they.. to accept a promise like that was a big thing. It was like accepting a marriage proposal... he just continued to look between Ame, the ring and Justin. He then began to think what if he were to give someone a promise.. would that be possible. But was he ready for that... no he wasnt.. anyways no point thinking like that as there was NOTHING there,, nothing!! He then waited for Ame to answer yes or no as he watched her

Minerva slowly walked back to her table. She was in a state of confusion and thoughts. She stood off to the side and just watched her friends. She was hoping not be noticed, because she just wanted to watch them. Then Justin was doing something, what was it. A ring, what the bloody hell was he doing he was only 11. Minerva just shook her head and watch the rest of her friends reactions. Then she watched Harvey. Needing to figure out her thoughts she sat at the corner of the puff table alone watching.

" guys, relax. It's just a promise that if we still feel the same way when we're old enough to make that commitment we'll make that descision. I'm not Proposing right now. Geez. You two read too much into things. " said Justin trying to help them understand they were over reacting.

Harvey rubbed the back of his neck "Y..y.yeah I k..know. Its just I cant believe that you love each other that much that you want to make that promise. I mean I know I love Min.. I mean Ronnie but I dont know whether I can make that type of promise. Thats all" he said smiling weakly. His heart beating fast.. it was just a slip of the tongue it didnt mean a thing... nothing.. slip of the tongue. It meant nothing.



Harvey looked around the hall so that he wouldnt have to face any looks for that slip of the tongue, when he saw that Minnie was in the hall but away from them. He wondered why that was.. why was she sitting there an not coming here. He saw that she was looking at him. so he smiled and he got up and went over to her. "Ok Mins you are now worrying me. You seem tense and deep in thought. What are you thinking about? Maybe I can help." he said as he sat down next to her facing her. He then watched her and waited for her to answer.

She blushed deeply as her hands covered her quivering lips she looked at the ring then him. "Justin..." She wrapped her arms around him, tears streaming. "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!"

Well Minerva's hiding must not have worked, because Justin saw her staring so she walked back and sat down with her friends. Before she got to them Harvey came to her. "Harvs I'm fine. Just a lot on the mind with the end of term and the dance competitions." Lie, lie, lie Minnie thought to herself. "Let's go sit down." Minnie walked back to her friends not really making eye contact with anyone. "Just we just worry about you that's all." Then she turned to Alyssa "Oh Justin asked me to come over for dinner. Why don't you come with us before you leave. Alyssa I have never asked you which Salem do you live in?" There was so may Salem's in the U.S. That Minerva wasn't sure which State she was talking about.

Harvey relaxed...ok that is always a possbility, what with her competitions and her parting ways with her.......... friends.. "Ok thats fine. I thought it was something else. Ok lets go" he said as he went back to the table with her. She then talked to Justin and Alyssa as Harvey watched her. Nope there was nothing she was acting normal and talking normal. He didnt know what he saw then, maybe he was seeing things. He thought to himself
