'You're in my year, aren't you?' she said, looking at the girl. She must have been. She was too small for a third year, and couldn't bee a firstie because they always moved round in packs, and this girl was alone. 'What's your name?' Daisy asked. 'I'm Daisy.' she shifted the bag of doritos, the chocolate and the ketchup nearer to the girl, so she could help herself. How had she never really spoken to her. They were even in the same dorm and everything.... |

Alyssa woke up and realized that she had fallen asleep on the couch. She checked to see whether she had drooled on herself. She checked the time and noticed that it was eight o'clock. "Oh Merlin, I must have been tired. I guess I'd better get up to bed before I fall asleep again. Thank goodness tomorrow is Saturday. I love classes but right now I could use a break." She dragged herself up the stairs to the girl's dorm. |

'Sorry that sounded so formal, I tend to keep to myself.' Phoenix said with a nevous laugh after a minute 'Hi, I'm Phoenix.' she amended with another nervous chuckle. |
Quote:
'Phoenix. That's an awesome name,' Daisy said, 'actual Phoenixs are so beautiful. Daisies are just boring little flowers,' she laughed. 'I'm guessing that doesn't make you muggleborn, having a name like that,' she added. It was nice, thought Daisy, to meet more people. She got on with all her friends, but liked meeting people, and Phoenix seemed nice so far... |

She looked down then, Phoenix didn't tend to mix after everything that had happened and she didn't want to scare Daisy off with her strangeness. 'So is there any Wizarding blood in your family?' she asked. |
So sorry for the late reply! Quote:
The Great Hall? That was the last place she had seen Arnold? Among the dirty dishes? "Shall we check there?" she asked, standing up, "He could be hopping around trying to find where his Mia went off to." ... Do Puffskein's hop? Early night? "But... but... what about your Puffskein?" she asked, looking at Mia who was more or less the same height as her. And she was in heels! Merlin, the girl was tall! She shook her head and turned her attention back to Mia. Oh. Boyfriend issues. Silly boys causing unnecessary trouble. Hmph. "You'll get to see him soon. There's... Hogsmeade weekends and... and... the holidays!" she said, despite the fact that it didn't seem like Mia needed cheering up. Meh. Whatever. Weirdness? "Now that you mention it, it does!" she said, looking around at the common room, "It's the last year for everything, i guess. Last year roaming this castle, last year of eating in the Great Hall, last year of Hogwarts in general. It's sad." Apart from the 'last year of classes' bit... that wasn't sad at all. |

"I am so frightened that I will say something wrong! DADA seems pretty cool so far, but we haven't done anything! Herbology is really fun so far though! I pulled two fangs out of a Biting Toadstool!!!" Faven said gleefully. "I was scared at first but it was really cool! I have been reading pretty much all my books, I just want to learn all that I can!!!! Oh heavens, I'm not trying out! I've never ridden a broom before!" |

Ah. Of course. That had been his number reason for telling Ellie everything. Because she may think better of him if she heard things from Treyen himself. Not that it ended up mattering in any way. But still. "I see," he said, as he leaned back against his seat. And then eyed Arya again, THAT was what he'd been wondering, "That's what I wanted to ask, if there was a way of knowing via a test or something...but...you still don't know if he got the results or not...," he wasn't asking, he was merely clarifying things for his own sake. A sigh left him, and his eyes landed on Perseus for a moment, "Why don't you write to him? Ask him about the results?" if he'd taken a test or something similar. |

The compliment about her own name broke her train of thought. Maybe Daisy did have a nice ring to it. 'Thanks,' she smiled, 'I guess you're right. I still prefer Phoenix though. Everyone's called Daisy. Well at least it feels like it,' she smiled. 'And i'm pure-blood,' she added casually. Blood status did not concern her at all, but it was nice knowing all about magic through childhood, and defintley helped her ambition along the way |

'Maybe, but sometimes its nice having a name that other people have, some people think being named after a magical creature is weird.' she said, her mouth twisting into what could only be described as a cross between a grimace and a grin. 'Anyway, what's with the ketchup, doritos and chocolate if you don't mind me asking? A bit of a strange combination for a snack.' Phoenix looked at the bottle of ketchup, packet of doritos and chocolate bar at Daisy's feet and couldn't help but laugh at the rather funny combination of food. |
ortalismusicoh Aaron yawned, deciding he needed action. He looked around, but everyone he saw was already in a conversation or distracted by something else. Everyone, but Aaron. And he was bored, very bored. He needed to get rid of his energy and got up. He carefully stretched out, making a few dramatic stretches that made him look like a giant. He then took out his wand and made a sad attempt at conjuring up a skipping rope, this stuff was hard and he wished he'd paid better attention during class. 'No skipping rope then.' Aaron told himself and instead managed to somehow stand on his hands without tumbling over. 'Awesome!' He muttered, already feeling himself leaning over dangerously. |

Was this guy mental? Laughing crazily Nessie watched an older student that seemed pretty peroccupied in the common room. He first started stretching like and then he tried to do some magic. She couldn't stop laughing especially when he did a handstand that was the funniest part. The older boy looked as though he may have been a fith or sixth year, but here he was acting like a one year old was he mad? Walking over to him she bent her head so she could speak to him face to face. "What in Merlins Beard are you doing?" she asked still laughing. |

He could feel the blood running to his head and shook his head, trying to get rid of that nasty feeling. 'So I thought it'd be entertaining to do this. But it just feels uncomfortable.' He made a sad face just as he felt himself loose all balance and tumbled over, slamming his head into the floor. That floor didn't feel nearly as soft as it looked. Aaron groaned as he got up, rubbing his head. 'I managed to stay up super long, though.' Aaron gave himself the thumbs up. |
Minerva came in to the common room and found a place near the fire. This was one of her favorite places to sit. She hadn't talked to many Hufflepuff's lately and looked around to see if anyone was up to chat. |
