Her bang slung over her shoulder, Kurumi made her way to the study tables with Walnut trailing close behind her. While Care of Magical Creatures did not have a lesson set for a while yet, Kurumi just couldn't keep her mind off them for too long. She set her bag on the chair and giggled as Walnut jumped onto the desk and began purring up a storm.

"Walnut, I have very important things to attend to," she said with a giggle as she began unloading the contents of her bag onto the table. First came the books on dragons: 101 Things to Do with a Firebreathing Dragon, The Day I Kissed a Swedish Short-Snout, Tangling with the Horntail, Migration of the Antipodean Opaleye, and a few other titles that she had bought over the summer from the third hand bookshop. Once these were arranged, Kurumi pulled out a clear folder that contained various newspaper clippings, pictures, charts, and notes from last term - all of which she had found in the library last term with...Treyen...

Kurumi frowned. It was already a few days into the term and she still hadn't seen nor spoken with him once - not that she was really wanting to, of course. What was she saying? She couldn't keep lying to herself like this. She missed her Hufflepuff Prince and the way he made her feel comfortable...

...but...he was the one spreading rumors, horrible ones at that, about her. At least, that was the impression she had from her conversation with Ellie.

Sighing, Kurumi put the file on her father to the side and picked up one of her dragon books. Her bag was still at her feet and had several other books still in it, but she would get to those later.

Lilly decided she should study for a while, as she had nothing better to do. She reached into her bag, and pulled out A standard book of spells grade 1.

Skye walked over to the study tables with her fanastic beasts and where to find them, she was looking forward to starting the care of magical creatures lessons then any of the other lessons.
skye settled into reading her book and didnt relise that there was already 2 girls sitting there one was the Griffindor prefect kurumi and another girl who looked like she was in her first year. skye thought it might be a good idea to introduce herself the the first year she really hadnt mixed in well "Hi im skye im guessing your in first year too." skye relised she was reading the standard book of spells grade 1.

skye also quickly said "hi" to kurumi who was sat there with quite a few of her books. with her cat who must be walnut sitting on table with her.

"Hi, I'm Lilly." Lilly replied

Ronnie walked to the study tables and sat down, a parchment and quill ready to write the letter. She waited for Plumeria to come.

Plumeria jogged towards the study table that Ronnie was already sitting at and drew back one of the chairs and say down beside her. She was in a better mood than she was before.
"Who shall we write to first?" she asked smiling.

"Aww gee. I don't know! How about father?" she asked smiling.

"Erm I think we should start with grandma and granddad." Plumeria suggested.

"Okay, good idea!" Ronnie said getting her parchment ready to write. "So, what do you wanna say?" she asked.

"Erm...I think we should start with telling them how much we miss them. And then we should tell them about how much we're enjoying being here...well, I will eventually," plumeria trailed off, knowing deep down that she would start to really enjoy the place. After all, there was nothing you couldn't like about Hogwarts. She was still just a bit nervous. "And then maybe you should mention about how desperate I am to get on the quidditch team!" She exclaimed, starting to giggle. Plumeria hastily began to rub at her eye-lids - reminding herself that she needed to go to sleep early that
night.

"Alright..." Ronnie said, began writing down in her scribbly handwriting....
Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
Hogwarts is great so far, we are missing you dearly. The feast was great, we had a lot of fun getting to know others and messing around. I (ronnie) actually slipped out of my seat! Plumeria has made a few friends, and really wants to get on the Quidditch team! Her and I are hoping that she will make it like great uncle Harry. Cross your fingers!

"How's that look?" Ronnie asked, handing the letter to Plumeria to read.

"That's great!" Plumeria answered, examining the letter and reading through it a couple of more times. "Lets go to the overly and post it."

"Okay! Let's go!" Ronnie said smiling.

Lilly saw Ronnie walking out of the room. "Hi!" she called out to him.

Lilly sat down, still giggling about her siters new boyfriend. She took all her books out of the bag and started reading. she wondered where Violet was. Probabally in the hufflepuff commom room.

'Lilly.' Rose said as she walked towards her. 'I've told Justin I just want to be friends. I-I only like him like a brother. Do you think I was a git?' Rose asked, her bottom lip trembling.

"N-no!" said Lilly, suprised. "Not at all! Why, Rose? I heard him in the treehouse earlier, telling a friend how happy he was with you."

'I KNOW!' Rose sobbed. 'I-I only like him as a friend. Remember William? I don't feel like I did with him with Justin!' Rose said sadly. 'I didn't want to hurt him. But I would've hurt him more if I had lied to him for lonng.' Rose told her.

"Well, never mind. You'll find someone better. You're nearly as attractive as me and Violet!" Lilly wondered what else to say.

'Yeah...' Rose smiled gratefully at her sister. 'Oi! I've had a boyfriend, have you?' Rose said evily. 'I need a hug...' Rose smiled as she hugged her sister.

"Eeww! Get off me! Don't blame me for not having a boyfriend! I think the creatures stink! Exept Ryan Pictor, and maybe Matthew Fowell."() Lilly replied, finally riggling out of the hug.

Ryan walked over to the study tables.He pulled out some parchment and a quill and began to write.

"Thanks, but I prefer to think of you as a sister." Matthew walked up behind Lilly. "Really? Ryan Pictor? You have good choices!"

Rose sighed. 'When you're older you'll comfort me. Like I will when you break up with someone.' she winked. 'OOOH! Do you and Violet like them?' Rose waggled her eyebrows.

"Violet's never shy. I bet she's found her hufflepuff prince by now! By the way, have you seen Violet recently?" Lilly asked curiously.
