Ryan walked into the bathroom to wash his hands he came out and met back out with his friends

It was in the afternoon, Jonathan just finished with his reading. Yes, he started reading for his upcoming OWLs. Oh well. He'll learn to like reading eventually. It has been months since he started to actually dwell in books. It was quite hard for him since he would usually just doze off and then wake up in the evening.

So right now, was break time. He went to the loo and wash his face. It has been a rather slow day for him. Once he got there, he went to one of the sinks. He looked at himself in the mirror and he took off his robes, putting them on the side so they wouldn't get wet.

While washing his face, he remembered about the transfiguration homework. The professor did say they need some practice. So Jonathan took out his wand. Not many people do come to the loo, especially to the boy's bathroom.

He pointed the wand in his head. "Ristaris" together with a tap. One tap for the spell to be activated. He snorted as he saw the results in the mirror. His hair is now red. He can't help but be amused by that. WHAT IS THIS????

He looked closely and tried fixing his hair, ruffling his bangs and laughed at himself. Hilarious! He looked funny as a blonde, now red?

He then tapped twice "Intaris!" concentrating as hard as possible. He opened his eyes and saw that YES, his hair is now back to brown. He beamed. His hair turned from blonde, to red and now to normal.

Cue dancing.

Eino needed a private place to practice the appearance altering transfiguration spells, and the bathroom was perfect because it had mirror, too. The boy's bathroom was only one floor away from the Ravenclaw Tower so it was very convenient. He entered the bathroom and there was someone dancing there was no one in sight. He walked towards one of the mirrors and placed his backpack on top of the sink. After he removed his textbook and wand, he tossed the backpack on the floor and leaned over the sink, closer to the mirror.

Adolescence had not been very kind to Eino. There was a huge pimple right on his chin, and another on his cheek. Not very flattering. Why couldn't he learn a spell to get rid of them? He flung the book open and flipped through the pages until he found the spells he was supposed to practice. First, it he had to change the length and style of his hair. He turned side to side, to have a better look at all of his hair, his white-ish, thin, straight hair, then concentrated and tapped the top of his head and uttered the incantation. "Felintas." He watched as his hair began to grow thicker and longer, then it began to curl from the roots to the ends. When it was done, his hair was still the same color, but as he ran his fingers through it he could feel it was much thicker. He jumped up and down a few times to watch his new curls bounce around, then shook his head. He liked his old hair better.

Next, he had to change the color. He flipped through the book pages a second time and found the color changing spell for both the eyes and hair. First, he would try the eyes. He bought his wand to the top of his head, and tapped it a second time. "Ristaris." Almost immediately his hair began to change from white to red, bright red, candy apple red. When it was done, he checked himself out in the mirror and he thought he looked strange. He took one of the red curls and stretched it, to see just how long his hair had grown. It was about twice as long as before, but when it was curled it was impossible to notice the grown. Eino released the curl and it bounced back, then he brushed his hair with his fingers. Finally, he put his book inside his backpack, wand in his pocket, backpack over the shoulder, and exited the bathroom, with his new red curls bouncing.

Going back to Hogwarts for the rest of the term seems more tensed than ever. He had to face the facts that OWLs were getting nearer and nearer by the day. Now, only if he had the strength to study. Jonathan is just too lazy to get up and read a book. He has been to the library once and that was last year when Jeanne tutored him.

After spending the day in the cold winter pathways, Jonathan decided to go to the loo and wash his hands or maybe wash his face. It was freezing cold outside, well, after that he met Kurumi.

He went inside the bathroom and quickly went to one of the sinks. He looked at his reflection and fixed his scarf. Then he started to wash his hands.

Practically kicking the door open, Josh walked in the Boys' Bathroom with hurry as he needed to wash...this thing off his hand before it leaked in the open wound there. Evil owl kept biting him all the time and now not only she had bitten his forefinger off but also she had pooed on it.

Quickly, putting his hand under water, it was only when the wound was cleaned that he had realised the...Slytherin boy there. And of course upon seeing him, a smirk appeared on the lion boy's face for he had had plans for this particular person. ''Well...well...well...'' so he said still smirking and taking a few steps closer to the boy as he covered wound with the end of his shirt. ''Look who is here. Mister Kim. Is not it? What a pleasure!''

*grin*

Jonathan who was still washing his hands heard footsteps. At first, he didn't mind who came in. Why would he? It's a free world, and this is a public place of course. He kept washing his hands and then after doing so, he fixed his hair.

Then suddenly, this guy called his attention. MR. KIM??? For a second there, he thought of his father. Well, Jonathan wasn't normally called by that. He looked to seem the guy was JOSH. He gave a slight bow to him but his face looked confused. "Hello Mister Carter..." he replied. That was his last name right? Are they calling each other by their last names now?

"Pleasure meeting you as well" he grinned. Well truly this is a surprise.

Of course it was a pleasure to meet him. Josh was not surprised to hear that. He was The King of Gryffindors and Master of Everything, after all. However, that was not important. What was important, right now, was what he had in mind for this particular snake boy. Hopefully, he was a lucky one compared to the snake Joao, aka the boy with a million names, for Josh was thinking of beating this one down to the ground...

...yet.

''So, how are the days going in the snakes' common room?'' It should not have been so difficult since they had the hot chicks there. On the other hand, he knew this dude was sweets for no female snake...which was why he was slightly in trouble right now. Because he had an idea about for whom he was oh-so-sweets.

Looking at the mirror next to him, Josh ran a hand through his dark hair before staring at the scar on his face some. ''It seriously looks like i need to look at mirrors more frequently huh?''

And the answer to that question was probably...going to determine the boy's fate.

Mwahahahha...

Jonathan looked more confused right now. Why was he asking about their common rooms? There's not much activity been going on around the common room. In fact ever since winter came, it has been the most freezing place in the castle. Jonathan was close enough to set up his bed next to the fire place. But then again, that would make Lafay hate him. And we don't want that to happen now, don't we.

He looked at Josh. "Uhmmm..." he paused. "Are you trying to ask how Evelyn's doing?" he smiled. Well, that could be the reason why he is asking him right. He wants to know how Evelyn's doing right? Right? Jonathan hasn't seen her around that much except during classes though. Jonathan doesn't even make eye contact. Secretly, Evelyn scared him a lot.

Jonathan turned to look at himself in the mirror and then looked at Josh again. "Nahh." he replied. "You look just fine" he smiled. Well, Jonathan was more of the OCD type. He likes to be prim and proper most of the time. True, he looks just fine.

Had he heard THAT right?!

An annoyed look with a deep glare forming itself on his face, Josh teared his gaze away from his own reflection in the mirror and stared at the Slytherin boy.

Seriously?

''Do.I.Look.Like.I.Need.Intelligence.Agents.To.Kno w.How.My.Girlfriend.Is.Doing!!!???''

Yet, though he was annoyed at the question, he needed to refrain of doing anything wrong now since...the boy seemed to be a good one so far. Plus he did not want to upset a certain princess by beating the young man who was sweets with her for no concrete reason.

Whatever...

He had to ignore this, for the sake of the boy's neck, and find out if what he had in mind was true after all. So...well...

''So, dude, is it true?''

Whoah! Calm down...

He just thought that he's asking him about the common rooms because he wanted to know what his girlfriend was up to. Well, no more arguments there. "Sorry. I thought you were asking---" he paused, he doesn't need to explain himself that much since he might make him more mad. But seriously though, chill.

Jonathan took a deep breath and washed his face. The winter season made his skin dry. eeeeekkkk. He thought, Josh had already left when suddenly out of nowhere he asked another random question. Jonathan cocked an eyebrow. Was he missing a thing going on around school?

"True about what?" he asked. What was he talking about anyway?

He was sorry?

Well...he had better be becaue Josh Carter thought he always very well knew what was up with his girlfriend. Well...at least in general. It was true that she was sometimes utterly unpredictable but at least he was sure that he knew her well enough after all those years. The boy had no idea, though, apparently. How could he know? So ''It's fine.'' he said. ''I tend to be...sensitive about the people i care for.'' Yes, that had been mostly how he became sensitive over something.

It was not hard to forget about that little mistake anyway as the Slytherin boy's next words made Josh smirk again. As he washed his face, for whatever reason only Merlin knew, the Gryffindor looked back at the wound on his finger which apparently had started to bleed again and ruined his only clean shirt left. Ugh. The professors would have no trouble with it if he had walked into the next class with a slightly blood-dirty shirt, right?

Whatever...

''You know what i am talking about. The girl. The Princess. The lioness. The prefect. Have those sounded any familiar to you?''

Oh so that's why. Here he thought he was the kind of guy that didn't like to be asked... or something like that. That's nice though, being sensitive to the ones he cared for. That was rather a rare trait to some. "That's nice" he nodded. Oh and before he forgets, "I'm Jonathan by the way" in case that he knows him by Mister Kim and Mister Kim alone. Jonathan doesn't like being called too formally. So his first name will just do.

Jonathan froze and slowly turned his head to his direction. "K-kurumi?" he asked. "What happened?" was there something wrong? Is it true about what? GLUP. Unless.........

...he knows about him liking her. Now this would just be awkward right? Jonathan hasn't really talked to anyone about Kurumi before.

Hehehe...

Sure.

Smiling some, Josh eyed the wound again before turning back to the nicest Slytherin boy he had ever seen. There was Salander too but...he had had issues with him as well. He could still remember the day that he-snake tried to hit on Evelyn during a Potions Class resulting and forcing Josh Carter himself to throw a huge cauldron at his head.

*ahem*

Okay. He, again, was not the topic here right now so he avoided commenting on that being nice, focusing on the Kurumi part instead. ''Nice to know you know her name.'' the Gryffindor joked leaning against the wall between two sinks and mirrors. Huh? He was asking if something had happened. ''Well...you have the news Jon Jon. You tell me. Has something happened...recently? Something important?''

Jonathan laughed. Of course he knows her name. That was a joke right? Jonathan stopped whatever he is doing for awhile and focused to him. Okay, this is quite interesting. Were they going to talk about Kurumi? Or does this involve him as well because if it does, then there's the door, he could easily escape.

JON JON?! Another one. Apparently his nickname among seventh years is Jon Jon. Awesome. Just simply... awesome. Sigh! Why did Marilyn and Cassie have to make that nickname?

Wait.
Did he just say news? Kurumi told him? Jonathan felt like he is at the courtroom at the ministry of magic, and he was the investigator. Scary. Right now, Jonathan feels like his jaw is about to drop on the floor. "S-something h-happened?" he stuttered. And to add to that it's 'something important'.

He scratched the back of his neck, he seemed speechless right now. What was he suppose to say anyway? "I-I confessed to Kurumi?" he replied. Was that what he wanted to hear because frankly speaking, that is what really happened recently. UNLESS, Kurumi told him more.

Was the snake boy...getting nervous or something?

Hehehehehehehe...

Josh could not help but smirk wider and wider at the boy's reactions, words and expression. At the boy in general. This sooo proved that there really had been something going on between him and the Pretty Prefect Princess and Jon Jon had just given himself away. Josh had only pure guesses, to be honest, until the Slytherin mentioned confessing to Kurumi himself.

Mwahahaha. Maybe he was no Ravenclaw or Slytherin but this Gryffindor at least had half of his brain. He ignored the fact that he was more of a physical being rather than rational for now

''So you confessed to her'' he repeated, the smirk widening some more. Then he pushed himself off the wall. ''Now that is some news.'' And yes, he was interested in that , not because he was the kind that liked the gossip of course, but because he considered it his duty to protect the lioness prefect princess. ''And...tell me more, Jon Jon, how did she react to that?''

CRAP.

Did Jonathan just give that one away? He should have asked him about what he knew in the first place instead of giving him the exact answers. So Kurumi hasn't told him yet. Heck, he just knew because of him. How could Jonathan just easily have said that? Perhaps, for once, he was too confident Kurumi told him. The two seemed very close.

Jonathan looked more tensed after telling him that. Yeah, he definitely is an investigator. He should join the MLE. He'll fit so well there.

Jonathan nodded his head in confirming that yes he did confess. And of course, the follow up question. Now that was even more awkward than the first question. For awhile Jonathan didn't answer that question, instead, he just smiled. Should that be enough for an answer? "You should ask her." he grinned.

Please. NO MORE QUESTIONS. Jonathan bit his lower lip.

And...ha...Josh was wondering when the boy was going to start doing that. Like get more confident with himself and attempt to counterattack. Too bad he did not know, the Gryffindor was already expecting it for he knew Slytherins so well. Of course, sooner or later the nice he-snake, still being a he-snake, would try to get rid of him using his oh-so-cunning-ness.

''There is no doubt i'll ask her something.'' his voice was neutral this time and had no emotion in it. ''But it won't be that.'' and the tone remained that way until he moved towards the door, closed and leaned against it. Now there was no way out for disobedient snakes.

''Answer me!''

Now, the narrowed dark brown eyes were fixed on the Slytherin's face. Would he dare a challenge?

Jonathan still smiled at him.... teasing smile to be exact. This really made him want to laugh but he tried to hold it in. Josh still wants a firm answer even after Jonathan's reaction. Must be a Gryffindor thing, no?

Jonathan looked at the floor. Well, this shouldn't be that hard if he just answered the seventh year already but then again, it wouldn't be fun at all. Besides he seems to like asking him questions. Why not?! "You don't give up do you?" he laughed.

W-w-w-w-w-wait! Rephrase his sentence... ASK HER SOMETHING ELSE?

Jonathan's smile turned into a straight line. What does that mean? "She confessed the same thing" he couldn't hold it in and laughed softly. Was this part of his OWLs?

Now what kind of a question was that?

Josh could not tell exactly what kind it was and did not know why the Slytherin Jon Jon felt like asking so yet it was definitely something that someone who did not know him well would ask. Because Josh Carter never gave up. Never ever. ''Do i look like i do?'' He could even suggest that he did not know what 'giving up' meant. Hehehe.

Crossing his arms, he kept leaning against the door as he stared up at the ceiling. Hmm..what if...

Hey! Wait what?

''She confessed the same thing too?''

That meant then she was interested in the boy, as well, which kind of guaranteed him a safe exit from the bathroom. Because if he had been attempting to flirt the girl and it had been annoying her, being her protector Josh would make Jon Jon's head a decoration to the sinks or toilets there.

Smiling at the idea though, the Gryffindor nodded in understanding. ''Soooo...now you two are love birds, huh?''

Were they?

''You know what that means? If you happen to break her heart, i will happen to break your face. That simple. Got it?''

Okay so maybe that was a wrong question to ask a gryffindor, especially when he is already on his seventh year. But it was more of a rhetorical question. Of course Jonathan knows that Josh wouldn't give up unraveling this. After all Kurumi is his little princess.

Up to this time, Jonathan has been eyeing the door but after he saw Josh leaning against the door his thoughts of escape was an epic fail. What was he thinking anyway? He's not responding as much, Jonathan is dying to know what else he would ask.

Then as he finally spoke... Jonathan gave a small nod. Was he surprised that Kurumi liked him back or maybe Kurumi has never mentioned him to Josh yet. Jonathan took his handkerchief and wiped his hands with it.

Love birds?

Jonathan smiled. "I don't know." he shrugged. Okay, it's not his fault he doesn't know. "Kurumi's quite unsure?" about the whole relationship stuff. His tone is rather confused. Jonathan couldn't really say it officially.

WHOAH! WHOAH! WHOAH!

Jonathan's eyes widened. Did he just hear that one correctly. GULP. Is he suddenly in danger? Nonetheless, "got it" Jonathan said with a straight face. OF course, he wouldn't. But he has to admit, that scared him. Josh is---- physically fit.
