But he was already making new Gryffindor friends, making him happy he landed in this house since people seemed really nice so far. "Hello Nathan, I'm August a third year here in Gryffindor." he said pausing, deciding not to mention his lack of magic in his family unless asked. He continued to look around the enchanted hall, checking out the ceiling, floating candles and sea of kids roaming around the four long tables. Quote:

Anyone! Send me a VM if you reply please<3 Brooklyn slid into an empty spot along the Gryffindor table. So, this was the house she'd be spending the next few years in. How.. interesting. The previously home-schooled girl grinned broadly as her bright blue eyes wandered the large hall, trying to spot a familiar face, but failing miserably. Sigh. Allowing her mind to wander a bit more, she wondered what houses Bailey, Nick and Paulie got into seeing as they hadn't gone to Hogwarts before either. CRINGE. There were OWLS. Flying ABOVE HER. EEEEEEEEEEEEE. She did not like this. Not one bit. She picked up a fork, ready to defend herself if any of those stupid birds decided to approach her. But of course, not until after she picked it up did she notice just how dirty and disgusting it was. EWWWW. |

She loved quidditch more than most things in life, but she was already worried that she wouldn't make the team. After all, her Great-Uncle Harry was the only person she knew who made the team in his first year. |

Then Carter realized that the boy was saying his name. "I'm Carter Phillips." he said introducing himself. "Welcome to Gryffindor." He looked down at the silverware again. "Really?" he asked. "I didn't know that they could do that." Not that he knew much about house elves anyway. He'd only ever seen the Hogwarts house elves. |

Muggle school..the thought of muggle schools didn't bring many good memories for Ness. She used to go to a muggle school herself when she was younger. Her parents made her go to one even though they knew about magic way before she was born. She didn't fit in too well with muggles it just wasn't her thing."Nice to meet you too August" she said smiling as she shook his hand back."I used to go to a muggle school too but that was quite a while ago." She wasn't too surprised he was a third year he did look older."So you happy with the house you got?" She asked. She gussed he was in Griffindor because he was after all sitting at the Griffindor table. |

He smiled. "Well, if you really want to hear it... I just found out that my ex wants to get back together... at least, she did, I'm not sure if she still does... anyway, I'm pretty sure it's something that she didn't want me to find out." he said letting out a sigh. "And things just started to feel normal again between us." "Carter. Carter Phillips." he said introducing himself. Quote:
"I've been fiddling with my badge all day... I kind of forgot it wasn't there anymore..." he explained. "I'm the new Quidditch Captain." he clarified. He might as well get used to saying that. |
Cove skipped into the great hall abd took a seat looking around to see if she saw anyone she knew. There was Emily, but she was talking to others. Cove looked to see if Dani was around the table. Cove was tired and hungry and her glasses were too loose. Where was Dani when you needed her? |

"Oh no! Did you lose it?" she asked him, not really knowing the significance of badges, but obviously it had to be something important. Then, he continued and it made a bit more sense. She had only seen Quidditch once, and her mother had explained it so she knew the basics of it. And it looked quiet difficult to her. "Wow, really?" she asked him, her eyes wide. "Congratulations! Are you excited?" she asked him, propping her chin on her hands as she waited for his answer. |

The only thing that snapped her out of her current state of fear was the call of her name. Her head whipped toward the voice, noticing the familiar face. All thoughts of birds aside, the blond beamed. It was Paulie. PAULIE. "Paulie!" She said excitedly, loosening her grip on the fork for a moment before getting up to side beside him. "You're in Gryffindor too?" BEAM. That was kind of a stupid question, but she really didn't care right now. |

Okay, scratch that. Adam's back was staring right at her and she made a run for it, ignoring the fact that he was already seated around some students and slammed into his back her hands on his shoulder as she craned her neck forward, "YOU'RE A GRYFFINDOR!" You know, pointing out the obvious and being too happy to hide her reluctance at the 'other issue' that was invading her mind. Without a permission, she crammed herself between him and another student and sat down. Hopefully that person wouldn't do a fuss about it, it wasn't like she needed that much of space anyways. "Although I preferred Ravenclaw. It's fine. You look great in red and gold." She giggled and shook her head at her silliness. Staring at the usual wooden table, usual sets of food tools that were... O__o Huh? Why did Gryffindors have rusty tools? Her laugh was stopped abruptly as she examined a spoon, "Why do they give you rusty spoons and forks?" She hadn't sat at their table yet but she was sure they had clean and neat ones every year. If she was free to go and check out on their own spoons and stuff, she would've gotten up and done that but... the he & she were probably around and Louisa was determined to keep her mood alive and good. |

"Oh yes, I'm really excited for Hogsmede, my brother used to bring back candy when he went to Hogwrts for me and my younger siblings! It was delicious!" Sage said remembering the yummy candy she still had hidden inside her pillow back home, "I absolutly love Quidditch, best sport in the world! I've also seen a bit of futbol when I went to visit my Grandad, but I've never heard of those other sports. I also like playing Exploding Snap, but Wizard Chess gets a little boring for me." Quote:
"Hungry?" Sage asked handing Emily a napkin, " It's very good food. So, are you Muggleborn?" |

Munching on a jacket potato, she smiled at the boy, glad to have someone from a muggle background as well. "Thank heavens we're here now though, right? Muggle school just seemed so slow!" She carried on eating for a while, then suddenly remembered: "Oh sorry! I'm Emily by the way.." Quote:
"Yes I am muggleborn, but my brother is a wizard too, so the whole wizarding thing didn't come as much of a surprise. What about you?" Quote:

And nerve-wracking. It was a bit of that too. He smiled. "Definitely quidditch." he said with a warm smile. Quidditch had really been the thing that kept him going. "I've been playing since I was a first year." "Is there anything you're looking forward to?" he asked. "I hadn't heard much about Hogwarts before I came, so everything was... new and exciting my first year. In fact, I still learn new things all the time about magic." Kurumi first Selina second He stood there,a smug expression etched over his face, with his arms crossed as he swayed in spot leaning back in what he assumed to be a cool posture, but in reality it made him look like a twat. After hearing what Kurumi had to say first he responded with a shrug of his shoulders an said calmly," No game..It's just me.That's my outlook on life right now." When she then showed him her finger an how the ring wasn't there anymore he hadn't actually expected her to not take it off.She had done so one time an it was no different this time.He had left her to a whole new world, whole new girl, which he imagined CeCe an Kurumi not getting on at all.It didn't surprise him because in all honesty, she wouldn't have kept it all the time. Then he began to wonder when she had taken it off.The start of the term he wasn't there anymore or a little bit afterwards when a few months or weeks came by an it hit her that he wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.Had she kept it just to try an remember him? Don't give me that..." He said once again annoyed with her.Hadn't he always been that way so why was she just speaking about it now. You've always known I've been selfish..Look at how many times I've hurt you..It took this long or were you just waiting for the right moment to say it?" Then he turned to face Selina whom compared to Kurumi, was enraged rather than mad at him.She really looked like she could spit fire in his face an she wouldn't care about the burning sensation that would pierce his skin. He stood there silently, letting her talk.Besides,he wouldn't be able to interrupt because in all reality his voice would be drowned out by her's . An now you're 13 an she's 14.You guys have gotten yourself a little bit more fierce haven't you.But I know this time I can't give you guys a fake sob story, because you're smarter than that. Both of you.It just took some years..There's no way I can weasel myself out of this one an I knew that since I got her... It's a good thing we're not exactly blood siblings..Besides you told me you wanted to be my sister..Actually,you got to know how I am,was, hotheaded, you saw all the bad things I did while we were both here at Hogwarts..So,partly it's your fault for getting hurt by me..I bet you if you hadn't wanted to be my 'sister' than you would be slightly less mad at me.."He shot back at her,his cheeks turning blood red. |

Lions, Caroline is here anyone? VM me! :D Caroline decided that she go sit around with some of the Gryffindors. Maybe she'd make a few new friends, chat with some old ones, and annoy some first years. She had had stayed away from the Gryffindor table at the end of term feast. But it was the first table she went to after leaving her own. It was first place she wanted to go, of course. She just hopped that things would get to weird with what happened on the train, and over the summer. All she knew was that she really needed to think, about a lot things. She did enjoy spending a bit of time with Carter on the train. It had all felt surreal like nothing in the past few months had changed. But they had, a lot. She was kind of seeing someone else. And he had spent the whole summer with her cousin Mariyln which she didn't find out about until after she and Carter's little run it by the food trolley. But what could she say she didn't have much room to talk, she'd spent most of the summer with Jai. She found a place to sit looked around there were actually a lot of new or first year Gryffindors this term, mostly younger ones. She sat down with a sigh. Still a bit annoyed over having to clean her own silverware. What it the name of Merlin did the house elves do all summer? Apparently not polishing the silverware. She had hers that she had cleaned by herself in her pocket no way she was letting these babies out of her sight. What did those house elves do? Take a vacation over the summer. Caroline got this mental picture of house elves on a beach chair with sunglasses sipping a drink with a toothpick unbrella. She laughed to herself. |

And another new lion, this one looked like a nervous first year, so Kurumi charmed one of the dancing cookies above the table to dance right in front of his face before going over to greet him herself. "Welcome to Gryffindor," she smiled with a bow. "My name is Kurumi, one of your prefects. If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask myself or Jai, the other Gryffindor prefect. I am sure he will be along soon."[/QUOTE] "Thanks," Aaron replied shyly. He thought about the girl he met on the train, mabey he'd see her again. He was glad to know that someone was helpful and kind to him. He glanced around the great hall at the other tables. The Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tables had students that looked simmilar to Gryffindor, but the Slytherin table was giving unfriendly looks to the Gryffindors. |
SPOILER!!: Louisa <3 Adam was about to take another sip of his water when he felt two hands slam rather forcefully into the back of his shoulders. The motion jumbled the goblet in his hand, the water within pouring out onto the table. Turning to look, but already knowing there was only one person that he'd met that showed this much enthusiasm, Adam gave Louisa a little smile. "Yes, that I am," Adam said with a chuckle, moving over slightly so that there was room for Louisa to fit in. He hoped that Paulie didn't mind, but honestly Louisa didn't really take up much space on the bench. "Yeah...it looks like I won't be seeing the Ravenclaw Common Room after all," Adam said with a little frown. From what he heard people weren't allowed in the common rooms of houses that weren't their own. "I just hope you'll still be willing to associate yourself with a Gryffindor," Adam said, in a mock-concerned way. Upon Louisa's comments about the silverware Adam picked up his spoon and looked at it. "I believe the word is rustic," Adam said with a little chuckle. "Perhaps they're just trying to make us feel like we're living in the castle during the time when it was first built and they used...rusty spoons," Adam said, setting the spoon down and giving Louisa a little smirk. Adam noted a vibe in Louisa that made him feel like maybe she was avoiding the Ravenclaw table. "So...um...how are you doing?" Adam asked, lowering his voice incase she wanted to talk and didn't want all these random people overhearing. "Have you run into the pair yet?" |

"Oh Hobbies? Well I really enjoy reading, and riding my bike with my friend Peter." he sighed, he hadn't forgotten about his friend, who was a Muggle and wouldn't be joining him for this school year like they had every single year since Kindergarden. But he had promised he would write to him. "I also really enjoy football or soccer, whichever you call it." he chuckled continuing to look around the massive hall. Quote:
"So what year are you?" he was definately older, it would be good to be friends with an older kid in his house just in case he was ever lost, needed help, or.....couldn't find a lavatory. Quote:
"Oh..." Auggie was about to ask if she was a Muggleborn too but kind of figured she wasn't, the way she said it had been a long time ago, as if her parents didn't make her continue to go for some reason, she was younger than him. "Umm I think so. I got Gryffindor but I really don't know much about the houses to be honest." At that moment he noticed the yellow and black on her school robes badge and tie and spoke excitedly. "Oh you are a Hufflepuff?! A met a girl in the bookshop named Sierra....uhh...Greingoth, that said I would make a perfect Hufflepuff!" he of course didn't get the negative connotation the snake had been implying about the house of the kindly badgers. Quote:
He followed her eyes back to the silverware, the center of this feast's attention it seemed. "Well it's good to hear that it's not a common theme for here." he chuckled nervously, if it was his mother would surely have a panic attack and send for him to come back home. "Scorgify, really?" She mentioned this Scourgify and turned his head looking around the room. "Is he one of the Professors?" the boy asked pointing towards the Staff table. "Which one is he?" |

"Certainly m'lady," he said taking the knife from her and handing her the spoon in exchange. "Scorgify!" he cast on the knife this time it came out better so the boy placed it back on the table near his companion. Maybe now the other Gryffindor boy would understand what Kurumi meant by the word. "Guess some might need both or a double dose." |
Quote:
Finally, after scanning the sea of red an gold colored robes he spotted one set of robes that stuck out from the others.A silver an green one.At first he hoped it wasn't that girl..But,as he strode closer he realized it wasn't,but rather Caroline. lumping you all together <3 and I will be gone for a while :( SPOILER!!: The Cleaning Brigade! Nodding to the second year as she set to helping, Kurumi's attention was back on the boy. "Nice to meet you too, August," she nodded. She had the urge to ask him if he had been born in the month of August, but Kurumi wasn't sure she wanted to know if there was another reason for it. Maybe get into the too much information zone? Kurumi found herself blinking. Professor Scourgify? Well, she didn't know everyone at the staff table, so she supposed that it WAS possible to share a name with the Cleaning Spell. Hopefully, if that was the case, it wasn't an ironic one and they were a complete slob. "Not...exactly," Kurumi giggled. "Scourify is a spell. It cleans things, but itsn't too good against liquids. There is another spell for that." But this probably wasn't making much sense to him. "You...aren't too familiar with magic, are you?" That much was obvious, and it was adorable. "Don't worry, I didn't know anything when I came." She picked up a plate with...erm...something on it. "Want to give it a try? The plate can't get any worse than it already is." In fact, even if it broke in half that would be an improvement. Then her attention turned to Gideon as he cast the spell to clean the eating utensil in her hand. Her cheeks flushed. M'lady? Kurumi's cheeks burned a bit brighter repeating the word in her head. "Y-Y-Yeah..." she said, looking back at the state of the Gryffindor table. At least they were making a small dent in the disaster, right? |
anyone? (: Adelyn wandered over to the Gryffindor table, ready to join her House once again for the start of the year feast. She looked around, trying to spot someone that she knew, or hoping to meet some new people. After not finding anyone, she found an empty seat on the bench, and sat down, looking around for someone to talk to. |
The closer she got to the Gryffindor table, the less she saw of Paulie. Or what she had thought she had seen of him. Frowning as she lost sight of her Lemonade Knight completely, Tori dropped onto the nearest open bench with a sigh. "So the silverware's dirty over here too, huh," she sniffled a little, picking up a fork and dropping it back onto the table with a clatter. "Laaaaaaaaaame." |
