Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

A minute went by and nothing happened. "Oh well worth a try.." he said while blushing. "Well then... what would you like to talk about" as he got up off her shoulder so he wouldn't fall asleep, Kurumi always gave him good advice, for he did feel like he wanted to crash right there. but he doubted that she would let him sleep.

I mean, you have been here a lot longer than the previous time I asked..." and she was blushing at her rambling. " I mean, erm, find anything that has really tickled your fancy?" For her, it had been the kitchens.

First year Gryffindor Kourtney Lams walked slowly into the common room from her dormitory upstairs. All homework had been completed except for one. Ancient Runes. And she didn't have the foggiest clue as to how to begin. She had participated in class, of course, but she wasn't very clear on what....exactly was required for the assignment. Perhaps someone else could help? An older student who knew the subject matter better? Like Kurumi, for instance. She always did well in class and Kourtney was certain that she was one of the top point earners in the school.
With a sigh, she sank into a chair, clutching a parchment in her hands. What to do...what to do....?
