" I don't know she looked at me funny. Like she liked me or something? "

Well, Mia did have a point there.

A Bertie bean did last longer than a spoonful of ice cream, especially if you were the chewing type. But, Destiny didn't even know why she had said a spoonful in the first place. Everyone knew that you can't just eat a spoonful of ice cream! It was either the whole bowl or none at all. There were rules for everything. Sighing, and deciding that she wasn't going to say anymore about it, she didn't like to be proved wrong after all, she asked the question that she knew was on everyone's mind. "Do you think trolls eat their own bogies?" Unless trolls eat people bogies.

It was all disgusting.

Mia agreed awfully fast to the bet, but it was definitely a good thing. Destiny already knew what she was going to get if she won. It didn't matter what Mia wanted, she was going to lose anyway. "If I win." she began, dropping her friend's hand after they shook. "When we go to the Amazon." Now Mia knew they were going. "You will let me 'borrow' an animal from there." And they already shook on it!

And yes this conversation was just getting weirder and weirder. Now they were going to talk about trolls eating their own bogies. "Probably. They are said to be stupid." What did that make her then? She ate bogie flavoured beans.

There was something wrong with her.

Wait! They were going to the Amazon? When did this happen? Mia had been sure that Destiny knew that she was just kidding around when she had said that. She was a newly married women. She didn't want to go running off to the Amazon with a couple of her crazy friends. She assumed that Carter was coming on this trip as well. Maybe she could talk Nik, into coming as well.

"Fine. And if I win." Hmmm, what should she ask for? "You have to get a tattoo." She grinned. "The muggle way."

Yuck.

Destiny pulled a face. She didn't know what was worse. The fact that Mia thought the trolls did eat their own bogies, or the fact that she could just imagine a troll doing it. She shuttered, "Do you think a troll would be offended if we asked them if they do it?" Or perhaps they could just go and spy on a group of trolls. If they were as stupid as everyone said they are, they wouldn't even know they were being spied on! Destiny made a mental note to look for trolls in Fiji. She was sure there were some there.

The look on her friend's face made her grin. She could tell just how excited she was to be going to the Amazon with her. They would discuss the details, like when they are leaving, at the party. That way they wouldn't have to repeat themselves to Carter. If he was still going.

"Seriously?" Of all the things Mia could make her do if she lost, she picked getting a tattoo? Was she NOT there in Africa with her? Did she NOT know that she wanted a tattoo already? Not that she was going to get one, she was sure she was going to win. "Fine. A tattoo the muggle way. Do I get to pick what it is, though?"

Really? Was her friend that crazy? "Destiny, I don't really care if they get offended or not. I'm not about to get anywhere near one to find out." Surely the Slytherin had seen how big one of those things were. Or at least read about how big they are. And yeah sure she was better at magic now but damn if she was going to put it to the test against a troll.

Oh Mia knew very well that Destiny wanted a tattoo. She had been with her on that safari after all. A small chuckle escaped her lips. "Oh no. If I win then it's my terms. I'll pick the tattoo."

Maybe something sensible since the girl seemed to like oddball things.

"So what are your plans now that school is over?" Was she still going to open a zoo?

"Well that's fine with me. I have hardly ever met an animal I didn't love," she said with a giggle as she began to pet the kneazle by his ears and under his chin.

"Well Wasabi does that, too. Really lovely to me... it's others she has a problem with. There is a reason she is my familiar after all," the girl said with a grin. Really-- Lexi had never been the most pleasant person when it came to dealing with others.

Cameras to capture the magic..."Will that really WORK? I mean... can cameras capture things other than pictures?" Lexi asked earnestly. THIS she needed to know. Waving off her own question she smiled. "Sal got one of those Muggle contraptions that makes... wizarding pictures... well not really Wizarding pictures... they MOVE, but they capture sound, too. What are they called?" Really she had no idea whatsoever.

Well that was indeed it, though. "I am going off to travel for a while and then I plan to work for the Ministry... and possibly even go to live out of the country. Stradivarius' family lives in the United States... I just don't like change too awful much. I hope maybe I can travel, travel, travel and keep my mind off of it all," she said with a shrug. THAT would fail. She was sure of it.

Ohh, what happened to Mia!?

Now that she was married, she didn't want to go and talk to trolls!? Not that Destiny knew if she wanted to talk to trolls before then, but she was sure this whole married life was changing her. She didn't like it, and if she ever saw that husband of hers, she was going to give him a piece of her mind! Hopefully she had a while before she saw him, though, she had no idea what she would to say to him. "Fine. I'll find out myself." And if she survived, she would let Mia know.

Whaaat? Destiny didn't want Mia to pick out her tattoo! She was going to pick something boring! Something like..not a giraffe! But she couldn't whine about it like she wanted to, she had already shook her friend's hand. Next time, because she was sure there would be a next time, they would state their conditions before shaking. She didn't think sometimes. "It better not be something HUGE. And pink. And..ugly." And, she learned, face tattoos were not awesome.

She didn't want one of them either.

But she forgot to mention that part once the question about what she was doing now that school was over was brought up. "I am going to Fiji to work at the fire-crab reserve!" Which she was very excited for. "Are you still going to travel?" She could visit!

Oh Destiny was so trying to guilt trip her. The two of them may argue over ridiculous things but Mia cared about her friend a great deal and even though she wasn't exactly brave or great with magic, she would go with her on her crazy expeditions to keep her out of trouble. "Destiny." she groaned softly. "You keep dragging me into these crazy schemes of yours and I won't be able to name my kids after you." Because either Nik would kill her or Destiny's craziness would.

Mia raised an eyebrow and a small smirk appeared on her face. "Keep talking D. You are giving me some really good ideas of what kind of tattoo to get you." Something like a big, pink flower. Or maybe a nice bright rainbow with a peace sign. Bwhaha!

"Oooh that sounds really cool." She wasn't sure about the fire crabs but working in Fiji would be awesome. The place was so beautiful. "Yep that's the plan. Not sure for how long though. Probably until we get sick of it, I guess." She couldn't see that happening anytime too soon.

"So when did you apply for this job?"

Was that a YES, Mia was going to go with her!? It sure sounded like it was, and Destiny BEAMED. Not only were they going to go to the Amazon, they were going to go troll searching. Maybe they could find a troll in the Amazon! She was sure there had to be some there. "Don't worry about it." she drawled. "It's not like we have to get close to the trolls. We'll study them from afar." Her friend would be safe and there would be a baby named after her still. It was like one of those win-win situations!

Somehow.

Clasping her hands over her mouth, Destiny shook her head. No, no no, nonono! She was not going to keep talking, and she was definitely not going to give her any more ideas. It was a good thing she didn't mention the face tattoo. That's probably where she would make her get it! Slowly removing her hands from her mouth, she shook her head once more. "No." And that was all she was going to say about that!

Well, technically it sounded hot, not cool. Fire-crabs did shoot fire out of their butts after all. Bwaha! But, understanding what Mia was saying, she nodded her head. She was very excited. Although, she would be more excited if she got to travel. "How could you get tired of traveling!? There are so many places to see!" Meh, maybe she should have thought about traveling a little. Nah!

"It was over the summer, when I got my OWL scores back. I didn't really think I would get it!"

Harvey spun on his heels "She looked at YOU funny? she cant like you, she likes me.. me her boyfrie..." he then stopped.. but then he was the same he like someone else too and badly.. hre turned to where Minnie left.. that kiss told him how badly he needed her.. but she was not sure about herself.. until then he had Ronnie to stop him from going mad like before.. if they hadnt started dating he would have definitely gone mad thinking about Minnie.. He then turned to Justin "Maybe she looked at you as a friend and you are mis-reading it.." he said.. it could be he mis-read her face..

As Sky made her away up the corridor to the food trolley, her mind was million miles away. She was thinking about what this summer would bring and how much fun she was going to have. Granted, it was the first time she'd be staying longer than a few days in London. She was going to be staying with her aunt there for most of August. Needless to say, she was so focused on that, that she wasn't watching where she was going. So she tripped. "Agh!" she exclaimed as she tried to get her balance back. She was unsuccessful and fell to the floor.

Miss Puff prefect grinned. There was something they would always agree on. She had never met an animal or creature that she didn't absolutely adore. And she'd met a lot.

"Altair is only cute with it when she's being affectionate." Which she could be, but the silly bird was also a bit proud and get riled up when she didn't have her way. "Perseus is my familiar." She inclined her head to the gray tabby kneazle in Lexi's arms who was perfectly content with the attention he was receiving. "A lot more playful than my other magical pets."

"More a visual memory than actual capturing of magic. I tend to relive that moment whenever I see the pictures and remember the fun that was had there." There was a reason she had so many, and always a few by her bed at Hogwarts. To remember. She bit her lip to keep from laughing at Lexi's description of a muggle device. "A video camera. They're fun to have too."

Arya moved forward in the line, pulling her small purse out of her pocket to get the coins she'd need when she reached the trolley. "The British Ministry?" Sabel's Ministry? "That could be interesting. What will you do there?" She nodded her head a bit to the travel part. "I love to travel too. Sometimes I think I'm always traveling over holidays." Was it her fault everyone she loved was so spread out?

How was it that Destiny could manage to talk her into these crazy schemes? Where was Evelyn? She was the Slytherin's best friend. Why wasn't she here volunteering to go on these expeditions? Or Marie even? She opened her mouth to ask how she planned on asking a troll if it ate its own bogies if she was going to study it from afar? But she closed her mouth again, no point in giving her friend any ideas so she merely nodded her head weakly.

The bright side of this. She never said exactly when they would go troll hunting or trekking through the Amazon.

Hehe. Oh she was so going to get the girl a tattoo that would be the talk of the town. For all the wrong reasons.

Mia shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe moving around will grow wearying. I've become attached to our house in Russia." Merlin! That kinda sounded like she wanted to settle down.

"I'm really happy for you. I told you, you had nothing to worry about, didn't I?" She remembered their conversation when for the first time, her friend had actually talked to her seriously and expressed her concerns about the future. "Have you been to Fiji before?"

"Wasabi is nice to me unless I leave her in the Owlery too long... or if I fall asleep without feeding her. Which happened a lot this past term I hate to say," Lexi said with a laugh. She loved Wasabi dearly. Even if the owl did have it out for Salander it would seem. Lexi liked to think that Wasabi was merely looking after her well being. Looking down at the kneazle kitty in her arms she smiled, "I can see that. He seems extremely content and very lovable. I can see that in you."

Oooooh. OH. DUH. Lexi felt a blush color her cheeks as Arya spoke about capturing magic. Heh. "YES! That's what he called it! A video camera. I will have to remember that! I don't touch the thing... I am afraid I might break it," she said with a nod.

"Yes, yes. The British Ministry indeed. We are moving to London as far as I know. For the time being anyway. The house in Bergerac belonged to my family. We are going to keep it for a vacation home and all." Despite her stubborn nature about wanting to burn it to the ground once or twice a year. "And I KNOW I am always traveling over holidays! Salander and I plan to go back to Greece after the celebration and the move. We just want to get our things settled in to the hotel in London and then we are taking off," she said with starry eyes. "What all do you have planned?"
