Dueling Club Meeting One The last class of the day was in session when Gnaeus made way to the room off the great hall. Soon the young wizards and witches would be off for the day, but hopefully not too tired to learn about the art of dueling. He pulled key from his pocket, unlocked the doors, and pushed them. After bewitching them open, he made way to the center of the room, where he stood and waited for the students to arrive.

Duelling club. Just the words made Presley instantly interested. Did that mean she could learn how to hex the little firsties down to thier toenails...properly? Cast newly remeoved, she showed up cheerfully. "Good afternoon!" She said brightly. Was she supposed to call him professor? Or not? |
Eeeep she was SO not doing this. ... apparently she was. Nora entered this room kind of hesitantly, since it was for a duelling club. And yes, she, Nora Reed, the one that wanted world peace was attending a duelling club. As she noticed an old man waiting over there, she slightly bowed her head. "Sir," the girl said politely, hoping that that was enough of a greeting. She was a bit tired for something more cheerful. |
Dueling club. Dun dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn. Tori marched into the meeting, her wand at the ready, and looked around. Where were all the other students? All she could see was... hehehe.... an adorable little garden gnome.... awwwwwwww. Just look at his beard! It was almost longer than he was tall! "Hi there," she said in a babyish tone to the gnome-man. "How are YOU?" CUTE THANG. |
Yes, this could be fun... Marilyn stepped into the room, feeling accomplished in the days lessons. She'd done well...and in doing so, felt she could tackle Dueling Club. It couldn't be that hard, really. She use to curse people for fun all the time. No doubt her mad skills would be useful here. O.o Not that many people had arrived, yet...which was cool with her. "Howdy, Professor." |
Gideon hadn't be certain about attending the dueling club meeting when he had first saw the notice on the bulletin board. Sure he had attended the classes taught by the two elder now-graduated students last term but somehow dueling had a different meaning in relation to defense. Even if it was DADA. Nevertheless when the time for the meeting apprioached, Gideon was making his way to the location it was to be held at. No harm in checking things out after all. Upon entering he noticed a much older man in the center of the room as well as a few students alread there. "Good day," he greeted simply with a gentle nod, the young man walking over to one side of the room to wait. |
The moment had finally arrived! She'd heard about this dueling club that was supposedly going to take place, and whatever had the word 'dueling' in it, she was interested. Making her way up to the Great Hall, Evelyn walked into the room, wearing her comfortable clothing like it was suggested, the Slytherin girl couldn't help but raise a brow as she spotted the man in the center of the room. Wait... No, this was weirder than the centaur dude. "Good day, sir." she nodded politely and stood off to the side, crossed arms and all. |
Dueling club? Now this was what he wanted! Nikolas excitedly made his way to the first meeting and finally arrived with wand in hand ready to cast some spells. Hehe. He stepped into the room and saw...a gnome. Hmm, this was going to be interesting. "Hello, Sir" Nikolas said. |
Aiden walks deeper inside the room while looking around in case if her friends are there. "Good evening, sir," she slightly bows politely with a grin on her face. It's duelling, for Salazar's sake! Of course she's excited! |
Hmm dueling club.... this could get mighty interesting uhuh. Salander made a turn from the Great Hall and into the room, just in time to see Evelyn pass through the threshold. He entered the room and made a double take at the |

But she didn't think she would be taken seriously with her hair still a giant yellow poof ball. She had to run from a colony of bees that had taken a special interest in her hair. Plus the yellow was clashing with her white outfit. She spotted the head girl leaning against the wall and she hurried over to her. She tugged on her robes gently to get her attention, "Oh your Head girlness." she said trying to get her attention. "Can you help me please?" she asked. |
Seriously after all the stuff that went down second year, dueling shouldn't even register in Mina's mind. Yet, oddly when she heard about the dueling club, she was slightly excited about it. It wasn't going to be anything like what happened in the forbidden forest, so she was safe and what harm was there to just go to the meeting. She was intrigued and just wanted to know more. Strolling down toward the Great Hall, she held her head high and walked in. There wasn't that many people there yet, but she was just happy she wasn't late or something. Seeing the man in the centre of the room, she nodded politely to him before proceeding to one side of the room. "Good day, sir." |
Louisa made her way to the Great Hall then took a twist to the room where the Dueling club was taking place. Several students were already there. With a smile and a nod the girl greeted the man, "Hello, sir." And continued to stand next to a fellow Ravenclaw to the side of the room. Louisa knew about dueling in theory but she liked to practice it for real. Maybe then she could take revenge for her dead kitty? |
Finally. Dueling club. Arya was excited about this club, having not properly dueled in a good while. And it was close to her dorms which meant she could change out of her uniform before heading to the class without rushing. No stops to the kitchens though. Sad making it was. Dressed comfortably, wand twirling idly, she stepped into the room and let her eyes roam. "Afternoon, sir." Eventually her eyes landed on the very short man, almost missing him amongst the few students that had gathered so far. The prefect walked further into the room to wait for the meeting to begin. |

And Salander. Smiling somewhat as the Head Boy stood next to her, she was about to greet him when...this... SPOILER!!: Tommehbell .... This distracted her. The yellow-ness of it all, for the love of Merlin. It hurt her eyes. She almost didn't recognize the girl as Harlow for a moment either. Aw yeeaa, she was her wasn't she...? "Transfiguration?" Evelyn asked, the smile she gave Salander not moments before turning into a smirk rather quickly. Oh how she hated the subject. Siigghh. |
Eino made his way to this Dueling Club business, not really knowing what to expect. He knew they were gonna learn how to duel, but that couldn't be just it, otherwise they wouldn't need a meeting and just any old room to practice. He entered the room and looked around for a familiar face, but he couldn't help but to notice the man in the room first. He was... curious looking. "Greetings." He said nervously. As he proceeded inside he noticed Louisa and his way towards her. "Hello." |
Duelling club? Sounds cool! Raven walked to the great hall enthusiast. She saw some of students there and.... an oldman. Maybe he will teach us about duel. She thought. "Good Afternoon." |
Dueling club!! The name definitely sounded interesting and if the class had anything to do with casting spells and dueling with other students, Alyssa was game, and if was just a club talking about dueling and no activity was involved, she was okay with that too. She entered the Great Hall and greeted the Professor, "Hello, Sir. I'm really looking forward to hear what is going to be discussed in this meeting". Alyssa then walked over to a fellow Hufflepuff and waited for the meeting to begin. |
Amethyst briskfully walked down the great hall. She nearly passed the doors to the room just off the great hall. She smiled softly as she slowly entered the room. Maybe this would be fun! It wasn't required, but a dueling club? Ame had to join in on this. She looked around to see if she saw any familiar faces. She saw a few, but she didn't want to bother them, for to her, they seemed untalkable. She spotted the instructor and went to him as she flashed a toothly smiled. "Good Afternoon, Sir" |
Ah, dueling, finally. Cael had needed to blow off some steam for a while. All of the gossip going around about him and Jayden was driving him mad! Hopefully he could get paired with one of the people who had a grudge against him and kill two birds with one stone. He grinned as he entered the room, twirling his ebony wand with deft fingers. "Hello there, Professor," he greeted enthusiastically, ready to get this show on the road. |
Janice went to the Great hall, feeling VERY excited about this duelling club. "Hello, Professor!!" she greeted him. She spotted Alyssa in the middle of the crowd and walked to her. Quote:

Kennedy walked in with a wary look on his face. He was somewhat excited that to be attending this dueling thing, but one question swam around in his head. Why did they need to duel? Were they going to have to duel each other. That would be bad. Real bad. What if everyone here knew how to and he didn't? Well, he should have borrowed the armor of one of the suit of armor statues. Would it be too late to go get one? Eh, he'll just use some one as shield. Yeah, that sounded like an easier idea. As he walked in Kennedy greeted the professor man. "Good day, Sir." Yep, he didn't know his name, but at least he was polite. |

Harlow patted her hair, "It really it quite yellow isn't it?" she asked. |
Duelling club. That seemed interesting. Indiana kind of wanted to go. She really didn't know if she was going to be that good at it thouggh. She hadn't ever duelled before. So this was going to be interesting. But if she did go, maybe she'd learn how to duel. That would be a good thing. So Indiana entered the area where the duelling club was meeting. She had a feeling that this was going to be very interesting. She only hoped that she wasn't going to make a fool of herself though. That would be pretty dreadful. Maybe she'd just stand at the back, and pay attention, but not say anything. That would work. |
Ah Dueling Club,Ryan thought.Good to learn new spells. |
