Oh man oh man oh man! He has got to attend this. A herd of acromantulas wont keep him from attending this nosireeee!

Two steps at a time, Salander rushed towards the Divination tower, passing by students in a blur. He did spot the Head Girl standing in his way. Probably needed to remind him about one duty or another. "Whatever it is your gonna hafta tell me along the way!" he hollered, half-carrying, half-dragging the Head Girl with him.

He finally reached the doorway, dropped whatever (and whoever) he was carrying and blurted out loud "I'm here! I'm apparition!" *huff huff*

She had been WAITING for this day to come!!! Yet she didn't expect she had to go all the way up to the divination tower. She thought for sure that she would be lucky enough to avoid walking up all these stairs yet here she was, already mentally grumbling at all of them.

Glancing behind her however, a loud SQUEAK escaped the girl when she was suddenly- "SAL!" Good Merlin! EEEEEEEP!!...."EEEEK!"

A free ride to the tower, yet not in the way she was expecting! Stumbling back to her feet when she was let go, she held onto the wall and looked back to Mr. Head Boy. Excited much? Adjusting her clothes, she laughed quietly as she entered the classroom. "Give me a little warning next time, would ya?"

Lexi was RIGHT behind her BOYFRIEND and the dreadful Head Girl and NOT at all impressed with the NONSENSE she saw. She focused on a spot on the wall, grit her teeth and IGNORED them both as she entered the classroom and took a seat in the front. "Good day, Ministry Official person Recard!" she said in a less than pleased tone. Nothing against that dude, but her BOYFRIEND all over that thing was enough to make her head want to EXPLODE. HMPH FOR LIFE STRADIVARIUS SALANDER.

Marilyn had FINALLY turned 17 just weeks before...and every witch and wizard knew what that meant...

...besides being legal.

She could FINALLY get her apparition license!! So, upon seeing the notice on the bulletin board, she'd made a beeline. It was being held in the Divination classroom and the walk was tiresome...but that mattered little to the blonde. While Marilyn rarely attended the class, this was important.

Bursting in the classroom, she eyed everyone already there. She didn't appear to be late, and immediately felt relieved. Sighing, she smoothed out her robes and patted her hair down. Fixing all the room occupants with a bright smile, she said, "Good afternoon, everyone!"

Since the Divination Tower was not so far away from the Gryffindor one, well...at least he was not supposed to climb lots of stairs since he already lived on seventh floor, Josh was not really hurrying to this Apparition Class and despite that his eyes did not miss his girlfriend and Salander climb into the classroom like...that. Also Lexi moved in after them, she did not look too happy either.

What was...this?

Narrowing his eyes, the Gryffindor boy walked in the classroom and gave the man and woman, that he had no idea who they were, a slight nod ''Good day sir, madam.'' Then he directly walked to where Salander and Evelyn was catching the last sentence the she-snake had voiced.

''Warning for what...'' he asked to the Slytherin girl while eyeing the Head Boy person ''...is there a problem?''

Climb... climb... climb...

Why was this class so far away?!

Not only were her feet hurting from walking too much and possibly running around the common room but now her back and the back of her neck were aching as well. This wouldn't ruin her chances of learning Apparition quickly would it? 'Cause, the sooner she could learn Apparition, she sooner she could get away from the clutches of Asher back at Caroline's manor.

... Except there was a tiny flaw to that plan. There was no way on this planet that she would be able to learn anything quickly, let alone something as complicated as Apparition. Meh.

And there it was! She was stepping into the-

Wait... Kita gaped at her surroundings. What had happened to the ROOM?! Surely it wasn't like this before...? Weren't there usually Divination items placed here and there? And since when were the curtains ever open? Hm...

She shook her head. This wasn't the time to start pondering about a room she was glad to be out of. No. So, instead, she turned her attention to the two, er, people sitting near the desk and gave them a smile. "Er, good day!" she said, trying to sounds as bright and chirpy as possible.

The seventeen year old, turned around and looked at the other people in the room. Students. And she didn't know them. Well, by face, yes. Personally, no. Keeping the smile on her face, she moved away from the trapdoor and went to stand in an empty spot that wasn't too far away from the officers and the desk.

"I didnt want to be late...." he gasped, trying to catch his breath as he glanced at Evelyn. " You looked like you were gonna tell me about some duties or whatever so why not just tell me here." he said as he finally straightened up, and saw Marilyn walk by. Then Lexi HUFFED along. Uh oh. Then finally Josh. Who didnt huff along. Instead he stopped.right.there.

"No problem unless you see one Lion boy." smirked the Slytherin lad as he started to move gingerly toward his Gryffincess. Yeah she probably saw what Josh saw and wasnt all too happy about it either. He glanced back at Evelyn "Whatever it is, can you do it yourself? Or if not.... tell me in the Common Room, or the Prefects' Lounge or something...." Just not now

He nodded his head in greeting at the Wizard in front of the desk then slid into the seat next to Lexi. He moved to give her a quick peck on the cheek, then stopped mid pucker. There was a Witch seated behind the Wizard. Face back to front. "Haiiiii" pretty brunette!

This was Lexi Kennedy NOT being amused.

She crossed her arms over her chest and then scooted her seat away from Salander as he ogled the Transpo lady. Oooooh he was SO going to hear it later. Mhm. Glancing at him for a MILLISECOND she gave him a glare that hopefully conveyed it all. He would have to deal with the rabid girlfriend later. Right now she was here to learn. HMPH FOR LIFE.

Looked like she was going to tell him something?

Yea, she would've asked him where the fire was.

Smirking, she was just about to reply when her Gryffindor boy showed up. Hmmm, and then Salander.......Ohhhkay. "Yea, I'll just pick up all of your slack." EYEROLL. Goodness. Shaking her head, she chuckled for a split moment more before turning her full attention to Josh.

Hehe. "There's no problem Josh." Grinning, she reached over and hooked her arm with his, not giving him all that much choice as she tugged him lightly over to the desks. Maybe the two on the far side of the room. Oh, and of course, she couldn't forget to say hello to those two old people right there. Well, oldER people...

"Good day!"

Destiny was beyond excited for these Apparition lessons.

Except, she wasn't too fond of those lessons being held all the way up in the Divination Tower. Sweet Merlin! It was like they were trying to keep her from learning how to apparate. How was she supposed to learn when she was tired of walking up all those steps!? She was frustrated already.

Standing outside of the room for a moment, she leaned up against the wall trying to catch her breath. If, however was in there teaching them saw her tired, they would probably make her leave. Or maybe they would feel bad for her and let her take a nap.

She could only hope.

After a moment or two.. or three, Destiny had caught most of her breath back, and walking into the room, she let her eyes wander around. She thought the room would look different.. without desks. Ehh.. "Hello.. people I do not know." Giving those old people a smile anyway, she made her way over to a desk and plopped herself down.

Sitting by herself. Because everyone looked.. angry or something.

This tower was meant for Divination, not for Apparition. Were they aware of the dangers of being so up while trying to Apparate? And by 'they', we mean the Ministry people, of course.

The Lockhart boy stepped inside and his eyes found the nearest Hufflepuff. Kita. And the rest of the...seventh years.

He couldn't be the ONLY sixth year to turn 17 before this term was over, right? He just couldn't, it was not possible. Vashti was on his same situation, right? Either way, "Good day, Mister Recard...and...Ministry person?" yeah, the woman, whose name was not on the board. And Lexi, and GENIUS Destiny. They could get hellos as well, but didn't, mainly because he'd been busy enough to get to a seat close to Kita.

Treyen tried very hard not to think of Renee, by the way. The room looked weird enough as it is.

To even say that Mina was excited would be an understatement. After a summer of having to side-along apparate with Evan, she was ready to get her own license and be able to apparate herself. It would be so much better anyway and it was a rite of passage that she was more than ready and willing to go through.

Making her way toward the room set up for the lesson, she smiled slightly. It had been a difficult few weeks and she was beyond ready to get back to her studies and what was important to her. Her studies needed to come first at the moment. It was really a nice stroll from her own common room so she was happy that she wouldn't really have to run the risk of being late and all. But in her haste to arrive pretty early, she forgot to grab some sweets for her bag. One never knew when one needed a little treat.

Upon climbing up the latter and making her way toward the desks. It definitely looked slightly different than it had last year, but she thought very little about that. Seeing two people not at all familiar to her, she offered a polite courstey. "Good day, sir. Good day, madam."

Spotting a desk empty beside Destiny, she headed over. Plopping herself down along with her bag. "Hey Destiny." she smiled before lowering her voice. "You have any chocolate by chance? I forgot to grab some sweets before I left my common room." Seriously, if anyone had some chocolate it would be her friend.

Destiny was beginning to feel nervous the longer she just SAT there. Too many thoughts started running through her head. Like.. what if the had to practice the practical part of apparition? What happened if someone else, because she was sure it wouldn't happen to her, splinched themselves? What would happen if someone apparated right out of the Divination Tower? Okay, that second part might be just a little bit funny.

Or maybe alot funny.

Chuckling to herself at that thought, she turned her head towards Mina as she came and sat next to her. "Hi, Mina!" she returned the smile just before leaning closer to her friend to hear what she was saying. Maybe she thought it would be funny to see someone apparate out of the tower, too! But no, she was only asking about chocolate. Giving the Ravenclaw a LOOK, a look that clearly said 'like you need to ask me that question', Destiny stuck her hand into her pocket, and pulling out a few chocolate frogs, she sneakily handed them over. Were they allowed to eat? She didn't know..

"If anyone asks, you did not get them from me." Especially Evelyn was the one that asks.

Why in Merlin's name was the apparition lesson being held in the Divination tower? Did these people not know that she was a very lazy person and HATED climbing all these stairs. She had been prepared to give up Divination this year because she was sick of the stairs but fortunately it was being held on the first floor this year.

Once at the top, Mia had to stop and catch her breath and clutch at the stitch in her side. Yeah she was so unfit. After a moment she straightened up and headed into the room. "Hello Sir. Madam." she said politely before moving away from them and headed over to Destiny and Mina.

Thankfully she totally missed the exchange of chocolates because she didn't really feel like getting into an argument with her friend today. "You guys excited for this?"

Caroline made her way up to the Divination tower. It was a very interesting place to have an Apparition lessons. And much to far to walk from the dungeons.

But seriously every step was worth in since it meant that she was that much closer to getting her Caroline made her way up to the Divination tower. It was a very interesting place to her to have an Apparition license.

When she walked into the Divination room it looked so much different that it does during class.

And much brighter with the curtains open. You can see the lake perfectly from the window here. The classroom actually looked more like a normal classroom.

She father into the room. She smiled to the ministry people. "Hello." She looked around the room for a second. nearly half of the seventh year were there. She seen Kita and made her way over to her. "Hey, Kita." She grinned to her bestie.

So there was no problem huh?

No problem. So the snakes had said. As he still kept eyeing them both, his gaze stopped on Salander when he smirked though he felt Evelyn's arm around his.

Unless he saw one?

The Gryffindor looked neither annoyed nor happy and just stared at the snake boy with a rather neutral expression though his girlfriend was tugging him away ''Not yet.'' Seriously. He had no problems with this Head Boy person, unlike with Finlay, but he did not like other guys touching his girlfriend.

Anyway...

Obeying the she-snake's lead, he sat down on that seat at the far corner of the class and looked around watching others walk in. Yes, watching others would help him forget what had happened.

Vashti wasn't sure whether she was looking forward to this Apparition lesson or not. It was in the Divination Tower, so she didn't have to walk very far from the Ravenclaw common room to get here. But she wasn't too sure about the actual Apparating. She'd heard that it wasn't exactly the most pleasant of experiences and that many things could go wrong - like Splinching. And yet, it certainly was a more convenient, sometimes faster, way to travel compared to Floo Powder, the Knight Bus, flying a broom, etc. So she came, deciding the positives outweighed the negatives - for now, at least.

"Hello," she greeted the two Ministry employees with a smile before turning to find a place to sit.

It seemed the lesson consisted mostly of seventh years - the only sixth year she spotted was Treyen. So she moved quickly over to where he was and sat down. "Hey." Weren't any other sixth years coming? Surely she and Treyen were not the only ones who wanted to learn to Apparate.

Mina smiled as her friend handed some chocolate frogs over. Of course, Destiny would come through for her in her time of need. It was reassuring to know that at least one of her friends she could depend on in times of need. Not that lacking chocolate was really a time of need, but sometimes you just want some chocolate goodness!

Pocketing the goodies, she nodded. "I know nothing and I say less," she replied. As if anyone would really ask her such a thing. She was after all the same girl that hide brownies in her school bag back in third year and all. Yum, memories of cupcakes.

Seeing Mia, Mina smiled. "Excited doesn't even start to cover it." Seriously, she had been waiting for this moment for a long time. No one side-along apparating and she would be able to surprise Evan when and if she wanted to in the future.

Isabelle smiled. Apparation, ohhh this was for sure going to be fun. Isabelle was extremely excited to apparate. It was going to be pretty cool and luckily she was a sixth year which meant. Woot seventeen, and woot apparation.

"Hello everyone," she said with a cheerfull smile even though she didn't know many people yet, still. Ugh. Looking around she saw a couple of familiar faces like Salander, and Evelyn. Head boy and girl.

Armen had been sitting in the empty classroom with no one but Katherine sitting behind him. Kicking his feet against the front of the desk as they dangled off the edge, Recard looked up excitedly as he heard people clammoring up the ladder below the room. Then two figures, one practically dragging the other entered the room. Eyeing their badges, Armen's eyebrows shot up; he had been a Ravenclaw prefect himself when he was in school--never made it to Head Boy though.

"Hello you two, come on in and take a seat." he nodded with a smile.
The third arrival didn't seem to be so excited, hopefully her animosity wasn't towards him or Apparition....it was an optional class. Armen returned her greeting with another polite smile.

"Mr. Recard will do, and welcome to your Apparition lesson." Hmm..A gryffindor. Wasn't Katherine one of those?
Ahh this was the appropriate level of giddyness that the Transportation Head was looking for.

Recard's eyes followed her and grinned as she sat down. "And good afternoon to you too, Miss!" Students always made his chuckle on the inside.
The second male student to arrive was another Gryffindor.

Armen didn't remember making the lessons two houses at a time. Oh well, he would jump that hippogriff when it came. "Good day to you." he nodded at the boy. Such good manners, he could teach some people in the Ministry some of that.
Oh another student and this one was a Ravenclaw, one of his OWN!!!!

Why did she chose to stand rather than sit in a desk? Ravenclaw did seem to attract the eccentrics and the occasional oddball but that was definately a positive. Smiling kindly at the girl Recard spoke up towards the corner she was standing in, "Hello dear, would you like to take a seat over this way, please?"

Easier to learn that way and you know...it was more comfortable.



What was going on here?

The Department Head's eyebrows narrowed and his mouth puckered in thought as he watched the tension growing between the Slytherin Head Boy and Girl, the less than excited Gryffindor girl, and the polite gryffindor boy.

Recard stood up and speaking before anything went down in the classroom, not that he actually saw what was really going on. "Now kids lets just settle down a bit, house rivalries are not matter of Apparition. Let's just have a seat, shall we?" Yep, good. Problem averted!

Armen was good at not knowing the real situation.
As he walked back to his desk after deterring an all out Gryffindor/Slytherin smack down (he had faith that the Snakes could handle their own, that brunette Head Girl looked as if she could be viscous) Armen heard another new student enter the room and greet him and Katherine.

With a chuckle he turned towards her and nodded in her direction, "Welcome and hello students I don't know."
And the token Puff.

They were always needed of course and they were highly valued in Armen's opinion! "Good day to you sir!" he waved in greeting as the boy entered the room.
Another Claw!

Armen tried his best to hide his enthusiasm when he saw this girl and the girl before, and did so very well besides the giant grin on his face. "Welcome to the Apparition lesson!"

Armen's best friend, well second best friend, was a Hufflepuff back in the day. Which reminded him, he needed to owl Jeffery soon.

"Hello there, welcome to the Apparition lesson." he waved as she joined the other students.

More students!

"Hello there, welcome." he nodded with a grin towards the girl. He checked his watch to see how much longer they were going to wait until the lesson started.

A girl entered who looked slightly younger than the others yet not too young. She must be a sixth year. He got his Apparition license in his sixth year.

"Hello there, come on in and have a seat."
And that was the last one, just at the point Armen was going to call time.

"Hurry on in, we are just about to start. Welcome!" Armen checked his watched and then waited for all of the students to sit down.

Alright, time to start the lesson; the first of Armen's career.

"Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to your very first Apparation Lesson of the term!" he paused for emphasis and applause if they felt it was nescessary. He certainly would had be been them, Appariting was exciting. "So you are probably wondering who we 'old folks' are that are teaching you and not your Professors. Well my name is Armen Recard and I am the Department Head of the Magical Transportation Department at the Ministry of Magic. And my collegue and your other instructor for today," he gestured for Katherine to stand or do something, "Is Miss Katherine Spades my Apparition Head Supervisor."

*cough* Erm? What to do first?

Oh! "So all of you know we are here to learn how to Apparate and all that good stuff but this first lesson will be a focus on Apparition basics and some other modes of transport in the Wizarding World aswell." Armen turned and wrote on the board and then turned to face the class.

"So, what all forms of Magical Transportation or modified Muggle transportation are used by us in order to get from place to place?" He stood poised by the board ready to right the ones named on the list.

OCC: The lesson has now STARTED! Please do not post having your character entering the class late. It is disrespectful. Thank you.

Scooting her chair extremely closer to Josh's, Evelyn leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms and legs, waiting for the lesson to begin. Which wasn't long, thank goodness. She was rather excited and waiting was not on her list of things to do!

Looking from one instructor to the other, an eyebrow MAY have raised at the revelation that they were only learning basics today as well as other modes of transportation in the wizarding world. Fine. That was...fine. They were learning mostly about apparating though, right!? "Flying carpets." she spoke up, deciding to choose one that wasn't going to be obviously said on the first try. "Though unfortunately illegal here..."

For everyone else's knowledge. She was sure Mr. Department Head dude knew all about that. Or did he!?

Caroline turned her attention the front of the room as the head of magical transportation spoke. Okay. Yes they were to learn how to apparate. was there a need to ask other questions about the other ways of transportation?

Anyway she answered the question. "By porkey." which was the only other way she had ever gotten around besides on a broom.

Ellie fiddled with her necklace nervously as she listened to this Mr. Recard talk about stuff that was probably important. She was just really excited! Even though they wouldn't be starting apparition right away, it was just exciting to think that by the end of the year, she would be able to. Since she was turning 17 in January, Ellie excitedly had planned on attending this class.

Right, time to tune in. Magical ways of transportation? Ellie raised her hand and spoke in turn. "Well, there's portkeys, floo powder, broomsticks...." And that was all she could think of at the moment. "Yeah." Mumble.

Mina was a GREAT friend.

Destiny didn't know who would actually ask her where she got the chocolate from anyway, because face it, it was pretty obvious who it was, but now the Ravenclaw knew to eat the chocolate all sneaky-like. Yeah, she may have sat a little away from Evelyn, but that girl could probably smell the stuff.

Good thing she was over there with Josh. He probably smelled like chocolate anyway.

Turning to Mia when she came and sat next to her, Destiny had just opened her mouth to ask her if SHE would think it was funny if someone apparated right out the Divination Tower, when..

The lesson started and the man started talking, and talking, and talking about things she didn't care about. Like.. who they were. Destiny wouldn't remember their names after the lesson anyway.

Shrugging to herself, she listened to the question, and knowing an answer or two, or three, she raised her hand. Did they have to raise their hand? Ehh.. "One time, I watched this thing on the muggle box about a bicycle that could fly. And an alien sat in the basket. That is a form magical transportation." Indeed it was. "Or, some witches and wizards use magical creatures to get around. Magical creatures like the Giant Squid, or an Abraxan!"

Proud of her answer, Destiny was.
