"Nice singing Heather." Cass commented absently "You've certainly gotten better since the last time I've heard you sing." She said as she remembered last years, tea party moment with Heather singing, under her mother's insistence, and practically fainting a minute or so after she finished the song

Riley continued to lay there on the rock with this stranger and stare at the sky. It wasn't as uncomforatable as he expected it to be, but he wasn't used to lying on boulders so he had nothing to compare it to really. The Gryffindor nodded slowly as she mentioned having to get used to it. "That's exactly how it was for me, I hated the place when I got here. But after I got to know w few people and I realzied I could handle be a Gryffindor then it was ok." He had originally wanted to be a Slytherin but quickly found out there was already too much ego in that house to add his own huge one.

He was examining a particularily odd cloud formation, not doing the ridiculous Divination technique, purely out of boredom, when the girl's hand appeared over him, waiting. He raised his hand out into the air above his body and shook her's, grinning at the strangeness of it all. "It's a pleasure Ryden." That was a unique name, he sort of liked it. "So what brings you to this spot today?" the seventh year asked resting his hands on his chest again.

"R-really?" Heather took a deep breath of air. She was glad she was able to sing well. "thanks so much Cass!" she said happily. it was like she got positive criticism from a singing contest judge.

Ryden shrugged. "It's just so foreign... All of it," she remarked, putting her hands behind her head as she stared up at the blaring gray sky. Light gray, dark gray... So obviously British and NOT South African. "You're a Gryffindor?" the brunette suddenly said, more as a statement than a question. She had yet to meet ONE nice Gryffindor in this stupid place.

Perhaps there were some decent ones after all.

After lowering her hand, she dropped her head to one side to glance at him, before looking back up. "Well, a tree that hits people who get too close is not something you get to see every day so I thought I'd check it out... It's one heck of a willow," she pointed out, chuckling slightly as it rustled in the wind. This was HER kind of tree, for sure.

The girl suddenly had an urge to go up to it, just to see what it will do. The brunette wasn't really a fan of getting injured because she hated anything to do with medicine and BLOOD, so she tried to avoid the whole shebang. But this.. could be interesting. She weighed the idea.

" I will never call you boring" William promised Rose." Alright, did not want my Christmas pressie to be reduced" William said to Rose." Thanks for the forgiveness" William kissed Rose on the cheek. He did not dare tell her she has a temper.

" I knew you would like it" William told Presley. " I am sorry, we can not play baseballl or softball in the snow" William said to Presley. " Baseball is a spring, summer and fall sport where football is a fall and winter sport" William exp;ained to Presley. " What would you like to do now?" William asked Presley.

Why? Why? Why? Why did he have to leave Hogwarts for so long? It was terrible. Though Justin did have a very good reason for having to go. But there was noway Ad could ever find out about that. He hadn't even told her he was going so that must have made her worry a little. Right? But now he was back and Ad was sure to ask him for an explanation. But what was he going to tell her? He couldn't tell her he was going to say goodbye to his family before he passed away. He could see it coming faster than ever. But he couldn't tell Ad. Although it was blatantly obvious he had some sort of illness. He still couldn't tell Ad what was wrong. So he had to brighten himself up before his girlfriend turned up. Which he knew was going to be soon.

Justin walked up to the Whomping Willow. Maybe the tree could give him one final smack and boot him out of the way of it's path. But he didn't want that to happen so he sat as far away from the most dangerous tree in these parts as possible just so it didn't swing round and hurt him. Good thinking.

Justin sat with his legs crossed and his arms out in front of him, thinking and playing with a strand of the green grass. He was deep in thought because he hadn't even noticed the kid that had just almost stood on him. Ouch. But he wasn't in the mood. He had to think of something to tell Ad without letting things get out of hand. He knew Ad was going to freak when she did find out and he hadn't told her. It was obvious she was going to flip out like no other time. But had she been told of the last time that took hold of his life? If she had then she'd probably have known it had returned for the third time. Except this time it had taken hold of him. And there was nothing he could do about it.

'Alright, then!' Rose grinned. 'Now I need to think what to get you for a Christmas Pressie!'

Ad slunk down towards the Whomping Willow, tears streaming down her cheeks, a letter clutched tightly in her hand. Well, this was her last day until next term. She was going to France for the rest of the year until next September.

Ad's eyes lit up when she saw a familiar figure with his back to her. But she immediately saddened. This was her last day with Justin until next year. Great.

Ad plopped down next to Justin, hugged him, and started her tearful explanation. "Jake got his way. Today is my last day here. If I don't lik Beauxbatons, I can return for my third year...or return late this term if I hate it that much. I missed you, Justin" she sobbed into his shoulder. She was upset that Justin hadn't been there when she needed him the most. She pulled away and noticed how he looked. "Justin, sweetheart, are you okay? she asked, reaching up to touch his face gently.

Justin looked up as Ad approached him and smiled slightly. A clearly fake smile. It was blatantly obvious something was seriously wrong but he couldn't tell Ad. "Maybe you will like it at Beauxbatons. I've been told by close female friends its a good school so" he replied half-heartedly. He moved his head away swiftly as Ad went to touch him. "It doesn't matter" he replied, his hazel eyes filled with fear and pain. At he hadn't coughed up anymore blood. Yet.

Ad looked at Justin oddly. "You ARE sick, hon" she said, wiping away the last of her tears. Justin usually put up some fight when she said stuff like this, especially when it upset her this much. "My mother went to Beauxbatons. She says that she hated it there. And besides, I won't know anyone there. I wanna stay, Justin, with you, and Callum, and Alex, and everyone else" she said, bringing her legs to her chest. She studied him carefully. He was always okay with her tuching him. So she took his hand gently. "It DOES matter, Justin. It's obviously something that's tearing you up. Please, Justin. I promise not to freak out" she swore. She was getting scared. "And there's one more thing...I was diagnosed with the same disease my fathe died of. I'm not gonna see my sixteenth birthday..." she confessed. And that was strecthing it.

" I am such a softy especailly for cute girls" William told Rose. " I need to get yo ua Christmas present, too" William said to Rose. " I have an idea" William smiled. "How about you give me a list of what you want for Christmas and I will be able to get what you like or need or maybe both" William explained to Rose.

'Hmm... I've already got everything I want!' Rose grinned 'Nah, I'll probably get you some Muggle sweets to try! Have you ever tried any Flying Saucers?' Rose asked 'Are you staying at Hogwarts or going home?' Rsoe enquired

"hey lovebirds!" Cleo shouted at her friends as she approached if they did anythingwhen she was there like showing just a little too much affection she would have to come back with reinforcements to get Rose back to normality"whatcha talkin' 'bout"

Presley shivered. "Let's go inside where it's warm," she suggested, pulling her cloak close around her. It was FREEZING out here.

Hey Rose tell me what you want for chrimbo, and maybe, just maybe i'll get it for ya!"

'Hey, Cleo!' Rose sighed at what she had called them. 'Not a lot really!' Rose replied


'Hmmmm...... Probably..... I don't know!' Rose admitted 'My parents will probably send me a book or something! I really don't know! Hey, Cleo, are you staying at Hogwarts during the holidays?' Rose asked

"Deffo babs, i am not going back to foster care with the dimwits! besides as soon as i got there i would have to come back!" Cleo replied "are you?"

Justin looked at Ad who was clearly upset. But he couldn't bring himself to comfort her. "Ad, I'm fine" he replied. He wasn't. He was far from it. Then she spoke again and he teared up looking away from her. "There could be a problem there" he replied. He wasn't going to be able to spend his life with her. That was impossible. Then she spoke again. "That's the thing, you will freak out. That's why I don't wanna tell you. I don't wanna upset you anymore than you already are" he said. But he had to tell her. So then she mentioned not seeing her sixteenth birthday. "It's better than not being able to see the rest of the school year out. You still have four or five years left. I have a couple of months. I'm only back here so I can say bye to my friends. Them I'm gone and you'll never see me again because you're going Beauxbatons. So there's no point in trying to put up a fight" he replied. There. She knew it. She knew he was going to die soon. Then he began coughing up blood. But it was unavoidable.

'Oh, good! I'll have someone to stay with!' Rose clapped her hands joyfully. 'You live in Foster Care?'

"yup, as soon as my original parents found out that i could do magic off i was, put into foster care and every two weeks i moved around as the new people thought i was a freak as well."

" You love to get me sweets" Wiliam told Rose. " No, never tried Flying Saucers" William said to Rose. " Going home and hopefully yo ucan visit me" Wiliam expalined to Rose.

" We are talking about Christmas presents " Wiliam told Cleo. " We are also talking about where we aregoing for the Christmas vacation" Wilaim said to Cleo. " So what so yo uwant dor a present?" William asked Cleo.

" Here , use my coat, too" Willaim told Presley. " We shoulkd go and eat" Wiliam said to Presley. " I could meet yo uat the RavenClaw table' Wiliam smiled.

'Yeah, that would be awesome if I could visit!' Rose grinned. She was just happy they had made up!

'Oh, that's horrible!' Rose frowned How could people do that! Rose thought
It's cruel! 'So, did all your Foster Families find out you were magic?' Rose asked

" no some just noticed that i was different in the way i walked around, what i ate and what i liked to do and didn't like it." Cleo replied, wishing that Rose would leave it.

Cleo turned to Will "i really don't care as long as it's something fun or funny or both! How about you?"

'Oh, OK!' Rose said 'Well, at least we're at Hogwarts now! I never thought I could go to a place like this!' Rose said
