Connor sighed and stood. "No kidding they are! And it doesn't help that my headaches haven't stopped and.." He sat down beside her again and put his head in his hands. "It really does hurt. I've backed off and I'm getting to know myself and I'm even writing her a song but I don't know if she'll ever notice. I don't know if she'll ever see me for me." He sighed softly. He listened to her. Turning to her a light flashing in his eyes, he knew. He knew she was hiding something from him. "Why do you lie to me every day Dani? I know that you don't want me for your best friend, your big brother! Tell me the truth! What do you want from me?"

" Well, that was not to bad" Willaim told Presley. " Now sww the ball, hit the ball" Willaim said to Presely. Keep your legs apart further and when you go to hit, use the leg in front of the other for a stronger swing" William expalined to Presley. After a couple of more swings, we will change to a ball that is called a softball, but it is a little hared than a tennis ball" William smiled.

Riley was pretty bored which constituted for about the only reason he would ever come and visit the murderous, blood-thirsty tree. The Gryffindor had never been down here actually and he had only heard stories about the Whomping Willow and of cours ehad seen it from afar but he decided he should experience it in person.

He sat on a rock out of reach of the swinging branches and just looked at it, weighing in his head whether or not to throw a rock at it.

Nika needs air. Fresh air.

Good thing the out doors is full of it.

She skipped towards the violent tree and watched it swing it's branches. She chuckled as she saw Elyon in her mind sitting next to it. What an odd friend she was indeed.

Nika set out a blanket a good distance away from the tree and took out her picnic basket. She had nicked a few sandwiches from the great hall and a few drinks as well. She wanted to have a picnic. Anything wrong with that? She brought a few extras of everything incase someone decided on joining her, but for now she'd settle down and people watch for a bit.

" Well, it seems you are having a picnic" William told Nika. "Anyone special joining you?" William asked Nika." You sure kpe hpw yo pack a picnic" William explained to Nika.

Rose sat on the ground and felt the cold breeze shiver around her. 'Brrrrrr' Rose shivered as she pulled out Quidditch Through the Ages and carried on reading.

It had been a while since Kurumi had paid a visit to the Whomping Willow and she felt that today would be a good time to go and say hello. After all, the tree had been very kind to her during the task of her final Ancient Runes class that term.

As she got closer, she noticed a younger girl she recognized from the common room...and somewhere else...reading a book. She couldn't put her finger on where else exactly. Peering over, Kurumi noticed the cover of the book she was reading and her stomach tied in knots.

Quidditch...

"Y-You know, they used to use charmed rocks and boulders before the sport was banned in 1762," she said rambling off facts.

Dani was slightly shocked and backed off from him a little, her eyes wide. "Connor I do want you for my best friend! And you are practically my big brother..." she said honestly- because she was being honest. Just because he was those things didn't mean she couldn't... "Because, Connor- I like you, like really still like you. And ya know what" she stood up. "I know you're gonna get all freaked out- but I don't know why. I've known you for years. You and this veela part. And ya know what- I like all of you- all of you, because I know all of you... I'm sure it's just a crush... I'm sure I'll get over it" she said softly, as calmly as she could. She did not want to lose Connor, she couldn't lose him- it would be awkward enough every time he visited home for Luke and Dan if he didn't just listen to her- to what she was actually saying. She knew she was just gonna have to get over this, he'd never feel the same way, her brothers would have a right laugh at this.

'Yeah, they were called Blooders!' Rose grinned as the girl aproached her. She sounded nervous! 'My name's Rose, what's yours?'

Smiling Kurumi took a seat near the girl and set her leather bag down beside her. "I'm Kurumi," she smiled shyly. Rosie...she had seen that name somewhere. She bit her lower lip a little as she tried to place the girl. Then it hit her. "You're...Rose Deluise, right?"

'Hi! That would be me! You're my fellow Quidditch teamplayer, Kurumi, aren't you!' Rose grinned

Kurumi's face sunk and she bit her lip a bit harder. Yep...that would be her. "Y-Y-Yes," she stammered. It was the first time she had been referred to as a Quidditch player. It was something that she wasn't all that used to. Simon seemed to think she would do alright. As did Carter, Josh, and Selina...but she still felt sick to her stomach whenever she thought about flying around on a broom. Then again, she DID have a new broom. "One of the starting Beaters." Unless Simon moved her around, which he mentioned he may do.

Jonathan fancied a walk today even though the weather is a little gloomy. The wind is so cold and very much if your clothes are not as thick--- or rather, as many, you will die freezing. Unless your some kind of creature that can live in a negative temperature.

Jonathan walked and walked and reached the whomping willow. hmmm. It's been awhile since he visited this magnificent tree. He has been busy doing those DADA project that it felt like a year at Hogwarts already. Not to mention the upcoming exams. Oh well, a student must do what a student has got to do.

Sigh. This feels really nice. Cold breeze and just watching the Whomping willow from a far. No birds chirping, the leaves have already fallen. Jonathan just stood there and let his thoughts drift.

Jeanne walked around for awhile since she really needed some time off with homework and studying and sleeping. It's nice to sleep with this weather. Winter break will soon come and Jeanne can't wait to sleep like a bear all winter long.

Reaching the whomping willow, she saw Jonathan standing there. He didn't do much, he just stared at the tree. Jeanne smiled. He missed Jonathan. They haven't spoken to each other in awhile now. He ran over to him and jumped over his back while covering his eyes with her hands "Guess who??" she lowered her voice but probably her giggle can't fool him.

Jonathan was suddenly tackled by a person from behind and by the sound of the person's voice, Jonathan's heart beat faster. Crazy. The sweet scent of her perfume and the way she laughed, he missed it. He took her hand that was covering his eyes, purposely. "Jeanne" he said normally. He didn't want to sound like a complete psycho to her. "What's up?" he said.

What's up? Jonathan should really learn how to convey his feelings through words. Last time he was talking to Kurumi and Heather, he really missed Jeanne and now-------- ALL HE CAN SAY IS 'WHAT'S UP'... Smoooooth.

He looked at her and smiled. He couldn't say anything. He couldn't even react correctly right. Probably his brain has been damaged or something. Someone slap his head?!

Finally he started behaving normally. William didn’t seem so annoying this time. I wonder how much this ‘peace’ is going to last, she thought. Only she didn’t expect an answer to her question to come so fast…

‘Excuse me? Guard in making friends?’, Gwendolyn asked him. But if I think about it, this may be a good thing. Hmm, she thought, even though she was kind of sure he meant it in another way.

Great. Guess here we go again…

'I think I'm a reserve Chaser, I tried out for Chaser anyway!' Rose grinned 'You don't need to be nervous! I won't bite! Well, I might, but it won't hurt!' Rose laughed

"Hi Gwen!" Rachel called, she hoped that Gwen reconised her from the common room, then she noticed that she was talking to somebody, "Oh sorry, I interrupted you!" Rachel had a habit for doing this, she looked at the tree, wow! Thats a cool tree! she thought.

It has been awhile now that Jeanne has talked, hugged or basically seen Jonathan. "Sorry i wasn-n't ar-round" she was distracted when Jonathan was still holding her hand. "m-much to talk to you like old times" she let go of her hand and smiled at him. They're friends right? Then why is he acting like a total dork. One word answer? Since when did Jonathan became a one word answer person and especially to Jeanne.

"I'm literally busy studying." she said to him. "Exams" she said looking away. Still, that wasn't enough excuse to why she didn't have time to at least talk to him. "Really, I am sorry... Jonathan" she repeated. Then Jeanne stared at the whomping willow.

Jonathan blushed when he was holding Jeanne's hand, thinking that she wouldn't notice, he smiled. But the moment she let go Jonathan felt annoyed at himself. "Sorry" he apologized.

"That's o-okay" he said to her. Yeah, tell her how you really feel instead of just being okay with whatever she's saying.

Jonathan laughed when Jeanne said she was studying "Spoken like a true Ravenclaw" he teased. The mood was getting awkward so it was time for Jonathan to let go of those hidden feelings and act like a true friend. "Really, don't worry. Studying is really important" well he hasn't started yet or anything. Hasn't even answered any homework, except for the DADA project.

Connor looked at her. He could not believe she was sitting there lying to his face yet again. Why couldn't she just say it? He stood face to face with her. "I see you don't think I don't. You're not exactly subtle Dani. I'm not sure you would know subtle if it flattened your perfectly fluffed curls! Always flaunting your assets like you think that's going to attract me!" His blue eyes flashed and began to grow black around the edges. "You say you know me, you really know me? What kind of animal is my pet nessie? Where did I get my Teddy Bear? Why am I afraid of fire?" He shook as his hands began to become claws and feathers formed in the back of his hair.

Dani watched him, before pulling her back onto her shoulder- why was he acting this way? Pushing away the people that cared about him the most, she felt tears fall down her cheeks. "I'm one of your best friends, Connor. And right now- you're making me want to just go. Go back to Beauxbatons and leave here. I don't 'flaunt my assets' at you. I'm not like that! And perhaps if you spent more time talking to me- as opposed to avoiding me with my brothers and then here... I know that you're afraid of fire because of what happened when you were a baby... and then Nessie's a... a seaho... no- a water h..." she said, angry at herself, tears falling. She backed off from him slightly. "You're scaring me, Connor..." she whispered as worry crossed her face. "I don't wanna make you mad" she said softly.

" William put his swaeater on Rose's shoulders and his robe over the sweater. " Does that feel better?" William asked Rose." I told you that you are going to be the best player on the Quidditch pitch" William told Rose." I am so happy I saaw you here" William said to Rose. William gave Rose a great big grin.

" Did I say you are guareded in making friends?" William asked Gwen. " Sorry, I gusee I should never told you that answer" William said to Gwen. "Actually, I meant, we must be on guard against " The Whomping Willow" as it can be crazy" William laughed. "So friends?" Wiliam asked Gwen. He held out his hand to shake hers.

Presley followed directions and tried again. This time, the ball almost went all the way to William, but it fell a little short still. Then she was confused. A softball is harder than a tennis ball?" she asked William. This didn;t make any sense! Well, muggles were sort of a strange lot.

'Oh, hai, William!' Rose grinned back. 'You're gonna be cold now, so you take the robe... I'm keeping the jacket...' Rose laughed 'Hey, William, this is Kurumi! She's also on the Gryffindor Quidditch team! And as for me being good! Do you want to know what'll probably happen to me! I'll get hit by a Bludger!'
'Why are you happy?' Rose asked as she was confuzzled.
