The trophy room houses the various trophies earned by students over the centuries. From plaques with the names of those on the winning Quidditch Cup teams to those who earned the prestigious Special Services to the School.

Well that was a bummer. She was hoping they could've gone to the quidditch pitch and fly around, since that place was a bit suspicious, but nooooo. This couldn't be fun could it.
Eying the blackboard with the questions, her eyes kept glancing to the one about Cynthia and Greg. Meh. Could she have left that part out? Then again...somehow that gave her an idea. Two separate topics and all that jazz. "Would we have to go IN the lake to get it?" She did say IN the grounds.
"Is it near the Slytherin common room?" Hehe that was supposed to be a joke. It being near and under the lake and all. Though why they brought them all the way up here if it WERE near the common room was beyond her.

"i think it is the right room. Actually, i didn't get the clue the Bloody Baron said in the common room but i followed them" He pointed at the other students in the room. "So i figured it would be he--" Daichi's cheeks blushed a shape of red when he realised what he had said. He had basically said that he was stupid. "N-N-NOT that i'm dumb or something! i'm not! its just... clues and then meeting and...yeah!" He cleared his throat and decided to just stand cool. Therefore he folded his arms and took a pose. yeeeaah..hehe
From the corner of his eye Jonathan spotted his favorite first year or maybe he is the only Slytherin first year Jonathan knew. Jonathan smiled and looked at him from head to toe "Where Mr. Duckels?" he asked smirking. Jonathan doesn't know why but he always liked teasing Daichi. Maybe it's because he's an only child and he wants to have a brother... maybe.
Jonathan laughed as Daichi tried to explain himself to him. He fumbled Daichi's hair like a five year old and bent down to his level "okay" he whispered to him and added a wink to that. Teasing the little boy again. Oh, how Jonathan find him cute.
"Yeah, can't wait for this to actually finish" he snorted. Jonathan's back was still in pain from the amount of homework they had to do and what not.
SPOILER!!: PREFECT IRIS

Near some Special Services To The School awards (those belonging to the brave students who'd ventured down into the depths of the Lake in Term 22) is a large blackboard, containing no text at all. It's completely empty.
Iris jumped backwards as Aurora the First Year walked right into her, covering her ears at the girl's yell. Brilliant. She blew hers and Evan's cover! Hmpf.
Lifting the Disillusionment Charms from Evan and herself, they became visible to the Slytherin's that'd figured out the Baron's clue and gotten themselves to here. Iris was grinning happily at the students, impressed with the number that'd turned up. If the others didn't want to come, then it was them missing out. They had taken a while to get here though... The Baron really was difficult to reason with though. Perhaps making him call them "M'lovelies" wasn't the best of ideas. NEVER MIND, EH? Hehe.
"Hulloo! As you can probably tell... this isn't actually going to be a meeting. Nope! It's hopefully going to be something much more fun than that." Iris started, looking around the room. "Because, you see... We discovered something amazing in the Grounds; something that's been hidden for years. This whole thing is for you to find out what, and where it is. Not only that, but we're hoping to test your "Slytherin" side, and your ability to cooperate well with other houses."
Iris took a glance at Evan, before deciding to carry on. "As Slytherin's, we're supposed to be cunning, resourceful and sly. You're going to use those traits to try and trick information out of Evan and I, in a large game of 20 Questions. You can ask anything, whether it be about the final location, where you need to go next, the relevance of the cookies in the common room and these trophies right here... anything. We can only answer with yes or no."
It just occurred to the girl JUST how boring some of the students will probably find this. Well TOUGH. They weren't idiots, there'd be no silly games - simple as. The end to the hunt would be totally worth it, anyway. "This blackboard is going to be used to keep score of what we answer "Yes" to, and what gets answered "No" to. It's your job to use that gathered information to try and figure out where you have to go next."
Raising her wand, she aimed it at the chalk. It levitated into the air and wrote "YES" on one side of the board, "NO" on the other, and then drew a vertical line down the centre.
"Once you think you've figured out the next location, DO NOT yell it out. Everyone's got to figure it out on your own. Just tell me that you think you know the location, and then one of us will cast a charm so only we can hear your answer. (OOC translation: PM one of us your answer.) If you're right, we'll give you one of these green OR silver bags." She pointed to the small velvet bags that were sat under the blackboard. Exactly half were green, and half were silver. "They can't be opened until you've got to the next location, and until you have the help of three other people. One of these people will be a fellow Slytherin, and the other two will be from a separate house. They'll have information on how to use the contents of the bag to gain the next clue, which will lead you to the place that the prefects discovered earlier in the year." Hopefully the Snakes would be smart enough to figure out that the different coloured bags contained different things... And she'd apologise to them all for having to wait so much later...
"So... Who's willing to start us off?"
OOC: rules/guidance.
- Use the questions to try and uncover the next clue/location.
- Questions MUST have a possible way to answer yes or no to them.
- Your character can ask TWO separate questions in each post.
- Please wait until Either Nixy! or Deniiz have replied to all the posts and updated the blackboard at the end of their posts before posting again.
- Observation, Patience and creativity are key!
- LET OUT THE SLYTHERIN IN YOU.
- Once you have figured out the answer, PM one of the prefects the location.
- The contents of the bags are essential for the next part of the Hunt. You need to figure out the next location AND PM me or Deniiz to be given the bag and it's contents in a reply PM.
- VM/PM one of us if you're confused with anything.
- Have fun with this!
After listening to the Prefect and Head Girl talking Jonathan's mind was starting to confuse himself. What did she---? Who was---? What is the---? Dear Merlin what the heck is going on? And he thought it was some urgent meeting. Jonathan has been thinking possible reasons to why they will be having a meeting. And now, this happens.
OKAY!
So a question needs to be asked but should be answerable by a YES or NO answer. Easy enough. The trick is to trick them. Well clearly, being a sly is a somehow positive behavior of a Slytherin BUT how are they suppose to trick them if they're SLYTHERINS themselves? Jonathan must come up with a clever question to them then.
In order to get those next clues, Jonathan eyed the silver and green bags. What could be in those bags anyway??? Hmmm... Tempting to grab one of those and take a peek inside.
Jonathan raised his hand and looked at the head girl "Is something standing on this certain place?" possibly a tree or a house? or a big rock?
Caroline hoped that Iris understood that she was asking that is in the end that was were it was no matter. She would ask more of a short term question this time. "Is the next place to go inside the castle? It the next place to go oustside?"
There now they could narrow it down, from there of where to go. She just wanted to stop play 20 questions and go to where the next clue was. She really wanted to know what it was but she didn't want to play these silly games to get to it. BUT she guessed she had too, rolling her eyes she waited for the answer to her questions and the others to ask. How much longer was this going to take.

"Nope," Sierra bluntly said, shaking her head, "not at all. Not even a little bit." On the word little, she held up her hand and showed a teeny tiny distance between her finger and thumb. "Not even that much." She gave Lola a look as the girl got louder and louder, carrying on about washing mouths out with soap. "Lola!" Sierra hissed. "Settle down! Oh, look! The prefects had finally decided to show up! Good. Now things could get underway. Sierra listened closely, figuring out that this was actually a game, or a treasure hunt maybe, that led to something. She did have two questions. She cleared her throat. "Do I have to work with any Hufflepuffs to get this done?" she asked. "Oh, and this something-or-another at the end of the hunt--will it benefit us in any way?" Because if it would, Sierra really wanted to find it. First, too.
RL gets in the way-I swear I was going to post him here anyway... IS IT TOO LATE?
Jimbo will set his turtle loose on you. { The Farley } "That's trademarked, don't use it."
He wasn't at all very loud when he walked into the Trophy Room. Especially since it seemed that he had actually walked into the middle of some sort of guessing game.
Right. So. What was going on?
He knew that the conversation he had overheard must have been right. Even though he wasn't one of the last ones out of the common room, he did lose a lot of time by pacing back and forth trying to decide whether making a trip to the Kitchens would benefit him anything more than the usual cupcakes, which in themselves were a very worthy prize.
He finally managed to convince himself by going down to the trophy rooms where he knew the first clue was most likely referring to by imagining that there would be a huge, huge plate of the most amazing tasting cupcakes as a reward for having figured out the first clue.
And that was how he ended up walking in on the question period.
He scanned over the list of things on the board and listened to a few questions that people were asking the prefects. What were they trying to figure out?
See, this is why he shouldn't have hesitated. Sometimes his obsession with all things candy really did put a damper in things. He looked around at the few people in the room and spotted someone who would be able to clear things up for him.

The HeadGirl started to speak and Salander fell silent, trying to understand the discussion but really everything was a little too much for his puny brain to handle all at one time. He felt someone near him and turned his head to see the CandyMan himself "Errrr.... game of twenty questions I think..." the Slytherin lad replied to the other, and with a slow shrug he added "... We're trying to figure out what to do and where to go next from them Badges...." he said thumbing at the Prefects.
"Hey Jimbo, you're pretty tight with Iris right? Why not just ask her directly and find out if theres anything..... profitable from all this effort." he whispered, giving his friend a mischievous grin and a knowing look.
He looked back at the board... they had some clues but that really wasnt helping make things any easier for his poor brain. Then again Iris did say ask anything so long as its a yes or no question... "Ok questions for yea, uhm.... will the next clue be found in the castle?" since there were questions that eventually they would be headed in the area of the Lake, he just wanted to find out if they should make a run for it right now. "Also, is the next clue found on these trophies and plaques? Cuz yknow we can do twenty questions in the common room, we dont hafta be here."

Aurora frowned at Iris. "Those badges are dangerous." she mumbled, imagining a cut on her head that clearly wasn't there.
"So... Is this place outside?" she asked. Because, you know, it was cold today!
"And is it man made or natural?" because. If it was man made it would be part of the castle or courtyard or lake or something rather than... Well... the forest. She shuddered, it better not be in the forest, it was too chilly for exploring.

They were here, they were all done with the preparations... And now it was time to let the show begin. Evan eyed the place again under his disillusionment charm, hands deep in his pockets and smiled when the first lot of people arrived. He opened his arms in a welcoming way but then remembered he was invisible. He closed them, shoved into his pockets again and watched as Iris took the spotlight to explain things. He was still under his charm, he didn't want to look like 'the second man' while the Head Girl spoke. No, he totally didn't still have a soft spot for that. Then, as she was finished, he lifted his charm and watched the first set of questions go to HER. It was as if the people ignored him... hmpf. Well, too bad who wanted to talk to only her because he was still THERE and he was answering to people right NOW.

"No," he reassured her with a small smile. He wouldn't like it either, and there was no 'getting in the lake'. Then, he shook his head again. "No," he added. There was no logic in making them come here, and then return, was there?

Well, worth a try.
Evan raised his eyebrows as the boy tried to peek in. He knew this one, he was the second big-brother of Daichi. Shame he never got to learn his name. He seemed to be one of the nice seeds of Slytherin, not very Slytherin-y, but oh well.
Even though this nice chap adressed his question at Iris AGAIN, he took the opportunity to answer him with a "Yes." He wanted to take the load off Iris' shoulders, after all. They could ask HIM too, he was right here... Being the Head Girl didn't mean much, y'see.

Ah, Sierra. Evan would have been surprised if the little second-year hadn't shown up. He smiled brightly at her, but his smile vanished upon hearing her question about Huffies. Yes, they were annoying most of the time and sometimes slow but right now this was fun and even they knew how to have it.
He simply rolled his eyes at the first one, he couldn't just answer that right now. Instead, he waved his hand impatiently and said "Yes... or no. Depends on your point of view." If she wanted to learn more about... well, yeah.

"No," he still felt the urge to clarify. Just in case. Then, after listening to what he got to say he said "No," again, considering his comments about the specificty of here. It wasn't a 'yes/no' thing, so he kept his mouth shut. Why they were doing this here was because this place reflected the Slytherin characteristics the most, but he didn't tell that. Maybe later... or maybe Iris would like to tell it, stepping over the rules of saying only 'yes/no'. He glanced over her, then turned his attention on the little girl whose name he had of course forgotten.

"Thank Sierra... guess them magic lamps aint so magical after all. Sounds like Vindy's been scammed by them rug salesman " Salander replied with a firm nod with his head. Yeah the flying rugs had lousy steering too.
"Huh?" Sierra asked. She gave Salamander a look of confusion. What was the older boy talking about? "Magic lamps? Rug salesman?" He'd turned his attention to an older Slytherin Sierra had yet to meet, though, and now Evan was talking, so she turned her attention to him.

He simply rolled his eyes at the first one, he couldn't just answer that right now. Instead, he waved his hand impatiently and said "Yes... or no. Depends on your point of view." If she wanted to learn more about... well, yeah.
Did he just roll his eyes at her?! Did he just wave his hand dismissively at her?! She silently gasped, and then she sort of frowned as he answered her second question. She got a yes and a no?! Well, what was she supposed to make of that?! He'd stuck her question in the 'Yes' category, though, so it satisfied her for now.
She looked over the clues, and then an idea came to her. "This place we need to go to--is it new, to us at least, this school year?" she asked. The place she had in mind fit all the clues, she thought, and technically, you didn't have to go in the lake to get there. Oh, and hmm... "Do people play a sport at this place?" That was a question just to do a bit of elimination.
Cynthia and Greg were meant to be forgotten. Lola only sighed, trying her best to hold back those fierce tears, but honestly, she also wanted to know where this place was. "Is this place near the classrooms outside?" She gave them the staring treatment--maybe they would freak out and blubber out the answer. Lola's stares were a weapon and she intended to use it wiiiiisely. "Is this place a room of some sort?"
Thinky thinky.

Where to go next? What is this - some sort of scavenger hunt?
But before he could properly decipher the things on the board and make his own question, Salander leaned over again.
Should that thought have occurred to him? Because it certainly hadn't. Then again, if this really was some sort of prefect run scavenger hunt thing, Jimbo wasn't even sure Monty would even give him any sort of information that could help. Especially considering he had not heard a single thing about this from her beforehand.
And what Salander was asking was pretty huge. Jimbo was about 99.9% sure that Monty wouldn't tell him a thing.
Giving it a loooooot of thought, Jimbo waited until the blackboard was completely updated, scanned it somewhat and then leaned over to whisper back, "I'll try." After this whole twenty questions thing, that is. "On one condition."
Because if he had to do this, he had better be gaining something.
"If she actually tells me, either we team up or you owe me information."
"Is the...next place a location used for classes?"

If she wasn't happy with his reaction, he wasn't happy with her question either! He eyed her as she thought, then smiled. He knew what she was thinking, and shook his head again. "Nope," he said, pressing the o. Yes, he was enjoying this as it took them some time to figure out.
Another "Nope," came at her second question. Just... where was she thinking of?!

Haha, they got a stare, eh? His smirk got bigger as he shoved his hands once again into the depths of his pockets, shifting his weight to his other foot.
"...not really," he said, pausing shortly as he thought it over. "No," he said again at her second question. Well... come to think about it... "or yes." Wait, now this was risky. It depended how you defined a room. But... he wouldn't call it a room. And he was the one answering it...
"No. No is my last answer." An answer that wouldn't mislead her, hopefully.

He eyed these two, Salander and ...James. He didn't like this whispering, but he didn't make the slightest attempt to listen either. It was none of his business. Maybe they were teaming up already. Whatever. Better for them to share some ideas, at least they would move faster.
"No," he said again and eyed the no section on the board. Almost none of their guesses were correct... Well, at least this eliminated some of the possibilities too, no?
SPOILER!!: BLACKBOARD
YES
"Is it near the lake?"
"Are there other... Prefects at this place? Or people who are students with extras?"
"Is something standing on this certain place?"
"It the next place to go oustside?"
"Oh, and this something-or-another at the end of the hunt--will it benefit us in any way?"
NO
"Will the place take my FISH BABIES, CYNTHIA and GREG, into a place where they can enjoy life peacefully without my utmost care?"
"Are we going to have to fight some creature to get to it?"
"And is this treasure stuff somewhere where the lake had flooded before?"
"Is it near the Slytherin common room?"
"Would we have to go IN the lake to get it?"

Oh, for Merlin's sake! Had it not been for the fact there was some treasure she could benefit from, she'd have long since rolled her eyes, walked out the room, and been done with this. "Is this place in a location we can only visit on weekends?" she asked. If so, she lived there, and it was very much near the lake. "So they'd said they found the treasure one the grounds, but that necessarily mean they were heading out onto the grounds next? "Does our next location have anything to do with a tree or plants?"

Lola was rarely angered but this showed failure and she utterly hated failing. And with so many attempts too.
"Do stars and fishes have any relevance to this place?" Those were the shapes of the cookies after all. No, they wouldn't be called cookies in her book. They be called her babies. Except the stars. Lola Jones did not have any star-babies. Because they would obviously be outmatched by the REAAAAAL star *cough*HEROBVIOUSLY*cough* and she didn't want those cookies to feel bad, would she?!
Moving along with her next question, "Will you stop saying no?"
PLEASE.

Even with the clues are given out, Aiden still could not guess the answer. She better starts asking before the questions limit is reached."Is it on/in the lake?"
Lake.. No... Probably not... There had been too many questions there... Hmm, it had to be to do with water... Lake, river, pond, fountain, lagoon, brook, stream, rain, sea, ocean... SO MANY TYPES OF WATER!!!!!
Oooh... "Is there... moving water involved?" because if there was then it wasn't the lake...
Hmmm...
[ooc: I'm sat with Nixy! (Iris) right now and she says sorry for the confusion but there is no limit to the questions overall-she was too tired to think of another name instead of 20 questions... silly Jess!]
Talon had thought that it was the ship. But if it didn't move, then it couldn't be. Si he asked "Is it larger than this room?"
...Evan paused before answering. This room was enormous, after all... He eyed the board again with a frown for a moment to decide if it mislead them in any way. It were the questions THEY asked, but still... Then, after a minute's study, he turned to the boy.
"I guess no... I'm not really sure though," he said, shrugging. How could he know that?!

Ah, much easier questions. Evan smiled, relieved to be answering with confidence and only yes/no, no more words or stepping over the rules of explanations.
"No..." He bit his lower lip in thought for the second question. Ugh, why were they asking questions that were right in the middle?!
"Yes," he said, hesitantly. Not necessarily trees, but there were some flowers, right? Right?! Why wasn't Iris answering these questions anyway, she was the girl one here and she must have paid much more attention to these than him.

...er? Right. It diiid! "Yes." Finally, a yes, the second in row after Sierra's clever question. These two should signify something finally.
And at her second question he chuckled, confirming her again with another "Yes." Yeah, it felt to confirm people at last. After a loooong row of rejection.

Aaaand, this question had been asked many times in different ways. People were either not paying enough attention, or they didn't read the board at all. Anyways, to answer it...
"No." And a fierce one, too.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise. This one was clever. And she was just a firstie! Wow, Evan was really impressed. See, this new generation was top quality with this name-long-forgotten girl and Daichi.
"Yes," he said, smirking. She probably got the answer. Very likely.

SHE HAD IT!!!!!!!!!!
"Oh! I KNOW!" she thought so anyway...
... And then Evan tried to take over. Sure, they were supposed to me a "team" but they were both too stubborn to do that. Iris knew this perfectly well. As the boy got bombarded with incorrect guesses, Iris leant against the blackboard; waving her wand at the chalk, instructing it to update the board.
As Aurora The First Year called out that she might have the answer, Iris non-verbally cast Muffliato over everyone but herself, Evan and Aurora.
Smirking slightly, Iris was clearly impressed with the First Year's skills. Lifting the spell, she picked up one of the green bags and threw it to the girl. "It won't open until you get to the next location, so don't bother trying to force it open before then. Don't lose it, either... the contents are vital if you want to carry on."
Glancing to the rest of the students, she leant back against the blackboard. "C'mon, you lot... if a First Year can figure it out from the clues you've got on the board, then surely the rest of you can, too..."

OOC: Please read all of the questions on the blackboard before asking your own. Asking a question that's already on there won't change the answer. Thaaanks.
OOC #2: Once you've PM'd me or Deniiz, make sure to post in this thread saying you think you have it, so one of us can reply to you like I have done with AuroraQuinn in this post. It's the easiest way for us to hand out the bags, you see. Thanks, again. <3

Whaaaat?
How the heck did a first year get it first before SHE did?! Eying the young girl, Evelyn scoffed quietly before taking a look at the blackboard again. Maybe it was just the stress of the year that was blocking her obvious genius brain, but she was having a hard time with this truth be told.
Rubbing her eyes, she leaned her head against the wall behind her before crossing her arms and once again, staring at the questions on the board. Huh. If a firstie could get it, than so could she. In fact, that just made her think faster about it.

"I have an answer." Just, putting that out there.
The Head Girl listened to Evelyn's answer, nodding to confirm that she'd figured the next location out. She picked up a bag - this time it was a silver bag - and handed it to Evelyn.
Right. Two people had figured it out. Hopefully the rest wouldn't be far behind.

Caroline stared at the blackboard. Looking at mostly the answers under yes. As she tried to work it out a first year walked up to the prefects, with the answer. Caroline really thought about it this time working it out there were only a few places in the grounds that is could be. She watched as Evelyn walked up. Now she had it figure it out. She throught it over for a few more minutes, she a feeling that this was it. "I've got it."
Lola pouted, wondering if sympathy could get them to just give her the answer. Why did it have to be so hard? She didn't deserve to think that much. She eyed the blackboard of clues and thought... Merlin! Someone already got it?! It was a hassle and this really only pressured her so much more on finding the answer. What if she never got it?! AND THEY WOULD ALL LEAVE WITHOUT HER?! That was her biggest fear right now and the frustration brought out deep rage in her eyes. Might as well put a green wig right now. Thinking... that last clue was incredibly important. Oh how she just wished for the answer right now! The world was a cruel, cruel place filled with these scavenger hunts that she never really succeeded in doing.
After much thinking and thought, something clicked. For whatever reason, Lola had an EPIPHANY AND AND... What if it was wrong and then had to start all over again?! That would be horrible!
"I think I've got it, Ms. Prefect!"
Lola stumbled over to her and she poked the girl on the shoulder to see if it had been REALLY a Disillusionment Charm. "You're real!" That was amazing. Although she secretly, DESPERATELY craved for an imaginary friend... "Do you want to meet my fish babies?! Here's Debbie... Debbie number TWO..." Then she introduced Simon, Paula, and Randy! Oh wait. She was here to give her possible answer and all.
