Ari was very happy to see Vashti, she had actually missed her since they finished their shopping on Diagon Alley and parted. 'Thank you. I'm proud to be a Gryffie. I wasn't sure I had it in me, but I guess there must be something that separates me from my family.' she mused.'At least they were okay with it, although they hoped for Ravenclaw, as I told you in summer.' the girl added.

'I didn't do much, just prepared for school, spent time with my family and my Muggle friends, but nothing else.' she replied. 'Did you have any classes yet? What do you think about the new professors?' Of course, for Ari they were all new...

The trophy room was clearly one of Gwen’s favourite places ever! She actually established this as soon as she walked into the room. She felt really proud of being a Ravenclaw after having seen all those trophies.

"That's good," Vashti replied with a smile. It would've been awful if, after all their reassurances that they didn't mind whether Ari was a Ravenclaw or not, her family got all upset when she actually ended up in a house that wasn't Ravenclaw. "Do you like your housemates? How's your common room and dorms?" Vashti had always kind of wished she could get a peek at the other common rooms, just to see what they were like and how the students got into them. They probably didn't have to solve a riddle everytime they wanted to go in.

"A few, yeah." She nodded and then kind of shrugged at the question about the new professors. "Most of them don't seem too bad." Others - mainly one - on the other hand, were just...strange, and not even in a good way.

'Yes. I didn't expect anything different. My mum is my best friend, she would have been content enough with any House. Although she did tell me Gryffindor was right up there after Ravenclaw on her list of preferences.' the firstie chuckled. 'It was more difficult with my grandparents, who value tradition the most, but they came to terms with it, anyway.' And that was all that mattered. Since she had never met her father, his opinion didn't really matter, if he even had one.

'Oh, yes, my housemates are great.' Ari nodded. 'And the common room is very welcoming and comfortable, although rather noisy at times. And the dormitories are spacious, but sometimes I miss having a bedroom of my own and not sharing it.' the girl narrated. 'Have you met any first year Ravenclaws? What do you think of them?' she asked Vashti. 'Two of my best friends are first year Ravenclaws. Melina and Gwen.' Maybe she knew them.

'I know. I really like Professor Cerulean. And the Care of Magical Creatures Professor. And Professor Hadley. Oh, and Professor Zookara!' Ariadne enumerated. 'But I'm kind of terrified of Shaw.' she confessed.

Vashti grinned. "Where are the other two houses on her list?" she asked, curious. she herself never could quite make up her mind what house she would've liked if she hadn't been sorted into Ravenclaw. Each one seemed more appealing on different days and during certain circumstances. "I'm glad your grandparents are okay with it." Sometimes the older someone was, the less able they were to accept change. At least that was what Vashti had often observed. Ari sounded like she had a great family.

The Ravenclaw nodded in understanding. "That's how I felt too in my first year," she replied. "You get used to the sharing the room thing after awhile, though I do kinda wish we could all have our own rooms, even just a small-sized one. You'd think a big castle like this would have something like that." Alas, it didn't.

And now the topic had shifted to Ravenclaw firsties. Had Vashti met any of the first years in her house? She remembered meeting a second year as well as first years in the other houses, like Ari, but she didn't recall meeting any from her own house. How sad! "I'm afraid I haven't - or if I have, I don't remember it at all." Curse her awful memory. She blamed all the studying she'd been doing. "Perhaps you could introduce me to them some time."

Vashti continued smiling at the professors Ariadne listed off. "Same here. They're all pretty great," she said. "Most of the professors are really." Except for THAT one. "I think most people are, and I don't understand why he's here. He doesn't seem at all qualified to be our Transfiguration professor." Or, y'know, whatever HE wanted to call it since he apparently didn't like the word "professor".

Nika made her way to the trophy with her note from Isobel. She was supposed to meet the girl in the trophy room, but the question was why? Hmmm? Well Nika skipped over there anyways and her curiosity was practically eating, NOM NOM. Now to find out why she was asked to come here!

'To be honest, she told me Slytherin comes third. She says Hufflepuffs are too sweet for their own good.' Ari chuckled. 'But I don't know...I have very many friends in both Hufflepuff and Slytherin.' she smiled. 'Thank you. I'm happy too. I love them very much, I wouldn't want to disappoint them. The only one who didn't pressure me at all was my uncle Tristan, mum's brother. He's so much fun, we always go swimming together. He's been the closest thing I had to a father-figure.' Ooops. Too much talking. Well, Vashti could guess the truth now. 'Anyways, tell me about your family.' the firstie tried to change the subject.

'Right. There would be enough space for everyone to have a tiny room of their own. But maybe there's a purpose in all this, hm? Maybe we're supposed to develop our social skills or something.' the girl mused. Everything at Hogwarts was there with a purpose, right?

'Introduce you to them? Sure, I'd love to. I'm sure you'd like them, you certainly must have a lot in common, since you're all Ravenclaws.' she smiled. And then back to Shaw. 'The chainsaw really gave me the creeps. Do you think the Headmaster knows about this?' the firstie wondered.

Maybelle skipped into the trophy room, looking for anyone involved in their evil plan. She tapped Nika on the shoulder, once she found her of course. "Why hello, Nika." She greeted happily. Now, for Isobel to show up.. :evillaugh

Isobel walked in to the Trophy room. She had been planning on getting there first, but she figured she might not be because she had no idea where the Trophy room was. When she got there she found Maybelle and Nika already there. "Hey guys," she said deviously. Nika didn't know what the two girls were deviously planning.

Jaymie skipped in to the room. She had a general idea of what was going on; she had forced her sister to tell her. She didn't know exactly what was going on though. Or who else would be there. When she was Nika she grinned and skipped over to her. "Hey Nik," she said with a grin.

Maybelle saw more people arrive. Isobel, followed by Mikey and Jaymie. She grinned with pure excitement and a little bit deviously. "Hey guys." She said, greeting them all. She smiled at the group, then winked at Isobel, letting her know that this was it, the greatness was about to start..once more people came.. :whistle:

Isobel just looked at Mikey. How did he come up with that? Geez. Isobel laughed. "Yes Mikey," she said when she stopped laughing. "We're going to straighten your hair and put makeup on you." She didn't see why anyone would want to straighten his hair though, it looked so cool.

Isobel saw Nulu walk in and she smiled and skipped over to her best friend. "Well..." she looked around. "I think there's enough people here now. Maybelle and I can now tell you." She paused dramatically and looked around at everyone. "We are declaring National Hug A Slytherin Day." Her meaning was pretty obvious, they should be able to figure out what they were going to do. She paused and waited for that to sink in.

Nika jumped up and gave her friend a hug. "Hey Jay!" Why are there so many people coming now? Hmmm.... Nika could tell that whatever they were planning it is going to be fun.

Nika smiled at Maybelle and raised an eyebrow out of curiosity. Hopefully they would find out what was going on here.

Nika smiled at Mikey as he walked in to the room too. "Hiya! Are you here to do whatever we're here for too?" Well that didn't make any sense what so ever but maybe it would once they found out what they were all there for in the first place.

Maybelle smiled at Mikey. "This would be EXACTLY what we are doing, anybody bring the make-up?" She asked seriously, but ended up laughing. "No, Mikey, no makeovers, just what Isobel said...National Hug A Slytherin Day." She smiled, knowing this was going to be fun. "Well..I suppose some rules are important." Maybelle started. "First, hug Slytherins, simple rule. Second, count how many you hug. Third, don't get hexed, and if you do get hexed...don't blame either Isobel or I. It is your choice to participate in NHASD, so if you are hexed, or severely injured, it's not our problem." Maybelle finished with a nod of her head.

rubbing his cheek " I got a feeling I got a lot of slaps coming,,,, but I am up for it" getting a sly lil smirk on his face " if we get Lefay do it count twice"

Isobel grinned at Mikey. "Yeah, but it's in the rules that you can't blame us for any injuries." It wasn't their problem. She laughed. "Yeah, Lafay is definately double points. But I'm coming with you." She grinned. Then she looked around. "Everyone ready? GO!"

"National Hug A Slytherin Day? Awesome!" Ariana exclaimed. This was going to be amazingly fun! Some of those Slytherins could get pretty grouchy... "Of course we wont blame it on you, if a Slytherin gets annoyed, it's their fault." You couldn't blame these nice innocent people for something a mean, nasty Slytherin did!

Before Isobel left she heard a girl she hadn't noticed before ask if they could have T-shirts. "That would be EPIC!" She exclaimed.

"Its too bad technology doesn't work in Hogwarts, I know a website... maybe I could try to find a spell to put words on cloth?" Ariana did know a website, it was quite cool actually. But, unfortunately, there was no technology at Hogwarts. Sigh. "Epic indeed it would be."

Simon looked around had he missed them, well in someways he hoped he had because if he had then he didn't have to hug a Slytherin and there was one Slytherin he didn't want to hug but if there was a few people with him he would go and do it and that was Lafay he had offered to hug her last term in a lesson but she had just ignored him and Simon was upset about that.
