Kurumi jumped when she felt someone tap her shoulder. After performing an awkward sort of jump spin and just narrowly avoiding smacking whoever it was in the face with her broom, Kurumi was able to calm her racing heart enough to see the unfamiliar face of a Slytherin boy. Hopefully he wouldn't hex her for her sudden movements or anything.

"Y-Yes," she said with a slight bow. Well, trying to fly might be the more appropriate term for now. "I-I don't believe we have met before. My name is Kurumi." She bowed her head slightly again.

Laughing, Desmond managed to block the broom before it hit him square in the face. "whooaaa." he breathed out and straightened back out. "Watch where your throwing that." he said half-heartedly.

'Im desmond" He responded after hearing her name. And she bowed. Wow. Guess that was the way she was brought up. "Nice to meet you Ku... Ku... whatever you said your name was." he said laughing. he was never good at names. "So you fly?"

Kurumi blinked a few times and her cheeks flushed. She hadn't intended to throw something at him - not to mention that she wasn't throwing anything. "S-S-Sorry, I was just...startled, that's all." As if that wasn't obvious enough.

Leaning her broom against her shoulder now, Kurumi began tugging on her hair. "It's Kurumi..." she repeated cocking an eyebrow at him. "It's nice to meet you, Desmond." Or it would be if he would stop being so smug and say her name properly instead of simply brushing the fact that he hadn't caught it under the rug so to speak. "I...I wouldn't say that it is a hobby of mine, really." She shuffled her feet a bit. Talking about flying and Quidditch was always awkward for her. "I play for the Gryffindor house team." And she was just going to leave that there for now.

"Kurumi. Got it." he said nodding and looking around the pitch. Looking back at her he noticed that she seemed very unsure of what to do with her body and very very nervous. "Thats cool. I like flying but I dont play for any teams." he stated and watched her for a second more. "If Im bothering you I can leave. I dont mind. You seem very agitated that Im here." Way to go. State the obvious. be blunt. Scare her some more. He taunted himself.

"N-N-Not at all," Kurumi replied scratching her arm. "I just get a little apprehensive when it comes to flying." And some more shuffling of her feet and twirling her hair around her fingers. She was being silly, all this lack of confidence on a broom. She was the Seeker and had done a fair job at the first Gryffindor match of the season. Even caught the snitch once....but that didn't erase the thirteen years of self doubt.

Kurumi began scratching her arm. Was it possible that she was breaking out in hives again? She sure hoped not. She thought that she was over at least the initial fear of flying.

"I know we just met, but I am uncomfortable flying alone..." which is why she was still on the ground.

Watching her scratch her arm, Desmond's eyes opened a little wider though he tried to keep his face emotionless. Was she breaking out in hives from talking to him? He never thought of himself as that repulsive. He laughed in his ind. Well he was a Slytherin. Most were scared of him because of it.

Then she mentioned flying by herself. Maybe thats why she was breaking out. Not because of him. "Sure no prob. Lets see if you can keep up." he said winking and went over to a bench and unpacked his broom from his case. Most didnt keep thier brooms in cases but he didnt have alot of money and he wasnt taknig chances of his low class broom to have a broke broom to where he could never fly again.

Taking it out, he smiled at Kurumi and grabbed his broom sitting on it and taking off. About 200 ft in the air he stopped and waited onher.

What was it with boys and winking? Still, no one's wink beat out Treyen's.

Kurumi watched as Desmond unpacked his broom from a case. She had never seen anyone keep their broom in a case before. Should she be doing that? Kurumi glanced down at the broom handle where Simon's name was carved into the wood. The captain hadn't mentioned anything about a case. Perhaps she should ask the older Slytherin about it. But, before she could, he was already zooming through the air and was a medium sized dot in the sky.

Swallowing, and scratching her arms a bit more, Kurumi mounted her broom and took off the ground at a decent speed - not as quickly as she had during her first match, but still so much faster than usual - and stopped when she was about 80 feet or so in the air and looked up.

"I-I-I don't think I have ever gone t-t-t-that high..." she called up to him. Perhaps she had during the match but just not noticed? No, she would be staying right around here for a little bit.

Desmond couldnt help but laugh as she stopped about 80 ft in the air. Swooping down to her he smiled. "Not a risk taker? Thats fine." Looking around the pitch, he could imagine the students cheering him on. It was a rather impressive thought. Too bad he didnt do school sports. Too many people. He wasnt good with a huge crowd.

"I suppose it isn't very Gryffindor of me to say yes to that question, is it?" she laughed nervously as she leaned over her broom a bit to look at the ground. She wasn't having that nauseating feeling of vertigo that she sometimes got towards the beginning of the term. It wasn't even that she had a fear of heights. There was just something about being on a broom without any protective walls that frightened her. Perhaps she could cast a Shield Charm on her and it could form a bubble around her? Kurumi knew she was being a bit ridiculous.

"You seem very comfortable on a broom," she observed looking over at him. "You thought about trying out for Quidditch?"

Ah.... *swoosh* Aaron loved to fly. FLY, FLY, FLY, FLY, FLY. He's going to have to get his fill considering he won't be playing in the Gryffindor match. A GRYFFINDOR MATCH! Hmpf. Stupid transfiguration gone wrong... Anyway, the captain flew up high above the pitch and looked around. What to do...

Daichi couldn't WAIT for the upcoming match against Gryffindor! He had been pumped up the whole week and finally! their victory was coming closer. Sooo he found himself standing on the quidditch pitch to train. He held his school broom in his hand as he looked around in the sky. There weren't many familiar people... He pouted his lips at the thought he didn't see his friends any where and pushed himself off of the ground.

Flying through the sky, Daichi thought about what Evan had said, that he needed to work on his aiming..and he was right.. at his first match he had been so nervous that he missed a goal. He still felt bad about it.

He swooshed through the air as he saw someone familiar..Finally! and it waaass? .. ! "Cap'!!" the first year shouted and spurted his broom to climb higher. "Hiya Captain!" he greeted him with a smile and a wave of his hand. "Can't wait for the upcoming match! it's going to be awesooo...WOAH!" Daichi cut his sentence as he looked down at the ground. He had never flown so high before aaand..truth to be told , it was scary.. But he couldn't show his fear now! not in front of the captain! O_o. "Ehh.. i mean it's g-going to be awesome"

Doing some in place barrel rolls, Aaron had been messing around. Thinking about the upcoming match against Gryffindor. OKay... we win that... then we win again, and then we REALLY WIN!!! Aaron fantasized. Holding the championship, winning the house cup, shaking hands with Dumbledore...

Dumbledore?

Aaron shook off his thought when a little firstie flew up with him. "Hey, buddy!" he called to him. And as he was about to finish his thought, he got a little freaked out. Aaron was prepared to either catch him or bust out his want and do some EPIC SPELLS. "Be careful, there..." Aaron laughed because he could tell Daichi was holding in his... fear? "You guys are going to do great! I unfortunately won't be playing..." He paused and sighed. "Transfiguration.... Don't ask."

After Slytherin's victory over the Gryffindor's, the blonde Malfoy decided to head out to the Quidditch Pitch to have some fun. Maybe she would catch a game against another person- who knew the endless possibilities? Emma had to get ready for the next match against Ravenclaw. Getting onto her broom, she floated up into the air and rested there. Sitting and watching the clouds move.

Merlin's Beard.. Emma missed Fee and Alex terribly. Her Glitter Girl and Partner in crime. Where could the two be? Obviously not hanging together. But... still. She wondered if she would see one of them here today.

Fee made her way down to the Quidditch pitch.Even though it still kind of hurt that she hadnt made it into the team the girl had set herself a goal.Next term she would be on the team no freaking matter how.Soo a little practice wouldnt hurt right?Maybe some players where out and she could ask for some tips?Most of the people were nice so that shouldnt be the problem.

Approaching the practice pitch the Slytherin noticed a very familiar girl with her broom down there.Getting closer and closer the grin on the third years face got bigger and bigger.As shwe tip toed to her fake sister and tipped her on the shoulder from behind she really couldnt help but giggle."Heeeyyy Emmmaaaa",she squealed and hugged her friend tightly.

The blonde Malfoy heard her name being called and she was hugged by her only and favourite fake sister. Emma returned Fee's hug with a hug as well. Yeah! She felt happy- estatic to see her. "Fee!" she cried, her smile large with joy to see her again. "It's been too long. Way too long. How have you been? And Hugo?" asked the blonde in an excited voice.

Mental note: need to find Fee more often! She was disappointed in herself that she hadn't found Alex.. He had sort of just.. Disappeared.

Rafe flew a little more slowly that he would like, but he wanted Electra to feel as safe as possible and not further her fear of flying. Instead of a dive, he went in you a gradually landing. He hoped she was okay, but couldn't really tell. "Are you okay?" he asked as he hopped off the broom.

Oh, bloody hell I am gonna die. I'm gonna die at 13 years old! I HATE FLYING!! Elektra thought to herself. She was terrified. Elektra held on tightly not lookning down at the ground and just kept other things on her mind and she breathed in and out slowly. When the broom made the very gradual landing she looked around and she was relieved that was still in one piece. She looked over at Rafe and nodded hesitantly and then spoke. "Y-Yeah, I'm...ok."

Rafe couldn't help, but laugh. She looked like she was in a complete state of shock. "Here..." he said as he reached in his pocket and pulled out a small bottle of elixir. "It's a Euphoria Elixir, it will help calm the nerves." Rafe smiled. He'd never seen anyone so terrified of flying before. "I think we'll try with something simple, like mounting the broom." He held out his broom for her to take.

She rubbed her arm and she saw that he was laughing. Wow, this must have been really ridiculous of her to be THIS scared of flying. She took the elixir quickly feeling the effects starting to work and she started to feel much more calmer than she did. And now...the lesson began. "Mount it? That shouldn't be too hard right?" She said taking the broom and held it in her one hand and she looked at the broom then looked at Rafe.

Rafe would usually just tell her to kick off, but he didn't have a broom himself to go rescue her if something should go wrong. He then got on the broom right behind her and placed his hand on her arms to be kind of a guide. "I'll be right here okay, but you're going to do most of the work." Rafe took in a deep breath. "First, I want you to kick off with your feet, we should just go a few feet off the ground at first okay?" Once she got the feel of it, he would let her try completely on her own.

She held on the broom keeping the broom between her legs and she jumped a little after his hands were placed on her arms, but then she felt completely safe listening to him as she looked over her shoulder to him and she nodded and then looked down at her hands holding onto the broom hestiating to kick her feet up off the ground, but it was now or never. She kicked her feet off of the ground trusting Rafe completely feeling their bodies on the broom rise a little from the ground.

"Very nice!" Rafe was pleasantly surprised. She was keeping them steady and still above the ground. "Now when you want to go right or left, you just slightly lean in that direction, but not too far or you'll barrel roll." Rafe chuckled and brought his hands around her waist so she could have more control. "Is you want to go forward, lean that way, but not too deeply or you'll go into a dive. And then lean back if you want to stop. Eventually, it will just feel natural and you'll move with the broom and it will kinda...understand your movements."

Vindictus was cleaning up the stadium after the game when he watched two students - one Gryffindor and one Slytherin - appear. He stayed in the shadows and watched from behind his sunglasses. His jaw dropped when he saw the Gryffindor give the Slytherin something in a small bottle and then proceed to act as if HE were the Flying Instructor.

"Everyone out of the sky, NOW!" he ordered as he made himself known to the two.

She smiles softly feeling like she was actually getting better at this flying stuff. She chuckled softly. "I'm doing it. I'm actually doing it and I'm not flying like a maniac in the sky." she joked to herself. She felt his hands move away from her arms to her waist and she paused for a moment and then she leaned a little towards the right letting them go to the right a bit then brought the broom back forward. Alright, time to move on to actually moving forward.

Before Elektra could make another move on the broom she looked down and there he was. The one person she did not want to see right now. Vindictus himself. She started to panic a little and she looked back at Rafe. "Uhh..Rafe...what do I do? What do I do?"

Rafe was really amazed. They were barely a few feet off the ground, but she had a strong sense of direction. "You're doing great and staying rather relaxed!" He was very much surprised considering their flight over here. Rafe went with Elektra's movement as they rocked to the right a little and then began moving forward and an adequate speed. "Great maybe we can go high--"

But, before Rafe could finish he was interrupted by none other than Vindictus himself. Rafe had no idea why? The rules were it could be used for practice as long as one of the teams didn't have it reserved. Plus, it wasn't like they were attempting Starfish and Sticks or Wronski Feints. Just simple techniques. Rafe could feel her tense up. Elektra spoke of her previous flying experience with that man, and he didn't want her to start dreading flying again. Rafe wrapped his arms around the little second year and grabbed the handle. He turned the broom around and glided down just a few feet before his feet touch the ground. "Is there a problem sir?" Rafe asked with a raised eyebrow.
