She was very down to earth, almost literally. He tucked his hands in his pockets as he walked along the path.

"What is your favourite subject here?"he asked. Jai was not a nature loving, athletic wizard but he liked his books too. Ivory who spoke with clarity and confidence gave him an intellectual vibe which was confirmed by the book.

Alright so perhaps her cheeks went a bit pink at that comment. Ducking her head slightly so her bangs effectively hid her face for a second, Ivory gave a small laugh as they walked forward. "Thanks," Peering at him out of the corner of her eye, she continued with a smile. "I'l have to remember to wear leaves more often then."

Blinking a bit at his question, the Ravenclaw prefect brought up a hand to scratch her head in thought. "Favorite subject...." Well that was quite a tough question. There were so many..."Well, if I had to choose one," she spoke up with a small shrug of her slim shoulders. "It'd have to be transfiguration." Great, now he probably thought she was a complete nerd.

Looking up from the path, her eyes sought his with a smile. "What about you? What's yours?"

Jai smiled as he caught the fresh garden colour of pink appear in her cheeks. He rubbed at the back of his neck when he saw her looking at him and laughed when she said she would wear leaves more often."Now there's a new trend. I can just see it now."he said, looking up,"Ivory leaves hair accessories."

Turning back to her when she answered the question,"Nice. I like that one but for me it's a toss up between Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions. But for something that I'd really enjoy I'd have to say herbology."

His ears went a little pink as he said,"You must think that's weird huh? Big guy like me prefer tending to screaming baby mandrakes and teething tentaculas instead of facing boggarts."

Usually he told others Defense Against the Dark Arts but he's not sure why he told Ivory Herbology.

She was about to bend over and get the book but then the suspect came.

Ohh so it wasn't done on purpose. Whew. Zara sighed of relief, at least no one was mad at her or bullying her. It was an honest accident. "Yeah just a bump," she smiled.

"Are you sure? I'm so sorry " Millie said, picking up her book and looking at the girl she hit. "I swear I hit someone whenever I don't concentrate on where I'm going" she said, more to herself than anything. And it was true, she had hit some girl called Hallie, some weird Damon dude and who knows who else. "Are you sure you're not like dying or something?" smooth Mill. real smooth.

Especially when you can walk around or talk to someone outside and enjoy your time.

She skipped around looking for someone out there to talk to. The nice thing about Hogwarts was that you can go out and talk to anyone you want, whenever you want and no one will think your crazy. She was lost in her thoughts and forgot to pay attention to where she was headed. Which she seemed to do an awful lot. She closed her eyes and the next thing she knew.

BAM.

She had bumped into someone and fallen on the floor. Uh oh. Clumsy Nika is back again. She scrambled to get back on her feet and shoved some random papers back into her bag as she did so. "Erm Sorry." She said looking up at the person who she managed to knock right into.

Caiden certainly wasn't paying attention to much other than the fact that it was actually pleasant weather out currently. Suddenly, he felt something knock into him and was alarmed to look down and see it was a girl.

Before he could help her up, the girl seemed to scramble onto her feet as if nothing had happened.

"Are you alright there?" he asked, wondering if she had hurt herself when she slipped or whatever she happened to do.

"Erm yeah think so." She said checking her arms and then her legs for any blood. Yeah okay nothing, that's good. "It's nothing. I'm quite used to falling by now." She waved it off as if it was no big deal and for Nika it really wasn't. Falling was her middle name. Not literally though because that would be weird.

"I'm Nika by the way. Second year Lion." She said introducing herself to the boy.

Tayla kept running. She ran to the Pathways from Gryffindor Tower. She ran until her sides hurt. Tayla slowed down and tried to catch her breath, leaning on a tree. She tried to remember the dream.

She was playing Quidditch with Grandpa Ric. He was alive again. Then there was Grandma Guita, who was crying and saying something about the locket she gave Tayla and which Tayla always wore around her neck.

"I'll know when it's time..." Tayla remembered her grandmother telling her in the dream. "I'll know when what is time?"

Tayla held the locket in her hand. She and her friend Ari may have found a way to open it, but the charm was a difficult one to break.

Tayla sighed and closed her eyes, trying to focus on Grandpa Ric being alive again, of him helping her learn Quidditch. It was a good thought.

A tear fell from Tayla's eyes. Maybe that's why she felt so bad when she woke up. Not because of Grandma Guita and whatever she was saying about the locket, but because she, Tayla, missed Grandpa Ric so much.

Tayla shook her head. No point in crying. He was gone. He wouldn't want her to waste time crying.

"He'd want me to be on a broom," Tayla said to herself. She started running again, this time towards the Quidditch pitch. She had to fly.

Nahhh. Probably not.

Where...where....where....this was always a problem. There are about a lot of places in the castle they both could go to-and Heather felt her stomach growl. She blushed at it, it was a rather loud growl. Quite a curiosity why the growl was loud, she did have her meals at their right times.

"I guess I'm hungry..." she chuckled. "you want to go grab a snack at the kitchens? I sure do hope they have some chocolate cake."

Her? Well, why was she there? Zara forgot. OH NO, maybe she lost her memory?! Did she? No, she knows her name is Zara. She knows her whole name is Danielle Zara Vandeviere Griffiths. She knows she's eleven. She knows her birthday is on December 18. She knows she lives in Godric's Hollow. She knows her parents are Daniel Zachary Griffiths and Isabelle Francesca Griffiths (née Vandeviere). So probably, nothing's wrong with her brain.

"Erm," she said, stalling perhaps as she was still trying to remember where she was going. OH! "I was just walking around really, no place else to go." She finished with a wide grin. Ahh satisfaction.

"Cool" Millie said. Well she couldn't say it wasn't, it was basically all she ever did. Then BRAIN!FART "I'm Millie by the way. Seventh year, Hufflepuff" she said extending her hand to the kid. WHAT. She just realised she hadn't introduced herself, a little rude really.

Ohh right. Introductions. That was something Zara didn't remember. Hahah.

"Nice to meet you, Millie," Zara smiled. Oohh, seventh year. "I'm Zara. Danielle Zara Griffiths," she grinned as she shook hands with Millie. Did she have to say she was a first year? It's probably obvious already right? Yeah it is. Ickle firsties. *groan*

And she was a Gryffindor. She didn't need to say that too right? It was on her robes anyway.

Yup. Millie was a little weird today. She'd been around Sammy too much. That was her problem. HER COUSIN. "Nice to meet you as well" she said with a smile. WELL NOW WHAT. "How are you liking Hogwarts?" WOO. Go Millie and your conversation improvisation.

The boy shrugged. "Well, I try to... as much as I can." And it certainly was much easier since he got to Hogwarts. So many people to prove himself to, and so much to learn. One day, he would be Head Boy, and in a few years time, he would be head master of this school. No doubt about it. Wooow, Viola's next comment startled him, but in a good way. "Are you serious? That makes me so happy, yknow." Slytherins were mean, and if he wasn't like a Slytherin, did that mean that he was nice? Obviously, her niceness was short-lived. "Maybe you should keep your honesty to yourself." There was nothing wrong with telling fibs to make someone feel good now, was there?

UH-OW. "WATCHU DO THAT FOR?" He over exaggerated, holding his head right after she smacked him. "I was just being polite, Viola." The third year replied, followed by a huff. Why was he there, being bullied by a girl who was younger than him? Frown. "Yes, I can spell it now." Thank you, very much. It was other things such as 'SLYTHERIN' that he struggled spelling. Not to mention the other houses. Jamie hadn't even attempted Gryffindor.

The niceness? From him? Ohhh, no, no, no. "I could ask you the same question!" Maybe they had stepped onto the next level of friendship, and were actually beginning to be nice to each other? Yea, he hoped so. Jamie winked at her, then had a curious thought. "So.. what are you doing for your singing part of the assignment?" Was the fact that he just sang to Viola an excuse to say that he had already done it? Hmmm....

Errm... "Pirates of New Zealand, I think." He had never actually seen it, but he had watched a couple of trailers. It didn't exactly show in the wizarding world and he was too afraid to enter a muggle cinema. Shaking his train of thought away, Jamie continued, "...all I know is that there is an awesome pirate who... talks kinda funnily... and he... saves the day?" Isn't that what always happened in muggle movies? Eh.. Beaming even brighter when she didn't push him away from the hug, Jamie felt a bit better about the running. At least he wasn't fighting off insults anymore.

Jealous? OF WHAT? "Don't be stupid." Jamie scratched his head awkwardly, and looked away from Viola. Stupid move from him because it just made it obvious that he was uncomfortable and blatantly LYING. "I'm always nice!" He said in slight disbelief at her. "We're friends, aren't we? Aren't friends nice to each other all the time?" Yuhuh! Jamie and Viola were friends now, and if she didn't really believe that then that kinda did suck.

Talking in front of a mirror! OMG, that was one of Jamie's daily things to do! He grinned at the prospect, of going to a PUBLIC, yes, public, MIRROR and talking about how freaking awesome he was. What a great assignment. As Viola continued, the third year bolted to a stop. "Let's do meditation! Right now!" And with that, he sat down, crossed his legs and...

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........."

Viola slowed down a bit. Bleh. She was tired. Again. And, she was thirsty. She brushed the sweat off her forehead. Ew. Disgusting! Viola smiled. She kinda felt sorry for him. “Well, if you want me to praise you, I’m up for it. Just to make you feel good.” Nope, she didn’t really mind doing that. He was her friend, after all. But, "Not all the time, though." She had to make that clear. Aw! “Glad to know.” Viola said, turning slightly pink. Anyway, Viola was glad that SHE was a huffie. Yep, she was proud to be a Hufflepuff. Oh. “Sorry.” Viola mumbled. But, what he said…was rude. Like, really rude.

“I felt like it AND you deserved it.” Viola grinned. “Oh, You were being polite?” Viola asked, raising an eyebrow. Huh. He was annoyed. Woot. Viola liked annoying him. “There is no need to get so irritated. I was just teasing you, that's all." Pfft. "You’ve hurt my feelings now.” Viola said, trying really hard to control her laughter.

“Well, I just wanted to give you a break!” They being friends and all. “If you want me to continue being a smartie..?” LOL. “You being nice is surprising.” Yep, it was. "I was just kidding.” She added, hastily. No matter how hard it was, she would try not to annoy him. Every minute. No. No. No. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Urgh! She couldn’t believe this was happening. “Well, I’ve not really thought about it.” This was bad. Terrible. She couldn’t sing to save her life. Anyway, she wasn’t going to sing in front of him and embarrass herself. Nope. Not going to happen.

Pirates of New Zealand? What kind of a name was that? Huh. The muggle movies always had such funny names. “Is that actually a movie?” And, that sounds really stupid. Who would want to watch a pirate talk in a funny way. Not interested, thank you. “And, this movie is supposed to be popular?” Viola asked, surprised. If it was, she could only feel sorry for the muggles. How could they see such films? Weird. She had watched a lot of muggle movies over the summer. But, only the ones that had Hugh Dancy in it. Yep.

Viola grinned. “Aw. You’re jealous. That’s sweet.” She didn’t add anything further. Nope. She didn’t want to make him any more uncomfortable than he already was. “You’re joking, right?” Viola snorted with laughter. Well.. ”Yep. We’re friends but THAT does not mean that we should be nice to each other all the time!” Viola couldn’t be nice and polite all the time. That’s impossible. Like, really hard. Just for the record, "You’re a good friend." Viola mumbled, conscious of the fact that she was inflating his already inflated ego. But, she wanted to say it.

What? Where was Jamie? She came to an abrupt stop before turning around. Huh? What was he doing? She jogged towards him and asked, “You want to meditate right now?” Oh jeez. “Like, now? Don’t you want to complete the running first?" Bleh. Viola didn't want to meditate. At all. It was such a boring task. But, she had to do it, if she wanted to finish the stupid DADA assignment.

Zara smiled, she was beginning to actually like the seventh year. Until she asked the question. *sigh*

It was the question all over again. Zara needed to count how many times people asked her that. What should she answer now? Fine? Great? Fun? Cool? Awesome? Nice? Good?

"Hogwarts is.." Searching for a new word to answer, she can only manage, "Uhm. It's.." What word hasn't she used before? Uhhhhhh.

"..great." Again, she answered great since she couldn't look for a better word. She's said that about four times already. Well, of course Hogwarts is great, right? Yeah. Right.

"Are you okay?" Jamie asked, noticing Viola looking a bit peaky and sweaty again. Did she need another sandwich? The Slytherin raised an eyebrow at her. Since when was she so happy to praise him? It was only moments ago that she said that he was uncool. Eh, whatever. "That would be just lovely." He said simply, not wanting to over exaggerate his happiness. Because that clearly annoyed her too much. OH, oh.... Jamie smirked, "what was that?" Didn't quite catch it!

"Ouch." He said, making a face of utter sorrow. "I'm starting to think YOU were put in the wrong house, too!" What ever happened to Hufflepuffs being the nicest people on the planet? Jamie's perception of them was tarnished forever. Teasing, of course. He got that all the time. "What have I done?" He asked rather coldly. Honestly, girls were SO unreadable.

Owwhhh, only a break? "How about we stay nice forever." Both of them, that is. "If I am ever mean to you again, I give you permission to hex me with a charm of your choice." As long as it wasn't unforgivable, of course. AND, only if he could do the same if she were mean. Oh, the fun that would bring. SMUG. Bwahahah, "well, you gotta do it sooner or later." HE just did it, so it was only fair for Viola to do it, too. Jamie stared at her expectantly, with a playful smile on his face.

"Yes, it is a movie! And it is VERY popular. Got high ratings, it did." Yes, because he was that LAME to look. He got the impression that Viola wasn't impressed by the sounds of the movie. Well... there were plenty worse films in the muggle world for her to be worried about! Not 'Pirates of New Zealand'. "You know, the only rubbish films that muggles make, are the ones about sparkly vampires." Those were quite terrifying.

"I JUST SAID I WEREN'T!" Why would he be jealous? Why, why, oh why? Jamie picked up the speed on his running, hoping that Viola wouldn't be able to catch up. And also, to run away from the current conversation. OH... so her vision of friendship was based around throwing insults everywhere? Jamie stared at her, bewildered. "What kind of friendships are YOU in, then?!" They can't be very happy ones, surely. Of course, nothing could prepare him for her next comment. It made him feel all fluffy inside. Daww. "Really, uhh? Thanks, Viola. You are, too." He scratched his head, and now felt all nervous and uncomfortable.

Curse his pathetic antics!

Jamie stopped meditating for a moment and looked up, frustratingly, at Viola. Why interrupt him, huh? "Why not? Might as well do as much as we can, and it will be a nice break from running." How much running had they done now? 6,000,000 miles? "...nah, we'll carry on with it later." Yes, meditating now would be clever.

As long as it wasn't unforgivable, of course.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Just..” Viola stopped. Gosh, she was feeling really thirsty. “Do you happen to have water with you?” Urgh. She felt so bad asking him. But, she felt like she was going to just collapse any second. Ugh. Back to his old self again. “You don’t have to look so surprised, you know. I’m not THAT mean.” Pfft. She really wasn’t. Yeah, right. “Nothing. I’m not going to say that again.” She definitely wasn’t going to apologize. Again.

“What?” Viola came to a stop. She couldn’t believe that he actually said that. “Gosh, are you serious? You think I should have been in Slytherin?” She felt SO bad, that it hurt. She continued to run, feeling terrible. Horrible. Ugh, but why did it hurt her so much? “Nothing. You just hurt my feelings, that’s all.” She said, not looking at him. She almost felt like crying. Almost.

“Oh, really?” That sounded like a good idea although she wasn’t sure that she would be able to be nice. “Great. And, that applies to me as well, right?” Viola grinned. She really wish it didn’t but anyway..it sounded like fun. Real fun. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why was he doing this to her? It was terrible. “You’re being mean, you know? Anyway, if you think I’m going to sing right now, you’re sadly mistaken. I’m like the worst singer ever and I’ve no intention of embarrassing myself.” Yep. That’s it. She said it. WOOT.

LOL. He kept track of muggle movies? “You sound like-“ Ugh. The deal. She didn’t want to get hexed..at least, not right now. “Well, great.” Viola said, sounding disappointed. Anyway, she didn’t really watch movies that had pirates in it. How boring. Bleh. “Oh yeah. I watched some movie called Twilight?” Was that it? Anyway..”It was like bad. Really bad. Horrible, in fact.

Okay. That’s it. “Right. It was a JOKE! Why are you taking it so seriously? And most importantly, why are you yelling? I’m not deaf, you know? Unless..” Viola grinned. “You really are jealous.” She knew she was making him mad. Smirk. He started running really fast. She caught up with soon enough, even though her legs were aching badly. “Will you just stop acting like a kid?" OOH! “People don’t have to be nice and polite to each other to be friends, you know. If they are, they're not really friends.” Awesome. She was proud of herself. "Well, thanks.” Viola blushed.

Viola burst out laughing. “You’re the most hilarious guy on earth. You know that, right?” Viola sat down, cross legged and looked at him. “We are supposed to be meditating about a role model, I think..” Viola frowned.

Stepping to the side as he moved the rocks, she set her own bag down and pulled a small hair ribbon from within, she pulled her hair up. "Evan, love. You know sometimes we ladies can really surprise you," she replied with a wink.

Looking at their options, she turned to Bissy. "I think we should pick that goal," she nodded as she pointed toward the goal closest to them. It really didn't matter just which goal they wanted really, as both were pretty identical and all.

Listening to Evan, she nodded and bent over to stretch a bit. She didn't want to injure herself with quidditch coming up and all.

Bissy chuckled at Mina's calling Evan 'handsome'. She eyed Mina and Evan for a few seconds; she thought they were a nice couple and smiled faintly to herslef. She wished Mina hadn't talked like that. Evan was about to become a professional football player; how could they possibly beat him? She hoped they would.

She watched Evan mark the goals by lavitating rocks and listened to his words carefully. However, she couldn't understand; what were penalties and cards? She lamely nodded with blank eyes and looked at the squares Evan had made. Then, she said rather timidly: "Evan, don't please be angry with me but I don't know what cards and penalties are. Could you please tell me what are they?" She looked into Evan's eyes and placed a shy upon her lips.

Then, she nodded when told which goal to choose and she said: "It doesn't matter to me as long as we don't let the ball in." Hehe.

Sure, Evan did know ladies could create miracles, but not in football. At least, not against the talented people like him, unless they were also at the top of the female football themselves. Chuckling as Bissy's gaze turned blank, he said "Why would I be angry? Relax!" It wasn't like he would kill anyone who asked a question! "It's my bad not to have explained them, actually." Pausing to lick his lips and collect his thoughts, he started his explanation.

"You know a 'foul' means, right, from Quidditch? Well, we have that in football too. There're two colours of cards. A yellow card is for caution, like the traffic lights. It is shown when a player did a dangerous foul or blocked the chance of the opponent's goal, et cetera. A red card is either shown after the second yellow card or directly, depending on the offence of it. A red means you're out, and cannot return to game again. It also means at least one match-ban, unless the diciplinary committee decides to extend it." He paused to let them all sink in. He was talking a bit fast to start as soon as possible. It would have been great if he could watch a game with Bissy and show her all. But, he didn't think they could do that anytime soon.

"Now, penalty is a kind of free-kick--free-kick is given when a player fouls the opponent--but it is done in the penalty area--" he showed the white lines he drew with his wand "--and it blocks the clear chance of goal. Well, if you're in that area every kind of negative action blocks your chances of scoring, so yeah, penalty is a serious thing. And, you use it from a spot maximum 7 metres far aya from the goal line, so it's 90% goal." Sure, it wasn't like there weren't any idiots who still managed to kick the ball out to the space, but that was why they were idiots. "Any more questions?" A friendly tone there, so that she would see she could ask questions, as long as they weren't stupid ones like 'OMG do you have the phone number of blah blah player?'.

She knew he was an amazing player and he knew it as well, but as his girlfriend; she did feel that she needed to keep him grounded as well. They would at least give him a run for his galleons. They just weren't going to let him walk all over them, no that was not going to happen.

Pulling her wand out, she transfigured her ballet flats into suitable trainers. The last time she even tried to play in flat, it didn't turn out all that well. Content with the trainers, she leaned over to stretch out a bit, loosening up and getting herself ready to run around.

Listening with one ear, she continued to stretch out her legs and arms. She wasn't completely sure about all the card and penalties, but a little refresher wouldn't be back as well. "Yes, can you go over them a little, so we know," she nodded. She understood the basics, but they was probably much she could still learn about it.

Glancing at their goal, she smiled and nodded. "Oh, you know I intend on not allowing the ball in there without a fight." She was a fighter after all and losing was something she did hate to do.

Bissy looked at Mina as she transfigured her ballet flats into trainers. Oh my! It was a good idea. The she snake had already worn her trainers so she didn’t need to do the same but she didn’t know how to do that. She said: “Wow! What’s the incantation for that, Mina? I may need it some time.” Then, she nodded approvingly at Mina’s words, smiling.

Seeing Evan being very happy with himself while explaining the things she had asked, she felt a great relief. Yeah, that was very nice of him – explaining the rules with patience. All the things were a bit complex but they are not a big deal. She could sink them all in. She would get accustomed to all of them as she played. She looked at Evan with sparkling eyes and said: “Oh, nope! Not just a single one. I’ve understood them all, Cartwright. Thank you so much.” Then, she turned to Mina and said: “Well… So, let’s take our positions and start playing.”

Georgiana decided to go to the pathways to sit down beside a tree and relax because the last thing she wanted to do was homeworks or studying. This place was nice and peaceful exactly what she needed, the girl spotted a big tree and leaned against it. Georgiana started to feel sleepy but she was aware of it and was not going to take a nap there, even though it was a great idea...but no. She closed her eyes and opened them again before falling asleep.

Being there watching people passing by, bored her. So, she got up and started to walk aimlessly, looking at her surroundings, deep in thought and not paying attention to anything around her.

Stryker smiled brightly as he lobbed a tennis ball into the air and watched as his new fluffy!puppy pounced and chased after it. So cute. Ohh wait. Something caught the puppy's eye and directed it's attention away from the green ball. People! Finally, something that had a shorter attention span than Chad.

The puppy took off to greet passing people. Oh great. "Come back!" Kimber would KILL him if he lost the little guy.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH! It was the cute little puppy from the library earlier. Eeeeh, it was so cute. Zara couldn't resist. She tried to follow the puppy around. "Hello there, cute littow puppy," she said sweetly as she continued to follow the puppy wherever it went. Then wondering where its owner was, she looked around the pathways. Oohhh, there was Mr. Stryker. She waved her hand high up and greeted, "Hello there, Mr. Stryker!" Zara shouted loud enough for him to hear as she grinned wide.

Then she turned her attention back to the puppy. "Come back puppyy. Wait for meee." She said as she hurried up to catch up with it.

Yeah. Right.

Well done Millie. You've annoyed her. Brilliant. No wonder you have no friends. It was all she could think of, she was new as well you know. "You've been asked that a lot, haven't you?" she said, because Millie had barely left the common room and knew no one and was assuming that people asked the new people that. Yeah. "I'm sorry if you have" she added. BECAUSE SHE'S A HUFFLEPUFF THEREFORE SHE IS NICE. Obviously.
