Destiny ALWAYS had the best ideas. "Yes! That would be awesome!" Who would be able to miss a purple raft, flying a huge flag with two brunette heads on it. Two pretty brunettes at that. "And we need to come up with a name for our raft." Because all boats had names. And nothing lame like 'The Sea Shanty' or 'Titanic.' Something that would reflect how awesome they were. Or perhaps how stupid. Mia could see them getting only a few miles off the Queensland coast, seeing how neither of them knew how to sail a boat or raft in their case but at least it would be fun.

Mia snorted at Destiny's attempt at muggle talk. And who was she calling old? "Practice makes perfect." Shouldn't be hard for the girl to remember it was close to the word 'Prefect' after all and she was sure Destiny had no troubles in saying that word. But speaking of pancakes. "I feel like blueberry pancakes."

But they would have to wait. There was a food fight taking place.

For someone who didn't know how to talk muggle, she sure knew a lot of movie quotes. "I'll get you my pretty and your little rat too." Mia watched as her spoonful of yoghurt hit Destiny in the face and she was too busy laughing to notice the mashed potato flying her way until it caught her in the side of the head. She tilted her head to the side trying to get potato out of her ear.

COWARD!!

The Slytherin was hiding behind the counter. That was cheating. So Mia picked up her bowl of yoghurt and climbed up onto the counter and crawled over to where Destiny had disappeared to and peered over the edge, her bowl of yoghurt hovering right over her friend's head. "Say 'hello' to my little friend."

GAH!

Destiny was SO stupid! She had thought about having a flag with their FACES on it before she thought about naming the raft. Of course all boats had to have a name and she suddenly wondered if the ship out on the lake had a name. Then they could probably figure out what kind of ship it was. Pirate or Viking. But their raft was more important and she thought about it for a few seconds. "It should be named something awesome. And something TERRIFYING just in case we encounter pirates. Something like.. The Log Ness Monster!"

Because their raft..was made of logs. Meh.

Practice makes perfect made no sense. How could practice make something that could not be seen? Pancakes on the other hand, could be seen and eaten and Destiny was mentally slapping herself for not asking the house elves to bring her some. Her eyes widened at Mia's comment about feeling like pancakes and she gave her friend a quick look over. "Does it hurt? Feeling like blueberry pancakes?" It sure sounded painful.

And she would have asked if she could feel for herself, but they were at war!

Trying to wipe as much yoghurt off her face as she could, Destiny IGNORED the getting her and her rat remark. There was no way, NO WAY she would let anyone take her Marcus. Bwaha'ing as she peeked her head from around the counter and saw that her potato hit it's target, she spooned a mouthful of potato into her mouth before piling more and just about to wing it at Mia..

..but she was gone. Whaaat?

Climbing to her knees, she once again peeked from around the counter, but hearing her friend's voice had her eyes casting upwards. Right to the BIG bowl hovering over her head. She wouldn't! She wouldn't dare! "Go ahead. Make my day."

He'd finally decided to go down to the kitchen. Not like anything could happen like the last time he'd been down there last term.

What did he want to eat though? His mind was focusing on this when he walked into the kitchen and raised both eyebrows at what he saw. Mia on the counter and some Slytherin he'd seen before but couldn't remember her name under it. "What in the world...?! What are you two doing?" Oh no...was that food in Mia's hands? Not again...

Too busy waiting for the bowl of yoghurt to come pouring down her face, Destiny didn't notice the portrait opening up and she definitely didn't notice the person walk in until they started talking.

Slowly turning her head, she mentally sighed in relief that it wasn't a Professor. Not that she would get in trouble. After all, it was Mia who was on the counter holding the bowl over her head. BUT! She would get in trouble anyway, because Mia still had potato on her head and she was holding the bowl of potatoes.. "What's it look like we're doing?" she asked the very familiar boy whose name she forgot. "We're being pirates!"

Or..something..

"I'd rather not risk it. You don't know if it has lactose in it," he whispered his sensitive part. It was just Treyen here, but there might be spies.

"Just a ham sandwich is enough. Thank you Treyen," he smiled. He liked having Treyen with him, in the sammich making.

He'd been kidding, right? That was hilarious. His reasoning. But Treyen was equally glad that Ellie hadn't been harmed after the ballroom dancing activity. The fifth year only nodded as they walked inside the Kitchen.

They'd be needing bread first, yes? Actually, a plate would be better, no?

He actually took TWO plates.

And he'd keep in mind the 'lactose' comment. No worries about that, Conan.

Treyen smiled his way, "No problem, really," he still needed to ask the house-elves something, didn't he? "Actually, Conan, do you mind getting the bread while I look for ham?" or while he talked to the amazing house-elves?

Conan frowned, as he followed Treyen. Two plates? Was Treyen hungry too? Yaaaay. They could find somewhere to sit and eat them together. Yaaaaay. Though that did sound kinda girly. Like dinner dates. Ewww. Maybe not then. They could eat their sandwiches while doing manly things, like swinging axes at trees. Or maybe spitting. That was manly right? It was gross, therefore must be manly.

He nodded, "Yep." Bread. Where was the bread? He didn't really want to ask the halloween masked dwarves. They were kind of creepy. He beamed as he found bread rolls. Mmmmm bread rolls. He picked up two warm ones and returned to Treyen.

"Two bread rolls, ready and waiting for you."

Mordred took a gulp of his juice and spoke to the group. "I'm off to Hogsmeade." he said as he slid off his chair. "But I've got to change clothes." he said as he tugged his robe. "I know it's an honor to be a Slytherin, but I don't want to be hugged just because I'm one. And definitely not in a public place." Mordred waved at Oakey and Aurora and made his way down to the dungeons to get dressed.

Aurora nodded at Mordred, knowing full well that he knew her brother was not okay and mentally thanked him for not questioning her about it. "Might see you there." she said, she had been meaning to go get some stuff from Honeydukes for her brother and she wanted to check if there were any music shops for a new bow.

"I know the feeling. If one more person hu-" she stopped short. Someone had their arms around her.

And then she ran away.

Aurora hand her hand on her wand the minute the girl's arms had touched her. "Furnuculus!" she yelled, but the girl had already hugged her and ran away. She stood still, shaking with anger. "I'm never putting my wand down again." she hissed, holding it out in front of her, she was going to need more curses.

Perfect.

Treyen actually managed to ask questions, yes, by mentioning Fletcher's name too (which got him one cupcake, by the way) and get the ham just in time. As a matter of fact, the elves helped with the ham as well, and asked plenty of questions about it too.

Nosy little creatures. But incredibly amazing little creatures. ;)

It took him long enough, because Conan was already there. With bread rolls. He was such a good kid. "Great. Here's some ham," he motioned to the other plate he was carrying around, "Now, go ahead and make us sandwiches," testing, he was testing Conan. Let's see how good his sandwich-making skills were.

The LogNess Monster??

Mia gave Destiny a LOOK. That was NOT terrifying at all. It was pretty creative and quite funny though, but she was not going to tell her friend that especially after she had just given her a LOOK. "What about 'The Purple People Eater?" Because the raft was going to be purple. And that was terrifying, Right?

Meh. She had NOTHING!!

Well. She had certainly walked into that one, hadn't she? She was not even going to bother responding to that. Because she would probably say something else stupid and because she was far too busy winning this food battle. But some blueberry pancakes would come in handy right now so that she could squash them in to the Slytherin's face.

The look on Destiny's face was priceless. Probably the only time, Mia was ever going to have someone wear that kind of look around her. She grinned down at her friend and was just about to put the bowl back onto the counter because she really wasn't going to tip it on the girl's head buuuuut then she had to go and say THAT! "Well if you insist." Mia upturned the bowl, right on Destiny's head. "Hasta La Vista, baby!"

She burst out laughing and quickly scooted AWAY from her friend and looked at Ivan who had just entered the kitchen. "What she said." Although she didn't know what kind of pirates had food fights.

WHAT!?

What was with the LOOK Mia was giving her? The LogNess Monster was a good name and it was awfully terrifying. Destiny was pretty sure if pirates would hear the name, it would scare the skin right off of them. But then.. Mia had actually come up with a better name. Their raft was going to be purple and the pirates wouldn't dare go near them if they thought it ate people. "We can name it that. ONLY if we get it to fly."

Because a one flagged, FLYING purple people eater was horrifying!

WAH!

Destiny really didn't think Mia was going to pour the bowl of yoghurt over her head until the stuff was sliding down her face. Sure, she may have told her to make her day and all, but Mia should have known she had no idea what she was talking about. She didn't speak muggle! Everyone knew that!

With a look of mock PURE HORROR on her face, Destiny reached up to wipe some of the nasty, disgusting, gross, revolting, repelling, foul, YUCKY stuff off before falling back to the floor. Clutching her head, like she was in some sort of pain, she moved into the fetal position.

"I'm melting! MEEEELLLLLTIIIIIINGGGG!!"

And that would be the first time Destiny Shepard died this term.

Mia opened her mouth to ask what was the point in building a raft if they were going to fly it? If that was the case then they should be building an aeroplane. But of course she said none of this. It was fun to hear Destiny come up with these wacky ideas. "Sure. You supply the magic and I will supply the material." Because lets face it, Mia was more than likely to set the raft on fire or blow it up if she tried to levitate it.

Bwhahahaha!

Seems as though her Slytherin friend didn't think she would actually do it. If it had of been anything harmful then Mia would not have done it but it was only a bit of yoghurt. How much harm could it possibly do?

Apparently a lot going by Destiny's reaction. Mia snorted as she put the bowl down beside her and slid off the counter. She knelt down beside her friend and tired hard not laugh TOO much. "You watch far too much television." she said, while reaching into her robes and pulling out her wand. "Would you like me to clean you up? Or I can go and get Arnold. He'll get that yoghurt off you quick smart." He would probably clean out her nose and ears while he was there as well but Mia didn't mention that.

WHY MUST PEOPLE KEEP HUGGING HER!? Aurora pointed her wand at the girl's face and hissed. "I swear I will curse you if you don't move." She intended to go straight to the Slytherin common room and stay there until Hug a Slytherin day was over and if this girl didn't move she would be sporting some pretty awful boils.

Kimalia who had been enjoying a lovely slice of cake had noticed the commotion. "Oh boy." She didn't want to see someone in her house get in trouble from being annoyed so she walked on over.

Stepping in between the Hufflepuff girl and Aurora she hugged the Hufflepuff girl before stating. "There, you got your hugs, now run along." She smiled gently pushing her away before turning to Aurora. "Here, have some cake." She offered her a cake before smirking. "Maybe you should put a rebound charm on your robes so huggers will bounce off you.

Aurora stared, someone was volunteering for Hug A Slytherin Day?! What?!?!?!

"No, thankyou, I have cookies, want one?" she held out a cookie. "I was looking forward to trying out a few curses on someone who wasn't my brother, I suppose your idea is less likely to lose us points though..." Aurora grinned. "And we are so close!" She cringed at the thought of the mere eight points preventing them from being in the lead.
"I'm Aurora, hi." Aurora smiled as she took another bite of cookie.

Yeah..

It was probably for the best that she got stuck supplying the magic and Mia supplied the material. No offense to Mia or anything, but the girl really needed to get some arm muscle. Collecting logs would give her them for sure! But Destiny wouldn't say that. She didn't want to hurt her friend's muscle-less feelings.

Now they just had to wait for the summer to get itself there!

Dead.

DEAD!

Not only had Mia killed her, it was the SECOND time Mia managed to kill her with food. Destiny would never, EVER forget that day at the costume ball when she tried to summon some chocolate. She still had no idea how her friend managed to summon jelly instead. It was gross. And it was deadly.

Scoffing to herself when Mia came closer and LAUGHED, Destiny peeked an eye open. Television? What was that!? "I watch far too much telliwission." she corrected, closing her eye and rolling over on her back. At least the house elves kept the floor clean. Those little creatures were good for something. Both eyes opened at the mention of Arnold and as much as she wanted to see him, she did not want to be cleaned by him. Those puffskein tongues freaked her out.

"Beam me up, Scotty. I mean..clean me up, Mia."

"Damn... I forgot the bread I reckon. See. I would be lost without you here," she said as she bounced over to get the bread she wanted. The rye bread. Mhm.

"Yep....." Of course Rae knew that Lexi didn't have much experience with do-it-yourself work, so up Rae went over towards her friend to untie the bread thingy... Psh. Whatever those are called.

Plate, check. Two pieces of bread, check. Now Rae needed to assemble everything. The condiments on the bread, the mean then the cheese, along with the greenery things and chips on the side. "There you go chickie." Satisfied? "Oh wait...." She snapped twice for another elf to come by then gave her order.... "Another round of butterbeer please."

Now, that would be the perfect meal.

Well. She made it all look EASY. Pfft. It so wasn't. Clearly.

Once her sammich was assembled she bounced a little and clapped her hands together excitedly. As she went to grab her sammich and stuff her face she had the most brilliant idea EVER! "RAE! I now name you my official sandwich maker! Will you take the job?! All you have to do is... obviously make sandwiches for me on occasion," she said with a fit of giggles. Hehehe.

Ewww she snapped at that elf. Not nice! She didn't say anything, though. She simply smiled at the little elf and said her thanks as well.

"Exactly! Only hopefully we will have permission..." They'd probably end up doing it anyway but it would be easier with help. "Me and Zara are going to see him in the morning so we should know soon." Aurora smiled, she supposed a lot of people would be interested and hoped that that would make Professor Tate agree to it...

Just as they were about to start, someone went and hugged Connor all of a sudden, startling all of them. Heather tilted her head a little confused of why her big brother would be hugged all of a sudden. A fan maybe? "What was that-"

another one hugged Connor and went about a 'National Hug a Slytherin Day'. Heather was confused. Was it a special day she overlooked? Hug a slytherin day? Is it really existing?

Then she felt a little ashamed she didn't even bother hugging her older brother. She jumped off her chair and went towards Connor to hug him. "I really don't know what's going on, but well, I figured I should hug you." she said, smiling up at him.

Connor cuddled her close. "I don't mind your random hugs baby girl." He smiled softly. He laid his head on her shoulder and sighed. "I needed that, I'm not exactly having a good day." he murmured.

Kurumaaay

Grumble.

HAND OUTSTRETCHED IN THE AIR IN A BREATHTAKING MOTION.

"Fooooooddd," she whined out in a looooooong tone, her mouth open and ready to digest anything and anyone that was out in front of the girl's path. For some odd, mystical reason that she hadn't known, Lola Jones was struck with a huge appetite (very damaging for her majestic voice) and found herself up several nights, sleep-walking out to the Great Hall and when that didn't work, she was walking her way towards the Kitchens.

"Eaaaaat. Feeaaaaasstttt," she muttered in a very long whisper as she entered the Kitchens, knowing that this was way past her bedtime AND her beauty sleep--obviously meaning that the girl was dying of starvation! Now if she were to get caught, would they blame her?

No. They would blame her menacing and EVIL stomach that was making its way out of her diet routine.

The girl couldn't do it anymore. She stopped.

She dropped to the ground.

"So this is the death of me. I'll die. Right here on this very ground--oh my my my I wonder what'll the Hufflepuffs think the very next morning! 'Dead Slytherin girl with a bright future ahead of her--RUINED by her need for food!' I'm a pathetic Flobberworm and I'll diiiiiiie a pathetic Flobberworm, that's what Lola Jones is! Ohhhhh WOE IS ME!" she sobbed dramatically, curling up into a fetal position and hugged the ground--then, finding inspiration through old, cheesy plays she's watched, she immediately put up a fist in the air.

"I AM A FLOBBERWORM! My kind slimes our way with priiiiiiiide!" HUZZAH! The girl, ever so dramatically, found herself wiggling and crawling (LIKE QUEEN FLOBBERWORM HERSELF) and received the will and the courage from magical Merlin himself to gently tickle and fondle the pear, finding herself wiggling her way to the Kitchens.

"Flobble," she wiggled her arm in the air, desperately trying to find food, lying flat on her stomach, "Flobble flobble."

o___________________________O

Kurumi stood in the doorway of the kitchen with her jaw practically hanging to the floor as she watched a girl wiggle and writhe across the kitchen floor. It looked like someone were casting the Cruciatus Curse on her.

Kurumi dropped her cookie notebook to the floor and a few spare pieces of parchment with various recipes went sliding across the floor in every which direction. Flailing a bit like a chicken with its head cut off, Kurumi rushed over to the clearly suffering girl, grabbed a towel, dunked it in some water, and threw it over her head.

She wasn't sure if it would have any effect against dark magic, but it seemed to work for fevers and the like. Should fix something, right?

"Are you alright?!" she squeaked still flailing her arms and her eyes bugging out of her head as though someone had smacked her really hard in the back of the head. "I-I-I don't know any counter spells..."

Heather hugged her big brother tight. She loved giving hugs; it always had that warm, special, fuzzy and relaxing feeling. She felt giddy and happy at such, but then her smile disappeared when he told her he wasn't having a good day. Heather pouted. She hated having to know or see someone was not having a good day, especially her friends, and especially now, her big brother.

"what's wrong?" she asked him. She'd do anything to cheer him up; anything in her capability.

"Er, Sure, Only if you really mean 'on occasion' but if you mean every day then pay would be in order." Hah, that would actually be fun, being paid to make sandwiches.... If only they had real jobs like that. Like a store, where you go to pay people to make your sandwich, then you can be on your merry way.... I swear Rae, you just came up with a million galleon idea.

"Well I dun eat sandwiches every day... just on occasion. So yeah, that would be every now and again," she said before taking a massive bite out of the sandwich in her hands. MMMMMMMMM.

After chewing most of her food and swallowing she said, "How has this term been for you?" She needed to know. She had been locked away in the towers most of the term, herself... no contact with other houses very much.
