Beaming at her a little as soon as he was noticed, Ani let himself up off the ground and slid himself into the remaining spot on the bench beside her, before reaching over to pluck the recently shut book out of her hands. "Whatcha reading?" Maybe this was the wrong question...last time he'd asked the answer had been a romance novel, one that An said he'd try and read. Which he would, he just hadn't done so yet.

Glancing from the title, with a small frown, before looking back up at her, he could only ask one thing. "OWLs studying?" Merlin. He was ready to be done with it all. DONE. But that wasn't possible now was it?

The 5th year gave a small chuckle, before adding a tiny wink as well. "Well, no. I would cry. The maybe was thrown in to salvage at least a little of my manliness." You know, the nonexistant manliness.

Vashti was going to answer the question about what she was reaidng, but he'd already snatched it out of her hand, so now there was no point, was there? He popped another question within seconds though, so she wasn't silent for too long. "Sort of, I guess," she replied, shrugging. "Do you think we'll have to cast spells nonverbally for the OWLs?" If they did, then she definitely was studying; if not, then she definitely wasn't.

Manliness? Pfft. "You're manly?" she asked a bit incredulously, trying to prevent a smirk from reaching her face.

Finding her way down to the courtyard, TJ sat down on a bench lost in thought. She'd finally decided to just forget about Ivan, and not even think about him. not that it was working, but she kept telling herself it was. Turning she put her feet up on the bench and laid down on her back, looking up at the stars.

She knew, or had figured out it was a love potion, but also figured it was for the best. If his friends were that desperate for them not to be together...why should she continue to fight against them?

Ivan walked down to the the Courtyard trying to stay as far away from the common room as possible. Less of a chance of running into Neptune that way. He still was smarting over the stuff from the Room of Requirement.

Walking out he looked for a place to sit when he spotted TJ on a bench. He almost turned around and went somewhere else but his jaw clenched. He STILL didn't know why she dumped him. And HE wanted answers damn it.

"I think you owe me an explanation..." he said crossing his arms. Maybe all this stuff with Neptune wouldn't have happened if she hadn't left him and everything would be as it was.

Jumping nearly a foot as she hadn't even heard anyone walk out into the courtyard. Not to mention it being dark and all. Righting herself before she fell off the bench, she looked up seeing Ivan standing there. She owed him an explanation? How in Merlin's name had that worked?

"Why don't you go ahead and ask Lexi about it?" she asked timidly. Yes, timidly, she didn't want to get all into an arguement anymore. "I had nothing to do with any trying to break you and I up, but she certainly appears to be doing a nice job using love potions."

Ivan watched TJ with narrowed eyes as she sat up. "Ask Lexi?! Lexi already broke up with me once why should I ask her anything?! You did it this time." And that STILL wasn't an answer.

"I know she gave me a love potion. She told me that but she didn't make you break up with me. You did that on your own. And if you KNEW I was on love potion then... WHY?!" Yeah he was a bit mad. Though his anger wasn't all directed at her...well not completely. "She didn't know I would go chasing after Neptune like I did. She did it to get back at ME for bothering her about brewing the stuff in the first place." And it wasn't all the potions fault but he wasn't going to go into that.

"Don't yell at me." TJ said quietly. She had no intention on getting into a yelling match with Ivan. He'd been happily wanting to go find Neptune that one day, and how many more? She wasn't all that sure. "I broke up with you, because I was tired of her trying to break us up. I think that's been pretty obvious."

Her hands going down onto the bench on either side of her legs, she shook her head, she wasn't going to cry because she'd done more then enough of that, and she just didn't have any tears left. "You sure seemed pretty interested in Neptune." she added quietly looking off to the side, her eyes no longer on his face.

"Aiden Heartnett," she says briefly. "I have a green bag," she holds out the green bag. "Now we need a Slytherin with a silver bag," explained Aiden while her eyes glare around the courtyard looking for Slytherins with silver bags.

Gwen listened to the other girl talk, while looking around. Suddenly, she turned her head really quick in Samira’s direction. What? Then, she glimpsed at the mess. ‘Um… aha, I draw’, she said, hoping she had folded that piece of parchment so that no one could see that good-for-nothing sketch she drew. ‘I did a couple of portraits today and plenty other drawings, so I guess my inspiration reached an all time low.’, she announced.

Maybe I should change the subject…?, she thought, not really willing to show Samira the things she drew .Nah, it’s fine… ‘Eh…you draw too?’

Oh. That was not good. Because everyone else seemed to have left. "Do you know anyone with a silver bag?" He didn't know many Slytherins. Except Sierra. And she had gone somewhere.

I FAIL. A lot. *Slaps internet and RL* *Catches up*
 

Oh joy. Amy had said exactly the wrong thing. Muggle, doesn't matter. She sighed as she was insulted, or rather her house was, I am here you know she said, waving her hands and shrugging, or carry on insulting houses...it's cool, she trailed off. The older girl looked...scary/terrifying/ate kittens in her spare time. Yeah. I do she said, passing the map over to them as it started to change. Ooh. Funky. COLOOOURSS. Pretty colours.

She looked at each of the bags as they were produced, slightly mesmerised by their jewel colours before looking back to the map and trying to work out what was going on

Amy had been quiet for once in her life as she'd tried to work out the map, because at that moment, it made no sense whatsoever. None. Coins and a map. Coins and a map? Coins? Map? Made nooo sense. None. I dunno, she shrugged, but I do think we should chuck them in she nodded, watching others do that very thing. After all, what have we to lose?

"Sorry, some people have no respect." said Aurora, "At least you're not in Gryffindor." she added quietly, chuckling a little and smiling at Amy. She was only joking, she'd had a great friend in Gryffindor but she'd dropped out...

"What is sleeping beauty by the way? People keep mentioning it... and something about spinny wheels and magic princes or something..." she trailed off, assuming it was a muggle thing. All the same, she still wanted to know...

"WAIT!" Aurora suddenly had an idea. "The coins on the map are flashing! Try and figure out what order, maybe that's the order they go in the fountain!" because most people seemed to have concentrated on the map a while before throwing in their coins.

Don't yell? DON'T YELL?! He was in his right to yell! "I can yell if I want! And no she didn't try to break us up. YOU did." Like Lexi would have actually done that. "She may not like you but she would NEVER try and split us up since she knew I cared about you." That much he was absolutely sure of.

Hearing her mention Neptune, Ivan's jaw clenched. "I was on love potion!" She didn't need to know what happened after that. "What do you want from me TJ?"

Gwen could whip her head around so fast Samira was surprised she didn't have whiplash. She didn't seem very enthusiastic about her drawing though, so Samira didn't ask to see the picture like she wanted to. "That's cool," she commented lightly.

"Yeah, I do, a little," she answered in response to Gwen's question. "I have my own little art studio at home." Or, more like several of their part-time houses around the world, but that was another thing entirely. "I mostly draw people and scenery. What about you?"

Braeden was laying down on one of the stone benches of the courtyard. He was on his back, using his bookbag as a pillow as his brown eyes stared up ahead with immense concentration, causing his bushy eyebrows to furrow and making him oblivious to the rest of the world.

He was reading.
It was an unusual sight, but upon closer inspection one could see the boy wasn't ready a philosophy book or any other sort of school book. He was reading a comic book. Because he was Braeden Stonem, and that's what doof Gryffindorks named Braeden Stonem are into. Movies and comic books.

"Fine yell as you wish." she said with obvious irritation in her voice. Didn't mean she had to listen to him. She never did really listen to anyone who yelled at her, because if they couldn't respect her why should she bother respecting them. 'Cept for the fact, she was in love with this man infront of her who was yelling at her, in her face even. Taking a step back she felt she needed to give him a little distance.

Wait what did he say? "And you think that she wouldn't try to split us up, if she thought I'm not the one you should be with?" she asked in a quiet calm voice. Scoffying a little she shook her head, "right."

"What I want is what I've always wanted. And it's for YOU to be happy." she replied quietly still. "It's what I've ever wanted, I've never seen you as happy as I saw you with your eyes shining about Neptune. And not even love potion can show that much affection."

Oh good she was irritated at least that was emotion. "I know she wouldn't." WHY was she so insistent on blaming Lexi for everything?! "She may not agree with things I do but she wouldn't try and sabotage my relationship. Not after the things we went through." And he was POSITIVE about that.

"And you thought that breaking up with me would make me HAPPY?!" What kind of messed up logic was that?????? "Okay so I had feelings for Neptune but if it wasn't for the potion nothing would have come of that because I cared about YOU more." And now that he'd really messed up with Neptune he wasn't sure they'd even be friends any more.

Does he not know about how girls work? Or most girls she'd known anyway. If they weren't happy about something, no one was going to be happy. "Well I'm glad your so certain about that." She certainly wasn't, just look how Lexi was so standoffish with TJ, particularly whenever Ivan was there as well.

"What did you expect me to do Ivan?" she asked turning right back towards him, looking him fully in the face. "After I realized what the heck was going on, I looked at it in a different light, yes. But I also realized you were happier then even you and I are together."

Swallowing she felt her face burning, but didn't back off this time. "I'll ask you the same. What do you want from me?"

Ugh she was aggravating. He wanted to like...shake her or something. "I am," he said crossing his arms. He knew Lexi better than almost anyone. Why didn't anyone BELIEVE him. Gah.

He worked his jaw and met her eyes with a frown. "What did I expect? For you to not break up with me because you THINK you know what's going on. You know why I'm not happy with us? Because you would rather break up with me because you think I'm happier than fight for me. Because you let me do whatever i want without a peep.'

"I want you to grow a backbone and stop acting like so..so.... Damn it. I like the game and the chase I don't want everything to be handed to me. I don't want a girlfriend that will just step aside and just be run over. I can't have a girlfriend that would do that."

She was fully ready to drop the stupid Lexi thing. Because no matter what she said he just wasn't gonna believe her, nor listen to it, even if it was right in front of him. So she didn't even respond to him when he said those two words.

"Break up with you because I think I know what's going on? Really, you think that's the only reason?" she asked still not backing down. "I did it because I was hurt. Because again I trusted you, but this time I couldn't handle even the idea of you kissing someone else, not after what happened after Christmas."

Hearing his words as he spoke cut right through her. Sinking back down on the bench, she shook her head. Turning her head she looked out into the courtyard again her eyes burning with unshed tears, "Yeah, well I did what I did because they're your friends. Friends will be with you for life." So that was his decision, if she wasn't gonna play the game of fighting for him, because in her eyes his friends came first...he'd known them a hell of a lot longer.

Not to mention he even admitted to having feelings for both of the girls, Neptune and Lexi.

OH she didn't use him leaving her after Christmas against him. "First of all," he said dropping his town to a dangerous whisper, "What happened after Christmas was for ME. I didn't date anyone else and I holed up in the common room most of the time. My mum had JUST DIED!" If he had just been irritated before he was full on angry now. "You CAN NOT use that against me. That would make you cold and heartless." Both of which she wasn't and he knew.

UGH! What was with people and thinking they knew what was BEST for him?! It was starting to really tick him off. "You know what I'm tired of people thinking they know what's best for me. Friends AREN'T with you forever. I know that first hand. Look at Finn and James." Neptune and himself.

"I never said you had been, and I never would have believed you to have been!" she said her voice raising just a notch. "Why would I say that? I know your mum had just died. What I said is that after what happened, and what I had thought after telling you to go to Lexi, is this time I hated even picturing you kissing someone else!"

"Do you deny kissing Neptune?" she asked turning towards him again, but last second held up her hand, "No, I don't even want to know. Because no matter where we are right now, knowing you had or hadn't would bring so many questions I don't even want to know answers to."

"If they are your true friends, then YES they are with you forever." she said her eyes meeting his for just an instant, before looking back away. "So that's it, is it? I can't be who you want me to be...."

"Actually no that's not what you said but justify it how you want." He turned as if to leave then turned back as he heard her question. "You know what. Yes I did kiss her. And you know what it got me. The loss of a friend because she doesn't like me that way." Now he was just being cruel but he wanted to hurt her. "Happy? Is that what you wanted to hear? But you had LEFT ME." He could kiss whomever he wanted because they weren't together.

"I don't NEED another lecture about friends. You don't even KNOW my friends because you don't hang out with me when I'm with them." He clenched his fists and worked his jaw as he spoke. "No this is it because you are trying to blame everyone else instead of stepping up and saying you broke up with me because you're insecure. I didn't end this. You did. You remember that." His eyes landed on the chain he saw around her neck and his anger was on the verge of erupting.

He spun on his heel before he could do anything he'd really regret and stormed off to the castle wishing there was something he could punch or kick or something.

Anakin looked back up from the title's to smile crookedly at her, before handing it back. "Charms?" That's what the title led him to believe anyways. Or maybe it was decieving and it was actually transfiguration? Who knew. Not this puff, anyways. Being careful to make sure he was paying attention, the boy frowned slightly thinking on her question. "I...I actually don't know. I hope not. I'm complete rubbish at them." Among many other things, too. In short, he was basically doomed when it came to the OWLs anyways. "Do you think they will?" If so; he needed to start studying. Nowish.

He put on a mock expression of heart, carefully placing a hand over his heart as if offended. "Ouch. Words hurt. It's too bad I wasn't lucky enough to be have turned away." Heh.

Narrowing her eyes as he spoke, he had known precisely what she meant and he knew it. They'd been over it back when they'd made up last time. This was ridiculous. Not to mention him even saying he'd kissed Neptune. "As I said before." she said quietly, her anger still at bay, she didn't anger easily but she was close, "I can't help if it hurt knowing that YOU would end up kissing someone. Well? Did you enjoy the kiss?" she asked with a smirk. "Cause I guess that would at least leave a momento to remember her by."

He was determined to hurt her, and she knew she was being just as childish. "You know what, I'm tired of you acting like a child. You hurt me, I hurt you, and apparently you don't want nothing to do with a person who actually cares and loves you enough to do whatever she can for you." She called as he stormed off. She never expected an answer, her eyes stung with tears all over again, as she stood up.

Not to mention hating the fact she had to follow him, to the castle besides. She honestly wanted to whap him upside the head.
