When she'd asked about the others, the blonde felt a little sad. "I've tried to speak to Marie...but she's still a little...angry with me. Carter and I...well, I'm trying to apologize for the sneak attack...I haven't seen anyone else, really." There was a moments pause..."Rafe's returned...We broke up." |
Quote:
Hmm, well Marie was angry with everyone it seemed. "She'll get over it sooner or later." And by that, she meant a lot later. "Just need to be patient with her. And you...need to get out more apparently." Yup! ...What? That...made her frown. Rafe? Like...Rafe Rafe? The Rafe that could have set Destiny on fire Rafe? "I didn't know he returned." She didn't know he left either. Heck, she almost forgot about him. Though the whole break up thing....just....what? "Weird how you both returned at the same time." |
Quote:
"Marie is stubborn, but I don't fault her for it. I understand that I broke her trust...but we can't avoid each other. It'll be best when we can get it out of the way." She sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "I do need to get out more...It's just hard, given everything that's happened." Evelyn, of course, surprised her. "You mean Rafe hasn't been here?" |
Quote:
Now, why was Marilyn surprised? She didn't know Rafe wasn't here? "Not that I knew." she said, glancing at Poof making herself comfortable on her pillow. "I haven't seen him around in quite sometime." Which was saying something because they were in the same year. "And I haven't seen him on the Gryffindor quidditch team so...I assume he wasn't at school." |
Anyone? Maria sighed and walked into the girls dorm and sat down on her four poster, reaching over the end to open her trunk to retrieve her art portfolio. She had to get some sketches of this place before she turned thirteen and left again. She leaned back against the pillow and began sketching the empty four poster across from her, making sure t get every detail juuust right. |
Quote:
"It matters little now...There are times in a person's life when they need someone to simply 'be there' for them...He wasn't." Rafe had thought he was going to toy with her...but he had another thing coming. "Im seeing him everywhere...and even though we've broken up, he continues to tell me how beautiful I am. Like that makes up for him not being there." The girl made a sour face. Not likely... |
Quote:
She didn't particularly like Rafe so she had no clue why she was sorta, maybe, possibly defending him. Whatever the reason, it was stopping now! "Why did you two break up again?" Because he wasn't there for her? |
Quote:
She sighed, shaking her head. "It doesn't matter anymore. I'm done. He's moved one...and so can." Her attempted smile came out more like a grimace. A change of subject was desperately needed. "So, what's new with you? I seen you sitting with Josh Carter in class..." |
Quote:
She watched Marilyn try to smile, yet it was anything but. Of course, that led her only to believe that perhaps the Slytherin hadn't really moved on. Had she? It didn't matter though. She could find someone better. Talk of Josh had her smiling immediately. "Why wouldn't I sit with my boyfriend?" Hmmm? Although lately, she was inseparable with Destiny. "He asked me in the middle of fourth year." Which seemed so long ago. "Other than that..." Nothing new? Now that she thought about it though... |
Quote:
"I always wondered when you two would just stop arguing and go out...but a Gryffindor, Evelyn?" She laughed, knowing that she, herself, was in no position to judge. Every guy she'd ever talked to had been from the Lion's den... Meh, better physics and chemistry... Maybe she could break out her theory again? It had been an interesting one... It was beyond obvious that Evie adored Josh Carter; she had for since Second year...and Marilyn was so happy for her. Although, hearing about her happiness...made the blonde crave her own. "Josh better treat you well..." She laughed. "...But if I know you, you'll put him in his place if he doesn't." |
Quote:
A Gryffindor. "He treats me just fine. Perfectly even." she grinned. Although, she wasn't all for the topic about 'putting him in his place'. They've had their rough times already and she'd rather not remember them. Hmmm... "Yea...right." May have trouble on that one. |
Quote:
"I'm going to not be offended by the attack on my dating history." She smirked. "Young and impressionable girls are likely to make a few mistakes." Not that she considered Carter or Rafe mistakes. That was not the case...Her behavior on the other hand...Yes, big mistake. Huge. |

Anyone knew the blonde knew that she wasn't a poisonous snake. It was a true rare occurrence that she would strike at anyone. After the insult she had realized that it was wrong of her. She needed to clear the air, she really didn't what to be on the bad side of another cousin. "Marilyn? Can I speak with you ... privately?" |
Quote:
Afterall, that wasn't very lady like... "Of course..." She excused herself from Evie and followed Carter's girlfriend. Marilyn couldn't help but smirked. This girl really was a brave one, she'd give her that. |
I hope thats okay! Quote:
Well there, she had done it and in fact she did make her feel better. The girl was her cousin, so she could at least be nice to her. Looking at the blonde in front of her, she did look like what she could remember about her just more grown up like herself. Shaking her head, with a amused look "You really don't remember me, do you?" It surprised her that she could remember her it had been years, unlike Marie. If she hadn't asked her mother she still wouldnt believe it. She could remember seeing her from time to time, when her Mom and aunt would visit each other mostly. She did spend most of her younger years with the Scott side of the family. So she had been cut out of alot of the Malfoy family greatherings |
Quote:
Well, that wasn't expected... Carter's girlfriend was looking at her weirdly. The blonde quirked an eyebrow...The girl certainly didn't look familiar to her. "Should I know you?" |
Quote:
Well that was a bit embarassing, granted it had been a long time since they had seen each other. At this point she wondered if telling her that they were cousins would be a good thing or a bad. Here goes nothing. She smiled sightly. We're cousins our mums are sisters. Should she start running now? Marilyn would think that she was insane for saying that. |
Quote:
Cousins? "That's quite impossible, Caroline. I believe my mother only has one sister...and Marie is the product of that one." Marilyn was thinking hard, even though she had denounced the claim. The girl did look a lot like her. The features were delicate, hair was ultra blonde, and skin like porcelain. She certainly looked very Malfoyish. |
Quote:
.... Out loud. But, what she said was true. It's not like she was going to hold it against Marilyn for dating people she didn't like. She didn't do that to Marie and definitely didn't do that to Destiny...mostly because Destiny hadn't dated anyone...but still. Quote:
Quote:
Before she could answer Marilyn though, Caroline decided to interrupt. Why? What was so important? So important that you had to speak privately?! Pffft. Evelyn didn't like secrets. Watching the two girls move away, Evelyn sighed quietly before glancing over to her pillow that was being invaded by Poof. Really, her cat should just realize not to be around when the girl was bored. ...Levitation charms were very amusing. |

Emma sat on her bed and looked over at the girl [Maria], with the sketchbook out. Hmm.. The blonde wondered what she was drawing. "Excuse me. What are you drawing? I love drawing. Do you mind if I have a look?" she asked, politely with a wide smile on her face. "I'm Emma. Emma Malfoy. Fourth Year Slytherin," she added, holding her hand out to the other girl so she could shake it. |
Quote:
Maria smiled and gestured for Emma t sit next to her. "Do you wanna see more of what I've drawn?" she asked, her Italian accent thickening considerably. Which was odd seeing as she'd not been in Italy for at least tw years. |
Being tired and bored of all those assignments and hours of studying, Helena made her way to the girls' dormitories and almost let herself fall on her bed, with the face buried in the pillow, after she threw her bag somewhere next to her, on the bed as well. That felt MUCH better. When she finally decided that she might as well need some air, she turned over, so that she was facing the ceiling. But not for long, because she noticed that something managed to fall on the floor, as she threw her bag on the bed. What could it be? Oh. Her deck of muggle cards. The assignment for... what was it, again? History of Magic or Muggle Studies? The... History of Muggle Studies. But seriously, what was she supposed to do with those cards? Besides staring at them, of course. |
Quote:
"Doing your History of Muggle Magic?" asks Aiden almost sarcastically. She smirks before throwing herself on her bed. What a long day... |
Quote:
"Do you want to join me?" She asked, gently patting the bed next to her. Maybe Aiden knew something about muggle card tricks, or at least be willing to let Helena try one. |
Quote:
She sits down and leans her back on the head board. Hesitantly, Aiden speaks up. "I don't have any idea about muggle magic tricks," she admits feeling slightly embarassed. |
