"Thanks, I kinda in a way am. I'm in a band and we'll hopefully be doing concerts over break." He told them softly, If they could drag Pegasus away from the Daily Prophet that was.....

Connor smiled in appreciation of Dani's musical talent, he clapped for her but he was still mad at her for interrupting his rehearsal and time with Heather. He walked back over to his guitar and Mike area and began softly picking out the tune for "If I Had You." His new song that he had written for Kurumi. he was still angry at Dani and she would be hearing about it from him later, but now was not the time nor place.

Heather clapped her hands for Dani. She was good, really. "T-that was f-fantastic." she said to the older girl.

Then she turned to Connor. He's in a band? OH WOW. "That's amazing, big bro. I hope to watch your concerts over the break. I'd really want to take photos of you in concert." she beamed at her really amazing big brother in hogwarts.

"Aww, thank you" she said softly to Heather. Dani listened to Connor sing again, he was so good- his song writing was brilliant. She then sighed sadly, she just wanted him to be happy. He was like her brother and he always would be by the looks of things, before going to pick up her sketchbook again.
She was in the room that was meant for everyone to do whatever they wanted in it. She opened up her book and started on some more drawings, she drew out Heather's violin, because it was unique. It would be interesting paired with something on a catwalk.
She looked up at Connor and smiled in her friendly way- nothing more. She gave him the look that said- Don't worry. I'm not thinking about that anymore. Well, maybe she was- but she was not losing his friendship over her stupid crush. Although did he think she was feeling what he was feeling about Kurumi? Probably not, guys didn't think like that.

Well, Heather is certainly a curious little 13-year old, and I'm not kidding about the little part either. She saw Dani sketching as Connor went about singing and practicing. She wondered what she was sketching about, it must be really pretty so she approached the older girl, tilted her head to her right and asked: "Uhm..wh-what are you sketching?"

Connor grinned, "You will have it little one." He grinned at her. She was so sweet and he loved her to death already. "I just hope the other band members are getting it all lined up."

"Yeah Dani about that look, we need to talk....later in the common room." He said softly. He did not want their friendship to end but she had to realize that he didn't feel that way about her. And despite what she said, he was still afraid that she was only attracted to his veela half and not his human half. She kept talking about the physical stuff not his mind or his heart. She didn't know what he was into besides music and exercise and healthy eating....

Connor smiled at his little sister as she talked to his other little sister. He pulled the mike closer to him and sang softly but still forcefully, Kurumi's song.

Dani nodded- "Course" she said softly to Connor- "I guess I've just been... just stupid lately, Connor. You're my best friend and you're seriously like a big brother" she sighed as she nodded and grinned at Heather. "So, you have your big bro- but if you ever want any girly help- with anything. You can come to me" she said kindly to Heather. "I know girl world is tough" she laughed. "But just remember- stay you" she nodded.

"Oh, Your violin" she said as she turned the book around to show her. "It's beautiful" she said.She smiled at Heather as she added a drawing of Heather onto the picture, she then signed it, she carefully removed it from her book and passed it to Heather. "There ya go" she said softly. She sighed and turned to watch Connor singing, he really was incredible- she clapped enthusiastically again when he was finished. "You'll have to count me in for these concerts" she said with a little nod. "And the bro too" she laughed, knowing her brother missed Connor.
"Oh! He owl'ed me a few things for you" she said, getting the package from her bag, she passed it over to Connor after he'd done. "He said he 'knew you'd appreciate them'" she smirked as she turned back and smiled at Heather warmly.

Heather nodded her head while beaming. Well, Connor is like a big brother to her, and he is quite the big brother to her. Maybe the best.

then Dani offered any girly help she needed. So does this mean, Dani can be like her older sister? "T-thanks Dani." she said, smiling. "That's r-really nice of you. I'd be s-sure to keep that in mind...and l-look for you i-if i need any help." that was really nice of Dani.

then Dani gave her what she was sketching-she was sketching Heather and her violin. OOOOH. PRETTY. SKETCH. Heather was beaming, but blushing at the sketch Dani had given her. It was really good. "T-thanks s-so much!" she said. She wished she could give something in return to Dani's present.

then she watched Dani give Connor something and remembered-OH! the big box of brownies Camellia sent over! She scurried to the box, lifted and opened it and went to Connor and Dani. "P-please...h-have some...my older sister made these." she said, offering each to take a brownie.

Connor took the package and peeked in, inside he found a bottle of Aspirins, a pair of boxing gloves and a white flag of surrender. "Tell Luke I said thank you for the funny birthday present." He grinned.

Connor kissed her on the cheek. "You have mine Heather." He would maybe eat them for kurumi

Heather, with a smile on her face, blushed at the gesture. Her big brother sure is sweet, Kurumi's very, VERY lucky. She liked Connor for Kurumi just as much as she'd like Connor to be her big brother.

As Connor and Dani enjoyed the brownies she offered, she picked up her violin. "I-I really need to brush up on m-my violin...I'll be j-just practicing." she said and once more prepared herself to play some music.'You Raise me Up' was one song she'd like to perform; sort of like her favorite.

"It's okay- I know every girl needs a big sister" she said softly, she'd had an older sister at Beauxbatons- Clarissa, she still wrote to her with the gossip.
Dani laughed- "Yeah well, you know he's a joker" she smirked at Connor as she turned to Heather. "Wow, these brownies are amazing!" she said softly to Heather as she nibbled on hers.

She watched Heather play and smiled- she liked that song a lot. When Heather had finished she clapped- "You're amazing!" she said softly with a little reassuring nod.

"T-thanks. My older sister made them for me..." Well, Camellia did sort of like replaced her grandmother being the one who sent brownies over now. It usually was her grandmother who did so.

Heather was once more flushed. She was just practicing, but she was rest assured by her audience that she was good even though she hadn't practiced in awhile. Guess she still hasn't lost her touch on her musical side. "T-thank you Dani." she said with a smile.

Connor went to the mike and closed his eyes and sang softly the ancient muggle romance song. It was one of his favorites. He sang it with the hope that Kurumi could hear him.

he sighed softly then looked up and thought he saw walnut coming through the opening.

"It's okay, hun" Dani said with a big smile at Heather before she turned to listen to Connor again.

"Aww..." she said softly- "That sounded so sweet!" she said as she grinned at her best friend/big bro. "You're very versatile with your music" she said with a little nod.

As Heather played her violin, she could not help but listen along to Connor sing. He really was a good singer-and she felt so much at ease performing with him-then at the corner of her eyes, she saw Walnut. She smiled at the cat. "Hey Walnut. How are you? Where's Kurumi?" she asked as she bent down on her knees and petted the cat gently. she then looked up at Connor. "Wow, big brother, you're really, really a good singer-i feel so at ease performing with you." she said, beaming.

Nessie decided to come back to the room of requirement. She walked past the door three times, then opened it to see a room full of musical things. There was also some music playing the kind that she liked (electronica). She sat down on a sofa closing her eyes and jut listening to the music allowing all he thoughts to fade away.

Ah yes, Chocolate Girl and then that other boy. What had he smelled like again? Walnut went over to Connor and sniffed his shoe. Ah, that's right, vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. Sitting his kingly self down right in the middle of the trio playing those silly human instruments, Walnut began licking his paw to clean himself behind the ears.

Kurumi slowly opened the door that had FINALLY appeared just in time to see Connor hitting what she assumed was the climax of his song and she felt her heart skip a beat and her cheeks instantly flushed a deep pink. She KNEW that she had heard his voice when her and Zara were stuck pacing outside the Room of Requirement trying to make the ruddy door appear.

Standing in the door way in awe, Kurumi watched as Connor poured his entire being into singing his song. It was only when Walnut had rubbed up against her leg that she snapped back to the present.

"Z-Z-Zara...we found it..." she whispered.

Just as Heather was asking Walnut where Kurumi was, there was the girl with zara, and both of them seemed tired. She smiled. "Hey Kurumi, hey Zara." she stood and greeted and noticed both looked exasperated. "what happened?" she asked-noticing how pink Kurumi's cheeks were now.

Zara listened to the voice singing the song. It was a nice song, very warm and inviting. She smiled and wondered where that voice had come from. Looking straight ahead, sure enough she saw a guy there, with other people along with him. This must be what Kurumi had heard when they were still outside.

Turning to Kurumi she softly said, "Yes, we have," but Zara still couldn't believe it. The fact slowly sinked into her system.

"Hi Heather," she grinned cheerfully, the after effects of the song still ringing in her head and ears. What does Heather mean by what happened? Looking at Kurumi, she saw what Heather meant. Now, why were Kurumi's cheeks blushing? "Well, for the most part we've been wandering outside, trying to get the door to appear. For the blushing, well, I really don't know." Zara replied, eying the piano in the corner.

Dani looked around and noticed Kurumi- she waved over kindly- "Hi Kurumi" she said polietly with her usual big smile. She then noticed another girl... Zara? And smiled at her.

Zara noticed another girl inside the room smile at her. She smiled back, and waved a bit. "Hi," she said softly.

"H-H-H-Heather!" Kurumi squeaked as she averted her eyes from Connor and smiled to her friend. "W-W-Was that you I heard playing the violin earlier?" She asked looking down at Walnut who was currently demanding to be the center of attention.
Before Kurumi could answer Heather's question, Zara did the job for her...sort of. Kurumi noticed the tips of her hair were turning a bit pink, so she quickly reached for her ponytail and gripped the bottom of it tightly in her fist.

Think about ice...think about ice...think about ice...

That seemed to do the trick, although her cheeks were still a bit flushed. "Zara and I had conflicting ideas and our minds wandered too much to find the entrance properly," Kurumi giggled in attempt to cover up her blushing.
Kurumi then noticed Dani and shouldn't have been surprised to see her. After all, the blonde had said that her and Connor were really close the last time the two had spoken. "H-H-Hello Dani," she said bowing her head shyly.

Heather flushed. "Y-y-yeah..." she showed Kurumi and Zara her violin . "I was practicing with big brother..." she said, nervously smiling and scratching the back of her head.

"I see...i had a little difficulty finding the room earlier today too. But It's so good that you guys made it inside." more than happy. The more the merrier, right?

Dani smiled kindly again at her- "I'm Dani" she said kindly with a mini wave.

Dani smiled at Kurumi- the girl really was so nice. But she was quiet... and shy. She didn't scream the sort of girl she thought Connor would fall for. "It's nice to see you again, Kurumi" she said kindly as she pushed back her blonde curls.

Zara watched as the reddish color slowly disappeared from Kurumi's face, most especially in her cheeks. Seeing her normal color back, Zara said no more.

She took a look at Heather's violin. "Wow, that's pretty. Would you please play for us?" She smiled at Heather with a hopeful expression on her face. "I would love to hear you play," she said, grinning.

Zara nodded, "Well, I guess you know my name. But, anyway, I'm Zara; Danielle Zara Griffiths." She said. Then her eyes drifted back to where the piano was. She couldn't wait to try it.

Hugo stretched in front of the room. When he was done, the door opened for him and he found himself in quite a neat, clean room. There was nothing that could distract him here. Hugo didn't know much about meditation but he did know he needed to completely clear his mind. He sighed, sat down and closed his eyes, completely clearing his mind...
