Down the hall from the Potions Laboratory is a door that leads to the Potion Store Room. The large lock normally hangs unlatched. Most students can open it and use the items in the room. On the other side of the room is a second door that leads to the classroom which is usually locked. Inside the room to the left is a new apothecary chest which is locked. The protective charms surrounding this chest are so advanced only the Headmaster, or some of the professors would be able to unlock it. This is the potion mistress' private stores. All items in this chest are not for student use, most are dangerous, some may be dark, but you'll never know...

"As you said if we stopped what we were doing the potions would explode and who knows what is in there, maybe there would be a big explosion." Simon wasn't going to leave until a Professor had told him it was safe for them too without the rest of the castle going up. "You can go if you want or you can help." Simon snapped at her.
Oh, ...no. Kurumi didn't do anything. Nothing at all. Professor Lafay's storeroom was only ON FIRE. But, no. The girl did nothing. "Well then who was the first one in here?" Sierra asked. "No. You know what? Nevermind that." She was not going to stand right here in the middle of a flame-filled room and ask questions. It was still beyond her why so many people were still in a room full of scorching potions anyway.
She rolled her eyes and turned on her heels, ready to exit the room and go and get someone with experience to fight the fire. *SPLAAAAASH* That was when she felt a burst of water splash across her head, and she whirled around to face Hollingberry again. "I knew it," she snapped. Hollingberry had done this. She was attacking Slytherins--but why?!
...and then of course a Puffer Child had to speak up and make matters worse. "You think I'm just standing here because I don't want to help?" she snapped. "Just when I was starting to think that your kind might be worth it after all..." Honestly. She was trying to help by getting everyone out.

Kurumi’s eyes widened when she heard Riley shout at everyone. Why was everyone so quick to point fingers?! Why would anyone want to start a fire in the potions storeroom unless they had something against Professor Lafay but she doubted anyone was THAT cruel. She then hear Kyle go on about something that she had no idea what it was. “Kyle! We need more people casting Aguamenti!” Not…whatever it was she had mentioned.
Whatever happened to constant vigilance? Headmaster Tate would be disappointed. Especially if someone died.

GOT IT! Oakey yelled, maybe if he makes it out of this the girl will teach him how to cast the spell. He certainly wanted to learn it...but right now the fire had to be dealt with. He felt someone tug on his shirt but Oakey wouldn't budge, he didn't want to.
He was sick and tired of everyone yelling and arguing at what to do at the moment This was not the time or place! He coughed another loud cough then screamed at the top of his lungs. SHUT UP! AND PUT THE DAMN FIRE OUT! was Oakey yelling at everyone, he quickly turned around again and focused on the fire hopefully everyone just ignored his outburst and continued arguing, as much as Oakey DIDN'T want that.
He cast another Aguamenti just as the girl had asked, but the fire didn't seem to go out. Oakey didn't want this to end badly for himself. He was finally doing something useful he was wasn't being fed to deadly plants or freezing at the site of his worst fear. He was putting out a dangerous fire, or at least trying to.
...and then of course a Puffer Child had to speak up and make matters worse. "You think I'm just standing here because I don't want to help?" she snapped. "Just when I was starting to think that your kind might be worth it after all..." Honestly. She was trying to help by getting everyone out.
Simon was still putting the fire out when he turned around and shouted at the Slytherin. "And what do you mean when you say my kind?" Simon was angry now, he had never felt this angry before.
Simon turned back to the fire and continued to try and put it out but it was no good and he had burns on his hands and he was coughing a bit it was as if this fire just wanted to continue who ever started this knew what they were doing, he was sure about that.

He saw several students trying the cast Aguamenti and initially thought to do the same thing. But an old memory has emerged that was trigged by the blaze. Wouldnt potions react with water-- making it possibly worse? "Wait!... these are potions... water might cause a reaction.... make the fire even worse." He pointed his wand on the ground and mustered as much concentration as he can, memories of summer fun coming to the forefront of his vision. "I need sand!" he hollered as he flicked his wand, and sure enough a pile of sand shot from his wand, forming into a sizeable pile on the ground, as well as a few starfishes, pebbles and toy buckets. Huh, it was starting to look like a vacation already.
He grabbed the bucket and filled it with sand, hollering at those still casting. "Hold on! Lets try this first..."He flung the sand into the roaring blaze, scooped up from the pile and flung at it again. He hoped it would work because he couldnt think of anything else that would subdue the flames other than sucking all the air out.

Arabella-Marie hardly could see Simon through the smoke and said "I am not leaving because this fire was not started by any of us students" Arabella-Marie coughed quite a bit and started to feel a bit dizzy from the amount of time she had spent in the smokey dungeon

"KURUMI LOVE TALK TO ME!" he began to get worried even more than he already was when he could not hear her. He picked up someone over his shoulder and carried them out into the hall, not realizing that his right arm and back were now on fire. "SOMEBODY BLOODY GO GET TATE NOW!" He ordered before heading back in there

Connor grabbed Sierra by the collar and some other kid by the arm with and began pulling them out. He turned to the Hufflepuff and asked him. "How many more people are in there? Is Kurumi still in there?" Connor turned to Sierra and got in her face. "Sorry to do this to you luv but SHUT UP and go get Tate or LaFay NOW!" He pushed her out of the room.
Grabbing someone else he pushed them out of the door too. "KURUMI LOVE?"

Simon who was still trying to put the fire out heard someone speaking too him, hoping it was a Professor he was annoyed when it turned out to be a student. "There a few people here." That was an understatement. "Has anyone gone for a Professor Tate or Professor Vindictus?" He wasn't sure how much longer he could continue with trying to put the flames out. "I think we should change tactics and try and keep the flames away from the potions until a Professor can come." Simon said.

"Gee, ...thanks. We hadn't thought to put the blasted fire out," Sierra sarcastically thought to herself, regarding the boy with a roll of her eyes. With all the smoke, though, she wasn't even sure he could see her. She couldn't even see him, after all.

Sierra ignored the Puffer. This was neither the time nor the place for that type of discussion. "Get out," she spat at him again. "Your hands are hurt and they'll only get worse." Wasn't it the Gryffindors who threw themselves face first into the line of danger? Why exactly did this Puffer insist on staying?!

Abandoning that line of thinking, she thrust her hands into the bucket Salander had prepared and threw the sand onto the fire.

"Throw the sand, Romeo, not the students." Honestly. Leave it to someone who was apparently in love with Hollingberry...
...and if he called her Love or told her to shut up one more time, she was going to shove a wad of sand up his nose. With a slight hiss, she reached into the bucket again and tossed more sand onto the fire.

Forgetting that her hair was white for the moment, Kurumi cast another Mizurus boru spell and brought the balloon crashing down on a bottle that was one of the few that hadn’t exploded yet.
Kurumi just stared at a Slytherin girl who jumped into the thick of things asking if she wanted to be friends. At this point, Kurumi would accept friendship from Cookie Hater if it meant she wouldn’t turn into a burnt cookie. “Tell you what, if we survive this, we can become friends over a cup of tea,” Kurumi said just before another loud explosion erupted from the storeroom and sent more shards of various objects all over the place.
A piece of glass found its way into her arm that was already throbbing, but didn’t cause too much damage. Just enough to rip her robes and scratch her skin a little.
Kurumi then heard Salander’s voice and her eyes widened and tears began pouring down her face. “Salander!” she chirped as he threw himself between her and the fire. What was he?! An IDIOT!? He was going to get himself hurt over her and she was not happy about that. “I-I-I don’t know! All I did was open the storeroom’s door and it exploded…” She hugged the older boy close and cried into his chest. Her entire body was shaking from fear and the throbbing in her head was only getting worse. She was beginning to feel a bit faint as well.
Turning her head slightly when she heard Eino speak to her. Wait…she was WHAT?
Kurumi’s hand held the side of her head once more and it felt even sticker than earlier. She was bleeding! But…she couldn’t just leave while everyone was here fighting. Bending down, Kurumi ripped the bottom of her black robes and handed it to Eino. “Tie this around my head,” she commanded. It should stop the bleeding, at least a little. Right now, they needed all the wand power they could muster to put this fire out.
Kurumi rolled her eyes at Seirra. Now really wasn’t the time to be bickering about this. Kurumi really ought to just shove a cookie in the girl’s mouth and send her on her way. When her water balloon exploded on the girl’s head, Kurumi’s hair almost turned a brighter shade of white. “S-S-Sorry!” she squeaked. “A-At least now your hair is temporarily fireproof?” It was damp after all. Damp things didn’t burn as well.
Kurumi had to admire the first year Puff. She would have to bake him cookies after this was over. Assuming that they all survived and kept their promise to the Headmaster.
Kurumi spun around when she heard her name being called again and saw Connor hauling someone off over his shoulder. “CONNOR!” she shouted. “I’m right here!” Then she saw that he was on fire…Wait, why was Connor even here!? She knew he was afraid of fire. Speaking of fire…his robes were burning! “Connor!” she shouted pointing her wand at him and giving it a quick flick. “AGUAMENTI!” A jet of water erupted from her want and put out the hot flames that were dancing on his back and arm.

Finally the naggy Slytherin girl got to it and started to put the fire out with them.
Wasn't that Salamander who conjured up a beach under his feet. Oakey didn't know which to go with. Ditch the water idea and go to the sand or stick with the water?
Oakey decided to stick with the water, so what if a couple of potions were ruined. If the fire wasn't put out all the potions would be destroyed or worse explode. Sacrifice a few for the good of many.

Simon looked at the girl he really wanted to Hex her but now wasn't the time nor the Place for it. "Oh its not that bad." Simon lied the pain was getting worse but he had decided that he would rather help save Hogwarts then watch it being destroyed because if they didn't put out the fire it could spread to the rest of Hogwarts and destroy everything and with the potions in there were if they went up with a bang then he doubted he would know about it until he was sat on a cloud playing a harp though hopefully that wouldn't happen.

Arabella-Marie could see a couple of students putting sand onto the fire and carefully walked over to where they were and got some sand and put it on the fire and said "Come on we have to get the fire out before any more potions explode" Arabella-Marie's hands were burnt but she was wanting to help put the fire out
Simon looked as someone shouted Dragon. "DRAGON?" Simon looked around. "WHERE IS THIS DRAGON, I want to play with it." Simon smiled if there was a Dragon then he was having the first go with it, he didn't care if Lafay or anyone told him off, he had always wanted to fly on a Dragon.
Simon looked at his hand, it was hurting him for some reason and he didn't know why, saying that it was probably because the heat was really wicked. "Aguamenti!" Simon said hoping it would work but not sure. "I think we should get a bit closer maybe that will help?" Simon was hoping it would.
Chloe could smell something smokey coming from the potions area as she explored the dungeons. natural curiosity had her heading right into the trouble. She opened a small storage room and saw fire and Simon was there. She could tell he wa trying to put it out but things were getting out of hand. "Augmenti", Chloe said attempting to help. "Simon, what on Earth happened here? We should probably get out of here. Lefay will be here any minute. AND EVERYONE,THIS IS FIRE, GET OUT.".

Coincidently just passing by, Aiden sees the potions storeroom surrounding is in a huge mess. Broken walls and potions ingredients scattered everywhere. Smoke and dust makes it more difficult to see what is happening."What in the world happened here?!"for the first time Aiden shouts. She looks extremely shocked.

Simon looked at Chloe. "Well I was cold." Simon said. "I came when there was this Slytherin girl and two others here and this fire and I thought I should try and help them put it out." Simon said truthful, he wanted to help protect Lafay's stuff and so he continued to try and stop the flames from going near the potions. "What made you come here?"
Kurumi, Sierra and all you other peeps theres so many lol!

He glanced at Kurumi worriedly. It was definitely her, but now she had a head full of white hair which definitely made the redness from her head wound even worse. But before he could worry about her further the flames surged stronger, almost feeling like it could singe his hair off.
He back up a bit, but kept scooping the sand into the bucket and flinging it at the blaze, twisting his head away from time to time. It felt like his whole head is just about well done now, and the flames were still going. He couldnt tell if it was because there was that much potions feeding it or if the water pouring out was actually making it stronger.
"PEOPLE! GRAB A BUCKET AND START THROWING SAND INTO THE FLAMES!" he hollered as he bent to grab another bucketfull. This time he saw that Sierra has taken a bucket as well. "Sierra! Try to fling the sand towards where the shelves would be, try to cut off the source of the fire!" he hollered as he flung sand as deep into the storeroom as he can, trying to aim for the shelves located further in.

Kyle had had it with the young things in her being unsafe. Sand was the way to go as Salander had said. And she threw some on the flames - the flames were starting to slow. Barely.
"Everyone whose not in atleast fourth or fifth year should get OUT" she explained her tone firm. "And someon GET a PROFESSOR anyone will do! Even Professor Bentley!" She yelled as she quickly cast a bubble head charm on herself. No smoke inhalation for her today. She grabbed a bucket of sand and threw it again, and again, repeating the process with more and more sand each time. This thing needed to be nipped in the butt.

Eino shook his read in objection. "No, we have to get you to the Hospital Wing." It probably wasn't that bad, but it was a head injury and it had to be treated immediately. Someone already had gone for Professor Lafay and more students were helping put out the fire now. Plus, he didn't want to be there when Lafay came back, and especially not Kurumi. Others were already blaming her for the fire and Lafay would probably punish her before she could say a single word. Lafay did have the right to be mad, just not at Kurumi, or Eino. Neither of them had to do with the fire they just noticed it first. "I will then go to the Headma-- ow!" He rubbed his left arm. "Come on!" He said grabbing her hand and dragging her along.

"I could smell the smoke from the corridor. I had to see if everyone was ok. Seeing this fire I am thinking everyone should just get out now. People aregetting hurt. Lefay or some professor is sure to smell the smoke. Students putting their lives on the line is just idiotic", Chloe said staring to cough a little bit. "And", cough, "We would", cough. "Do much", cough, "Better getting", cough, "Help", Chloethen quicklyleft hoping Simon would seereaon and follow. Shewasoff tothe corridor inhopes of finding a professor.

K-Lee wasn't a nosy sort of person, but when she heard the screams and shouts from the potions storage room, and smoke hanging around, she couldn't help it. Anyone would be curious if they saw that.
Walking closer, she gasped seeing flames. "WHY IS IT ON FIRE?!" She shouted, eyes wide in slight fear, though otherwise she was just plain interested. She loved fire but this was just...
Maybe she should help instead of shouting at them? MEH. "Hey Aiden, any idea what's going on?" She asked, walking over to her first year friend.
Oh look, the flames were getting bigger. Might be a good idea now to help. Water probably wouldn't help, but a fire extinguisher... She didn't have one though.
When her cousin had burnt down the kitchen when baking, she had used a fire extinguisher, and K-Lee remembered hearing her say that it worked quicker or something because of the type of fire...
"DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A FIRE EXTINGUISHER?" She shouted so hopefully everyone could hear her. Others were using sand, that could work too...
Grabbing a bucket, she helped out too. Though she probably didn't look as cool than she would if she had a fire extinguisher. She didn't want to leave. All the action was here. She threw the sand at the parts the fire was headed too, and some on the fire.
She should do this professionally when she grew up, like those muggles. K-Lee liked putting fire out.
Simon was still trying to put the flame out. "Chloe, I can't leave I have to try and stop the fire from spreading whilst a Professor comes here." Simon said and then looked at the person who was throwing sand. "And who says that a potion won't react to sand?" He didn't know if it could happen but maybe it could.
Simon hands was burnt, his legs were burnt but luckerly his injuries weren't as bad as other people though Simon was now wishing that a Professor would come and help them, how were they suppost to put the fire out, which way was correct.

As Sierra started to cough a little, she backed away from the bucket of sand and took a few steps back. The fire, or the smoke really, was starting to get to her. Wasn't there something they could cast in order to stop the flames? Something besides Aguamenti?!
Amidst all the chaos, she reached for her wand, a though suddenly occurring to her. "Wait!" she called out, although she wasn't even sure her voice could still be heard. "What about the Flame Freezing Charm?!" Could they hear her? Someone? Anyone? "It's supposed to change the effects of fire, so it won't burn us..."
"Dragon,"replied Aiden simply, still petrified."Come on! We should get a professor!"she says pulling her friend's shirt away from the scene.

Arabella-Marie didnt want to leave but she knew that a third year like herself couldnt put out the fire but really it was the inner gryffindor in here that was making her stay even if she got injuried she knew that she had to help in anyway possible
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey was about to cast another Aguamenti when Salamander had yelled at them, demanding they'd use the sand. Fine Oakey thought as he was about to pick up and throw a bucket of sand at the fire a Girl had yelled for his age group to get out.
Maybe it would be best if Oakey found a professor that was job better suited for little firsties.
But
Oakey didn't want to. He was determined to help put this out, he threw the sand at the fire. They needed as much help putting the fire out don't lessen the amount of help If they want me to leave then they'll have to make me.

K-Lee gasped. "A dragon really? Is it still around here? It sounds cute!" Okay, maybe wrong time for her to want a pet dragon, but it DID sound cute. Minus the whole it could kill her with one large breath of fire...
She reluctantly let her friend drag her away, sad she couldn't do more against the fire. "Which professor should we get?" She asked Aiden as they left.
