"Hello professor, how are you?" She said, smiling at him brightly and taking a seat. She looked around the room, trying to see if anything would point towards what they were doing that lesson, but couldn't find anything. Aww. She had been hoping to have a clue. She wasn't too big on surprises, thus her shock and anger at being told she was transferring next school term. |
And there was the first student. :x3:
Looking up from his feet and at the door to see who had entered the classroom, Jeremy grinned back at K-Lee cheerfully.
"Hello, good to see you again." Especially since she was the first of hopefully a lot to arrive today.
"Very well, thank you. How are you? Had a nice summer I hope?" And as always with the first student to arrive there were a lot to follow soon.

His grin didn't leave his features as he looked around. It looked like any normal classroom and when his eyes landed on the professor he quickly dropped his stupid grin. Instead, he put on a smile and waved at him. "Hello Professor!" he said still waving. "Can't wait to start my first..." he glanced quickly to the blackboard. "Muggle studies lesson!" He then turned around to find a seat and chose one near the front. |
Oooh. New student. He didn't know this one. A quick glance to the front of his robes told Jeremy it was another Slytherin. Not that he personally cared much for houses.
As long as Gryffindor was in the lead he was fine with anything. "Hello there. I'm afraid I don't know your name." He pointed out with a smile, quickly considering introducing himself but then again the boy had taken a good look at the blackboard so that was probably unnecessary.

She entered the classroom, and immediately saw the professor. She nodded her head in acknowledgement as she smiled and greeted, "Good day, Professor Zookara," she greeted. Kurumi had filled her in on that one, she said Professor Zookara was a brilliant teacher. Now was the time to prove it. |
And yet another new face. A Gryffindor this time. A very friendly Gryffindor.
Returning the girl's smile Jeremy nodded once and said,
"Good day to you too, Miss...?" He gave her an inquiring look, expecting her to introduce herself. Hopefully he wouldn't have to make a list of names. No, he was usually quite good with remembering them. Usually.

"Hello, Professor -" his eyes found the blackboard, "Zookara." Did he say that right? Placing his bag on the desk, Jamie took out everything he would need for the lesson. Right, right. All set for some learning.
GRIN. |
See, writing his name on the blackboard had been an amazing idea. He should have it tattood to his forehead so nobody ever had to wonder what his name was. Or wear a name tag. Yeah, that would probably be the better idea.
Erm. "Hello." He greeted the Slytherin boy back with a smile.

But, Kurumi was far too timid for such things.
Practically skipping into the classroom, Kurumi walked right up to her favoritest professor and smiled. "Good day, Professor Zookara," she chirped before taking her seat right in front. "Walnut wanted to come to class with me today, but I told him he needed to stay in the common room. I don't think he is very happy with me right now. He really likes you." She took out her parchment, quills, and textbook and set them in a perfect row on her desk before taking a seat and folding her hands over her book. "Have you found a spot for the rubber duck yet?" |
Well, SOMEBODY was excited for today's lesson. Apart from him that is.
"Good to see you, Kurumi." And that somebody had not taken their
horrid lovely cat along to class. How
sad NOT!!!one!!!1!!!.
"Yes, he would only be distracting you." And HIM especially. He wouldn't be able to concentrate on holding a lesson when he had to make sure that thing wasn't going to attack him the moment he turned his back on it.
The rubber duck?
"No, I haven't. It's hard. But I will find the perfect place, I will." Yes, some people might call him crazy but every duck had its perfect place and he just hadn't found the right one for the one Kurumi had given him.

He waved at the professor but he wasn't sure if he had seen him so he took a seat in the front row and waited patiently for class to begin. |
People had the most interesting ways to greeting him non-verbally. Though, Mia's peace-sign was still the best. By far.
"Hello Eino." Jeremy greeted the boy with a grin before waving back at him even though he was only a few meters away from him.

Than again...it was so easy to walk to this class... "Hello Professor Zookara." she said brightly as she walked in, glancing around some. "None of that RPC today, right?" Hehe. Yes, she had no clue she just said that backwards, but it didn't matter! It was joke in her mind. So...laugh. Or else. |
Why exactly it was that Evelyn, among others, still took Muggle Studies, Jeremy wasn't exactly sure. Maybe she still hoped to gain some interesting knowledge about Muggles...okay, yeah, probably not. But what WAS the reason?
"Hello Evelyn. Good to see again." Before he could turn to another student, Jeremy raised his eyebrows at her upon hearing her question.
"CPR, it's CPR and no, none of that today." At least it wasn't part of the lesson. Who knew what could happen though.

The only class that Mia excelled at, probably because she had grown up with muggles and had even thought she was part muggle. That was until she found out that she is actually a pureblood. But that's another story for another time. "Hey Professor Zookara. Looking good as always." she said brightly and giving him the peace sign as she sauntered passed his desk.
And then she was right behind a familiar looking Slytherin. "Ev!!! Where have you been?" Mia had not seen the girl since...the train. She was sure that the girl liked to hide from everyone. Except Josh that is. |
Mia was...well, Mia. Jeremy stared at her for a second as she greeted him with a...peace sign? With a grin and a soft chuckle he replied,
"Hello Mia. You too." Was he supposed to return that peace sign? No, he wouldn't. That wasn't appropriate probably. Not that he was usually giving people peace signs. Whoever they were.
He should ask somebody afterwards. Maybe that was the IN thing right now. Not that he was too interested in that but you always liked to technically keep up to date with stuff.

So... she made a few more steps further and smiled at the man. "Hello, professor," she greeted, then sat down at the nearest desk, somewhere in the front of the classroom. |
More students he knew already. Not well, but at least he knew their names. So it wasn't going to be only new people today.
"Hello Helena." She did NOT look happy to be here. Not at all. Why did people even take the class when they actually didn't want to be here?!

And there was the new Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain. This reminded him, he really had get back into playing more. He truly missed it. He would have to contact Sam soon or something.

The first year greeted the professor politely: 'Hello, sir.' and then looked around for a place where to sit. |
So many new faces! It made him grin happily in delight as yet another little girl entered the classroom. He was still missing quite a lot of his usual students from the last few terms but they were bound to come soon. Hopefully.

She sighed and opened the classroom door, her brown eyes scanning the room in search of somewhere to sit. Ahh, Evelyn...and that Hufflepuff girl she thought was named Maria. Or Mia. Something. Passing by the professor's desk, she gave him a small smile of acknowledgement and then took a seat by Evelyn and Mia. "You two get stuck taking this class, as well?" she said, sliding into her seat. |
Wow. He got a smile from Sierra. That was something considering how much it seemed she hated the class. Once again, why was she TAKING it in the first place? Oh well, he wasn't going to complain about people taking his class though.
Simply smiling back at her as she passed his desk on her way over to Evelyn and Mia, he couldn't help but overhear her comment. A small frown flashed across his face as he huffed barely audibly before turning to see who was greeting him.

Coming to an abrupt stop in the doorway, Ivory blinked owlishly at the classroom. At the students still finding seat, calling out greetings, generally getting ready for class.
Letting out a huge sigh of relief, the Ravenclaw prefect shuffled forward her breath still coming in a little fast as she weaved through the seats to find an empty one. Thanks Merlin. It would just not do for a prefect to be late. She had to set the right example and all that jazz.
Spying the Professor, Ivory brought up her hand in a cheery wave as she took a seat. "Hey Professor Zookara." |

"Heya." Jeremy returned the boy's greeting and watched him take a seat.

Muggle Studies. Why did wizards have to take an irrelevant class like Muggle Studies? Elise was half muggle so she should really know the answer to this question but she doesn't. It wasn't like her muggle mother was ever around when she was growing up. She just knew she was part muggle. For her, this would be a small glance into her mother's world. Once she found a suitable seat near the middle of the classroom she sat down and then gave a smile to the professor. "Hello Professor! Having a good day?" Elise's father told her it was always wise to speak to your professors before, during and after classes because you never knew when you would need them in the future. |
Another friendly new student. Jeremy grinned back at the girl as she greeted him.
"Hello there. Yes, I am actually." He couldn't say why but it wasn't bad so it had to be good, right? Yes. Optimistic world view.

Then taking her quill, ink and parchment out of her bag and placing them on her table - ready for class to start |
"Good morning." Jeremy echoed with a smile for the Gryffindor. Hearing her introduce herself to another student, he made a mental note of the girl's name. Rose.

Yawning slightly (he hadn't gotten a very good night's sleep that night) he wandered into the Muggle Studies classroom, GLARING at Sierra as he walked to his usual seat near the middle of the room. Yup, he was still mad at her. He was going to be mad at her until she said sorry. Which would probably be never, so he was just going to remain angry with her forever. "Good morning professor," he said sleepily to Zookara as he sat down. Ahhh Muggle Studies. This should be an easy lesson. No need to try and brew things or concentrate on spells while you were falling asleep in this class. |
Maybe he should have started with discussion
Sleeping Beauty instead of Snow White. Would have definitely suited Alex current condition. He seemed to be in danger of falling asleep right then and there.
"Good morning, Alex." Maybe he should get him one of his pillows.
Or keep him awake with discussing interesting topics.

For one, she was excited; what if they discussed Muggle films that involved princesses or maybe even Sailormoon. Second, her mom would be really mad if she found Peyton actually enjoying a lesson like this.
Hmm.
Dilemas, dilemas. Ignoring her last thought, the girl straightened up and walked to the front of the class. She wanted to be in the front row, mmhmm. "Hello Professor, I'm Peyton Baltazar, first year Slytherin," she said with confidence. Although, he might be too busy staring at his feet to hear her. |
Jeremy was watching the girl who had just entered the classroom and...had stopped dead in her tracks all of a sudden.
Err. Was she okay? She seemed a little torn about what to do. Was she in the wrong classroom?
Waiting for her to say something or ask him where the library was or whatever else made her so confused, he was quite glad it seemed she had decided to stay.
"Hello Peyton. Nice to meet you." He replied with a friendly smile.

*deep breath* "Hey howz'it going Professor Z!" the Slytherin lad jerked his head up at the other man grinning, then takes the seat next to Lexi and Kurumi. Now to keep his heart from bursting out of his chest. |
Salander...was breathing awkwardly.
Err. "It's going good, thank you. How about you, Salander?" Jeremy replied with a small grin for the Slytherin boy, wondering what in earth he had done before class.

"Good morning professor..." She greeted the professor politely. |
So. Many. New. Students.
They just invaded the classroom. A good invaded though. He was always happy to see new faces.
"Good morning to you too." Jeremy answered with a grin.

"Good morning." Jeremy echoed the boy's greeting and watched as he sat down next to Kurumi. Oh, was he a friend of hers? Though, who DIDN'T like Kurumi.

Good day, Professor Jeremy Zookara! - Anasta also added, moving from crazy Connor, closer to the center with clever professor Zookare as old friend, loving pleasant songs. |
Jeremy had watched the girl take a seat without greeting him which was why he was now staring at her, hoping she would realize her mistake. And apparently she had. Good girl.
"Good day to you too." He greeted back, briefly considering to ask them all to make name tags like that Ravenclaw had. Would make things easier.

Ellie walked into muggle studies. Being muggleborn she knew lots about muggles already so she hoped that she wouldn't fail it. "Hello professor." She said, sitting down in an empty seat. She looked around for someone she recognised, but couldn't see anyone. |
"Good day." He greeted yet another unfamiliar face. Somehow it seemed there were more new students than returning ones. Was that possible?! A quick scan of the room with his eyes proved him wrong, however. There still were more people he knew than ones he didn't. But it certainly seemed like it was the other way round right now. Not that he minded of course.

Aww. Had she just curtsied him? That was so cute.
"Good day to you too. And what is your name?" Jeremy asked the little girl with a grin as she walked off to take a seat. Yes, there definitely would be a lot of new names to remember.

'Good morning Professor,' he says. Seeing the class not started yet, he sighs quietly and goes sits at the back. Hah! Muggle Studies. It hopefully is manageable... |
The moment Jeremy had got up to close the door - assuming by now everybody should have found their way into the classroom - another boy came dashing in. Oh how very wrong he had been.
"Just in time." He commented with a small grin and a wink for the Gryffindor as he closed the door behind him.
