Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.
The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:
Get up off of your seats
Ready for some fun?
You ain't seen nothin' yet
For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new
Nothing comes between us
Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong
In a game that's do or die
On this autumn night
Near the crimson fireplace
Solid friendships forming
People so full of grace
Rockin' the competition
In a race for the house cup
Doing everything we can
Earning points to keep us up
Reeling for a win
Us Lions gettin' it done
Loyality guiding us through
Everyone working as one
I Can Accept Failure. But I Can't Accept Not Trying

Jordan turned around and saw Ronnie. "Hi Ronnie. It's nothing." Jordan lied. He had always heard his friends talking about their families and how fun they had with them. All he had was a working Uncle. He didn't want to succeed in making a scene so he dashed out of the Great Hall saying, "Well, I got to work out. My stomach's starting to get a little settled in. Best time to run, when your stomach is full. See ya later." Jordan said not really caring about anything else. He felt like punching a wall. The anger got the best of him. So he headed up to the grounds to run, and run long.
Emma quickly turned her head Emma quickly turned her head and tried to give William her best smile, despite the current situation at hand with Brae and Charlie. "Hi William," she said with a smile before it faltered. Died? In an accident? Aww Rex. She felt a hard lump growing in her throat. "That's... Terrible. I'm so sorry- If there's anything I can do to help him and your family let me know, okay?" she said, starting to frown. Emma nodded. "Thanks," she nodded and flayed him a smile.
Turning back to face Charlie and Brae, she gave them both a small smile. But soon that smile dropped and turned into Emma gaping in surprise that Brae would just run away using an excuse like that to his ex. Merlin's Beard. She felt terrible for Charlie. Perhaps she should be the one joining in on telling Mr. Stonem off with Charlie? Hmmm..
But before the Malfoy could say anything else, Braeden grabbed her hand. Squish. Apple pie... Great.. The blonde listened as Braeden began to explain the whole situation. Emma knew what he was saying was true because: one- Emma watched Brae turn back into himself and two- Brae cause Brae wouldn't do such a thing like that. So, she decided to stay quiet and listening, waiting to see if Charlie would believe him or not. Theo...
" I see why Rex liked you as a friend" William told Emma. " your smile brightens up everyone's day" William said to Emma. " I will let you know if we need any help" William explained to Emma. You welcome" William smiled.

And speak of the devil, Theo appeared. "Hi Theo." said Emma, forgetting the whole thing why Charlie was mad. Wait.. a minute...
But before she could do anything else, Charlie was telling her something. Emma gave Charlie a happy smile as the girl turned towards her. She pushed a strand of blonde hair behind her ear. Happy that Brae's girlfriend is you? "Thank you," she began and then took Charlie's hand, "I'd love to still be friends. Sounds brilliant." Still beaming, Emma was glad that Charlie had suggested it because she thought Charlie was pretty cool.
And then before she could talk to Theo, a girl called Trina came over. "Hi, I'm Emma," she said, beaming Trina a smile. AND THE BRAEDEN LET OUT A ROAR! Emma stood their, mouth a gape as she watched Brae do so. Whaat? Braeden mad? Impossible. But Emma decided to stay quiet in the whole situation, yet she grabbed Brae's hand just in case he'd fling himself at Theo cause you never knew what would happen.
And then William was addressing her again. GAH! Too many things occurring at one time. Emma flashed him a quick smile and chuckled. Her smile brightened up people's day? "Thanks William. That's too sweet," she added, before turning back to keep an eye on Brae, Charlie, Trina, and Theo.

Emma, meanwhile, looked like a girl deciding whether or not she wanted to hit the nearest punching bag or... who knew what went through the mind of a Malfoy. In this sudden surge of fear, the Ravenclaw hadn't even noticed that half of his muffin had dropped from his shaking hand and lay abandoned on the stone floor, crying lonely tears of crumbs.
He had made a boo-boo, evidently.
Everything came rushing back to him as he looked at the brunette girl, a slightly inquisitive look on his face. Had he... screwed up? Evidently. All of this was too much to take in within a span of forty-eight hours. He wanted to hide under his covers in his bed, for the moment.
Hurriedly licking the crumbs from his lips and brushing a few from his shirtfront, he answered the girl with as much bravery as he could muster. She looked like she wanted to rip his head off. If she ripped his scalp off, that was all well: at least his curls would probably grow back in place of the bloody irritating, yet still handsome, Brae hair. "Hi," He squeaked, clearing his throat and attempting to speak up through the fear that coursed through his veins. "Nice to... officially meet you, Charlie."
His gaze swiveled over Braeden, who didn't look murderous but looked... hurt? D': It pained Theo to see his friend like that, and his heart felt like it had dropped into his stomach. What hath Merlin wrought?! "I... I..." That was the last straw. His face crumpling, Theo began in a distraught tone. "I didn't know, I'm sorry, I didn't even know these two," A hand fluttered in the direction of the two girls that were practically strangers to him, "...I said the only thing that I could to get me out of the situation, so I thought of mentioning Emma. That was it." He looked like a wee, pompadoured bunny who was about to well up with tears.
Trina had winced when Braedon 'roared' but she couldn't help but feel a little bad for the boy they had called Theodore. She offered Theo a small, reassuring smile, not sure why he was being called over by the group. However, she was beginning to get an understanding for what had happened.
She frowned as the boy fluttered his hand towards them. "There were plenty of other ways," she muttered with a small smile to Charlie. She couldn't help but feel slightly bad for him though, he just looked so upset about the whole thing.

Braeden was only barely aware of a fifth character entering the scene, this one a Gryffindor just like him. She looked vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite remember where he'd seen her before. He assumed that since they were both Gryffindors, he'd probably seen her in class or in the common room. His mind wasn't on that, though, but on the sweet-faced Ravenclaw that was trying to explain himself at that moment.
As Theo spoke, looking like a frightened little rabbit Thumper, Braeden's features softened further, and now he looked like he might just burst into tears!
OHGOSHDARNIT, why did Theo have to be so darned cute?! Just look at him, sitting there so innocently, dropping his cute little muffin and explaining himself with that innocent little face! ;___; Brae simply could not stay mad at him. Heck, he hadn't even truly been mad at him. Just totally confused and overwhelmed, but he could never truly be mad at his best mate (or anyone, really).
"It… it--it's alright," muttered Braeden after a moment's silence, brown eyes gazing at the Ravenclaw boy almost adoringly. He felt so bad for scaring him now…
Brae released Emma's hand at that moment and took a couple steps over to where Theo sat. Smiling one of his dorky smiles, the Gryffindork extended his arms. "Hey…"
... STUMBLE WERE BACK IN BUSINESS.
Let the bromance, begin!
Braeden let out a long sigh of relief when Charlie apologized, making it quite obvious that she indeed believed him. OH THANK MERLIN. The boy thought he was destined to die suffocated by apple pie, but it seemed he might just live to see another day.
"That's alright… I can understand why it'd upset you," said the boy with a smile. It was good to have Charlie back - the real Charlie. The nice and sweet one that always knew just how to brighten up his day. His smile only widened as the girl offered her hand to Emma, and he turned to Emma with a smile then. Happy endings exist after all!
THAT IS.
Until a fourth character nonchalantly strolled into the scene.
.
.
. "THEODORE DUMBLE!!!!"
Brae had never heard himself sound so loud before, but the sudden appearance of Theo in the scene rather overwhelmed him. He wasn't sure whether to let instinct take over and just drool at the sight of him with that hair, or confront him about what was going on. Braeden wasn't the argumentative type, though, so it wasn't long until he was back to his dorky, goofy self.
"Mate… what exactly were you doing while you still looked like me, just an hour ago?!" he asked the innocent muffin-eating Ravenclaw.

Trina saw Braedon's eyes on her and she turned to give him a small smile. Memories of them conspiring together slowly began to come back, causing a smile to spread on her lips. There was still a suit of armor in the Gryffindor common room because of them. But that was another story.
Suddenly, things seemed to clear as the two boys hugged. Trina took a step back, her eyebrows raised. What a nice ending.

"Charlie!" she exclaimed, worry lining her face.
The bromance was gonna have to wait.
Just as Braeden was about to envelope his boyfriend best mate in a reconciliatory hug, suddenly, Charlie fainted. Arms still hovering in the air, the boy turned his head as he heard the thud! and his eyes widened just enough to cover up his whole face.
"CHARLIE?!"
Ohmygosh, WHAT IN THE WORLD had just happened?!
"Charlie!" It wasn't long until the Gryffindork boy was at the unconscious blonde's side, with Trina, who had thankfully caught her head before it could hit anything. What in the world had just happened!?!??! "Wha--why--how--" he didn't even know where to start. Where was Ellie when you needed her?! Gah! The boy knew a few spells, but they were mostly for healing wounds and that sort of thing. Nothing for fainting! "We have to take her to the hospital wing..." he suggested meekly. Because really, what else could they do? Or what else could Brae, who knew nothing about first aid, do?

Theodore felt slightly better, not cowering in his trainers as Brae and Trina, a new acquaintance, seemed to show some sympathy. As for Charlie... she would probably hate him forever, which was alright with Theo. Just another Ruby-like person to avoid, right? "Aw, Brae," He sniffled, about to embrace his best mate as if they had just reunited after a ten-year split, but...
THUD! went Charlie. What the bloody hell was going on? A part of Theo wanted to crumple to the floor as well, but he willed himself not to. "Hospital Wing," He murmured, blue eyes wide with apprehension. "Now. Someone should carry her." Looking at Brae and taking a deep breath, he figured it had to be the both of them to do it, since the girls probably wouldn't want to. Not like Theo was jazzed to do it, but wouldn't he have wanted the same done for him?

"Jordan are you telling the truth-" she started, but he was randomly dashing off. "JORDAN! WAIT!" she said, running after him. "WAIT!" she said. She sighed, he was gone. But she didn't care, she was going to find him. Where would you run? She thought to herself. "The grounds of course!" she said outloud, and she ran after him.

Emma was about to tell Trina the answer to her question when Charlie fainted. MERLIN'S BEARD. Everyone seemed to be fainting these days. Her brown eyes grew wider instantly. Fainting was not good. Not good at all. The blonde nodded as Braeden mentioned that they had to get her to the hospital wing. Emma looked at Theo and nodded. "We better get her to there quickly. Brae, Theo, can you two carry her, or do you need help from Trina and I?" said Emma, bluntly, before bitting her lip. Why did Charlie faint? Perhaps she was dehydrated over tired? Something? The blonde tried to think back to the day when she fainted at the Lake last term. She woke up in the Hospital Wing and couldn't remember anything else..
"Perhaps she's dehydrated or hasn't had enough sleep or is extremely stressed out. Whatever it is, we need the Nurse.. now," cried Emma, taking full charge, hoping that the girl she had just met and her new friend would not die on all of them.
" You welcome" William told Emma. " I see you have other friends you are talking to you" William said to Emma. " I do not want to burden you with my
friendship snd my talking" William explained to Emma. William just sighed after those last words.

She wanted to eat her cake in piece peace!
But, as long as Josh was there, that wasn't going to happen. And since she was sort of invading his territory by sitting at the Gryffindor table in the first place, she couldn't be mean to him. Not that she ever thought she was the mean one. It was always his fault. Taking another forkful of the cake, Destiny turned to face him once again. What was up with all these questions? "Well.." she drawled, eying the cake, then eying him, "I am trying to eat this cake." Merlin! He was acting like her..
O_O
As Josh went to fill the goblet with water, Destiny dropped the fork and moved her hands up to her hair. NOT her hair. Evelyn's hair! Evelyn's STRANGLING hair! How could she have forgotten!? It was the cake's fault, it was! Pushing it faaar away from her, she picked up the goblet of water, and was just about to take a sip when he asked yet ANOTHER question. But she couldn't answer it as herself, no, she was EVELYN!
Scowl.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Really, she had no idea..
Trying to eat the cake?
Well...Josh just had to frown at this reply a bit because that was not what he was asking for. And he very well knew Evelyn could figure what he actually had asked. Apparently she was either trying to avoid answering the question or simply did not want to answer it at all. Then the Gryffindor boy eyes the cake. Chocolate cake wasn't it? Since when had Evelyn Flores started to eat chocolate? Well...he always thought there could be a moment that even his girlfriend would feel the need of consuming chocolate sooner or later. Yet, attacking a huge cake...like that? This was weird. Weird.
So once he was done glaring at the cake, he moved his gaze back on the Slytherin girl. ''You are teasing me, right?'' Because, otherwise, the boy started to doubt if this was his beloved she-snake. Or maybe she had transfigured some other food to look like a chocolate cake and it still tasted like its previous form. That was possible. She was a skilled witch.
When she dropped the fork, Josh jumped off the table and picked it up. Of course the current state of it was not good enough for her so ''Scourgify'' he murmured quickly pointing his wand at it before placing it next to the cake plate for her to use. ''Here.''
He was still getting suspicious about her though. However, seeing the scowl all the doubts left his mind. This was a very Evelyn scowl after all....combined with the very Evelyn words that had just been voiced. ''You know what it is supposed to mean!'' so the boy protested a bit. She had to stop acting like he was an idiot after all. ''Are you still seeing him?''

Not like Theo was jazzed to do it, but wouldn't he have wanted the same done for him?

Sweet Merlin!
If Destiny knew it was going to be this difficult to be Evelyn, she might have reconsidered who she polyjuiced into. She thought a few scowls now and then would have taken care of everything. Of course, she did not think she would have to be dealing with Josh while under the potion. If she did know, well, she would have taken the chocolate cake to the Common Room.
Following Josh's gaze to the chocolate cake, the chocolate cake that she so desperately wanted to finish eating, she blinked a few times at his question. Teasing him? Did she mention Josh was crazy?
Jumping as he began his protest, Destiny stared at him, eyes wide and mouth hanging open slightly. To say she was confused would be an understatement. It seemed she had missed a whole lot of things while she and Evelyn weren't friends, and she made a mental note to ask her friend about this later. But, whoever this him Josh was talking about..it wasn't a good seeing him. "What are you trying to say?"
Did she ask that question already? Meh.

Braeden was glad to see that everyone agreed to taking Charlie to the hospital wing, and listened as they all debated on how to transport the girl. As Trina suggested levitation, the Gryffindor boy's bushy eyebrows furrowed slightly and he shook his head. "No… we can't carry her like she's luggage," he said. He knew that wasn't what Trina was implying, but he felt weird carrying a person through the air the same way he carried his luggage and other inanimate objects. Besides, the second the person performing the spell got just the slightest bit distracted, Charlie would fall to the floor and… yeah, that would only make matters a thousand times worse.
"Theo and I will take her," he finally decided, turning to his best mate and gesturing toward Charlie's unconscious body with his head. He then very gently wrapped his arms beneath Charlie's own and picked up the upper half of the girl with ease, waiting for Theo to help him with her legs.

Theodore was pleased, to say the least, that the others agreed with him. He nodded vigorously at Braeden, though, as he attempted to keep his cool. No one had ever fainted on him before, so this was terrifying to say the least. This was almost as if Ruby Blair had fainted on him and as if he had been forced to take her to the hospital wing! Shudder.
Taking one ankle in his hand and doing the same with the other, he grabbed onto a bit more of her leg to make sure that she didn't slip from his grip and nodded, briefly making eye contact with the Gryffindork to tell him that he was ready. Taking her up the stairs, especially in the hands of two string beans such as Stumble, would be a task, but the bigger task would be to have to explain what happened to the school's healer. Fainting from emotional distress, eh? Theo felt like he would be receiving a few matronly glares within the next few hours.
Giving an unsure half-smile to the others, he slowly began to amble out of the hall, the trio attracting stares as they exited the hall.

Trina nodded in understanding at Braedon's statement. It made sense, but the suggestion was also a sensible one. If one didn't have the physical strength, why not use a spell? But, they had the manpower (literally) so she was glad to turn the task of carrying Charlie over to them. She nodded and stepped back so that the two boys would easily be able to help Charlie up.
As the boys hoisted Charlie up, Trina did a quick glance around to make sure nothing was left behind. Gathering up the remained of Charlie's things, she followed the boys out of the Great Hall.

But, whoever this him Josh was talking about..it wasn't a good seeing him. "What are you trying to say?"
Did she ask that question already? Meh.
What was that?
Josh's eyes widened with...mixed emotions as the girl spoke again. He couldn't really describe how exactly he was feeling yet he knew that was not a good feeling. Not at all. It pulled him into a rather bad mood actually. He completely lost his apetite. He was not feeling hungry anymore. And those were bad signs.
With those words now the Gryffindor was certain that she was teasing him, playing with him. Why would she give out such an odd, useless answer that had nothing to do what he had asked for if her intention had not been that? It was now obvious that she was implying that she was not going to answer his questions. She wanted to avoid his questions. ''You know what?'' so Josh began still standing there next to her, his gaze not leaving her for even a split moment. ''It might be that i have to eat at THIS table all the time, not at the Ravenclaw or Slytherin one but it doesn't mean that i am an idiot. You know that, don't you?'' He wanted to make sure since it was a little heartbreaking to know that your girlfriend thought you were an idiot.
Then he watched her expression which looked like as if she was, somehow, confused or surprised. Why would she seem to be like that anyway? Had not he made it clear before that he did not want her to be seeing THAT COWARD? He knew it had not sounded so good to her, as if he was trying to forbid her seeing people or decide with whom she could be friends. But that was not the case. He knew Riley was no friend to her. He knew he had his eyes on her. It was as clear as fresh water. And worst of all, since the coward knew that he would never let him take his girlfriend, he was just trying to spend as much time as he could before he graduated, just to enjoy himself. He was trying to use her! Why couldn't Evelyn see that?
With those thoughts, the flame in the boy which was a mixture of anger, annoyance and disappointment had already been started. And what the she-snake said next didn't help him with it. Not at all. ''You know what i am trying to say!'' he exclaimed letting out a deep and strong breath out his nostrils. Was not this kinda enough that she was teasing him by replying his questions with questions pretending she couldn't figure what he meant? ''I see.'' so he murmured trying to calm down and sound calm and collected. ''Knowing his stupid intentions, Rose, i have to share the same dormitory with him. I have to eat at the same table with him. I have to share a common room with him. And most importantly i have to try not to kill him within this progress. And THIS is what you are doing to me, is this?'' his expression chaging into an utterly sad one he sat down yet a little bit away from the Slytherin girl.
''I love you with all my heart. All i am trying to do is to protect you. Even from the little spiders. And you said before you loved me. Is it really too hard to pay attention to at least a single thing i said? You have never come this table for me. You haven't!!! But you have been wandering around this table when i am not around. Yes, someone told me you were doing that. Why is that...Evelyn? What did i do to deserve that?''

Jordan was hungry, super hungry. He didn't have a reason for always being hungry, it was just his nature. Then again, he did burn quite a number of calories each day. He went to the Great Hall, grabbed some Eggs and Bacon, his favorite Egg combo, and sat down. He found himself a couple feet away from Rose, his first year friend from Gryffindor.
"Hello Rose." As Jordan began to swallow some of his eggs while he began to indulge in some milk to get the dryness and chapness of his mouth off his mouth. His body was feeling exceptional, while still recovering from the previous day of workouts. He thought it might be best to take a rest, until the Summer began. After all, his Finals were terminated, and he was ready to proceed with the Summer Holidays. He was also expecting someone, so he eat a little slower than normal. If all went wrong, he would just eat more while he waited for Ronnie to get here.

Finals. The thing Jordan hated most about Hogwarts. "Oh. Finals. Well I only had two, Defense Against The Dark Arts and Potions. And Potions went particularly good." Jordan began to think of that day being polyjuiced as Rose, and how terrifying it was for him to be a girl. Harder than it looked for Jordan. "I'm still waiting to hear back from Lord Borr and my DADA finals. Turned them in yesterday. So I'm pretty much set for the year." Jordan said relieved the year was almost over.
"Although," Jordan began to say, "I do regret not taking Charms. I'll have to take it next year. Hopefully I can learn more about Defense Against The Dark Arts, than I did this year. It was such a disappointment, I was looking forward to that class."
"How about you? How were your finals?" Jordan asked.
Did you just lose something? The GAME? Sorry... 'Justin Bieber, he is the man!' U mad, Felton!?

'Well, I did Potions, obviously, and Charms... Charms I did good in, and Potions I did good, although, I wasn't Polyjuiced as the best person!' Rose stuck her tongue out at Jordan. 'Yeah, I hope he's not doing DADA next year, I refused to do the Final, it was a mockery!' Rose said getting heated up. 'It was the one subject I was looking forward to and he ruined it for me!' Rose fumed.
