" I can eat all the meat I want now and not worry about you telling me how to eat" Wiliam told Rose. " You can be the biggest vegetarian of all time because I do not care anymore" William said to Rose. You know why I do nt care anymore" William asked Rose. " We already broke up" William sighed.

Food was definitely Carter's favorite time of the day. And anytime potatoes were served made it even better.

Today was one of those potato days. (Which meant it was pretty much the BEST DAY EVER!)

He sat down at an empty spot at the table. His eyes took in the scene of all the food. It was glorious. Looking at it made him hungrier. With a hungry fire in his eyes he piled his plate high.

This had to be one of the worst days ever.

Well, they had all been pretty bad, ever since that thing happened, that thing that was too depressing to even think about, but this day, it was just horrible. Destiny had tried to reason with the house elves to bring her down some food. They had been doing it for the past however many weeks, but all of a sudden they decided to stop. Which meant she had to actually get out of bed and go get her own food.

HORRIBLE!

So, still dressed in her pyjamas, not caring that is was probably the middle of the day, she moped her way up to the great hall. Sure, she could have went to the kitchens, but she didn't want to see those elves. Pffft. They were even lower in her books now. Standing at the doors, she let her eyes wander around, and she was just about to head over to the Slytherin table when she did the unthinkable and glanced over at the Gryffindor one. Her lower lip began to tremble, and spotting Carter there, she dragged her feet over to him.

Plopping down beside him, she placed her forehead against the table. "Carter."

'Yes, I know that thank you...' Rose said icily. God, did he have to remind her! 'Why do you think I've been ignoring you?' Rose said as if it was obvious, which it was. God, was he so bitter he was going to blame it all on her now? She turned around and spoke to some other Gryffindor.

Thea raised her eyebrows as she tore a bit from her garlic bread. She didn't know if she should speak or not so she returned to her meal.

Brushing her side pony tail to the correct place, she munched on her garlic bread. Mmm, this stuff was good! Grin.

"Hey Destiny." Carter replied happily still piling his plate high. From the looks of it he was trying to build a food sky scraper. It was only right before he took his first bite that he looked at Destiny.

In his potato bliss he had momentarily forgotten about poor Destiny. Patroclus left a few weeks ago and he hadn't really seen Destiny since then. He figured she was still replaying moments from their last meeting and probably repeating some random animal nickname for each other in her head.

He rubbed her back in an attempt to comfort her. "It's potato day." he announced moving the bowl in front of her. He knew how much she loved potatoes. They had once gotten in a fight over the bowl.

" Glad,we talked at the Whomping Willow" Willaim told Rose. " I am happy we are friends now" William said to Rose. " I know we can still talk to each other"William smiled.

Nika skipped to the great hall with a smile on her face. Even though she was having a hard time getting over the fact that Emily was leaving she tried not to let it get to her. She knew that everything happens for a reason and if she's unhappy then she's not really Nika.

The second year adjusted the daisy that she had in her hair as she searched for a seat in the always-busy great hall. Finding an empty area at the lion table she skipped towards it and sat down. Now to eat.

" You seem very happy" William told Nika. "Are you doing good in classes?" William asked Nika. " I like the daisy in your hair" William said to Nika.

'Yep, has Presley changed her mind yet?' Rose asked William.

" Presley had not changed her mind sine the last time I talked to her" William told Rose. " She is a reall good friend to you" Wiliam said to Rose. " Nothing i can do about her feelings" William explained to Rose.

'Yeah, I'm gonna guess she doesn't like you in that way...' Not like I did... Rose added to herself. Rose surprised herself by adding, still do... to her thoughts.

" No Presley does not like me that way at all" Willaim told Rose. " Presley and I are become best friends" Willaim said to Rose. "Easy come, Easy go" William laughed.

'Hmm...' Rose said as she suddenly became very interested in her veggie lasagne.

Bye enjoy yur food" Willaim told Rose crying. " You win" Willaim said to Rose as he cried even more than ever.

Simon walked into the Great Hal picking up his pace as the older man yelled and ran after him. The smells of the food were made stronger as he neared it. As per the directions of Vindictus, he made a quick beeline for the Gryffindor table, the area of the room most comfortable to him being his house and all. "There...first stop." he stated absently, settling himself down on one of the benchs.

Vindictus saw Simon sit down and he laughed at the young man. "Yer sittin' on the job. Grab a platter and fill it with yer grub!" he exclaimed and grabbed a large serving platter for himself.

Platter in hand, he walked over to the strawberry shortcake and stared at it for a moment. Should I grab the whole thing or just take a giant slice?

Decisions.

Lexi snortled at Professor Vindictus and followed suit as she came up to the table. Hmmm... where to start?

Grabbing a serving platter she eyed it for a minute and shook her head. Setting it back down she flexed her wrist sending her wand into her hand once more. Tapping it she cast a silent Engorgio at it and smiled when it grew about twice it's normal size. "HA!" she exclaimed to herself as she began to grab anything and everything within reach and piled it on the platter she had tweaked a little bit.

Simon raised an eyebrow at the comment. "What? I was gettin' a closer view of things," he said getting back up to his feet. And what a pretty view it was. Taking a hint off his two crewmembers, the seventh year picked up another large platter and looked around for his choice of food options. Finally starting with a basket of warm and non-grubby bread.

Ivan, flipping his galleon and with his eyes wide walked into the Great Hall and followed two traitors and the Captain over toward one of the tables. Looking around he sat several seats down and grabbed a plate. His large eyes fell on Lexi and he flipped his coin again to annoy her.

Sticking the coin in his pocket he started piling his plate with food and looking over his shoulder not trusting any of them.

Lexi had taken her eyes from the table as she heard someone else sidle up and frowned as her eyes fell on IVAN.

... well he was SOMETHING. Something BAD. And MEAN. Yeah. Pfffft.

She would have that coin before it was over with. She would STEAL it and flip it on his big forehead before the term ended. She would bet her good eye on THAT.

It had taken Arya a bit, seeing how she had to drop her bags back off in her dorm, but she soon was back with the group at the lion table. They weren't too hard to spot either. Skipping over to the group, she grinned at them in greeting and took a seat.

Unlike them, she didn't need to take the time to decide what she wanted to eat and how much of it. SHE was starting with a whole apple pie.

YUM-MY.

He decided on a large serving, and quickly carved out a generous chunk of the strawberry shortcake and placed it on a plate. Then he spied the apples, but they didn't look that tasty after all.

Then Vindictus spied something even more delicious looking at the Ravenclaw table.

"BLUEBERRY MUFFINS!" he exclaimed rather loudly and pointed with his free hand towards the Ravenclaw table. "AND . . . AND CHOCOLATE CAKE!"

Keeping a secure hold on his serving platter, he headed directly over to the Ravenclaw table.

A few bits into her pie, Arya looked at the Ravenclaw table and back to her pie. Hm. She could take this with her... and probably add to it. Hehe. Grabbing her plate, she followed after her Captain gleefully.

Simon had been quite enjoying his food, so much so that he had been satisfied staying at his usual table. But after a while he stopped not sure what was happening but he was suddenly called as his name resounded from the Ravenclaw table.
