Fifth Floor Corridor Here a door, there a door, everywhere a corridor. |
Conan had followed. Well as far as he could follow. Treyen had been not far ahead of him. So where had he gone? He frowned. There was nowhere to go along here. An odd portrait though. He looked at the name. Boris the Bewildered. Who was Boris and why was he bewildered? Silly wizards. |
Sarahloo <3 Alex had been eating, he had been practising, he'd been sleeping and he'd been staring out through the window. He was officially out of things to do to keep himself occupied. Classes hadn't started yet and for the first time he really wanted them too. He wanted to spend his days on the lessons, he wanted to get assignements, he wanted everything to keep him occupied. To keep him from thinking about her. Although it was much easier to decide not to think about her than to actually go through with it. Even when he wasn't thinking about her, he was thinking how good he was that he wasn't, which of course made him think about her. It was all an evil cycle. He walked through the corridor with his eyes steadily at the floor in front of him. Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot. Perhaps breaking up with his girlfriend, well ex now, had been easier if he'd had someone he could talk to. Sure, he could talk to Leo, Emma, Savannah, Katelynn and the others but it wasn't the same to talk to them as to talk to his best friends. Not only did he miss Ellie like crazy, he also missed the company of his two best friends Chandler and Fee, who from the looks of it were both doing just fine without him. He sighed like a sad puppy, maybe they were all better off without him. Chandler and Fee were two people he really missed (but of course he was too proud to tell them) but Ellie... Ellie was different, Ellie had hurt him. He missed her but at the same time, it hurt too much to think about her. Alex decided he didn't want to meet her, it was too early. It would hurt too much and it wasn't good if she saw him all mopey. But that was exactly what he was. Mopey and alone. Complete and utterly... Alone. |
*wibble* Quote:
Her and Chandler's friendship had almost diminished since the night of the break up. And she was only really close to him and Chandler before. Yeah, she had Fee, Alex had probably already gone to her and told him how terrible of a person Ellie was. Fee probably didn't want to hear Ellie's story. Ellie'd been walking around the school aimlessly for the past hour or so. She couldn't sit still. Her arms were folded across her chest and she was looking at her shoes. She didn't even know where she was, not that she cared. She was in her own, sad and depressed world. Ellie almost didn't notice anyone else was near. That is, until she ran straight into them. "Mffgh." Escaped her lips when the collided. She nearly toppled backwards, but managed to regain her composure. "Sorry..." She mumbled, without looking at them. In all honesty, she was too out of it to care. She pulled her shirt down and looked up for a split second. She recognized the brown hair immediately. A gasp leapt out of her mouth. Alex. She couldn't move. She wanted to hug him. She wanted to kiss him. She wanted to run away. She wanted to yell. But she was frozen. |

"Ellie..." he said, almost to himself. How could he had mistaken which day she would return to? He had already planned not to walk around the corridors when Ellie was back, he would be safe in his Common Room or on the Pitch but never ever somewhere public where they could run into each other. "I'msorryIwasn'tlooking." he said quickly and ran a hand through his hair. What was he supposed to say now? He had no idea, it had never been awkward between them , well apart from those times when he started to discover he had feelings for her. |
Quote:
Ellie could either try and make Alex see that she knew everything was a huge mistake. If only she could just talk to him and try to get what they had before back. Then her second option was to ignore him. Move on. Find something better. And potentially forget him. Because that's what Alex did about her. Or so it seemed. Finally breaking the eye contact, Ellie moved her eyes back to her feet and absently scratched her neck. "Er, yeah. Me too, sorry." She muttered back. Now what? She didn't know what to say. She didn't know what to do. She knew what she wanted to do, but she couldn't. It's good to see you." Ellie blurted before she could stop herself. Crap. She shouldn't have said that. Shouldn't have said that. But it was too late. |
You TWO <3 Sigh. Why was this so hard? So weird? So...strange? Chandler was just too alone. At least things were going alright between him and Kaia..kinda. It was quite depressing at times but they were better than they were at the feast. She was the only person who he could talk to right now, no Leo and certainly no Alex and Ellie. Chandler wouldn't be surprised if Alex never talked to him again, it wasn't his fault though. Well, it was a little but he was willing to think that and he was VERY glad that he hadn't seen Alex around yet. It would be just too awkward especially if Ellie were to return and the three landed themselves together somewhere. The Hufflepuff boy walked through the corridor with his hands in his pockets and his eyes focused on the floor, nothing moved except for his feet. He looked like he was walking in slow motion, like in movies and tv shows, to make it dramatic and stuff. And this WAS dramatic, the slow motion-y walk wasn't needed though so he just stopped walking altogether and that was good timing because he saw a pair of feet in front of him and he felt another person there too. Chandler bit his lip and gulped before gradually looking up. OH. GOD. It was..them. He looked away from the both and stepped back a little. He would say something but he couldn't find the words. Looks like he did a bad job of avoiding them both. |

All three of them stood there in silence, obviously no one knew what to say, and the awkwars silence grew longer. Suddenly he felt very out of place and like the third wheel. Ah how easy it would be if he could apparate, he would apparate straight to the Common Room. Or the Pitch. Or maybe the Kitchen, mmh foood... He didn't dare to look up at either of them, he just kept his eyes steady on the ground giving away a small awkward cough. Wait, he wasn't supposed to do that, then Chandler thought he was ill. His eyes flickered to his twin to see if he had noticed the little cough before he scratched his neck slowly. "Erm, I guess I'll just... Go." he mumbled. To give the two of them some space. He missed both of them, like a lot. And truth was, he wasn't mad at either of them, they couldn't have helped what happened. If he'd just run into Chandler, he might have apologized but he couldn't do that with Ellie there. Besides, he was too much of a coward to do it. And Ellie... With Ellie everything was just too hard, she'd hurt him and it was too early for him to be friends with her, probably because he couldn't be just friends with that girl. Alex was pretty sure both Ellie and Chandler had it better off without him, which is why he started to take a few steps back. |

Now what? What were they supposed to say? What needed to be said? While Ellie was at home, she always thought of the things she should say to Alex or Chandler when she got the chance... But now that they were both here, her mind was blank. God, she just wished everything would slip back into place. But that would never happen. Not now. Because Alex was starting to walk away and Chandler probably didn't want to talk to her. "Alex, please don't go." Ellie said, reaching out and lightly grabbing his arm. "You can't keep running away from this." She said quietly. How she wished Alex would hold her again, kiss her. Ellie missed him so much, it hurt. It hurt to see him not care. Ellie opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. She didn't know what to say to either of them. She glanced at Chandler, wishing he would say something. A lump formed in her throat. Things would never be the same. |

Liam <3 Fallon was wandering aimlessly through the castle. She had on one of her favorite outfits. The weather was starting to cool so it seemed appropriate. She had her hair pulled back into a loose ponytail, which she almost never did. It just seemed like the perfect day for it. She spotted an empty window sill and jumped up into it, setting her handbag next to her. She pulled her knees up to her chest and turned to look out the window. Fallon just loved looking out over the grounds. She leaned her head on her knees and just took in the landscape. |

Simon sat down next to this person without looking to see who it was and feeling that the whole world was against him, he just suddenly said. "If your going to start on me then don't bother I'm in a mood and probably would do something I regret." Simon said slowly as he tried to keep calm, hopefully that would tell the person he wasn't in the mood to talk incase they felt like they wanted to. |
Quote:
She didn't even notice that someone else had joined her in the window sill, until his sudden outburst. She dragged herself away from her thoughts to look at...Simon? "Simon? Are you all right?" Fallon turned so her feet were now hanging off of the sill. She looked at her friend in concern. She'd noticed that he had grown a lot since the last time she saw him. It really had been a while. She wanted to know what was wrong though because this just wasn't like him. |
Quote:
"And why would I tell a stranger all my problems, I ain't that sad." Simon snapped again, oh he was letting it out now and the poor girl wouldn't know what hit her. "Or does everyone talk about me behind my back and say that I am sad I wouldn't be suprise, I suppose by ex-best friend Treyen told you I was stupid and didn't care about anything just because I can't get Divinations." Simon once again snapped. |
Quote:
...until Simon started to talk again. Wow. Something must have really been wrong with him. She wanted to ask, but he kept talking and she didn't want to interrupt. Once he was done, Fallon really didn't know what to do. She wanted to stay and comfort her friend, but he really didn't look like he wanted to be comforted. "Well...I don't know who Treyen is, but he sounds like a jerk. And Divination is a stupid pointless subject, so don't worry about it." She pushed herself away from the window sill and just stood there. She still didn't know if she should leave. |
Quote:
Simon looked up to ask the girl nicely to leave when he suddenly realised who it was. "Fallon." Simon said as he looked at her. "I thought you left last year?" Simon was confused now, maybe he wasn't thinking straight and he was seeing Fallon because that's who he was thinking about, Simon closed his eyes. "I'm dreaming aren't I?" Well if he was then he could do anything and get away with it but he had to make sure first, he felt the first tear coming into his eyes as he openned his eyes again but Fallon was still there. |
Quote:
"You're not dreaming." She watched as he closed his eyes and reopened them, as if he was double checking. Fallon frowned as a tear started to fall down Simon's face. "Look, I'm sorry for not being here for you before, but I'm here now if you want to talk. Or I can still leave. It's up to you Simon." Either way was fine with her. She really did want to know what was wrong though... |
Quote:
Simon then continued. "Then I thought you had left without saying goodbye and I was sad because your one of my best friends and so I didn't know what to do, I read half the letter and there seems to be some trouble with something, but I'll tell you that later." Since Fallon knew Simon was a Prince he could trust her. "I know Treyen's in love with this Slytherin Girl and I'm sure that's why he betrayed me but still." Simon stopped as tears streamed down his face, he couldn't say anything else. |
Quote:
Fallon frowned. She was part of this. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to see you this summer or near the end of last term. There was just a lot going on with me." She nodded at the last part, knowing full well he would. She knew this could be a touchy subject, but she had to ask anyways. "Do you know the girl's name?" Not like Fallon would do anything bad to her...maybe. She gave Simon a hug as he started to cry. Fallon really didn't like seeing him like this. |
Fifth floor corridor. It's the first time Zara's ever been here. Hmm, wonder what can be found here. Nothing? No people? No students? No ghosts? No nothing? Zara frowned, she was hoping to find some adventure. Find some room, but I guess adventured would have to wait until she finds a best friend to share it with. It could've been Matt if he was still at Hogwarts. Really, Zara never saw him anymore these past few days. He wasn't at classes. He wasn't at the common room either. Could he have just mysteriously disappeared? No, not likely. But where was he? Sighing, Zara stopped walking in the middle of the corridor, and opened her bag, searching for something to do. Or anything that might remind her of something that she has to do. Seeing nothing but parchments, inks, quills, and some textbooks, Zara could only think of homework. She was almost done with everything. Just the Care of Magical Creatures homework left. But she'd do that some other time. Now, she wanted adventure. Looking back at her bag, she saw a reflection, something shiny. Curious to what it was she took it out, and found out it was just a hand mirror. An ancient hand mirror, might I add. It seemed rather odd, she knew she hadn't put it there earlier this morning. Oh well. She took it out anyway, thinking of what she might be able to do with it. Deciding that it seemed quite odd of her to stand there in the middle of the corridor, she went nearer to the wall, and sat in front of it, her back leaning at the concrete wall. She looked at the mirror she had in hand, now what? Maybe she might as well do homework instead. Frowning slightly, Zara was about to return the mirror and go to the library to do homework when she remembered she had another homework to do. Defense Against the Dark Arts. "Right, there was one about a mirror," she quietly mumbled to herself. Something about goals. Well, here goes. Zara looked straight in the mirror and saw a little girl with soft brown hair that trails off in luscious curls. Goals, goals. Do this, Zara, and fast. You don't want anyone catching you there, looking at the mirror as you're sitting down on the corridor floor. "First, be a good student at Hogwarts. Scratch that, there are many good students. Okay then, be the best student at Hogwarts. Second, be a great concert pianist like my mom was. Third, spend more time with friends and family. Fourth, read more books. Hmm what else?" She bit her lip as she thought some more. The girl in the mirror copied her actions. Well of course it will, it's her. "Err. Stop crying when you try to reach your toes. Be a better person with a happy personality. Become a great and wise witch like my grandma Eve. Be a friendly person to everyone. Spend my next six years at Hogwarts wisely." She was overdoing herself. These were simply too much goals. Now, to proceed to how to achieve them..ALL. "Okay, the first one be obedient to instructions, study hard, and respect everyone, including magical creatures. For the second one, practice. Practice, practice, and practice some more. And feel the music I'm playing with all my heart and with full of emotion. Third, make a schedule, maybe and budget my time. For the fourth goal, just read and read I guess. And of course, retain them all in my mind as I read them," Zara smiled at her reflection. The girl in the glass' lips curved into a smile too. "Take the pain, and get used to it. And then, think more on the positive side of things. Just strive hard and do my best, then I'll be a great witch. Be friendly...well, just have a very nice personality and show kindness towards others and always offer help to those in need. For the last one," Her smile slowly grew into a wide grin. Spend her next six years at Hogwarts wisely. How is that? "Have great adventures, make a lot of friends, experience life, learn lessons, respect teachers, and spend every day like it's the last." Happy with what she had accomplished, Zara put her mirror back in her bag. And stood up. She had goals. And she has to achieve them. Well, maybe the homework wasn't so bad after all. She walked away from the empty corridor with a huge smile, and a renewed heart. Singing a happy song, she skipped her way going downstairs. |

"It's okay Fallon, I'm just glad I was wrong and you didn't leave last year, I was worried I'd upset you or something and that was why you left without saying goodbye." Simon sighed. "And I don't know the Slytherin Girl but I do remember her ugly face." Simon said. "So I could point it out to you the next time I see it." |
Quote:
Fallon frowned. "If I would've known that I was going to leave, I would've said good bye. Or try to write." She knew she'd failed at this before, but she wanted to forget about that. She regretted that always. She smirked. "Sounds good to me." |
Quote:
"I hope you would." Simon said as he hugged Fallon again, he didn't want to know what year she was in because he had this feeling he knew since he thought last years was her final year, then this year must surely be it and that was something Simon didn't want to find out. "Cool, though don't hex her or anything she ugly enough as it is." |
Quote:
Fallon gave Simon a slight grin. "I might as well remind you of this now: it's my last year at Hogwarts." She had a feeling Simon wouldn't like hearing this very much. She couldn't help that she was moving on though. Fallon giggled. "Depends on who she is. There's a couple Slytherin girls just begging to be hexed." Fallon probably wouldn't though. Her record was still clean. |
Clutching a piece of paper in one hand and his plushed duck in the other, Daichi made his way through the castle , trying to find a place where he could ..in lack of other words.. "train" for the Defence against the dark arts assignment. The first year had never seen the DADA teacher and wondered why he/she..it? wasn't teaching them properly , like how it was suppose to be. And besides that , NOTHING on the list would help him learn MAGIC. Daichi wasn't a hero when it came to performing magic and he wanted to become strong too ...waiiiiiit! Daichi checked the list in his hand. He knew he had read something about talking to yourself about your goals. Ah! there it is! but he needed a mirror. Greeeat. Back to the REAL task he was here. Daichi Katharos was going to perform front rolls on this very corridor! He took a deep breath and looked around him once more , not wanting to embarrass himself. Yush! he could do this!. Daichi placed his duck plushy against the wall and one last time did he look around. Better do it now before anyone sees him... He first balanced himself on the balls of his feet in a squat position. Then he placed his hands on the floor in front of him. He tucked his head in and let his body roll............to the side. Daichi lay on his side in the middle of a corridor. Waaaaaaaah! he couldn't even do a simple front roll! He jumped up on his feet , a thought coming to his mind. Why would he even DO front rolls? Why not just write them down and PRETEND he had down 50 front rolls? No he should write a few less otherwise it would look suspicious. He grabbed his special made DADA journal and wrote his "Activity" inside it. hehehe. |
