Conan nodded, "Oh ok then. Joke shop then?" That sounded exciting. He was looking forward to it. Though there was that joke shop in Diagon Alley, but he hadn't been in there. "I'd like to try some sweets too. Not chocolate ones though."

Aurora smiled "That's cool, I love piano!" She grinned, "Maybe you can play some of my compositions with me." She said, smiling.
She saw Zara looking at the pages of the book. "Fur Elise, I like that too." She lifted her flute up again and played though the piece.

"Maybe," she smiled. "But that would mean a trip to the Room of Requirement, then." Yeah the only place where a piano could exist. Unless Tate knew of a secret place here where they could find a piano.

Aurora nodded, she had been looking for a piano for a while. "Yes, I went up there, it was a grand!" She smiled. "I miss my own though, it was a red baby grand with red keys instead of white..." she said, thinking back to it. Her mother had let her choose the new piano when the old one had finally given up, thrown off all the repair charms and packed itself in.

"We should do that sometime, I don't have my pieces with me right now though and I think if I go back down to the dungeons I might just fall asleep, I've been so tired recently..." she trailed off.

"So what else do you like doing?" she asked, shaking of the lethergy.

Zara yawned, maybe now wasn't the right time. It was getting a little late, and Aurora talked of falling asleep. She might knock dead unconscious here in the classroom any minute really. "Well, I'm thinking of calling it a day." She pouted a bit. Zara wanted to hang out more with Aurora but her eyes were battling with her brain and her desires.

"Hmm, me too." Aurora yawned. "We should hang out again! And don't forget we have to go and see Professor Tate about the DADA thing!" she added. She was not missing out on parts of her education. "Your common rooms up a load of stairs though, I feel sorry for you!" she grinned, "Mine is just down there in the dungeons." she stook her tongue out and took her flute apart. Cleaning it carefully.

"Of course I won't forget. We'll let him know bright and early tomorrow after breakfast. Meet with you at...where?" She smiled, yeah it was an idea. A good one, though she wasn't sure if Tate would approve of it. Maybe he'd assign some professor to help them, or maybe he'd get mad at them for not being content with their current professor--I mean Minister.

Then Zara groaned. Right. All the way up to the seventh floor. Why don't they have escalators here? "I feel like I'll pass out on the staircase. Who knows, maybe some nice person would carry me all the way up once they find me sleeping at the staircases." Bwahahah, Zara had a specific person in mind. But that was impossible. Oh well, she'd have to struggle to go all the way upstairs. Not to mention the additional staircase to reach the dormitories. Maybe she'll just content herself to the couch? Her eyes were now closing a bit, but she always caught in time to keep them open.

"Meet you in the Great Hall?" she grinned. Tate HAD to let them do it, he must know it was impossible to learn without a proper Professor...

"Oh dear, seventh floor..." Aurora laughed. "See, us snakes are quite happy down in the dungeons. I'm sure you could come and sleep on our sofa but some of them are a little... anti-lion." Aurora shrugged, still giggling. "Right, so, tomorrow morning, Great Hall. Your table or mine?" she smiled. She was actually making friends out of her house.

"Great," Zara grinned. The Great Hall. Yeah, she made a mental note in her mind to meet Aurora in the Great Hall tomorrow after breakfast. So she would just have to look for her in the Slytherin Table. That's the plan. Zara yawned.

Giggling, Zara stuck her tongue out at Aurora playfully, "I think I'll pass. Don't want to wake up with something weird on me." Zara could imagine it now, all those anti-lions could probably do to her if she slept down there. She shuddered a little. Eep. "Hmm, I don't know really. Yours is a good idea, I've never been there." She smiled and yawned again. Maybe she could spend the night at this classroom? Zara felt the energy being sucked out of her and the thought of going all the way to the seventh floor made her even more tired than she was.

"Brilliant. See you in the morning then. Get to your common room safely." Aurora smiled at Zara. She looked very tired, Aurora just hoped she got back to her dorm alright. "Goodnight." Aurora yawned and turned to leave.

Standing up, Zara nodded sleepily, she almost fell over forward as she nodded. But carefully, getting back her balance, she stood straight again and smiled sheepishly. "See you. Yeah I hope I make it," She said though she seriously doubted she would.

"Goodnight," and Zara yawned again after seeing Aurora yawn, not knowing why. She began to leave the classroom too, walking slowly since her knees were almost giving up on her. Maybe she could sleep at the Great Hall...? Oh well.

"Joke shop and sweet shop, then.." Ellie totally agree to that. Zonko's and Honeydukes were the best shops on the street, anyway. Definitely the 'must go' kind of shops. Especially Honeydukes, you couldn't pass it, smell it, and NOT go in. It was impossible.

"I could get sweets for you when I go with Treyen, if you want?" Then, if they did go next term, he'd know what he liked.

Mina smiled as she slipped back into the natural movements of the dance. It wasn't as bad as she once thought it was, okay it was rather boring still. Boring was tolerable to her, but glancing back to look at Dallin, she nodded. "I think I remember those, I'm a bit rusty at them; but we can try," she replied. It was always a hard move for her before, but maybe time was on her side.

"You know I've always found this dance boring," she voiced with a shrug.

Distancing herself from him once again, she moved to get into position to try the side turns. Pivoting her in the distance of their turn, she waited for his signal. She wasn't one to really take lead as it wasn't what she was really used to with new people.

Conan beamed, "Yes please. I don't have any money though. But I can ask my Mom during the winter break for money and then I will pay you back." They had more than enough back home. He just didn't bother bringing any to Hogwarts. Unless she wanted dollars. But she couldn't really use them. "No chocolate though, please." Yes no chocolate.

PFFFFTTT.

Pfft.

"Don't worry. It'll be like a gi-" Ellie felt as if she was hit in the face with a pan. Seriously.

She...did she hear right? "No chocolate?" That...could NOT have been what Conan said. Just...no.

No.

It'll be like a gi....ft? Gi....rl? Gi...gawatt? What was she saying? Crazy girls. His eyes widened though as she looked like she had been hit by a bus. Oh no.

"I...um....don't like it," he nodded. Yes that will do. Nothing bad about that. At all. She would never know.

Lies. Such lies. No one disliked chocolate. "Have you had Honeyduke's Chocolate?" Ellie asked.

Obviously not. Honeydukes was the best.

Conan shook his head, "Of course I haven't." He had never been to Hogsmeade, therefore never been to Honeydukes. And definitely never tried the chocolate. He hadn't even looked at it.

"I'd rather not try it though." He didn't know what might happen if he did.

Right. Of course he hadn't.

"You do NOT know what you're missing..." Ellie trailed off. Seriously, he should try some. Ellie'll get him some anyway. If he wanted it, good. If he didn't, then he just won't eat any. Whatever.

Conan smiled, "I don't know if I prefer not knowing." He knew he did, because he didn't miss it at all. He'd rather not be dead. Though he didn't even know if he would die. He didn't like to think about it.

"Do they have skittles?" He liked skittles. The sour ones were good. He liked sour things.

"You should want to know. It's the best. Better than Sugarplums," Ellie said very matter-of-factly. "AND they have their own fudge," she added.

Skittles?

Skittles....sounded....familiar....slightly....may be...

Whatever. It didn't matter. "No. I don't think so." She pretty much KNEW so, actually.

Conan shook his head again, "No fudge either. Candy is a good thing though. Any kind of candy. Nothing milky." That was more of an explanation. But still didn't tell the full truth.

"Oh." What kind of sweet shop was it, if it didn't have skittles? Stupid wizards.

"Okay," Ellie nodded, finally deciding to just...let it be. Just candy, then. Sugar Quills, Fizzing Whizbees, "What about peppermint?" Anything against that?

She shrugged. Skittles were very Muggle. And not nearly as good as any Wizarding candy.

But that was just her opinion.

Conan nodded, "I like mints. I sometimes like chewing gum at home. Not when I am out and about though. People might think it is rude." And he would hate that.

"Do you like skittles?"

Good. So Peppermints could be added to the list of possibilities.

Ellie sighed. "They're alright, I suppose." Nothing to rave about, really.
