Finlay had felt that the whole hunt, and lagoon had gone as a big success. Everyone had seemed to enjoy there selves, and now they were going to hand out there epic trophies. After a bit of discuss, they had worked out who had won each one. And now Finn was ready to hand out the first couple of trophies
Heey Guys." The headboy grinned, as he came to stand alongside Iris. He'd changed out of his boardshorts, and into a more presentable blue polo shirt, and some trousers. Although he kind of still wanted to be down the lagoon in his board shorts. As Iris said I'm gonna give out the trophies for the guys that where the first two the lagoon. We're giving out two trophies, one for each pair that got there first." With that he reached into the box, and pulled out the trophy.
The first trophy goes to....Sierra Greingoth of Slytherin, Harper Crickette of Hufflepuff, and Lola Jones of Slytherin, who were the first out of those two houses to get to the Lagoon." Finlay wanted for the three students to step forward, before he handed across their very pretty Trophy"Congratulations to those three" and to go along with that little speech, he clapped, hoping that some other students would join in.
[b]And the second trophy goes to...Orlando Renaldi of Gryffindor, and Ryden De Marco of Ravenclaw, who were the first of those two houses to get to the lagoon." He waited for both students to step up before handing the trophy over to them. "Congradulations to them." Along with some more clapping.
With that over, he nodded, and glanced back at Iris. And onto the next trophies.

"MOON SHIIIIIIIIIIINE?!" Lola called out as she started entering the area in hopeless desperation. This couldn't be! WHERE WAS HER MERMAID SISTER? In fact, the Slytherin girl was missing-in-action for this entire event because of those lost hours swimming the lagoon in hopes of finding her glittery sisters, Moon Shine and Sparkle Corn, in which they would swim away from this cruel world into that mermaid haven that Sierra Greingoth so called it! EVERYTHING WAS A LIE. Where were the glitters? Where was her father underneath all of those rubbish?! The tridents were treated as if they were carelessly left behind and she so needed to take at least one of them as a souvenir but alas, they were too heavy. This obviously indicated that their was no more hope left in the world and she would die a human forever with those pathetic feet of hers just dragging off the dirty ground like the filthy thing she was.
What was she suppose to do now?
Lola was a mermaid stuck in a human body. She would be facing discrimination and OPPRESSION her entire life.
Under all of her own chaos, she suddenly heard her name being called. WHAT WAS THAT?! A VOICE? A CALL FOR HER? Yearning to be back into the depths of the ocean? Lola immediately wobbled over to the voice with her OH-SO-ELEGANT mermaid-swimming-suit that just screamed for attention and glory.
It had only been the Head Boy. Wait, hold on. She was getting something incredibly shiny. A TROPHY. Oh my. Lola immediately basked with that recognition and wobbled up some more to reclaim her prize. She gasped. Underneath all of this fame.
"Thank you, thank you dahlings!" she said pompously.

Kurumi clapped as awards were handed out. Her attention was completely taken away from the trophies, however, when Queen Flobberworm showed up looking like a mermaid. Eyes widening, Kurumi instantly felt a tinge of jealousy. Why did she get to turn into a mermaid?! Kurumi had been hoping that they would the entire time she had been on the hunt, and especially after finding out that their destination had been the Black Lake and now this beautiful lagoon.
Kurumi edged herself closer to Lola and gawked. "Psst...how did you become a mermaid?!"

So, there was this...awarding thing. Heh. Well...despite the fact that Josh doubted an award given by the BIGHead Bou would be worth having, it at least sounded interesting. And it was his curiosity and the crowd gathering there that made him get attracted to the activity...whatever it was going on there. So, holding Evelyn's hand, he practically tugged her there with himself as well.
Once he believed he was close enough to see what was going on, the Gryffindor stopped and looked at those who had won trophies. Oh. Cool. He would have clapped for them but...well...he was holding his girlfriend's hand and he did not want to let her go. Definitely not.

"Thank you, thank you dahlings!" she said pompously.
Oh for the love of all things Slytherin... Lola was ACTUALLY insane! Iris stared at the girl as she came forwards in a mermaid costume, yelling to the mermaid sisters of hers that she'd made up. Maybe the mermaids weren't a good idea. They'd completely unhinged the girl. Hopefully that wouldn't affect her Seeker skills though... they needed those, desperately.
"Aaaanyway... Moving swiftly on." she said, eyeing the girl. Addressing the students loudly, Iris smiled, "The next few we have to give out, are for the students who found the overall clue at the second location you all went to."
Picking up a trophy, Iris read over it. Oookay. Announcing the Ravenclaw one first, apparently. "This trophy is for the Ravenclaw who solved all of the clues in the Library first. Congrats, Gwendolyn Greene." Iris waited for the girl to come forwards, then handed it to her.
"The Slytherin who used the clues to find the name of the courtyard first is Aurora Stewart-Quinn." Iris eyed the small red-head, wondering if she was okay, still. Maybe the trophy would cheer her up. With a jerk of the head, gesturing her to come forwards, Iris held out Aurora's trophy.
Now... the Hufflepuff winner. There was four of them... Hehe. Greedy badgers. "Now, there are four winners for the Hufflepuff's second task, as it required four of them to work together to find the clue. Those students are: Conan Taylor, Emmaleigh Swynford, Renesmee Dixon and Amy Samson." Iris picked up four trophies, each of which were identical with four names on them.
She waited until those four Badgers had come forward and collected their trophies, before moving onto the Gryffindor winner. "And finally, Ariella Adler was the first to complete the task set to her house." Smiling, Iris picked up the last of her trophies, and handed it to the girl.
Once all of the students had received theirs, Iris grinned and turned to look at Treyen. "Your turn, Treyen." she said, simply.

Leaning against his arm slightly, his warmth making her feel not so cold anymore, she eyed all the people going up to get one of those really weird trophies, and eyed Lola even more than the others. Arriving just in time when the trophy had been given to a Ravenclaw, Louisa smiled widely. She hadn't participated in the hunt but someone from her house got it!
Ignoring the fact that the Ravvie girl was all jumpy and happy with someone else, Louisa walked over to her, "Hey, congratulations. Great job." She didn't really know if it was a competition between classmates within the same house or not. She just felt proud with a trophy in one of her classmate's hand.
And then Aurora's name was said. Quickly, Louisa turned around to see if that was the same Aurora from Diagon Alley. Yep. It was. The same kid got a trophy too! Louisa hadn't talked to her in forever! Well, never after the joke's shop's meeting. She smiled at the younger girl and gave her thumbs-up. Louisa owed her for the... potion.

People getting trophies, weird sea-themed trophies to be exact, for the stuff they did during the hunt. Okay. So that was what was going on there. It was like that as far as he could hear. As far as he could hear , because his eyes were mostly on Evelyn. How could he be looking at some other people getting trophies while he had a sight like his girlfriend next to him? It felt impossible for him to take his eyes away from her anyway.
When she leaned against him, he dropped her hand but wrapped an arm around her waist instead. Then he just kept watching and admiring her beauty. He was still doing the same when she spoke up. Daring him to wear one of those? ''Sure.'' he said not really knowing what she was referring to for he was still staring at her. He was always ready to do whatever she wanted or dared him to do. Yet that smirk, that...dangerous smirk, combined with a bit of curiosity made him glance at what she was actually talking about. And...
Wha?
''No, you don't.'' so he replied. At the sight of that weird swimsuit, normally the idea of wearing it would utterly horrify him however, now, he was just grinning back at his girlfriend as he spoke. ''I don't think it would fit my body anyway. Just...look at it...then me.''

Harper beamed as she heard her name called, along with Sierra and Lola's. She had had no idea that there was a TROPHY involved in all of this! She walked over to Lola from where she had been standing and gazed at the trophy in the girl's hands. "Ooooh, that's prettty..." she couldn't stop smiling. Never before had she EVER gotten an award. THIS WAS COOL. "Nice...suit, Lola," she breathed, taking a moment to appraise her comrade. "It suits you miraculously." This was not a lie.
Aurora shook her head "No... I don't know what that is..." he seemed a little shocked.
Aurora nodded, "Well I'm old enough for second, I'm only in first year because I was homeschooled in Germany so I have to get used to English ways and language - hence the accent." or lack of one, English was her first language, but so was German... and she spoked a little (bad) French and even less Italian, so her accent was a little muddled. "So Mother put me in first year." she shrugged, she was bored of explaining it. "But I'll be in third year next year."
"What's wrong? They're clean now..." she frowned as he removed his outer robes. "They're fine to wear..."
"Oh," Conan frowned. If she didn't know. Then he definitely wasn't going to tell her. She didn't really need to know about religion if she had never heard of it before. It obviously didn't affect her life.
Conan understood now, "Like when I was in High School. I was ahead of my age though. Not behind." Made sense though. Since she was German. "I can't speak German. I speak French, and a little bit of Japanese." He wasn't trying to impress her or anything. But he was American. They spoke Spanish as a second language normally.
He shuddered as his robes dropped to the floor, "They are worse now. They are covered in magic." Worst thing ever! Worse than poop.

Aurora looked up, she'd won? And now she had to go up in front of all those people? She shuffled forwards and collected her trophy, eyes still red, managing a weak smile towards Iris. At least she had something to show for the year... "Thanks." she said, quietly.
To an onlooker she might have just looked like a particularly shy child but for the fact her eyes were red and anyone who'd ever come across her knew that she was anything but shy. She went back to stand with Conan.

"Big house, lots of musical talent, lots of languages, successful children - hopefully I'll be one of them, and a whole lot of old money." she looked down. "I used to think that all that mattered... I guess you gathered that."
Auroras eyebrows climbed even higher. "Do you make your own food as well?" she asked, that could be a lot of effort just because he didn't like magic... "I don't know Treyen... Why don't you like magic?" she asked.
She looked at his trophy, "It's a shame you're not a Slytherin, then even the colours would have matched." She chuckled, if he hated magic he would NOT have fitted in Slytherin.

Okay, so other than her and Orlando, a bunch of other people had won... One who seemed to be wearing what looked like a mermaid costume. o___O What? Shaking her head slightly, she grinned over at the other winners and was content to just stand there with Orlando. Hehe.

Person.
"Erm, thank you. It was actually a team effort between me and Orlando here," Ryden said, surprising even herself with her niceness, and showing the girl both of their names. She'd have introduced herself too, but the trophy already had her name and besides, they'd called it out. Look what a few hours of sun time could do to her! Hogwarts should get more sun. Or she should go out more and look for it herself. But there was winter, like, MOST of the year so whatever.

Conan nodded, he understood that. "My parents have lots of money too. It isn't old though. My dad worked really hard to earn it. Our house is quite big." Well it was bigger than all his high school friends' house. It cost quite a bit more anyway. "I don't think money and all that matters. I think it is all about how you behave. Ya know like, even if you have lots of money, noone is gonna wanna be your friend if you are a horrible person." If that made sense. That was why he was always nice.
He nodded, "Yep. I eat a lot of sandwiches. The halloween dwarves don't let me near the knives though. Cos they are crazy." His face fell when she asked why he didn't like it. "It's not real." That was why. Cos the magic wasn't real. Disney magic was real.

Wha?
''No, you don't.'' so he replied. At the sight of that weird swimsuit, normally the idea of wearing it would utterly horrify him however, now, he was just grinning back at his girlfriend as he spoke. ''I don't think it would fit my body anyway. Just...look at it...then me.''
Sure?
Good Merlin, if she'd known he was distracted when saying that...well, she'd have asked anyways. His answer only caused her smirk to turn a little more mischievous, especially when he realized what the heck he was agreeing to.
No she didn't? What did he know? Of COURSE she did! 'Tis why she dared him in the first place. "I don't mean the exact outfit. Of course it wouldn't fit you." Staring at the others who finally went up to get their trophies, the smirk was still on her face as she glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes. "Tough luck though. You already agreed."

Ryden couldn't help but be a little taken aback, and rather defensive, when the girl addressed Orlando formally. So defensive, in fact, that she felt she needed to say something. "Yes, he was brilliant - he never let me fall, not even once!" she said with a grin and a twinkle in her eye as she squeezed his hand, not even caring that the girl probably wouldn't know what she was talking about. Hehe. See, just because he wasn't a RAVENCLAW, didn't mean that he was all Gryffindor-y ick and above them. Well, sure, he was a Gryffindor technically but he was so much NICER than the other ones.
Honestly. The others were MEAN. "I don't think so... But if they are, I hardly think they're bought. Perhaps they found them in the lagoon?" she proposed, looking at the trophy more closely than before. Her and Orlando's names stood out quite nicely. Mmhmm.

"Great effort, Orlando." Louisa gave the Gryffindor a smirk, great effort as in good job in the hunt and good job in having such a Ravenclaw warrior on your side. BAHAHAHA, Ravenclaw warriors were the best.Uh huh.
"I'm Louisa, by the way.." She said moving closer to Ryden to look at her trophy. Hmm. She should ask for one without the guy's name. Louisa would, even if the name was her best friend or whatever. "..found them in the lagoon?" She repeated absent-mindedly still gazing at the trophy... rather rudely, "Aren't pearls... like.. very precious stones to be given as trophies?" She straightened up and addressed the Ravenclaw.
It is a GOOD thing Ryden isn't a mind reader... XD

. . .
Ryden growled. This girl was half being really nice and half TAKING ALL HER GOOD MOOD AWAY. Why was she so annoyed with Koala Boy? What had he ever DONE to her? The odd smile didn't fool the fourth year brunette. Nope. "Oh, save it. You couldn't sound LESS sincere even if you said you loved him," Ryden said with an eyeroll and felt her hand tighten on the trophy.
Good thing both her hands were occupied at the moment.
HMPF. Louisa. "Ryden. Clearly," was all she said, with a raised eyebrow. If she could have folded her hands and stalked off, she would have, but trouble was she didn't really want to leave. She'd just WON. The brunette wanted to bask in that with Orlando for a bit. Instead, she just shrugged. "I don't know, and I don't particularly care. If you want pearls that badly I'll give you some, ok?" she said, retracting her hand so that this Louisa person wouldn't be able to take her trophy.
... She wasn't putting it past her. And it was true, Ryden COULD give her pearls. She had a necklace made of them that looked horridly like something Aunt Lea would wear and Ryden was NOT an Aunt Lea kind of person. Now, if she had a shark-tooth necklace, or even better, an orca-tooth necklace, then THAT would be so much cooler.

Okay.
Something was wrong.
In fact, something was right! Of all other Ravenclaws, Louisa hadn't met someone this impolite and defensive except for Enya... who was also a bully rather rude girl... and who happened to be her best friend. This Ryden was so growing on Louisa. *nodnod*
The thirteen year old sighed, "What do you want me to do? I wanted to congratulate you.." my housemate but found an outer sharing your trophy.. ".. and you're just acting so weird," Shifting her eyes at the older lion she made an apologetic smile, "Sorry if I offended you." Not really, but Louisa wasn't one to argue with someone who'd just won something.
She wasn't that annoying.
Want pearls that badly? The young eagle frooooowned and stared down at her feet, "I don't want pearls. That wasn't what I meant," Clearly this Ryden got into Ravenclaw because it was the only vacant house, hmph. She had NO curiosity in her! "I was just wondering," Glancing once more at the girl's trophy she acknowledged the tight hold of this girl.
:O Did she think Louisa might snatch the trophy from her? That's it! She flipped her hair off her shoulder and took a step back, "You don't have to hug your trophy. I'm leaving." BUT I'LL HUNT YOUR DREAMS. Grr.

See, now this was just weird. "You DID congratulate me, and I thanked you. But then you went all weird on the person who shared my win, and you had no need to do that. ALSO, I am not weird. Don't call me weird, okay, shrimp?" Ryden replied, making a face at Louisa after she'd finished talking. Sure, it was rich for HER to call someone a shrimp giving her own size, but this girl was clearly YOUNGER and therefore less intelligent.
YUP.
As the girl apologised to Orlando, Ryden nodded with satisfaction. There's a good girl. SEE? Ravenclaws were sensible people. "Geez, okay, you don't want pearls, no need to freak out," the brunette said, staring slightly at the girl. Ravenclaws WERE sensible, but this one was odd. "I'm not HUGGING my trophy.. And fine, do what you want, I don't care," Ryden spat out and shrugged.
This Louisa person was SO lucky she didn't have her hands free. One more wrong word and she would have found out why Koala Boy calls her Fist Girl. HMPF.

What was that feeling? Lola felt like she was being eyed, like the innocent and vulnerable mermaid she was. SHE FELT IT. She felt the mermaid discrimination swimming across the crowd and at this very moment, she felt the need to protect herself and her sisters from this certain right of prejudice. No one ought to stare for she was a mermaid--a Selkie, a beautiful Selkie lost in the midst of these AWFULLY rude humans and so, she twirled her tail like the angelic she-fish that she truly was.
Evelyn was staring. SMIRKING actually. Lola Jones was not sea food. Or perhaps she was merely JEALOUS of her tale, her fins, those beautiful gills.
Then there was Kurumi, who was just gawking at her, and although she so much enjoyed the attention she was getting--THIS--THIS WAS WRONG. Her MASTER EVEN! "MASTER! Forgive me! I am not worthy to be gawked at! Not worthy, nay NAAAY!" She bowed her head apologetically. "How did I become a mermaid?" Did Kurumi want her to spill her secrets? The BLAZING fire locked inside her heart? Lola was a mermaid/House-elf and again, she was simply not worthy to stand in this girl's presence who saved Queen Flobberworm from dying.
"Master... please... must I..." She croaked and realized that she herself was REBELLING AGAINST MASTER KURUMI'S ORDERS. Oh the SHAME. To compensate, Lola immediately knelt down to the ground and refusing to make eye contact. She breathed. "My dangerous quest into becoming a Selkie was RATHER dangerous, and I strongly advice you NOT to undergo the heavy process, Master! But there I was, in the Dungeons where, upon a table, my eyes lay upon these cookies--ALAS, they were not regular cookies, Master!" Lola took a glance at Iris, that Head Girl who just left those fish cookies up for adoption... tututut... "These cookies--they were in the shape of fishies! I rightfully claimed them as my babies and I was their mother and and and... my fish babies," she immediately reached into her pockets and retrieved her babies, "This one's Simon. Then there's Paula. Then of course, Randy. Oh, look, there's Debbie #2 and Kermit and oh my MARGARET, there you are!"
Lola forgot about Cynthia and Greg. CYNTHIA AND GREG. Rest in peace. She eyed Kurumi from her kneeling position and then continued, "So then we went all the way to the Fountain--WHERE I HAD TO SACRIFICE MY MERMAID TOKENS--but Sierra says they're all safe in their mermaid haven now and I believe that was almost the last part of the ritual... ALMOST!" Her hands were high in the air now, wondering if the girl was comprehending. She probably was. "No, the last part of the mermaid ritual was to go to the Lagoon and simply BELIEVE that you were a mermaid and I was way about that," she breathed, "But here I come, and this Lagoon's ABANDONED! Now, I'm continuing to continue my quest to find my sisters, Moon Shine and Sparkle Bow in the deep waters. I've already found my father's trident laying on the shore..."
Lola immediately started to sob at her Master's feet.
