The classroom looked a mess. But that was exactly how Isabelle wanted it. Rubbish was the whole point of this lesson today, and plenty of it was spread all over the room. Several bags were placed along the floor in front of her desk, filled with bits of newspaper, card boxes, plastic bottles - everything except the yucky food stuffs you'd find in a bin. And the rest was covering the children's desks and seats. Hehe.
Fiddling with the pile of plastic carrier bags on her desk, Issy piled them as neatly as they would go. That was for later. Clearing her throat, she walked around the back of her desk and slipped into her seat. Flicking her wand to unlock the door, she folded her fingers together and waited for the kids to arrive.
OOC: I'll be starting the lesson around 6pm GMT, so for now you can just post your character entering. Please don't chat too much though, Isabelle is in the room.

Emily listened intently as the Professor addressed the class. Quickly she jotted down some notes on her parchment before she took up her wand again... her rubiks cube lay on her desk... the puzzle was solved and all the colours were sorted on each side.
Grabbing the coaster she had tansfigured from a piece of cardboard Emily took up her wand and prepared herself to reverse the spell.
She tapped the coaster with her wand twice whilst saying "Balterius"
Nothing happened.... so she tried again.
*tap tap* "Balterius"
Emily blinked... and in that time the coaster had reverted back to its original.. very plain... very scrappy form.
She kept practicing, transfiguring the cardboard into a shiny new tin whistle. "HHHhhmm", she mummbled as she looked it over. Emily wasn't the instrumental type so she reversed it. "Balterius".
And continued practicing. At one point she had transfigured it into a bright blue coloured quill. She liked it, and it seemed fitting as she was a ravenclaw, so she placed it in her bag. It matched her new notebook. Emily grabbed another piece of rubbish... and continued.

Luin looked up as the professor clapped, and then took down notes on the reversion spell. She then looked at her desk, she had some interesting objects from the first spell there and was thinking about which ones she would be interested in reversing. She picked out her first plastic cup and practiced the spell a few times, "Balterius!" tap, tap, the cup turned back into a bag. She smiled, and then started on a few more object, she felt like she had the concentration for this down now, it wasn't too bad of a spell.
"Yes, Professor Magnus. I'll do that straightaway." He removed the sheath and athame from around his belt and turned to his black bag and sid them intto the openslit into his
bag. "Professor? have to ever come across a student in first year transfigure something like that out of garbage?"
Benjamin wante to keep what he had, so he trannsfigured two more items, same result, and without a beat, he came to the athame stuck in his desk and tapped it twice and said, "Balterius". the athame turned all of it into a pair of multi colored earrings. Benjamin looked at them a little wierd and just shrugged. He pulled
the sheath over, and tapped it twice and said the incantation and it turned into the ugliest necklace he'd ever seen. hekept the earrings, but threw thenecklace away.

Ah well. Destiny didn't like the beach anyway. That annoying feeling of sand under her feet and when there are those little pieces of seashells laying around and she steps on them. Or how when she went swimming in the water with Grandmum Tole and the woman holds onto her like she is some type of buoy that can hold her up.
Stupid oceans.
But, enough about that, Destiny was ready to LEARN!
Unholstering her wand, she placed on her desk as the Professor placed an empty bottle on her desk and a chocolate frog wrapper. Well PFFFT! Way to tease us, Professor Magnus.
Frowning, she moved her finger in the snazzy wand movement used for casting the spell as she pronounced the spell itself. "Co-vah-dium. Co-vah-dium."Swish to the left and tap, swish to the left and tap!
Quite satisfied at her pronunciation skills, she picked up her wand and her bottle.
They probably should have used gloves before touching this trash. Merlin knows who it belonged to, but some of the stuff looked oddly familiar. Mostly the chocolate frog wrappers..hehe.
Grinning as she tapped her bottle against Patroclus', she felt her face heat up at his comment and she had to turn away from him. It was probably not a good idea to sit next to him. He was distracting her!
Ahem.
Clearing her throat, she concentrated on Patroclus transfiguring the bottle into a cup. A cup. A normal, CLEAN cup. "Covadium." she said, swishing her wand to the left and then giving the bottle a tap. She wasn't surprised when the plastic bottle was no more, but she was surprised at what now sat on her desk. Sure, it was a cup but..
Pushing the cup as far away from her as she could, she hoped Patroclus did not see it and she moved the chocolate frog box closer to herself. No distractions this time. She was fully focused on the EMPTY frog box.
Clearing her throat once more, she moved her wand in the snazzy swish to the left and tap movement, while concentrating on transfiguring the box into a bowl. A bowl that would hold MANY chocolate frogs inside. "Covadium!"
Still shimming in his seat with his maracas, Patroclus turned to the Snake next to him, and watched on as the always lovely, beautiful and hilariously funny Destiny started to work on her bottle and box.
As she finished her wand movement, Patroclus’ eyes zoomed in on the object that now sat where the bottle had been…..it was a Heart Shaped Cup!
His face instantly flooded with red, his cheeks so hot, he felt like they could melt the ice that blanketed the grounds. Then came the second object, another Heart!
The boy’s face remained red, but it also had a slight smirk to it too.

Well now - there appeared to be alot of flirting going on. At east that's what Isabelle saw it as. First Patroclus and Destiny with their bottles and heart shaped things, then Jake and Neptune and their...robe sharing. So far nothing she would have to warn them over, and as long as they were concentrating on practise she would let it slide. For now. But she'd be keeping an eye on them.
....An eye that was now distracted by bright, and loud, maracas. "Very nice, Patroclus. A musical person are you? Perhaps you can make something else and we can form a band later in the lesson." That would actually be kinda fun. And when Kurumi joined in by making bongo's well... "It would appear we're half way there already." Issy let out a chuckle.
Having kept an eye on the duo from a distance, Isabelle now moved over to where Jake and Neptune were sitting. They were an interesting pair, and she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the attire Miss Bott was wearing. "Neptune, dear..." Issy started, standing by the side of the girl's desk. "You should know that all the plastics, and cans, were cleaned before I placed them in here. And the papers are ones I have collected for the sole purpose of use in this lesson. You're not going to catch anything by sitting among it." Although she seemed to be getting on with her work alright, if the apron and vase were anything to go by.
But then her attention was suddenly taken by Jake and something that sprang up right in front of her face. "Ohh my!" Flailing arms slightly, Issy stepped back so her nose wasn't completely touching it. She hadn't realised the boy had cast the spell, and was now dumbstruck to be looking at....an inflatable palm tree?

"Still thinking about an island, were we, Jake?" she laughed, moving it to the side and looking around at him. "Maybe Kurumi and Patroclus could use it as a backdrop for the band they've got going on over there." That was a helpful suggestion, right? Their instruments did have an exotic feel to them.
Smoothing out her robes, Issy eyed the couple once more before moving over to where Destiny and Evelyn were. Heart shaped things, eh? Sticking her tongue in the side of her cheek, Isabelle smirked at the redness on the Slytherin's face, and her obvious annoyance at getting these items. "Perhaps you are distracted by something, Destiny," she offered. Giving her a wink, she moved towards the front of class.
Spying a cookie cutter, welcome mat and several other lovely things, Isabelle smiled. "You're all doing so well. Some of the things you have created are very imaginative." Yes, I'm looking at you, maracas boy. "We'll move onto the reversion spell soon, if you wish to revert anything you've changed that is. You are more than welcome to keep what you want, and try the spell on something you don't. But for now, I'll let you keep practising as you are."
OOC: We'll go onto the next one later, but for now, HAVE FUN! And form that band if you want to, Isabelle won't mind much. Just remember that classroom, and SS, rules apply at all times.

Listening to her words, Patroclus realised the drumming noise was not his heart beating fast due o the closeness of a certain someone, but in fact it was Kurumi!
Wooo the distraction continued, “Way to Go Kurumi!” their little band had promise but it needed more, then da da daaaaaa Salander came alone with his ukulele, “Sweet!” Patroclus grinned at his He-Snake friend!
However they need more, perhaps maybe some voices…..

Not even practicing the spell, Patroclus grabbed his wand, tapped the Hear Microphone twice and said, “Balterius”
It was a box once more, so Patroclus thought it would be okay to try Covadium again, “Covadium!”

"Now watch closely... you need to do a swish to the left, then gently tap the item, while saying the spell...Co- vah- dium" Isabelle did just that, saying the spell and completing the wand movement. With a little poof her bottle became a fancy carved plastic glass, ready for her to put her firewhiskey into. Although not in class.
Beaming, she looked up at them. "First please recite the spell on it's own, then practice the wand movement without the spell, then by all means try everything together. Just be careful. And concentrate hard. I have more bottles and boxes for you to use for now as well, until we move onto the reversion spell, so just come get another to keep practising."
OOC: I'll be going to bed soon, which is why I've speeded it up a bit. xD Just make sure your charrie doesn't go overboard with anything. Isabelle is still watching!
Nika looked at the bottle and the box. What could she transfigure these into anyways? Nika thought for a good amount of time and decided that she would use the bottle. A mug. She had decided to make it into a mug that she would use for more hot chocolate!!!! "Co-vah-dium. Co-Vaah-dium. covadium. covadium." she practiced saying it in her head a few times. She then said it out loud pointing her wand and making the correct movement. and tadahh! For the first time Nika was able to get the spell to work on her first try.

Nika took the newly made mug and placed it in front of her. She took a deep breath and imagined the bottle which it was originally. okay Nika you can do this. She practiced moving her wand up and down and tapping it on the mug. "okay. Now to say the spell." She held her wand in front of her and concentrated. "Balterius!" she said confidently and before she new it the mug was back to the original bottle!
Wait, we have to turn it back??? Jaina thought. She thought for a moment and got some more trash. The items she made for her friends were too nice to turn back...no chance she could think of it again!
She picked up some more trash and began to transform it into whatever else she could think of. "Covadium!" *swish to the left and tap* she transformed a Bertie Botts packet into a ring. "Balterius!" and it went back to a Bertie Botts packet....well, that's cool, but she wanted to make something nice for the Professor....such a nice teacher! "Covadium!" *swish to the left and flick* and it was a small earring box. Hmmm....maybe she could make it a little more extravagant for the nice professor!
Elle got some more scraps. She sat down on her seat, and performed the spell again.
"Covadium!" As she was flicking her wrist, the redhead was caught off guard and noticed how her fellow classmates were doing. They were great! Suddenly, a small explosion happened. She snapped back to reality and realized that the explosion was hers.
"Oops." The once plastic bottle became a charred piece of junk. Man... how careless could she get?
"Okay, can something like this still be turned into a beautiful material of use?" She asked herself.
"Let's just try..." Once again, Elle performed the spell and what came out was a crumpled piece of cloth. Wow.

Satisfied with his first attempt at the spell, Simon decided to work it out again on the bottle he had been given as well. "Covadium!" he cast once more after the required swish to the left and tap on the glass bottle. When he was finished, he had a beautiful two-toned glass instead of the empty bottle and even he was surprised by how it had turned out for it certainly what he hadn't had in mind when he invisioned the outcome as he worked the spell.
When Professor Magnus moved onto the second part of the class, the reversion of the spell, Simon was hard-pressed to pick which of the two items to revert back to its original form. Of course he would have the option to try again but there was no guarentee it would turn out the same way. The quidditch captain looked between the two transfigured items as he debated finally choosing the first since it was simplier.
"Balterius" he cast on the cookie cutter, the metal returning to the pentagonal box by the second attempt. Out of curiousity, he invisioned the star item again and repeated the earlier swish and tap before the incantation and smiled as the cookie cutter returned.
Selina listened to the Professor speak. When she said that they would be reverting their objects back inti rubbish her face fell? Why did she want to revert back all of her hard work. But then the teacher answers answered that. They would revert them back later. So Selina drew her wand and said, "Balterius!" thrice.
Slowly all of her musical appliances verted back into the paper bags. She looked sadly at the rubbish. Now she had a better appreciation for junk. One man's junk was another man's treasure.
Kyle tapped the large gummy bear rug and tapping once, twice she said "Balterius" it changed back into a large cardboard box. Sighing she smiled to herself. Then tapping the tweezers twice she transfigured them back into the scrap plastic it had been originally.
"Covadium" she spoke one with a swish to the left, and a tap to the top of the cardboard box she created something she'd loved her whole life. An electric-acoustic guitar that was, truly wonderous. a beautiful guitar, smiling she put it in front of her and rubbed her hand on it. Again she taped, taped, "Balterius" it became the box again. She repeated this in the corner of the room, while listening in order to master the spell.

Now they get to reverse it. Good. He's never had any issues with that, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

His eyes were on Magnus as she reverted the glass into the bottle. Two taps. Okay. He could soooo do that. And without further ado Treyen took his wand and tapped the newspaper!cushion twice, "Balterius!" only to find the same newspaper!cushion in there.
Sigh.
He...didn't like this.
But, he was clearing his mind again, and focusing, yet again. "Balterius!" he said, with as much confidence as possible, and tapped the thing two times as he did.
No cushion. But newspapers intead.
Smile. No grin, because he wasn't successful the first time, so, just a smile.

When professor Magnus finished speaking, Helena looked at her broken watch and the fancy looking quill. She wanted to keep the quill, so she'll practice the reversion spell on the watch. It was a good thing that the wand movement was simple. She tapped it twice, gently, then said "Balterius." Welcome back, plastic bottle.
She scanned the bottle for a moment, then decided to turn it into something else.
Swish-to-the-left-and-gentle-tap, "Covadium." Hello, brand new green scarf! "Pretty," Helena whispered, examining it.

Sierra made a slight face when the professor suggested some of the students play their instruments at the end of class. The whole idea sounded annoyingly pleasant, and she hoped they had the option to leave before it all got underway.
Suddenly, she knew exactly what her nightmare detention would be like--her...in a room full of Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs...listening to the Lions and Badgers play instruments for hours on end. She'd go mental before the night was over!
She shook off the thought and placed her newly-transfigured monkey pen on her desk. She was ready to revert it, even it did have to go back to being just an empty chocolate frog box. It was useless to her, as she tended to be partial to quills.
With a tap, tap of her wand, Sierra, said, "Balterius!" She eyed the empty chocolate frog box. Maybe if she transfigured it again, she'd get a quill this time...

Belle started practicing the wrist movements for the spell. She did a swish to the left, then gently tapped, while saying the spell...Co- vah- dium. She got another piece of garbage and it was a box of sugar quills. "Hmm now how will i tranform this.." she thought. Poor Belle! Jaina looked over at Belle and said,"You must really like those earrings! That's your problem. I made you a pair though...see!" Jaina was very proud of all her presents for her friends! "So now you can turn those back!" she giggled. She hoped it helped her!
"Yes, Professor Magnus. I'll do that straightaway." He removed the sheath and athame from around his belt and turned to his black bag and sid them intto the openslit into his
bag. "Professor? have to ever come across a student in first year transfigure something like that out of garbage?"
Benjamin wante to keep what he had, so he trannsfigured two more items, same result, and without a beat, he came to the athame stuck in his desk and tapped it twice and said, "Balterius". the athame turned all of it into a pair of multi colored earrings. Benjamin looked at them a little wierd and just shrugged. He pulled
the sheath over, and tapped it twice and said the incantation and it turned into the ugliest necklace he'd ever seen. hekept the earrings, but threw thenecklace away.
"Thank you," Isabelle smiled, watching carefully as the boy put the things away....Only to transfigure more of them a few minutes later. "Mister Trevors, please. No more knives. Concentrate on something that isn't dangerous. Any more and I shall have to take them away from you." A stern tone to her voice went throughout the words. She didn't want the kids to think that transfiguring something like that was acceptable.
And as for his question: "I don't believe I have, so your powers of concentration must be immense. Just put it to safer use, eh?"As in now. A warning look followed, before Issy continued her walk around the room.

As if she could read Patroclus’ mind Professor Magnus, she began to instruct the class on the way in which they could revert their object back into trash.
Not even practicing the spell, Patroclus grabbed his wand, tapped the Hear Microphone twice and said, “Balterius”
It was a box once more, so Patroclus thought it would be okay to try Covadium again, “Covadium!”
"Don't we all, Patroclus. Don't we all." A glint sparkled in Isabelle's eye as she grinned at the Gryffindor. She was always of the opinion that you learnt better when you had fun with things, and that seemed to be the case so far this lesson. Issy was even tempted to join in herself, but maybe that might have been a bit too much.
Watching him attempt the spell again, she was amused to see another heart shaped item - and the redness on the boy's face. What was it with these kids? "You and Destiny seem to be thinking along the same lines, with shapes..." Mmhmmm, she'd noticed, kiddies.

Having kept an eye on the duo from a distance, Isabelle now moved over to where Jake and Neptune were sitting. They were an interesting pair, and she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the attire Miss Bott was wearing. "Neptune, dear..." Issy started, standing by the side of the girl's desk. "You should know that all the plastics, and cans, were cleaned before I placed them in here. And the papers are ones I have collected for the sole purpose of use in this lesson. You're not going to catch anything by sitting among it." Although she seemed to be getting on with her work alright, if the apron and vase were anything to go by.
But then her attention was suddenly taken by Jake and something that sprang up right in front of her face. "Ohh my!" Flailing arms slightly, Issy stepped back so her nose wasn't completely touching it. She hadn't realised the boy had cast the spell, and was now dumbstruck to be looking at....an inflatable palm tree?

"Still thinking about an island, were we, Jake?" she laughed, moving it to the side and looking around at him. "Maybe Kurumi and Patroclus could use it as a backdrop for the band they've got going on over there." That was a helpful suggestion, right? Their instruments did have an exotic feel to them.
Jake held back a smile when Magnus spoke to Neptune, because... well... assuring Neptune that the trash she was sitting it wasn't dirty...
Well, Jake wouldn't be up to that job.
"Uhhh... maybe?" Jake chuckled slightly. He LIKED that palm tree. "That'll brighten up the house a treat," he smirked.
Aka, NO! MY PALM TREE! *HISSSSSSSSSSSSS*
"Professor... do we have to turn them back?" Because he had one he didn't mind turning back but... it was lost already. And the happy surprise of the palm tree, nor the fake rose for Neptune was NOT being turned back to rubbish.

He kept boppin his head as he looked at the rest of The Band-- Patroclus then Kurumi "I can... play." he grinned slyly. Well strummin was playing right? Even if he's never plucked a chord in his life.

He stopped his strummin when Professor Magnus gave further instructions. Not really wanting to revert his ukelele he set it aside and picked up another piece of trash-- a pizza box. With another quick flick of his wrist he uttered "Covadium!" The box spun dizzily in place until he slowed down to reveal-- a pizza tray.
He tilted his head. Not bad, would've been better if there was something in it. He then tapped the tray twice and uttered "Balterius!" The tray spun again and reverted back to the pizza box that it was before.

"Awww!! Thanks Jania!" she exclaimed. "This is a really nice gift!, i love you so much." she gave her a huge hug. She now concentrated on turning back those earrings..she concentrated on turining it back into a water bottle. "Balterius!" she said with two taps and it tranformed back! Ok so they got to take their new awesome things and make them all...trashy again? What was the use of that spell? Riley could never really think of an istance when he would use it but oh well.
He layed his shiny new spoon on his desk top and tapped it twice and said the spell, "Balterius!" the spoon became a dingy old tin can again. After waiting a few seconds the Gryffindor pictured what he had changed it into originally and swished and tapped the can with his wand again. "Covadium." And it was in spoon-form again.
Jaina giggled with excitement and handed over the earrings to her friend. "I absolutely love this class!!" This was the most fun ever! Kurumi set the card down on her desk and decided that it would be her sort of good luck charm - at least for now. She would have preferred that the card be someone like Sirius Black, but she heard that his card was rather rare these days.
Tapping her bongos a bit more, Kurumi frowned when she heard it was time to practice turning them back. She supposed that she could just turn them back into bongos once she had mastered the new spell though.
Now setting the bongos on the table, Kurumi took out her wand again and *tap tap* “Balterius!” and the bongos began to melt and change for back into the plastic bottle…that was now flattened. It looked like someone had run over the plastic bottle with their car and then kicked it against the wall several times. Oops…Maybe if she turned them back into bongos all would be well? “Covadium!” she commanded repeating the wand movement. The plastic bottle once again began to glow and divide…but not into the pretty bongos she had made earlier. Nope, now then looks like some bongos also run over by a car and kicked around the block more than a few times.
So much for the band. “Um, Professor?” Kuurmi asked raising her hand. “Would Reverto fix the mess I have made?” If not, well, then she had doubled her trash. Sad.

At least Patroclus was there to distract her momentarily from the mess she had made. Shoving the bongos behind her so they were hidden from view, Kurumi turned to the Gryffindor Prefect. “T-T-Thanks,” she blushed hoping that she could figure out how to get her bongos back.

Kurumi blushed. Her and Salander had more in common than she thought! Sure, they had talked a bit about their families and life stories, and there were similarities, but now she knew that they shared the gift of music. “That’s excellent!” she chirped still trying to hide her now partly melted bongos.
At least she still had her soap and soap container?

"See! I knew you could do it!" Jaina said wth more excitement. "Nah, just thinking she deserves this since the last class we had, Ben and I got into a spat," she whispered and winked at Belle. Jaina remembered it fondly...how she had plotted to hex him and throw him into a cage. She giggled a bit to herself and looked over to Ben and smiled. He was also in the middle of a problem that was their secret, too. It was that night that they had met and been unseparable since. She started to drift from the lesson and watch Ben working across the room with a happy smile on her face.
