Fallon was in the entrance hall. She was looking at the hourglasses for some strange reason. It really wasn't that far into term and the points were still pretty close and could go anywhere. After all, there was almost a whole term left.

Fallon let out a sigh and looked around the Entrance Hall. She didn't see anyone she knew, which wasn't really shocking. Hogwarts was huge and they could be anywhere right now. She was really bored though.

Simon walked in silence and yawned. Man was he sleepy. It wasn't that he was tired, just bored. He had just eaten a chocolate frog and was now looking for somewhere to take a nap or someone to talk to. He didn't know much people, but it'd be awesome if he met more.

As he kept walking he spotted a lonely girl. The boy debated on whether to talk to her or not. Eh, what they hey. "Hi." he said as he approached her. Yeah, he wasn't the best at meeting new people.

Fallon looked at the younger student, who really wasn't that much shorter than her. She didn't like being short sometimes. He seemed nice and she was bored...

"Hello." She hadn't really met many new people in a while. What should she say..."So what brings you to the entrance hall on this fine October day?" Yeah she sounded weird. Better let the kid know that now. She also noticed that he looked somewhat familiar. Maybe she saw him in the common room...

Eh, she looked nice and pretty.

What did bring him here? Oh yeah, "Well, I kinda got lost and ended up here." he smiled. Really, he walks down one hall and ends up somewhere he's never been before, crazy school.

Where were his manners, pssh. "Oh, I'm Simon," he said extending his hand out, "Simon Macalister." he will never get tired of saying his name.

Fallon listened to why the kid was there. He was definitely younger than her. She felt kind of bad that he was lost. "Well...the entrance hall is easy to get out of. Especially since it's right by the Great Hall and the doors to the grounds." It really was the best place to be lost at.

Fallon smiled, glad that the younger student had manners. "I'm Fallon McCarthy." Simon Macalister. That name sounds familiar. Then it hit her. He was her serpent sidekick thing that Professor Lafay had set up. It was a pretty cool idea. "It's nice to meet you Simon."

Simon nodded, "Got it." he would definitely keep that in mind since he's been getting lost almost every day, but he didn't mind it, he actually liked it because he ended up in places he hadn't been before.

"Nice to meet yah too, Fallon." Simon grinned. "So what are you doing here all alone?" he asked curiously. Most of the people he's seen around always had a buddy with them.

Elyon skipped into the Entrance Hall. She wasn't exactly sure why she was there, but she was. Pulling a book out of her bag, she sat down on the floor, up against the wall, reading to her heart's desire. It was quiet here, no one would disturb her. No one ever spoke directly to her, she only had one friend, and they never found time to speak anymore, but people around her were often rather noisy. She was glad to be in the silence. Her legs felt cool on the marble floor, which felt good after she'd been in the hot sun outside for a little while.

Fallon was glad the boy seemed to get what she was saying."If you ever need help getting around, come down to the dungeons and ask for me. Someone from Slytherin should know where I'm at." She knew a lot of house mates and knew that Simon could find her really easily if he tried.

Fallon shrugged her shoulders. "I just came to look at the hourglasses for some strange reason. I was just gonna hang out here and draw or something probably." She did have her stuff in her bag.

Adam was making his way down the stairs, into the Great Hall he was abnormally this hungry.Taking one step he tripped and rolled down, his head smacking the marble and his arms falling all over the place. He landed on the ground in front of Elyon who just wanted to read.

Elyon felt something hit her legs and an 'Oof.' She looked up at the older boy laying on the floor. What was he doing there? It was an odd place to be. The middle of the floor in the Entrance Hall could be relaxing, but she'd never know until she tried it. She made a note to do that one day. She smiled brightly at him, bookmarking her page. "Hello Adam! How're you today?"

Adam clutched his knee as he writhed in pain, rolling on his half side of his body.He whinned but he had reason to,"I just fell down a FLIGHT of STAIRS! How do you think I feel...OH OH OUUUUUCCCCHHHHH!~!!!!~~~~~ Me no likie pain."Adam screamed in agony as he rolled around in spot some more.

Elyon tilted her head. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you're in pain. Mum pushes me down the stairs sometimes, it's not a very pleasant feeling, is it? The day my hair turned a light shade of blue was a nightmare in my home. Though I thought it was pretty, sky blue is my favourite colour." She realized she was beginning to ramble and looked back at Adam. "I've read about healing spells before, but I don't know how well I could perform them. Would you like me to help you to the hospital wing? I'm sure the nurse would be able to heal you in no time." She smiled happily at him again, oblivious to his annoyance.

"Yes. Lots of pain."He continued as he tried to breathe.
"I'm sorry to hear that, maybe another day you can explain why. A bit painful yes it is."Adam said still holding his legs.
"Even I can't do spells well, just help me to the Hospital Wing."Adam added in a rush. He took her shoulder and kinda stood up so that his weight was dragging beneath her.

Elyon smiled cheerfully at the wincing boy. "Okay! Up you go!" She felt his weight fall on her and found it caused them to be a bit slow. It felt so strange not skipping through the halls. Pushing her long, sandy braids behind her shoulder, she turned to Adam. "What's your favourite kind of candy? I like those chocolate frogs. They're so extraordinary and tasty!" She liked asking strange questions. She always found the answers quite interesting. Plus Adam looked like he could use a bit of cheer to lighten his pain.

Alice nodded at Lexi's reassurances. "Yeah...I suppose it'll work itself out in a little bit."

Alice's eyebrows furrowed and her lips frowned when Lexi said she was struggling with her classes. "I am sure everyone in their fifth year is struggling right now," Alice said with a gentle smile. "And you're a hard working and intelligent witch, so I am sure you will be able to work it out." Alice noted the slight sense of disappointment at the fact that things seemed to be getting better. "I know I'm having my own problems Lexi, but if you need someone to talk to or want to talk about something, I am here."

"Silly? Well...I guess you DO 'ave a point. But oh well," he said shrugging and now taking off his shirt to put with the tie in his hand. He felt SO uncomfortable taking his clothing but at least he wasn't made to do it with nothing underneath his uniform. That was...odd, Leo actually looked SERIOUS. Strangeeee. Chandler raised an eyebrow at him. Oui I iz and can you just stop saying it zo we can actually do what we're meant to?" Chandler just didn't want to stand here and talk about his silliness right now because they had MUCH better things to do at the moment. "As long as you don't waste it." He nodded, see, he had a point! SNOOOOORTT. Typical Leo. Heh.

Chandler folded his arms and now raised both of his eyebrows, giving the boy who had previously flailed a questioning look. And now Leo looked serious too, but out of the two Chandler would be the best at looking serious. He was ALWAYS serious and half of the time the complete opposite of his best friend. Good, at least he wasn't going to tell him HOW to not ruin the vibe. Chandler actually thought it would be helpful...too late now. "She got zat at...a toy store?" But toy stores were so...KID LIKE! And he was nearly fifteen, well fifteen in March that was, still near! Chandler didn't like toy stores either, they were filled with little kiddy toys. "Maybe she should." HINT HINT. Because by the look on his face it SHOWED that he wanted one. He also wanted a police uniform and then he could be PC Montague, arresting people and stuff. :3

FINALLY! They were actually IN Hogwarts. Took them long enough.

SNORT. Leo found this so amusing, he really did. His friend was in the middle of school taking his CLOTHES off. Okay,he was wearing something undearneath so it wasn't THAT funny. Leo was easily amused though, easily amused like a KIDDIE. In fact, Leopold Gordon O'Donald was LIKE a little kiddie. Stop talking? OH YES. Leopold let out a cough, realizing he should INDEED shut up. "Right, sorry."IT WAS SPY TIME NOW! In a matter of seconds, Leo whipped out the water gun off his belt and looked around the entrance hall. The place was.....very dull and quiet and not FUN. He was TEMPTED to make it more fun by skipping and singing but he THEN remembered he had to be a big boy spy. Big boy spies didn't skip and sing....especially not in public.

SNORT. Skipping another time them..

Holding his guy up with a serious look, Leopold licked his lips. He was walking all slow making sure NO ONE was in the Entrance Hall cause if there WAS anyone that was here they would be undetected. THIS would result in getting shot in the face with a water gun, enough said. Wait, HOLD UP, was he questioning his plastic walkie talkie?! OH HECK NO. And was he dissing the TOY store?!



HE GLARED. HE FLAT OUT GLARED AT THE OTHER BOY."My mom buys ALL my spy gear at the TOY STORE!!"He yelled and stomped. THETOY STORE WAS COOL DANG IT.....

Oh crap, WHAT IF THE BAD PEOPLE FIGURED OUT WHERE HE GOT HIS SPY GEAR AT !? OH NO HE WAS IN TROUBLE...A nervous look spread on Leopold's face as he looked around a corner. "I HOPE YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT BAD SPIES!!!"....that is, if there were any bad spies aroud. Looking back at his friend he whispered franctically."I DON'T THINK THEY HEARD ME...WE GOTTA KEEP IT ON THE DOWN LOW THOUGH..."

YES.YES.

And now FRENCH!fry was asking for equipment. "NO. You like...go to a grown up store or something..."

Marie sat on the stairs in the Entrance Hall trying to warm up a bit. Not bothering to pay attention to the weather she had went out for a morning walk without putting on a sweatshirt or something a bit warmer than the jeans and a t-shirt she was wearing. She wasn't ready for it to be cold yet, she wanted it to stay warm all year round. Then again, being cold did have it's advantages... when Jimmy was around.

Hmm, where was that boy when she needed him?

Lexi smiled Alice brightly and then dropped her head a bit in embarassment. "Thank you so much for the encouragment. You have no idea how much that means to me. Hardly no one tells me I am talented. Like ever. It will all work itself out though. Fifth year is tough for everyone I think. So much riding on our success and all that," she said in a low tone of voice.

Looking back up at the girl she gave a little shrug and sighed slightly. "Nothing that a little hard work won't fix, ya know," she said with a wink before shifting her gaze out the doors.

Cedric trotted toward the Entrance Hall in brisk paces. He had just come from the Abraxan Stables and he was a bit tired to begin with. But his visit from the said place had been rather joyful so here he was: all twinkly eyes and gleaming smile. He decided to go back to their common room so as to rest and talk with his housemates at the same time. Well he guessed they could really use an advice these days. But as he was about to trudge up the stairs in the Entrance Hall, a girl who was sat on the stairs caught his attention. She looked familiar. Vaguely familiar. And she looked sort of sad, too. Before his housemates could use an advice, perhaps this girl could use a companion first?

"Hey," Cedric simply greeted, coming to a halt at once. His muddy brown eyes now fixed upon the girl, he tried to remember when and where he'd seen the girl before. He'd seen her everywhere at various times and places. What could one expect? They were in the same school. He must have shared classes with her.

Marie was starting to warm up and thinking about heading down to her dorm room. She had homework she needed to get done not to mention she needed to study some more for owls. With as fast as this term was going, exam time would be here before she knew it. She was looking forward to that even less than she was the cold weather.

Lost in thought she jumped a bit when she heard someone talking to her. Looking up she seen the Hufflepuff Prefect standibg there. "Oh, hey." She said smiling at him. She hadn't talked to him since... well never. Sure they had battled together a few terms ago but there was really no talking going on then.

Hmm, wonder what made him want to talk to her today. Not that she was complaining. She liked making friends...

Sometimes.

Cedric smiled in return, glad that the girl could manage a smile when just a while back, she looked kinda sad. He stared at her, harder still. And that was the moment he remembered her. They fought together some few terms ago but yes, he hadn't really made friends with her. Well, maybe, this was the ripe time to make friends with her? Cedric grew excited about the thought of making friends for making friends was indeed something to be excited and grateful about.

"How are you?" was all Cedric could come up with. That made him feel sort of awkward.

It was, beautiful. Truly gorgeous. The fact that his parents had just dumped him, what seemed like ages ago, off at the station and expected him to be able to find his way through to Hogwarts and around the castle by himself, Ethan wasn't doing too badly. Of course, he didn't have a map handy, which would make things easier, but politeness got you everywhere.

He hoped.

Well, the dorms seemed pretty nice, he hadn't actually met any of the other students yet, or at least, not to socialise with, but they seemed pretty civil. If a bit barbaric. But then again, they hadn't had the advantage of waiting four years before going into wider education, they had been... Oh, for the right word... Thrust into society with no help as to how to behave or any clue on the correct things to say. Poor wretches. Maybe, if he met with some of the younger ones on a regular basis, he could teach them correct etiquette and how to dress themselves to look presentable. At least at that rate they may be able to get a job once they'd graduated.

Finding himself a decent perch, Ethan discovered that he could sit, quite unobserved and watch the comings and goings of students. Some of them noticed him, but carried on, an odd look it their eye. They were obviously just admiring his pristine uniform. Mother had allowed him to take an iron with him. He'd look neat every day.

Emma was walking quickly through the Entrance Hall looking down at her Potions book. She was so going to get the top grade this year and no one was going to stop there. She kept on walking, until *BAM*. Great, she just walked into someone. That was totally one of the things that she was good at. She fell to the ground, with her book still in one piece. "Umm.. I'm so sorry! Didn't see you.. You okay?" she asked as she looked up to find an older and very cute guy. She blushed very slightly.

Far gone into the depths of his thoughts about the clubs he could start up on a Friday night to smooth off the rough corners of some of his Slytherin acquaintances, Ethan was a little more than just surprised when a small-framed blonde crashed into his person. A hint of irritation sparked through his usually serene countenance, but it was gone as soon as it came.

Dropping to his knees to retrieve the younger girl's books for her, he smiled calmly at her, "Not at all, it's I who should be apologising," handing the books back to her in his long fingered grasp, he straightened his tie and nodded briefly, "quite alright, thank you." Feeling a silence beginning to form, awkward of all silences, he dropped his gaze to her books. "Potions! I was never that good at concocting anything, I'm sure you're quite the opposite..?" Leaving it hanging slightly so the girl took the hint to expand on her views of the subject, Ethan could feel the charm worming its way back into his bones.
