Justin thought about what Kim had just suggested. Sounded like a good idea to him. "Yeah sure" he replied. Standing up, Justin put the guitar strap over his neck. He always carried his guitar around with him like this. He was sure it wasn't going to it a lot of good but he didn't use the gold strap for anything else. But the guitar was fairly attractive itself. Metallic black with hints of green on the body and neck. And the gold strap sorta brought out the colours in it. Maybe.

Kim stood up and left his violin on the bench he pointed his wand at it... in a flash the violin was good. Kim slowly walked over to Justin "you ready to go?"

"Thanks," Dallin said brightly, before realizing that she had alreadly told him that his name was cool. His face went expressionless for a second, but he quickly moved on.

"What? Oh, yeah, everything's great." Why? ...This girl was... interesting. "Oh, yeah, I bet it's way different," he said with a nod when she talked about all the people. "I've never ever been homeschooled. Even when I went to muggle school I was in public school." Yep. He never had the desire to be homeschooled, either.

The Ravenclaw blinked. "Um... Ya know, the Northern U.S. area? Delaware, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania... New England. Where the people first lived when they came to America..." He blinked again; he really needed to brush up on his U.S. History.

"I didn't run away," he said, shaking his head slowly. "I came to Hogwarts for school. My family knows that. My sisters took me to King's Cross." Gah. He was so confused. "Home is Florida." he said, smiling almost involuntarily when he said the name.

Justin watched as Kim did something with his violin. Then he smiled as the boy approached him. "Yeah sure. Let's go" he replied enthusiastically.

Yeah, that could do it too a girl.

“To simplify it all, it would be easy to say that the Love Potion bears all the blame,” That was the simple solution yes, but not neccersarily the right one, “However did you try to explain, and I mean more than once? Of course she would not hear you the first time, but as they say, ‘Try try again!’”

The girl was hurt, there was no way she would accept him back in the first incident.

“Well if you are not over her!” Patroclus stopped dead in his tracks, pulling Carter to a halt aswell, and turned to look him straight in the face, “Then tell her!”

It was probably not as easy as the LionBoy saw it, but still love was a powerful thing, “It is all well and good to say that you are happy if she is happy, but that is a lie!” He was getting rather agro over the situation, “I will be happy with As long as she is happy, once you have given it one last try.” It would come down to Marie, but Carter had to grow a pair and get to it!

“The longer you leave it, the longer she has to move on!” Well she had moved on, but Patroclus knew there was a slight chance……or at least he hoped.

Finally managing to escape the owlery after surviving a sudden owl attack, Josh considered visiting Professor Lafay to mess with her a little which he had been planning to do since the last time he saw her however, as the Gryffindor walked in the seventh floor corridor,he decided that he felt too lazy to pass the distance between the seventh floor and the dungeons.

So instead he made his way to the Fat Lady and stuffed the letter that he failed to send in his pocket. The birds in the owlery were seriously crazy or they just hated him. Josh was not sure why they tried to kill him, even his own owl attacked madly. As a result, he was unable to see them but there were some scratches on his face here and there. And one of them, the one on his cheek, seemed quite deep.

However despite everything, his usual cheerful smile was on his face as he approached the common room. Of course it was because he was Joshua Carter who generally did not mind any kind of trouble. Hehe. Then when he looked down he saw that there was blood on his shirt. Meh. Surely he did not mind that either yet...where did it come from?

Halting for a moment the boy checked himself quickly and it was when he realised that his finger was bleeding. Hmm. Okay. Who cared? Laughing at himself for no apparent reason, he went on his way but stopped again when he saw Mr. Prefect and Carter on the way. The cheerful boy was still laughing when he arrived where the other lion boys were having a deep conversation.

Hopefully he stopped laughing the next moment and joined them with a wide grin on his face. ''Hi guys! What is it that you are trying to work out without me? I guess i can deal with it if there's a problem. Ha?''

Hehe.

Cody walked randomly into the Sventh Floor Corridor. He wasn't really doing that much. He had missed Hogwarts a lot of the Term break. He kept walking and he didn't see anyone he knew. He was just thinking.

Carter laughed. "Are you serious? You think I'm going to tell her any of this. She's moved on. Period. There's nothing more to do and I'm not about to embarrass myself by thinking there is." he said.

"So, you're just going to have to accept that." he said before turning and finishing the distance to the common room.

"Seriously. It's good. I'm good. Things are good." he said in a reassuring tone. Sure, the reassurance was mostly meant for Carter himself, but he hoped it would at least prompt Patroclus to drop the conversation.

"You know. Maybe it's about time that I moved on too."

"Oh, hey Josh." Carter said glad for the interruption. [b]"We were just talking about...," he turned to look at his friend, "what in Merlin's name happened to you?" he asked.

The boy was covered in blood and feathers. That was not normal.

Or... ehh... knowing Josh maybe he shouldn't have been surprised.

Patroclus eyed Carter with palpable annoyance, Carter was his friend, but right now he was acting like a little wuss.
“The Reason she has moved on, is because you never told her any of this properly!” the boys voice was raised, and he didn’t care who heard, having Marie in one ear, and Carter in the other was finally getting to the boy, and he was on the edge of an eruption.

“You say you are good, but you are not, you know it, I know it. So stop preteneding.”

However before the Prefect could launch into another hopefully-action-insipring-rant, the two LionBoys, were joined by the third of their little posse.

Turning his narrowed eyes from Carter to Josh, the fifth year’s snaps snapped wide, as he too took in what Carter had noticed, “Mate you are covered in blood…..and feathers?” It was evident that Josh had been involved in some Owl wrestling.

Just what Patroclus needed, so romance un-related drama, Josh vs. the Owls, now that was a story he wanted to hear.

This was going to be good,

Eyeing his two friends, the sixteen-year-old boy wondered what they were talking about since their expressions seemed to be serious to him. So he intently listened to Carter as he began telling what they were talking about however the boy did not complete his sentence and instead asked Josh a question that slightly confused him.

''What happened?'' he repeated unaware of what his friend was talking about until Patroclus mentioned that he was covered in blood and feathers. Ah, of course. How could not he figure out that Carter was asking about that? Or how could he forget about it in such a short time? Maybe it was because he did not care about how he looked, if he had any mess on himself.

''Ah!'' the Gryffindor exclaimed smirking at others. ''It's not really important. I played with the owls a little.'' With this he remembered his bleeding finger and examined it some before looking back at his friends. ''I was planning to send this'' he went on and took the letter for his parents out his pocket to show them ''But apparently i failed to do so.'' Bahaha! ''Because the owls there tried to kill me''

Katelynn came walking down the corridor. She liked to just walk around at Hogwarts, it was... interesting? There was always some new detail that she hadn't spotted.
Katelynn felt as though she had heard something behind her; she looked over her shoulder. there wasn't anything? Maybe she had just been paranoid. When she was about to turn her head back, she walked right into another student. She struggled to stay in balance, but at least she didn't fall like the last time..
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't really looking!" she said to the boy she had bumped into.
Nice done, Katelynn! You've bumped into people like this two times in one week - a new record?

A younger girl had bumped into Cody. She looked about two years younger than he did. He didn't know if he bumped into her or if she did. "Are you alright?", he asked her pulling her up with his hand. "Do you know where your going?", he continued. "I'm Cody Evans,", he repiled.

Looking a bit nervous, Evan toured the seventh floor slowly with his hands deep in his pockets. He normally had nothing to do here other than the room of requirement. Nope, he didn't like seeing dorks and picking up fights with a several of them he was known to dislike much. But today, he had come up all the way to here for a specific Lion, Sophie. Things were still a bit awkward between them, and he wanted to fix that. He didn't know how yet, but he'd find a way. Hopefully.

Now, it'd be perfect if she wished to come out, before any of the dorks spotted him in front of their common room with all of his clothes giving away he was a Snake.

Sebastian had just came out of the Gryffindor Common Room when he noticed Evan walking around. Hmm, maybe this was the situation where they could actually argue talk about things that have been going on. "Waiting for Sophie, huh?" He asked, stopping in the way of Evan. Of course he was, why else would the jerk be here? Yeah no reason.

"So did Sophie tell you about our date yet?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Aha, someone was coming o--great. Just. Great. Letting out an angry sigh at the fate, the prefect tried to turn his face away quickly before the number two dork spotted him. But he was too late. Of course the boy had to spot him, recognise him, and ask about Sophie. Of course. There wasn't any other possibility in his unlucky fate about especially girls.

Closing his eyes for a second to let himself curse nevertheless under his breath, he turned to face the boy, only to find him blocking his way. And now he was being a thug? As he wished. However, Evan wouldn't step back. He didn't want any fights today though. No. He would gladly have their fight later, at a more convenient time. For now, he only wanted to see Sophie.

"Look, let's not--" WHAT?! What had he just said? Their date? Their date; as in Sophie and him?! The Slytherin watched the boy in shock with his mouth open for a few good seconds until he could talk again.

"Your date?"

No, she hadn't told him anything.

He had to find her. Immediately.

"Yeah, don't worry I'm fine!" Katelynn said with a smile.
"I believe so. This is the seventh floor corridor, right? But I'm not going anywhere particular, just walking around at Hogwarts.. Sorry if that sounds a bit strange?" she said ad chuckled.
Cody, huh? "Hi Cody, it's nice to meet you! Though a bit strange way.." she grinned.

Now these are the moments that Sebastian glorified in. That he just wish he could have recorded on tape or be selected for a scene in a muggle movie. Yes, these glorifying moments of Evan being shocked by the idea of Sebastian and Sophie on a date. Hmm, at least he knew that this one moment he was never going to forget.

"Yes, my date." He said, crossing his arms. Psh, he might as well be a King at this moment in time. "You don't have a problem with that, do you?" He asked. Not that he needed his permission, but he would just glorify even more in the fact that Evan depises the idea of Sophie and him together. Hah.

Now what else to bring up....maybe saying something about.....oh yes. Hmm, he would just save that after he hears about Evan's opinion about it all. --> Which he knew wouldn't be that suprising to hear.

Blinking, Evan finally snapped out of the initial shock, and stole a peek at the entrance of their common room. Merlin, where was she? He had to find her as soon as possible, before this Sebby-Dorky had done anything to her. Folding his arms as well, he flickered his eyes back at the guy as he pressed on his word in that sentence Evan hated. The blond could tell he was enjoying every single second of his 'glory'. Well, he wasn't going to let him enjoy it. Or, at least, he wasn't going to let him enjoy over him. Because as much as he hated to admit, he had lost out this time. But maybe, if he could see Sophie... Back to the dork.

"Well, mate, I guess it would feel horrible to be the second," he attacked back while staring directly into his eyes. He didn't even think it was necessary to remind the dork he had been the one to go out with her on the very first day of school; the dork clearly remembered that quite well, judging by his boasting about going on a date. He even let himself grin on that, until the dork practically asked about his permission. Hands clenching into fists in his pockets, he managed to keep his voice down and sweet, albeit stressed a bit.

"See, mate," he said with his elegance of Liverpool accent, as he threw his arm around his shoulders and started walking slowly, leaning over his ear a bit like a friend would do. "I do mind. You know why? Because I don't like guys that try to get innocent girls like Sophie just for fun. Oh, and, I don't like you." Letting go off him, he stared into his eyes again.

Pretty clear? He thought so.

The second? Psh, okay so maybe he was the 'second' as in the way Evan put it. Now did he care? No. Because Sebastian had something over Evan that he could probably never stop. "I may be the second in having a date with her, mate, but what if I kissed her? Hmm, I think I would be the first." He shot back, pretty proud of his thinking. Sure, he might not kiss her but who knows?

As Evan threw an arm around his shoulders, well Sebastian just wanted to punch the guts out of him, but he wouldn't. Due to the fact that Sophie could come out of the Gryffindor Common Room that exact moment if she wanted to. "You know, I think we have an agreement here. I don't like you either, but you're really wrong on something." He said taking a step back from the guy. "I do happen to like Sophie, a lot, and I wouldn't date her for fun anyways. Don't start judging people by your jealousy." He snapped.

Did the boy just mocked his mate? Narrowing his eyes, Evan stared back at the boy as a thousand things to do to him ran through his mind in that tiny space between his words and his shot back.

Blinking several times, now with one of his biggest shocks in his entire life, he could feel the blood rushing to his face. Calling him with a suitable word under his breath, he tried to restart his brain for a few seconds. He couldn't have kissed her, slash, he couldn't kiss her in the future! No, NEVER! After a few seconds, he finally found his brains again, and managed to shoot back "She wouldn't kiss someone she doesn't even like, would she, if she hasn't kissed someone she... how do you say... loves." HA! How about that, you stupid dork? Evan vividly remembered her admitting that in the passage 'I think there is a crush between us maybe even love at least from my part.' And he, STUPID he ..! No, he couldn't let this idiot to win. He had to do something. He had to find her, as a start. WHERE was she?!

There, take a step back. All Evan wanted was to take off that badge and hit the guy but no, he wouldn't. Because the dork wasn't worth it. He'd teach him a lesson later... in the Hogsmeade. Prefably in the back alley.

Raising one eyebrow, he said "See, that's an interesting thing to hear from you, matey." He didn't believe the slightest that he liked Sophie. "Considering the fact that you'd admitted she was the only girl you hadn't flirted straight away, because you viewed her as a friend." He folded his arms like a parent looking forward to hearing his child's answer after cornering him.

"Well it doesn't take love to kiss somebody." Sebastian said, not hurt by the fact that Sophie may love Evan. "Oh and by the way, seeming as you like Sophie, obviously, why aren't you with her instead of your girlfriend?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Oh yes, he would bring his girlfriend into this, why, because that might get some sense into this boy. Most people would say to keep quiet around prefects, due to their 'powers' of sorts, but Evan wasn't a threat to him, that is. Not even close.

WOWWWWWW.

Okay, so he brought in the first day that he had met Sophie? "Do you even have a brain? Think logically, here. That was the first day, I don't like any girl on the first day. It's been quite sometime, so yeah, now I like her, due to the fact I got to know her." He said rolling his eyes. Hellooooooo, wake up! Ugh, why was he wasting his time around this jerk anyways?

"Yeah you know, 'cause you've kissed many people for fun, haven't you?" the prefect said calmly, suprising himself as well at his calmness. Yeah, go snake instincts.

...Why wasn't this boy backing down? At this time, Evan should have won this argument, and live happily ever after with Sophie. Instead, Sebastian was really getting on his nerves now. At the mention of his girlfriend, he could hardly stop himself from punching the guy. He knew he should keep calm and do nothing violent, but he just couldn't bear the guy. If only he could corner the guy in somewhere quiet and they... discuss this out. Taking a deep breath, he shoved his fists even deeper in his pockets and muttered through gritted teeth "None of your business." How he knew about his girlfriend; he had no idea. It must have been either Carter, Joshua or Sophie that had told him. It didn't matter though, Mina was staying out of this conversation. And he'd better leave her out.

Raising his eyebrows, he wasn't impressed at all with his 'logic'. "Yeah, right. You are not at all impressed by their beauty or anything, not at all attracted at the first sight." Cue rolling eyes here. "Oh but right, I forgot. You only date for 'fun'." He shot a venomous look at him before directing his attention back at the entrance again.

Seriously, why bothering with this dork anyway? All he wanted was to see Sophie--and now it was even more urgent, he wasn't going anywhere without seeing her--and he didn't have to answer any of his silly comments. Yeah, he was going to keep silent, and keep his fists in his pockets, and wait for Sophie.

Sebastian clenched his hands into fists as Evan kept on hitting him with bullets, not literally of course, but it certainly felt like it. His held tilted to the side and his face, was of anger, as Evan said that kissing and dating girls were for 'fun' for him. Which wasn't true at all. Sure he wanted to show this jerk that it wasn't like that, but he wouldn't.

"Is that what you do all day? Think of insults and being judgmental towards me just to get your anger including jealousy out due to the fact that you're not with Sophie? To me, it's...well it's just sad." He said, running a hand through his hair, clearly stressed.

He was kind of done with this arguing...for now at least.

"Seriously, mate, I really do like Sophie, no matter what you think, but apparently you're not going to stop the situation you're in now," He said, meaning Evan having a girlfriend, "to be with Sophie. And I might take that chance."

Why was he being nice, kind of, to him, again? Yeah, he didn't know.

"Although, if that happens, I promise you I won't hurt her, like you are now and would do if you were with her." He said, shooting the bullet once more back at him.

Flickering his eyes at the boy again as he couldn't help it, Evan was quite pleased to see he'd finally caught him. He was clenching his hands in fists too, and for a strange reason the blond boy relieved at that. Of course, he didn't let his hands flat. On the contrary, he tensed up his body even further because he'd expected a blow and would be glad to answer it. Please Merlin, let him hit me. So that I can hit him too. But, to his disappointment, the dork covered up well to let it all out by words. Well, he wasn't that stupid after all, to hit a prefect. Evan didn't like it.

Listening to the dork's comments as he kept looking at the entrance of the common room, he only laughed at them. He laughed out loud. "Yes Sebby, well done for figuring out how I spend my days," he said mockingly, talking so fast it was hard for a foreigner to understand through his accent. He'd just ignored his will to keep silent. And he didn't even care.

"And you know what is sad to me? You're attracted to her, because you want to prove something to me. But she deserves much better than you." Looking down on the boy, he gave a disgusted look. It was such a shame... if he was going to do nothing about it. He could see Sophie falling for this guy. And he didn't like that future.

He was about to flicker his eyes back at the entrance again when Seb kept on talking. And hit him with his words. Almost literally hit him. Lowering his eyes to the floor as all he could do was listening to the other boy's comments, he knew at that moment that Sebastian was dead right. He didn't want to break up with Mina, even if she was away and doing NOTHING to come back here. And he would never do such a horrible thing to neither of the girls. Looking up again, he gave a small smile.

"Well, mate. Good luck."

And with that, he fixed his gaze one last time at the entrance, and didn't sway.

He was wrong. Totally wrong. Sebastian hated when people did that. Okay so maybe he did act all snobbish and all high and mighty on the outside, but he did care for Sophie a lot, no matter what Evan had said. He only acted the way he did because of what he was going through at the moment. Maybe he wouldn't ever get together with Sophie or any girl for that matter this year, because it seemed love wasn't enough for him or at least for his parents that is. No, he wasn't trying to impress or prove anything to Evan, no matter how much Evan wanted to make it seem like that. He just kind of wanted someone to be there for him while he was going through this tough time.

Would he tell Evan that? No.

"Good talk we had here. We shouldn't have it again." Sebastian snapped, walking away to leave Evan waiting for Sophie. Yeah, he was done.
